Błaszczak on Tusk's Actions: What is Happening Now, I Would Describe as an Attempt to Replace US Leadership in Europe with German Leadership
- Please remember that the guarantor of security, including Poland's, is NATO, with the United States being the leader within NATO. Therefore, I am more concerned that Donald Tusk has gone to war with half of the US political world, criticizing the Republicans and now attacking a candidate for the US presidency. Of course, the primaries have not yet ended, but much indicates that Donald Trump will run in these elections, so this attacking of the United States is harmful to Poland. And perhaps in this theory, an alternative resonates, meaning one could seek a theory that Donald Tusk wants to replace the USA with France – stated Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference in Warsaw.
- From a Polish perspective, the most important thing is to arm the Polish army; the PiS government did this, and it was my task as Minister of National Defence. We have many achievements and successes here. What is happening now, I would describe as an attempt to push the USA out of Europe, replacing that leadership with, likely, German leadership – he added.
