Despite Tusk's Assurances, 9 MEPs from Civic Coalition and Left Lists Tipped the Scales for EU Treaty Changes

- Nine MEPs from Poland, elected from the Civic Coalition and Left lists, tipped the scales and caused the European Parliament to adopt a resolution calling for radical changes to EU treaties - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

- Despite Donald Tusk's assurances yesterday, people supporting him have accepted the EU's right to impose taxes according to their provisions, to strip member states of border control, and to take away many other state functions, consequently leading to the complete dependence of Poland and other member states on decisions made in Brussels and on the will of the two strongest states in the Union - the head of government emphasized.
