Local Governments Alone Cannot Solve Housing Problems. I Appeal to Speaker Biejat to Address This Issue
Regarding housing, all the ideas Ms. Biejat speaks of, both for communal housing and affordable rentals, we are building them. I hear that it could have been faster. It's interesting if it could have been faster during the pandemic, or at the time when prices soared after the war. That's a debatable point, but there are no new, revolutionary ideas there. I agree that it would be better to build more apartments; incidentally, local governments alone cannot solve housing problems (...) I'll give one example. I want to contribute land to my own company that builds affordable rental apartments, but it's classified as state aid, and I have to pay VAT on it because that's how PiS changed the law. So, there is a lot to be done in the Sejm and the Senate. I appeal to Speaker Biejat to address this matter, as it could help us - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in the program "Graffiti" on Polsat News.
