- I wasn't surprised by the exchange issue itself, although of course I didn't know the exact timing of its execution. A year and a half ago, when I was still the coordinator of special services, I discussed this with the Americans. They had then started negotiations with the Russians, but they also turned to their partners, their allies, asking them to join this initiative. They asked: do you have any of your spies, agents, who are of great interest to the Russians, who are in prison and facing a severe sentence? - Mariusz Kamiński said on TV Republika.
