Statement by Marshal Hołownia Regarding the Attack on a Humanitarian Convoy in the Gaza Strip:

I Appeal for an Impartial Investigation.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Polish volunteer, Damian Soból, who tragically died in an attack on a humanitarian convoy in the Gaza Strip. I appeal for an impartial investigation that will lead to a full clarification of the matter. It must be unequivocally emphasized that the lives of civilians on both sides – Palestinian and Israeli – must be protected in accordance with international law and international humanitarian law. A terrible thing has happened that should never have taken place - reads the statement by the Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, published on social media.
