- All the voices and signals that have come in have been noted. We are trying to respond to them. There will be meetings on this matter to clarify this situation [the Prime Minister’s counter-signature on the President’s decision regarding the so-called neo-judge] - said Maciej Berek in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Gość Radia ZET. - I must say, and please accept this directly: the Prime Minister addressed this matter at a press conference, he explained it. I cannot imagine adding, supplementing, correcting, or elaborating on anything at this moment. It was presented by the Prime Minister, and I ask you, ladies and gentlemen, to allow us to leave it as it was presented by the Prime Minister. - he stated. “The Matter Was Explained by the Prime Minister, I Will Not Add Anything to It, Nor Will I Elaborate on It” - The Prime Minister emphasized that there was no deal [between the Prime Minister and the President], that all these suspicions are unfounded. […] He addressed this suspicion, this concern. Nothing of the sort happened - he continued. When further pressed on how the situation arose where the Prime Minister co-signed the President’s decision to appoint the so-called neo-judge as chairman of the assembly of judges of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court, he replied: - This matter was explained by the Prime Minister, and I will not add anything to it, nor will I elaborate on it. […] The Prime Minister clarified, presented, and closed this matter last week with his statement at a conference.
