- I have good news. Next week, two decisions will be made regarding the European funds currently blocked for Poland. These decisions will unlock up to €137 billion for Poland, sourced from the Next Generation Fund and Cohesion Funds. This will be guaranteed through the European Public Prosecutor's Office, and it is wonderful news for Europe and for Poland, and it is your achievement. Strong rule of law also means a more resilient society, and we need that more than anything else – said the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, at a press briefing in Warsaw.
