Mentzen:
I Received an Invitation from the Prime Minister Yesterday
- I received such an invitation yesterday, but there is really nothing to discuss. Prime Minister Morawiecki is a completely unreliable person. He has been in power for several years, and only after he stops governing has he started saying that he intends to take care of Poland's national interest in the European Union, he would like voluntary social security for entrepreneurs, some tax reliefs, extending the vacatio legis. He had plenty of time for that and did nothing - stated Sławomir Mentzen on Radio ZET.
- Some kind of unspecific invitation to talks. It was probably Thursday or Friday. Throughout the campaign, I said that I was running in the elections to end the rule of PiS, not to extend it, so what do we have to talk about? - he continued.
- Today we have a meeting on this matter, we will certainly issue a statement. As I said, I certainly have nothing to discuss with Mateusz Morawiecki. I certainly will not go, because I believe that since I said throughout the campaign that I would not form governments with PiS, why would I go for a conversation about forming a government with PiS - he added.
