- We have a government program concerning housing. It turns out that this is a program proposed by the Left to the government, and this government has accepted the program. You know the now-famous slogan "housing is a right, not a commodity." Many people laughed at this slogan at the time, many people thought this slogan would never be realized in their lives - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at a press conference.

- A housing program has been adopted, and we should boast about this housing program. [...] This year, actually up to this month [...] 18,000 apartments have already been planned for construction this year, and they are actually already being built. This is just the beginning, because we plan to expand this program further this year - he continued.

- Within the scope of these apartments, 6.7 billion zlotys are currently secured. I would like to remind you that in 2023, when PiS was building apartments, 1.7 billion was secured for housing - he went on to say.

- Also 2,500 places in dormitories. This is just the beginning. We plan to build 25,000 apartments annually, we have financial security for this, and most importantly, we have moved away from a program that we in the Left have always considered a bad program, namely, loan subsidies. We knew that housing loan subsidies actually mainly benefit developers and mainly benefit banks - he added.
