Duda:

If Someone in the Family Has a History of Perpetrators Who Tormented Poles, They Shouldn't Push Themselves Forward, as There's No Place for Them on the Billboards of Free Poland

- We also want Poland to be represented honestly and governed honestly. I know we have a difficult history, families are diverse. Some made various mistakes, sometimes out of conviction, sometimes out of fear, sometimes out of opportunism, sometimes out of conformism, they went into collaboration with the communists, with those Soviet lackeys who came here with the Red Army and usurped our country – said President Andrzej Duda in Mława. - But I'll say one thing: I have nothing against them contributing to, co-creating the prosperity of our homeland, that we all live here together, all of us working for Poland. But I am not in favour of them representing Poland, I am not in favour of them representing Polish interests. If someone in the family has a history of perpetrators who tormented Poles, patriots, who participated in roundups of Poles, who participated in murders by the NKVD, who wanted to build a communist system here under Soviet patronage, then let them work peacefully, but let them not push themselves forward, because there is no place for them on the billboards in free Poland, that is my opinion – he continued.
