New Spot on Migration:

Only PiS Can Stop Tusk.

- I want to remind you of a certain statement [by Cezary Tomczyk about refugees]. It will be 8 years on Monday since the spokesperson of the PO-PSL government made this declaration. Fortunately, elections followed, which we won. And it turned out that nothing had to be taken on the chin. That there would be no forced relocation of illegal immigrants to Poland. They were already preparing special centers to place them there. Today, there are elections again. Donald Tusk pretends there is no issue. His party colleagues say so. On the matter of building a barrier on the border with Belarus, they went even further. Tusk attacked us like that back then. They were against everything we did to stop this invasion. This is what's at stake in these elections. Only PiS can stop Tusk - says Mariusz Kamiński in another PiS spot, published on social media.

09:28

Ziobro:

There is currently not a shred of evidence suggesting Wawrzyk profited or was criminally involved in this affair

- Yes, of course, such an interrogation will definitely take place. At this moment, I can say, contrary to the claims of PO politicians, and echoed by some media outlets, that there is currently not a shred of evidence that would indicate Mr. Wawrzyk profited in any way, or was criminally involved in this affair. An affair on a micro-scale compared to what the fairy tale writers from PO, who are in desperation because they are losing elections, are claiming - stated Zbigniew Ziobro in an interview with Krzysztof Ziemiec on RMF FM.

09:35

Ziobro:

Soon I will present scandals, adopting PO's rhetoric, many times larger in scale, the number of visas issued for bribes during Tusk's government
The scandal was discovered by Polish services, I emphasize, not foreign ones, these are more fairy tales, by the Central Anticorruption Bureau, and we are conducting a very offensive investigation. Soon I will present to you scandals, in this sense, if adopting the rhetoric of Civic Platform (PO), many times larger, because they were many times larger, in terms of scale, the number of visas issued for bribes during the rule of Donald Tusk, when he was prime minister - stated Zbigniew Ziobro on RMF FM.

Third Way's "Green Trucks" Hit the Road. Kosiniak-Kamysz: This is Opening the Campaign to Even the Smallest Hamlet
- Two "Green Trucks" are heading out across Poland. The Third Way is going to the people […]. In every constituency, we will meet with voters, present our program, and discuss the most important issues and how to solve the most pressing problems. Alongside the "Green Trucks," the green vehicles of the PSL, the Third Way, will be towns and cities, […] this is an opening of the campaign to even the smallest locality. Not just rallies, not just conventions, but reaching everywhere it's possible – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Warsaw. - Every day, together with Poland 2050, […] Szymon Hołownia and I will be on the road, discussing and presenting the 12 guarantees of the Third Way for Poles, a list of shared concerns – continued the leader of the agrarian party.

09:44

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the Embargo's Non-Extension: A Mistake by the EC and a Gigantic Failure by Wojciechowski. We Demand His Resignation
- The European Commission's failure to extend the embargo on four products [from Ukraine]: wheat, corn, sunflower, and rapeseed. This is a mistake by the EC and a gigantic failure of Commissioner Wojciechowski. The sole representative of Poland in the EC is currently the Commissioner for Agriculture […], he was unable to safeguard Poland's interests, and European agriculture, he lacks agency. We demand and expect the immediate resignation of Janusz Wojciechowski - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference in Warsaw.

09:45

Ziobro:

Grodzki Took Bribes, Shamelessly Took Bribes and Extorted Them, According to Prosecution Findings, from Poor, Sick Patients

- Mr. Grodzki, Marshal Grodzki, took bribes, shamelessly took bribes and extorted them in the same way, according to the prosecution's procedural findings, from poor, sick patients. Mr. Grodzki relies on media reports, the prosecution he heads is formulating its charges, wants to formulate them, but Mr. Grodzki is hiding behind his immunity, and Donald Tusk is hiding him - stated Zbigniew Ziobro on RMF FM.

09:47

Ziobro Announces Another Motion to Revoke Grodzki's Immunity
Another motion to revoke his [Senate Marshal Tomasz Grodzki] immunity is being prepared - stated Zbigniew Ziobro on RMF FM.

ORLEN Nearly Doubles Slovak Station Network This Year; All 90 Now Branded ORLEN

PARTNER TEXT

This year, the concern has nearly doubled its network of stations in Slovakia. All 90 stations now operate under the ORLEN brand. Following the completion of rebranding, ORLEN is focusing on expanding its non-fuel offering and developing alternative fuel distribution, including the launch of the first electric vehicle charging points. Further growth in the number of stations is also planned.

– We are effectively strengthening the ORLEN brand in Poland and the region. In Slovakia, in just four years, we have built one of the largest fuel networks and aim to soon be among the top three station operators in the country. Products and services bearing the ORLEN logo are increasingly appreciated here – customers value their quality and innovation. We will continue in this direction – soon Slovak drivers will be able to use our application to easily access ORLEN's offerings. We are also focusing on the development of electromobility and plan to launch hydrogen refueling stations – says Daniel Obajtek, CEO of ORLEN.

ORLEN Group has been operating in Slovakia since 2019 and is one of the fastest-growing fuel networks in this market, currently holding the fourth position. At the end of last year, the concern had 50 stations in Slovakia. This year, this number has increased to 90, partly due to the acquisition of 37 Slovnaft branded stations from MOL. The concern has just completed their rebranding, which means all stations in the network in Slovakia now operate under the ORLEN brand.

The number of Slovak drivers using ORLEN TANKKARTA Easy and Business is growing dynamically, which is why the concern has decided to implement a mobile application on the local market enabling the integration of ORLEN payment and loyalty cards. Drivers using the app will be able to collect points for fuel, services, and products purchased at ORLEN stations and exchange them for attractive rewards. The application, planned for launch later this year, will also offer a navigation system for quickly locating the nearest station in the network.

Electric vehicle chargers will also appear at Slovak ORLEN stations. By the end of 2030, charging points will be available at 40% of the concern's stations in the country. By that time, ORLEN will also launch 20 hydrogen refueling stations.

ORLEN is also developing its non-fuel sales in Slovakia. There are already 48 Stop.Cafe gastronomic points operating in the country. Further locations are being adapted to the 2.0 standard, which includes an expanded gastronomic offer. Eight locations will be modernized by the end of the year. New snack categories will also be introduced for sale at all points under the Stop.Cafe brand. Some of these will be produced in Poland.

The ORLEN Group's strategy until 2030 assumes that the concern's fuel station network will comprise 3,500 points. 45% of them will be located outside Poland. At the end of the second quarter of 2023, the number of ORLEN fuel stations was 3,157, of which 1,919 were in Poland and 1,238 in foreign markets: the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Germany, Slovakia, and Hungary. In July, the concern announced the acquisition of the Austrian fuel network Turmöl. Upon its finalization, ORLEN's station count will increase by 266, and the concern will conduct retail fuel sales in seven European markets.

Dziemianowicz-Bąk:

We'll Oust Czarnek, Remove HiT, and Raise Teacher Salaries. Schools for Children, Not the Clergy
- What kind of school do we want for our children? Do you want Czarnek's school with HiT and party indoctrination, but without teachers, or a school with well-paid educators? For us, the Left, the choice is obvious. Therefore, first, we will oust Czarnek, second, we will remove HiT from schools, and third, we will raise teacher salaries so that they start earning around 5,000 PLN gross from the outset - said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk at the Left's convention. - The PiS government is a state where the rulers first destroyed public education and then quickly evacuated their children from public schools to private ones. [...] As the Left, we want good, public education for everyone. A school close to home, which will provide every child with a warm, free meal, ensure free textbooks, and teach them enough so that none of you have to pay for private tutoring anymore - she continued. - School is for children, not for the clergy. We know this, but today it is exactly the opposite. The money that the Church extracts from Polish schools for religious education classes is so vast that it's difficult to imagine. It's nearly 2 billion annually, which is five million every day. [...] We will give this money back to the children, and let the Church take its religion out of schools to catechetical rooms, and at its own expense - she argued. - Messrs. Czarnek and Mentzen are appearing in the media, telling us, trying to convince us, that upbringing equals hitting. That it's okay for a tall, adult man to threaten a toddler with violence, pain, suffering, humiliation. No, that is not okay. These are not opinions, this is pathology. Hitting children is wrong, I know it, the Left knows it, the vast majority of Poles know it. The right does not know it, but today we say to the right: hands off Polish children. The Left will protect children from violence - she emphasized.

Nearly PLN 4.5 Billion for Local Governments. Funding for Investments in Former State Farm Communes

PARTNERSHIP TEXT

The results of the 6th edition of the Strategic Investment Program for local governments that operated state agricultural farms are now known. 1,732 territorial self-government units (TSGUs and associations) have been granted funding for the implementation of 2,035 investments.

Supporting the sustainable socio-economic development of the country is one of the main goals of the Strategic Investment Program. The special edition for former state farm communes will help equalize their development opportunities and improve the social and territorial cohesion of the country.

The government will allocate the most funds to: road infrastructure (over PLN 2 billion), water and sewage investments (nearly PLN 600 million), social infrastructure (over PLN 350 million), and sports infrastructure (over PLN 300 million), in that order.

Communes, powiats, inter-commune, and powiat-commune associations could submit applications for investment funding from 36 economic sectors in this recruitment. Each TSGU could submit two applications. The granted funding can cover a maximum of 98% of the investment costs, which means that local governments will have to contribute a minimum of 2% of their own share.

The list of local governments that have received support is available on the website of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).

According to the program's regulations, the Prime Minister decided on the granting of funding based on the recommendation of a commission appointed at the KPRM. On this basis, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego will issue preliminary investment guarantees to local governments, and they will launch tenders within a maximum of nine months from their receipt.

More information about the program is available at here.

Czarzasty to Morawiecki: You have a car, your children attend private school, you receive private healthcare. Imagine not everyone can afford that.
- I was recently surprised to learn that you were surprised by the poor quality of meals in hospitals. Then I learned, also with surprise, that you didn't know that uninsulated concrete panel buildings are damp. [...] Imagine that there are places in Poland where there is no hospital, no doctor, no library, no cultural center [...]. There are places where the state as an institution simply doesn't exist - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty at the Left convention. - The only person in these places who tells people once a week how to live, who to vote for, is a representative of the clergy. The clergy, Mr. Prime Minister, is a professional group whose example you know is Director Rydzyk. Director Rydzyk is a man who, in exchange for money, persuades people, and on election day, October 15th, he will be doing it, to vote for PiS - he continued. - 13 million 800 thousand people in Poland have no access to railways or public buses, PKS. [...] Your government has recently eliminated 300 thousand PKS connections. [...] As a result, people cannot travel to another city and see a theater performance, they cannot go to the cinema. Sick people cannot go to the doctor [...]. Not everyone, Mr. Prime Minister, has a car. I know, I read recently, that you have a car, that your children attend private school, that you also receive treatment in private hospitals. Imagine that not everyone can afford it. [...] Do you know, Mr. Prime Minister, that there are 1.8 million people in Poland who live in total poverty, which is less than 600 zlotys per family member per month? - he continued.

Grodzki on Ziobro's Words: It's Clear the Truth About the Visa Scandal Hurt

- It's clear the truth about the visa scandal has hurt – most of all, the one who should be investigating it. 250,000 visas on one hand, and less than zero on the other – though Prime Minister Miller was still generous in his assessment. On October 15th, Poles will choose the truth – wrote Tomasz Grodzki on Twitter.

11:31

Trzaskowski:

Today, the choice before us is either a calm, substantive discussion about the future, or constantly looking backward
Today, the choice before us is either a calm, substantive discussion about the future, or constantly looking backward. I have, however, been provoked and would like to tell you a bit about this because I have been called a leftist, and of course, there is nothing wrong with that, except that I believe these kinds of stories are completely out of sync with today's reality. It shows that this person, whose name I do not wish to mention today because I am convinced that soon they will not be any point of reference for the debate in Poland – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a meeting with Lublin residents.

11:46

Trzaskowski:

It is a woman who should decide about her life and health

-
When we say that we will support women, that this is the most important matter for us, that we want to ensure they truly have equal opportunities, that the wages stipulated by law are indeed equal for women and men, when in Warsaw I am introducing a free nursery program, which – I hope – Civic Coalition (KO) will continue throughout Poland, it is so that girls, women, if they wish, can return to the labor market. When we clearly state that it is a woman who should decide about her life and health, it is because we simply listen to our women all the time. It is a woman who has to decide about her life and health – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Lublin.

11:49

Biejat:

The Left is Stable, Solid, with Drawers Full of Ready Legislation. Our Voters Know We Don't Do Strange Programmatic Pirouettes Every 5 Minutes
- Recently, I heard from a journalist who said he thought the Left's campaign was somewhat boring. He told me: listen Magda, you constantly talk about housing, nurseries and kindergartens, healthcare, education, public services. You don't argue with anyone, it's clear what to expect from you, you don't change ideas or programs - said Magdalena Biejat at the Left's convention. - I'll tell you a secret: our voters appreciate it. Because our voters want the Left to be as it is: stable and solid, ready to work, to govern. One that is confident in itself and its program, which has full drawers of ideas and ready legislation […]. Most importantly, it's the Left that thinks about people, their daily matters, problems - she continued. - The Left is a solid company. Our voters know this perfectly well, they know that we don't pull our ideas for Poland out of a hat 3 weeks before the elections. They know that we don't perform strange programmatic pirouettes every 5 minutes, nor that we won't make strange plot twists when it comes to our program proposals. They know that we are the same as we were in 2019, when millions of Polish women and men trusted us. Only this time we are even better prepared and have even more experience - she emphasized.

11:50

Trzaskowski:

Without Women, There Would Be No Freedom; I Believe We Are a Society That Respects Women
Do not fall for these labels. Because I deeply believe that we are a society that respects others, that wants to help the weaker, that wants to regain the basic ability to talk about what is most important, that respects women. Marshal Piłsudski knew very well that Poland, as one of the first in the world, had to grant voting rights to women, because without them, there would be no our freedom – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a meeting with Lublin residents.

11:54

Trzaskowski:

The Final Stretch Lies Ahead. Let's Not Waste This Chance, or We Won't Be Able to Look Our Children and Grandchildren in the Eye

- This is the Poland we will rally behind. A Poland that consistently looks towards the future, and in which no one attempts solely to divide and incite hatred against others (…) The final stretch lies ahead; let's not waste this chance, or we won't be able to look our children and grandchildren in the eye – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a meeting with Lublin residents.

12:08

Biedroń:

The End of Betonization. The Left Will Establish a Fund for Crushing Concrete
- Something that seems to be PiS's national sport today, namely the betonization of our cities. We must say clearly and unequivocally: the end of betonization, we must crush this concrete. It cannot be like in Leżajsk, where the mayor invested 14 million zlotys to cut down all the trees in the market square and flood the city with concrete. That is why the Left will establish a fund for crushing concrete - 3 billion zlotys to make all Polish cities green as we dream of - said Robert Biedroń at the Left's convention. - The Left is, as you know, like watermelons - we are red inside, but green on the outside. That's how Poland will be - he added.

13:38

Kaczyński:

Tusk attributes abuses to us, talking about hundreds of thousands. It's a lie, a lie, and once again a lie
- This Tusk has suddenly changed his mind lately. Before, he said that Poland would pay for not accepting forced relocation, meaning forced emigrants. At other times, he said the barrier was a mound, meaning a scam, that it would never happen, and then when it was already there, he said it was against poor people and that all that was missing was electricity to stop them, thus referencing a very bad tradition, concentration camps. In short, he tried to discredit and compromise all actions aimed at preventing this illegal emigration from reaching Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń. - Also, no one heard any words of condemnation from his lips towards those who disgustingly insulted the Border Guard, as well as other formations defending our border. These are people connected to him, those who support him. For now, at least, nothing can be heard, and it's hard to imagine he wouldn't know about Ms. Holland's film. Nor can anything be heard about him commenting on this matter in any way. And suddenly he is a defender. What's more, he attributes some abuses to us in this area. He talks about hundreds of thousands. It's a lie, a lie, and once again a lie - he continued.

13:43

Kamiński Announces New Sanctions for Russians: 'No Car Will Enter Poland'
- In connection with the publication on September 8 of this year of the European Commission's guidelines regarding the prohibition of entry into the European Union for cars registered in Russia, I wish to inform you that this ban at the Polish border will be in effect from tomorrow and comes into force today at midnight - said Mariusz Kamiński during a press statement at the Terespol border crossing. - This means that no passenger car registered in Russia will be able to enter Polish territory. Russian trucks were already subject to this ban previously; now we are addressing this matter. No Russian car will enter Poland - he declared. - This applies to all cars, both those used commercially and private cars, regardless of whether the driver or the owner of the car is a Russian citizen or a citizen of another state - explained the Minister of Interior and Administration. - This is another element of the sanctions being imposed on Russia and the citizens of that state in connection with the brutal war in Ukraine - he added.

13:44

Kaczyński:

The entire scope of the matter is precisely a hundred and several dozen visas, not hundreds of thousands, and we are reacting to it as a law-abiding state would

- Our services last year picked up on a thread that could indicate a crime and followed it. The first arrests took place in March this year, followed by others. In short, the state acted as it should. And the entire scope of the matter is precisely a hundred and several dozen visas, a hundred and several dozen, I repeat, not hundreds of thousands, and we are reacting to it as a law-abiding state would. A state that recognizes the equality of citizens; where there was political responsibility, conclusions have been drawn – said Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:44

Kaczyński:

There's no scandal, not even a minor one

- I repeat: there is no scandal, not even a minor one. It is simply a stupid and indeed criminal idea of some people, the vast majority of whom have nothing to do with the apparatus of power, or they have some distant connections that they tried to exploit. And whether this will go further, we don't know, but if we are talking about the highest representatives of power, meaning the president, marshals, deputy marshals, the prime minister, deputy prime ministers, the most important ministers, because these are the highest representatives of power, then with absolute certainty there is nothing. A lie, an impudent lie and such an exploitation of their advantage in the media - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:45

Kaczyński:

They Managed to Create Something Like a Cult

- They are using this, they are using the fact that they managed to create something like a cult, a large group of people who completely disregard reality, do not notice reality, data, which is not our data, but data from various institutions that certainly do not favor our political option, like the World Bank, IMF, Eurostat, other organizations - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:46

Kaczyński:

If Tusk Comes to Power, We Will See Lampedusa in Poland

- We have a chance to avoid what will surely happen if Tusk comes to power. If Tusk comes to power, we will have to deal with Lampedusa in Poland - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:48

Kaczyński:

Tusk and Trzaskowski Share One Trait – An Innate Aversion to Work

- It's as if Tusk has tired himself out, and Warsaw's Mayor Trzaskowski is increasingly visible. These two gentlemen are somewhat different, and somewhat similar. They are similar in one thing – they have an innate aversion to work. And this is really not a good foundation for seeking high state offices – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:50

Kaczyński:

Rumours are circulating in Warsaw that around October 1st, Tusk will be replaced by Trzaskowski. It will be the same, just more of it

- All sorts of pretending, that even if it happens, I've already spoken about this in Elbląg, such rumours are circulating in Warsaw, at some point, probably around October 1st, one will be replaced by the other, meaning, just as Mrs. Kidawa-Błońska was replaced by Trzaskowski as a presidential candidate, this time he is supposed to replace Tusk as a candidate for prime minister. If you think this will be some kind of change, you are profoundly mistaken. It will be the same, just more of it - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:54

Kaczyński:

Tusk Has No Views, and Trzaskowski is a Lefty

- Tusk's program is Tusk. One day he's making crosses over bread, and the next day he calmly watches as Catholics need to be 'filed down' [a metaphor for curtailing their influence/rights]. One day it's about family, he even got married once after, I don't know, 74 years of marriage. Ha, ha, I'm joking here, of course, he's not that old, but after many years, decades of marriage, and at other times he's very anti-church, and in his 100 concrete points [a reference to Tusk's election promises], there are many elements attacking the Church. In short, he has no views, and the other one [Rafał Trzaskowski] is a lefty, who indeed seems to have it deep in his mind and perhaps even in his heart, and what he's doing in Warsaw points to this - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

13:57

Kaczyński:

A Regular War Rages Beyond Our Border, Requiring Societal Consolidation; Tusk Offers Division, Aggression, and Vulgar Language. This Began in 2005.

- Today, ladies and gentlemen, being a citizen means not only having rights, but of course also having obligations, but today these obligations have a special character. Because dear sirs and madams, we live today and elections will be held, meaning they will take place, in wartime. A regular, heavy war is raging beyond our border, and in such times, society must be consolidated (…) In such a situation, this consolidation is incredibly necessary, and what do we have from Tusk? Moreover, it's not a new phenomenon, it started back in 2005. Division, aggression, incredibly vulgar language, those eight stars. Denying a vast part of society, the majority of society, basic rights. It all started with those 'moher berets' – Jarosław Kaczyński said in Toruń.

14:00

Kaczyński:

What if Orlen and other energy/fuel companies were private? We'd face exorbitant prices, higher inflation, and immense misfortune.

- What would we have done if Orlen or other companies involved in energy or fuel production were in private hands? We would have faced gigantic prices. Much higher inflation. We would have faced one great misfortune. And thanks to the fact that it is now in state hands, at least for the most part, and often 100%, it was possible to act. It was possible to save ourselves, to carry out a series of pro-social actions. And despite this, these companies endured and remain in good shape - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Toruń.

14:40

Morawiecki:

Bread Was Kissed at the Civic Platform Convention, Only to End Up Near a Trash Can Later. Let All Farmers Keep This Sad Image in Mind.
- When I think of bread, I am reminded of all those beautiful Polish gestures, symbols, traditions, such as [...] kissing Polish bread or [...] making the sign of the cross over Polish bread before cutting it. These gestures and symbols came to my mind when I was thinking about the current political struggle, because a few days ago at the convention of our political opponents, the Civic Platform, bread was also kissed there. But a moment later, this bread ended up near a trash can - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the national holiday 'Grateful to the Polish Countryside' in Miętne. - Let all farmers keep that sad image in mind, because today we are in an era of a crucial political struggle that will also decide the future of the Polish countryside. And the Polish farmer, I am convinced of this, can separate the wheat from the political chaff better than anyone else - he continued.

14:58

Morawiecki:

I am convinced that the Polish countryside can answer: do we want a Poland with illegal immigrants, or a Poland with returning Polish emigrants?
- This is a question that is important for all of us here and now, and our future depends on the answer to it – will we be able to maintain our sovereignty ourselves, or will we act dictated by others, dictated by Berlin, Brussels, or anyone else? But remember, dear farmers and dear compatriots – there have never been cases in world history where those who were dominated by others, under the thumb of others, benefited from it. That never happens – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the nationwide festival ‘Grateful to the Polish Countryside’ in Miętne. - I am convinced that the Polish countryside perfectly understands what we expect from today’s politicians and that it can answer these questions: do we want a proud Poland, or a Poland that is incapacitated? Do we want a free Poland, or a Poland that is without will? Do we want a Poland with a strong, wonderful, prosperous Polish countryside, or a Poland that is poor and dependent on others? Do we want a Poland with illegal immigrants, or do we want a Poland with Polish emigrants returning to Poland? – he asked. - I know what kind of Poland the Polish countryside wants, but it is worth for all Polish farmers to say it out loud in their communes and powiats – he added.

Morawiecki:

Embargo to Last for Months, Quarters – Until a Cooperation Model with Ukraine is Developed

- Amidst these political shocks, today we have this large, powerful crisis in the grain market, a crisis that we defended the Polish farmer from on April 15th of this year, by introducing an embargo on Ukrainian grain. We introduced it independently, without anyone else's input, and issued an ultimatum to the European Union: you must implement a ban on the import of Ukrainian grain. And they did so shortly after our decision, but they did it with a deadline of September 15th - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the nationwide 'Grateful to Polish Countryside' festival in Miętne.

- Therefore, I can say today, here: [...] for over 12 hours, since midnight on September 16th, we have independently introduced this ban on the import of Ukrainian grain, regardless of the fact that the EU has not done so. We introduced it in accordance with our words. As I said a few days ago: either the EC extends the import ban, extends the embargo, or we ourselves will introduce an embargo for the coming months, for the coming quarters, until a model of cooperation with our eastern neighbor, Ukraine, is developed - he continued.

- When it was necessary, we opened our hearts, our homes to Ukrainian refugees, and we continue to do so. But when it is necessary to protect the Polish countryside, the Law and Justice (PiS) government does it and will continue to do so, because for us, the interest of the Polish farmer is paramount - he added.

Morawiecki:

Tusk and his henchman, the Judas of the Polish countryside, went to Brussels and got the cold shoulder
- The head of PO, Mr. Tusk, went with his henchman, the Judas of the Polish countryside, to Brussels. They pretended they would secure an extension of this embargo [on Ukrainian grain] for at least two months. [...] They were met with a cold shoulder there, because German interests are what primarily decide things in Brussels. That's why both Tusk and his henchman had to leave there empty-handed - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said during the nationwide 'Grateful to the Polish Countryside' celebration in Miętne. - How does this Tusk with his henchman-Judas look now, who were preening themselves as defenders of the Polish countryside? How do they look before you now? Both laughable and sad - he added. - Look at the lies Tusk resorted to. He said he would arrange the lifting of the ban on us receiving funds from the KPO - he achieved nothing. They boasted they would secure the extension of the embargo - they achieved nothing. And I can say that the KPO is already operational, pre-financed with our domestic Polish funds - he stressed.

Morawiecki:

Polish Farmers, We Apologize for All Stumbles and Our Mistakes. We Will Not Return to Them
- Dear Polish farmers, for all the stumbles, for our mistakes, we apologize. We will not return to them. For all mistakes and sins, we also apologize. Only those who do not try, who do not make decisions, do not make mistakes - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the nationwide festival 'Grateful to the Polish Countryside' in Miętne. - If you ask yourselves these questions that I mentioned - what Poland should be like and who fought for your interests during the most difficult crises: COVID, Putin's war, inflation, drought, and other cataclysms, then I think the answer will not be bad for us. I have such hope, because if it were otherwise, these liberals would already be sharpening their teeth to divide our country again, to tear pieces from the fabric of the Republic, like the old mockers, traitors. We cannot allow this, therefore I believe in the wisdom of Polish farmers, of the Polish countryside - he stated.

Kaczyński received a Kaczor mascot in Poznań:

You won’t be shouting – Down with Kaczor, the dictator.

- This is that dictator. But you won’t be shouting “Down with Kaczor, the dictator” - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

Kaczyński:

Their Entire Campaign is Based on One Great, Total Lie

- Today in Poland, they brazenly claim to be the main defenders. This is beyond all comprehension. Their entire campaign is based on one great, total lie. A lie where black is called white, and white is called black. It's truly some kind of sect, because they say all this, believing, and probably not entirely falsely believing, that a certain portion of people will accept it, that they will believe it. Because these are people now, through propaganda, through a certain television, through portals, completely detached from reality. They believe that it was we, and specifically I, who raised the retirement age. They believe that Poland is collapsing today, that everything will soon fall apart – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

17:53

Kaczyński:

They are not sovereign. We are a party that does not have to listen to Moscow, Berlin, or even Brussels

- They will destroy this system, they will take everything, be sure of that. They will take it because they want to take it, because these are their interests, these are their connections, also because they are not sovereign. We are a party that does not have to listen to Moscow, Berlin, or even Brussels - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

17:58

Kaczyński to the Undecided: Perhaps You Have Grievances with Us, Perhaps We Failed Somewhere, But Don't Be Deceived, Because What Was Will Return

- For the sake of our future, for the sake of everything that should be dear to every Pole, and I believe it is dear to the vast majority of Poles despite everything, even those who are lost, we must win. That is why we must tell the undecided: perhaps you have grievances with us, perhaps we failed somewhere, but don't be deceived, because what was will return. What was also against you, don't be foolish; we weren't perfect either, but even when it comes to various kinds of mistakes, we were able to admit to them - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

18:01

Kaczyński:

One Point in Our Program Was Overlooked – We Want to Abolish Immunities

- Our program is broken down into points, at least 150, but you could just as easily say 300. However, one of them, as if, wasn't noticed – the abolition of immunities. We want to abolish immunities. Precisely in the name of this principle, equality, and honesty – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

18:02

Kaczyński on Grodzki: This gentleman dares to appear on television and accuse us of grave abuses, when in reality it's about a completely trivial matter
- Recently, a certain politician, I'll call him that, and a doctor, he actually is a doctor... This gentleman, about whom dozens of people have testified that they paid for things they shouldn't have. Well, this gentleman dares to appear on television and accuse us of grave abuses, when in reality it's about a completely trivial matter. Of course, political conclusions must be drawn from it, and they have already been drawn, and conclusions stemming from the actions of the judiciary will certainly be drawn – stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

18:04

Kaczyński on Trzaskowski: An Extreme Leftist Destroying Polish Identity and Culture

- Do not believe him. This is another big lie. He is an extreme leftist who simply belongs to those who are destroying Polish identity, Polish culture. Moreover, they are destroying this beautiful European civilization, the most benevolent to humans in the history of the world. A civilization based on Christianity - stated Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

18:06

Kaczyński:

Our Task is to Ensure These People Don't Come to Power, So This Successful Experiment Can Continue

- Our task is to ensure that these people do not come to power, so that this experiment, this successful experiment, can be continued. It must be continued in the interest of the entire nation, including those who are against us, because they also benefit from it, or at least a very significant portion of them. Only some belong to those who benefited from the old system. A system that, among other things, allowed for a huge sphere of abuse, a huge sphere of transferring what is common into private hands – said Jarosław Kaczyński in Poznań.

Witek responds to Grodzki’s address in her own speech:

Lies cannot go unanswered.

Yesterday, the Speaker of the Senate, in an unprecedented manner, used the tool of a state address to attempt to lie to and mislead Poles. The ongoing election campaign does not absolve us politicians of responsibility, and above all, of decency. Lies cannot go unanswered — stated Elżbieta Witek in her address.

I appeal to you, so that we do not fall for these dirty tricks. Donald Tusk wants to evade answering a simple question: Will he agree to any participation of Poland in the EU’s mandatory relocation mechanism for migrants? To escape this, he is already announcing that he will invalidate the referendum in which it is asked — emphasized the Marshal of the Sejm. Below is the full text of the speech.

Yesterday, the Speaker of the Senate, in an unprecedented manner, used the tool of a state address to attempt to lie to and mislead Poles. The ongoing election campaign does not absolve us politicians of responsibility, and above all, of decency.

Lies cannot go unanswered.

The migration crisis has returned to Europe with doubled force. Illegal immigrants, most often young, able-bodied men, are storming the coasts of Italy, Greece, and other Mediterranean countries. They want to reach Western European Union countries because the EU, through its open-door policy – pursued by Chancellor Angela Merkel and implemented by Brussels bureaucracy, including Donald Tusk and his European party EPP – has encouraged them to do so. Just as it encouraged them with the proposal for mandatory relocation, which was undoubtedly an important cause of the new invasion of illegal immigrants into Europe.

As a result, a regular invasion of the island of Lampedusa is currently underway. Yesterday, I returned from a visit to Rome. I spoke with many politicians, and this matter is their top priority; there are no more important topics. Other EU countries, Germany, France, and Austria, are introducing border control procedures, fearing that the crisis will quickly spread to their countries as well.

What is the Polish opposition doing at this time? It is misleading Poles. It is feeding the public opinion with a matter blown up to immense proportions regarding the alleged issuance of work visas in violation of procedures. A clear explanation and correction of the opposition’s manipulation is needed here – it was the Polish state and its agencies that detected the danger of procedural violations. Despite the lack of formal charges against individuals potentially involved, swift and decisive consequences were drawn. The matter is being meticulously clarified; the state acted efficiently to cut off alleged irregularities. But these facts hold no significance for the opposition. To distract from the real problem, namely the invasion of illegal immigrants into Europe, the opposition and its allied media centers are unleashing a whole machinery of lies and hate against the government. It is shameful that a person with serious legal issues themselves is publicly speaking on this matter.

It is worth asking: why are they doing this? Donald Tusk is trying to distract attention from the fact that, hand in hand with the then-Chancellor of Germany, he was the architect of this dangerous policy, which allowed for the virtually uncontrolled entry of illegal immigrants. Donald Tusk spoke of penalties for Poland for refusing to agree to their forced relocation to our country. His party colleague, Ewa Kopacz, breaking the solidarity of the Visegrád Group countries, agreed to this mechanism, and her spokesperson assured that “we are ready to accept any number”.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk is nothing more than Lampedusa in Poland. If Tusk were ruling today, Polish women would not leave their homes after dark, and parents would be afraid to send their children alone to school or to the swimming pool. Cars would be set ablaze on Polish streets, and traveling by public transport would require considerable courage. Districts of fear would not be cinematic fiction, but the reality faced by cities in France or Sweden. This is the Poland they wanted. Today, before the elections, they are doing everything to push this issue into the background. They are creating media manipulations solely to divert attention from their past actions, as well as their future plans. Tusk’s return means chaos and danger for Poles. Such were his governments! We must not give him a second chance to repeat the same mistakes.

I appeal to you, so that we do not fall for these dirty tricks. Donald Tusk wants to evade answering a simple question: Will he agree to any participation of Poland in the EU’s mandatory relocation mechanism for migrants? To escape this, he is already announcing that he will invalidate the referendum in which it is asked.

Ladies and Gentlemen, let us not allow the voice and decisions of Poles on such a fundamental issue as security to be ignored. It is worth trusting those who are credible and keep their word. Those who, through their actions so far, have proven that they guarantee a secure future and that it will be Poles who decide what kind of Poland they want.
