PiS Presents its Third Programmatic Proposal:
This Change Affects Every Pole.
- This change affects every Pole because every one of us loves tasty, healthy Polish food. That's why we are introducing the "Local Shelf" program. We will oblige retail chains to cooperate with local food producers. No more low-quality vegetables and fruits. No more profit at all costs. The most important must be the quality of food and the health of customers - says Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski in a recording shared by PiS on social media.
- Farmers will gain because they will have easy access to local markets, without intermediaries, with low transportation costs for goods. More money will remain in their pockets. Customers will gain because they will have better access to fresh and tasty products, and their money will stay in their immediate vicinity. It will be possible to check on receipts which country a product comes from - he continues.
PiS proposes that at least 2/3 of fruits, vegetables, dairy and meat products, and bread in supermarkets should come from local suppliers.
3⃣ konkret PiS to program „Lokalna półka”, czyli obowiązek, aby markety w swojej ofercie miały minimum 2/3 owoców, warzyw, produktów mlecznych i mięsnych oraz pieczywa pochodzących od lokalnych dostawców. Wzmocni to pozycję lokalnych dostawców względem innych ogniw łańcucha… pic.twitter.com/GT3FlScGPz

- To whip up anti-migrant hysteria, bring in a record number of migrants, make millions on visas, and finally, to hold a referendum on migration. Lukashenko is an amateur compared to them - Donald Tusk wrote on Twitter.
Rozpętać antymigrancką histerię, ściągnąć rekordową ilość migrantów, zarobić miliony na wizach, a na koniec rozpisać referendum w sprawie migracji. Łukaszenka to przy nich amator.

It's Worth Correcting the Fake News Spread by PO
- It's worth correcting this fake news that is being spread by PO politicians, claiming that energy prices in Poland are among the highest. This is untrue. It is precisely thanks to the decisions made and the introduction of the energy shield that energy prices in Poland have been frozen - stated Andrzej Śliwka on Polsat News' "Grafitti".
- We are working on it. Moreover, it has been repeatedly stated by Minister Sasin, Prime Minister Sasin, that we will not leave Polish families to fend for themselves. In the fourth quarter, there will be [proposals] - the Deputy Head of MAP continued.

- Today at 9:30 AM, a meeting will take place between Prime Minister Morawiecki, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Robert Telus, and representatives of other ministries. The meeting is connected with the informal Council of the EU for Agriculture that concluded yesterday. Further actions aimed at securing the Polish agricultural market after September 15 will be discussed during this meeting - informed government spokesperson Piotr Müller on Twitter.

Tusk Behaves Like an Internet Hater
- Donald Tusk is behaving like an internet hater. If we look at the migration policy in Poland, the information disseminated by Civic Platform (PO) turned out to be a lie. The Ministry of Interior and Administration has been correcting these lies related to admissions, because it's a confusion of a visa application with an admission, and often these applications were submitted multiple times, in many places – stated Andrzej Śliwka in "Grafitti" on Polsat News.
08:58
- If someone runs from a different committee than the one formed by the PSL, the procedure for their exclusion automatically begins; they are effectively excluded from the ranks of PSL members. He broke the Senate Pact, so he cannot be a member of the PSL because he is running from a different electoral committee than the one the PSL is running from in these elections. This was information, there was a signature collection, but this is an individual decision. This decision entails the end of his career in the PSL - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Gość Radia Zet'.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:
PSL's 3 Guarantees for Safe Agriculture and Consumers
- PSL's 3 guarantees for safe agriculture and consumers. Firstly, blocking uncontrolled grain and other product inflows from Ukraine, increasing agricultural production in Poland and Europe, no restrictions, appreciating active farmers. This is a real program for agriculture. It's good that PiS is implementing not only our demands, but also a postulate written into the KPO. Shortening the supply chain. I didn't realize that in this campaign, a love for the EU would come from PiS's lips - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on the program "Gość Radia Zet".

"Local Shelf" is Heading Towards Having Processing, Our Small Polish Ones Will Be Much Better
- I've said this many times, that this is how it is. Precisely because in Poland we have large [food] concerns and they decide on product prices, and that is the biggest thing. And that's why this "local shelf" is also heading in this direction, so that we have processing, our small Polish ones. Our Polish, small processing will be much better. We lost this during the transformation, when we were being introduced to the EU, Polish processing was squandered, sold off - said Robert Telus on the program "Sygnały Dnia".
09:12
Telus:
If the EU Makes Political Decisions, the Interests of Polish Farmers Are More Important to Us
- If the decision to extend the [ban on grain imports from Ukraine] had been made by agriculture ministers, they would have certainly extended it. Because agriculture ministers understand the issue and speak factually. Therefore, everyone I spoke with understood the problem that here in this part of Europe – we are talking about these five frontline countries – this ban must be extended. But you know, I am now convinced that this decision is a political decision, not a substantive one, and I don't know what decision the European Commission will make – said Robert Telus in the program 'Sygnały Dnia' (Signals of the Day).
- If [the ban on Ukrainian grain imports] is lifted, we will. I have said this many times, but I will repeat it once more. We will introduce our own, and I told the ministers this yesterday as well: if we are fighting for European solidarity, we should extend it. Because we care about European solidarity, but if the EU makes political decisions, the interests of Polish farmers are more important to us – he added.

- On the one hand, PiS terrifies us with migrants, but on the other, they hand out thousands of work permits and visas for migrants from Muslim countries. It turns out that there might also be corruption in the background, hence the resignation of Minister Wawrzyk. Today, we are coming once again to demand this data, today we are coming to ask about the great corruption affair connected with this practice – said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- The scale of this practice is gigantic. These 135,000 work permits were most likely issued in 2022 or 2023. I say or 2023 because officials from this ministry tell us directly – the system is inefficient, sometimes it takes months for these political orders to be implemented, but we issue them on an ongoing basis – he continued.
- Today, the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) is dealing with this matter, but if you think that it is dealing with this matter in order to clarify it, nothing could be further from the truth. Today, the CBA is dealing with this matter in order to withhold information from the public for these last few weeks until the elections (…) We will extract this data from this ministry and show the scale of PiS's hypocrisy and the scale of the scam – he stated.

The Civic Coalition has presented a new advertisement that includes references to the program proposals presented by PiS (Law and Justice party) in recent days. The recipient of the words spoken in the recording is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
- Hello Mateusz, it's me, Poland. The PiS government has been ruling me for eight years, but it's clear we still don't know each other well. I've managed without you, although money from the EU, which you're mindlessly blocking, would greatly help me with the thermal modernization of buildings, which you supposedly worry so much about [...] You want better meals in hospitals? Then why have you been serving stale bread for eight years [...] Suddenly you started caring about farmers? So where were you when illegal grain was flooding Poland? - says the narrator.
- After eight years, you remembered that you need to take care of everyone, not just your own. Interesting, what will you remember tomorrow - she continues.

We will retrieve this data; it exposes the scale of PiS's lies and, most importantly, the dangers this government brings upon Poles
- We agreed to conduct a parliamentary oversight here. This oversight will have another dimension; we have simultaneously requested oversight at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. There, we were informed that they have nothing to do with it. Well, it's evident that Morawiecki has completely lost control of what's happening in his government, but we were told that the Minister of the Interior has all the data, I emphasize, has it. Tomorrow, we will go with oversight to the Ministry of the Interior. We will cross-reference this data and retrieve it. Because it exposes the scale of PiS's lies, but above all, the scale of the danger that this government is bringing upon Poles - said Marcin Kierwiński at a press conference in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

ORLEN Group will offer clients new services related to the collection and management of industrial carbon dioxide emissions. CO2 storage in Poland, including beneath the Baltic Sea, will be crucial for maintaining the competitiveness of the national industry in sectors burdened by high emission costs. To develop these services, ORLEN Group intends to leverage experience gained in the Barents Sea. The concern has signed an agreement with Norway's Horisont Energi AS regarding potential cooperation on one of the most advanced CO2 storage projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
"Effective and safe carbon dioxide storage is key to maintaining the competitiveness of industries exposed to high emission-related costs. The metallurgical, fertilizer, and cement industries, if they wish to continue operating in Poland, or more broadly, in the European Union, must find a way to manage carbon dioxide emissions. In line with ORLEN Group's strategy, within a few years, we will build strong competencies in comprehensive industrial emissions management. The experience we aim to gather off the coast of Norway will also be utilized in Poland. It will allow us to effectively implement proven and safe technologies and prepare a competitive offer for Polish industry. In practice, this means lower costs for Polish enterprises and the preservation of thousands of jobs in Poland," says Daniel Obajtek, CEO of ORLEN S.A.
ORLEN Group's strategy anticipates that by 2030, the concern will have the capacity to store or manage 3 million tons of carbon dioxide annually. This potential will be used to reduce its own emissions and to provide carbon management services to external entities. Carbon capture and storage or utilization is one of the solutions that will allow ORLEN to reduce emissions related to its refining, petrochemical, and extraction activities by 25% by the end of 2030.
In turn, ORLEN's carbon management service will primarily benefit those industries that are major CO2 emitters but have limited opportunities to reduce their carbon footprint due to technological reasons. These include cement plants, metallurgy, and the chemical industry, especially fertilizer production. For companies in these sectors, the possibility of CO2 storage may be the most effective way to reduce emissions and thus lower the costs associated with purchasing CO2 emission allowances.
Norway is a leader in the development of carbon capture and storage technologies. As early as 1996, the capture and reinjection of CO2 from gas production at the Sleipner field into subsea geological formations began. Injection is also conducted at the Snøhvit field. These are the only currently operational projects of this type in Europe.
ORLEN Group has signed a letter of intent with the Norwegian company Horisont Energi AS, the holder of a license for the Polaris field, where a well confirming the possibility of safe CO2 injection has already been drilled. According to the agreement, PGNiG Upstream Norway, a Norwegian subsidiary of ORLEN Group with experience in field management gained through oil and natural gas exploration and production activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, will acquire up to a 50% stake in the license and the role of operator of the Polaris field.
"Joining forces with ORLEN Group is a milestone for us in the area of emission reduction and building the foundations for the carbon storage industry. ORLEN Group is a solid, specialized partner with extensive experience operating on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The partnership formed should help us in the development of the clean ammonia production project by ensuring the availability of CO2 storage capacity. We are very pleased to be joining forces with such an experienced and competent team," says Gabriel Clemens, Chairman of the Board of Horisont Energi, CEO of E.ON Green Gas.
The capacity of the Polaris field is estimated at approximately 100 million tons of carbon dioxide in total, which will enable storage operations for 12-25 years. PGNiG Upstream Norway has already conducted technical and economic analyses of the Polaris project and is preparing to commence detailed due diligence. The schedule for a potential investment assumes the selection of a development concept in 2024 and the commencement of injection at the turn of 2028 and 2029.
The partner in the Polaris project, Horisont Energi, aims to launch ammonia production plants in northern Norway using hydrogen produced from natural gas. This process generates significant amounts of carbon dioxide, which Horisont Energi plans to store to reduce emissions. As a result, the CO2 injection project into the Polaris field, in which ORLEN Group is participating, will have guaranteed demand for the offered service. The remaining storage capacity will be made available to external entities. For logistical reasons, these will primarily be companies operating in Norway.
The Norwegian Continental Shelf is one of the key foreign markets where ORLEN Group operates. Through the Baltic Pipe pipeline, the concern can supply over 8 billion cubic meters of Norwegian gas annually to Poland, with a growing share of its own extraction. By the end of 2030, the concern aims to increase gas production from its Norwegian fields to approximately 6 billion cubic meters per year. This will mean an almost twofold increase compared to 2022, when production amounted to 3.5 billion cubic meters. As a result of the integration of ORLEN Group's Norwegian assets, previously belonging to PGNiG and LOTOS, which concluded in May this year, the concern is now among the top ten largest players in this market in terms of oil and gas reserves and production levels.

This committee, if it is established, will be entirely compliant with the constitution and the rules of procedure of the Senate. Unlike the committee established by the Sejm, which appointed a committee of people who are beyond punishment, exempt from all responsibility. I would like to emphasize that if this committee is established, it will be a completely legal committee, a special Senate committee to investigate these influences. This is the planned agenda.
