Glapiński Comments on NBP Monetary Policy Council Votes:

They Don't Reflect Dislike for Government Policy.

- For a long time now, fortunately, as you can see from the voting results, the Monetary Policy Council (RPP) has been voting very harmoniously and purely on substantive grounds. In fact, everyone votes the same, with the exception of Professor Tyrowicz, you are aware of this exception. Professor Tyrowicz has been proposing a rate hike of 2 percentage points for about 18 votes now. In total, she has voted for an interest rate increase 30 times in consecutive votes. I say this in reference to those hotheads who claim in the media that the RPP votes somehow reflect a dislike for government policy, or something to that effect – stated Adam Glapiński at a press conference.
