- The preparation of this plan is underway. Very soon, after President Trump takes office, we can expect proposals for which we must be certain they are acceptable to Ukraine. We are talking here about a potential ceasefire, the timeframe it would be in effect, at what border, and what future security guarantees for Ukraine will be, all within an absolutely unambiguous context. Americans will, one way or another, propose solutions that will cost them less commitment to European and Ukrainian affairs in the near future - stated Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).
