Hennig-Kloska:
I Have No Major Objections to Deputy Speaker Pęk's Work
- I don't know the reason why the senators did not elect Mr. Marek Pęk [as deputy speaker]. That is a decision for the Senate. Just as the Senate should not interfere in personnel matters in the Sejm, I believe the Sejm should not be calling the shots on personnel for the Senate. For me, Senator Pęk has not committed any transgressions that would lead me not to vote for Madam Speaker Witek. I personally did not vote for her because I believe that as Sejm Marshal, she broke regulations, violated the rules, and limited the rights of the minority in the Sejm. I do not want someone like that to represent our chamber externally, nor to be responsible for its internal work - stated Paulina Hennig-Kloska in an interview with Robert Mazurek on the program "Morning Conversation" on RMF FM.
- I have no major objections to Marshal Pęk's work, personally, but perhaps there is something I am unaware of - she added.
