Borys:

No Talk of Recession in Poland Given Lowest Unemployment Rate in EU and History, Employment Growth, Real Wage Increases (11.9% Nominally), and Investments
There is no talk of recession in Poland given that we currently have the lowest unemployment rate in the EU and in history, employment growth, real wage increases (nominally 11.9%), and investments, as well as a strong Zloty - wrote Paweł Borys, President of PFR.

The Left Appeals to the Rest of the Opposition: "We Must Be Certain"
– Today, as the Left, we would like to appeal to everyone preparing electoral lists within the democratic opposition, proposing candidates. We are appealing for no candidate, male or female, to be included on these lists who, when it comes to voting, for example on the issue of the right to abortion, will vote against this right. We must be certain that the right to decide about a woman's life and health will finally be guaranteed in Poland in 2023 – said Robert Biedroń during the Left's convention.

Biedroń:

PiS and Confederation are One Evil, No Difference Between Them
– In this civilizational choice, we must answer the question of whether we want to continue integrating with the European Union, or whether we want to be a Poland that will be an important player in the European Union […] when it comes to values, today the Left differs in everything from PiS and the Confederation, this brown-and-fascistizing coalition, which may soon take power and lead us out of the European Union. I will remind you, they called the European Union a euro-collective farm, they said that the European Union is a rag to them, that they don't want the European Union because it is a source of fascism for them. PiS and the Confederation, the Confederation and PiS, one evil, there is no difference between them – said Robert Biedroń during the Left convention.

Biedroń:

In these elections, we will be the third political force
– Our ambition, and we are saying this clearly and explicitly today, is to be the third political force in these elections, because it is the third political force that will provide the answer to who will govern Poland: whether it will be PiS with Konfederacja, or the democratic opposition. Left, this is our task from today, in these elections we will be the third political force, and after these elections, we will decide whether Poland will move towards Western Europe or towards Putin – said Robert Biedroń during the Left's convention.

Morawiecki:

For 25 Years Under the Third Republic, Large Social Groups Were Marginalized and Pushed to the Fringe
A special time is approaching, we all realize this, and seniors, those with the most life experience, realize it particularly well. Therefore, during this exceptional period, alongside the best wishes I wanted to convey to our grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, I also want to speak about the matter of memory. Because memory is extremely important, it is crucial, it is sometimes too fleeting, and it is so vital for making the right decisions, for making the right choices. These include choices that lie ahead of us, which will concern the safe life, the safe future of Polish women and men, seniors, but also younger generations, and I would like to refresh this memory a bit, to bring it back – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Waplewo Wielkie. – This is a special time when some are trying very cleverly to carry out various propaganda maneuvers and, through a smokescreen, to obscure everything that came before. I will therefore remind you of some of what came before, because it is extremely important to refresh memory and to make the right choices. Indeed, for 25 years under the Third Republic, large social groups were marginalized, pushed to the fringe. These were, for example, farmers or the elderly, retirees, with their starvation-level indexations. Wasn't that pushing them to the fringe? It was. Or people with disabilities, people who worked in large factories, which were so often sold off, liquidated during the Third Republic. Then a person was left alone with their problem, with their family, without the possibility of making ends meet. Often forced into emigration, into unemployment, on precarious contracts. That was the reality until quite recently – he continued.

Morawiecki:

We Had to Fix a Budget as Full of Holes as Swiss Cheese. Tusk's Liberals Ran Out of Money, So They Took the OFE
– We had to fix a budget as full of holes as Swiss cheese. You know perfectly well that when someone regularly siphons money from this budget, as Tusk's liberals did, using the 'grandchild scam' method, there's a lack of money in the budget, which is why they took the OFE, meaning pension plans, because they were missing. We fixed this budget, which is why we introduced and continue to regularly provide, and will continue to provide as long as voters trust us, permanent 13th and 14th pensions for seniors – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Waplewo Wielkie.

Morawiecki:

We Fixed Public Finances, Took Huge Sums from VAT Mafias and Tax Criminals, and We're Giving Them to Seniors
We fixed public finances, we took huge sums of money from VAT mafias and tax criminals, and we are giving it to seniors. So, securing this life materially is our, my great commitment, and we will continue it, because this is not yet a finished matter – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Waplewo Wielkie.

Morawiecki:

During the PO era, doctors left for abroad. Today, they are increasingly coming from abroad
During the Civic Platform (PO) era, doctors were leaving for abroad. Today, more and more are coming from abroad, as are nurses. They used to go abroad, now they increasingly come to Poland from abroad to treat Polish seniors. Therefore, the entire healthcare system is being repaired by us precisely with you, dear seniors, in mind – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Waplewo Wielkie.

Morawiecki:

Remember Who Spoke of 'Mohair Berets,' Who Said 'Take Away Grandma's ID'
– Remember who spoke of 'mohair berets,' who said 'take away grandma's ID,' who expressed themselves with contempt and disdain for the elderly, speaking of 'mohair coalitions.' We must remember this, because today they will present different versions of events and different programs, promising mountains of gold, but then these mountains of gold will give birth to a mouse. Nothing will come of these mountains of gold; they will burst like soap bubbles if, God forbid, they politically come to power – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Waplewo Wielkie.

PSL Presents "The Real Referendum Questions"
– We want to ask four real referendum questions that Poles are asking about […] Are you in favour of stopping the uncontrolled influx of grain and food products from Ukraine at the expense of Polish farmers and posing a threat to Polish consumers? […] Are you in favour of exempting pensions from health contributions and taxes? […] Are you in favour of introducing voluntary Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) contributions, ZUS holidays for small businesses, for entrepreneurs? […] Are you in favour of universal, full access funded by the state budget to in vitro methods, to infertility treatment? – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

12:13

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

We Must Ask Morawiecki Why He Agreed in Brussels to Raising the Retirement Age
– We need to ask Prime Minister Morawiecki why he signed off in Brussels to raising the real retirement age, not the statutory one, but the one at which Poles actually retire […] why he included this in the milestones and will implement it, and why he didn't introduce tax-free pensions, why he didn't exempt pensioners from contributions and taxes they have already paid? – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press conference.

A New PiS Campaign Spot:

Don't Let Him Take Your Vote Away.

– Don't let him take your vote away – this is the message of the new campaign spot, published over the weekend by the ruling party on Twitter. PiS counters four questions, presented by leading politicians of this grouping, with words from the opposition leader about annulling the referendum.

Czarzasty to Kaczyński: 1.8 Million Poles Live in Extreme Poverty, Tell Them About Security
– I wanted to refer today to the slogan "A Secure Future for Poles," which Mr. Kaczyński announced yesterday. Sir, 1.8 million Poles live in extreme poverty, including 350,000 children. Extreme poverty means less than PLN 600 per person in a family. Tell these people about the social security of families. Poland is short of 1.5 million apartments, 1.2 million apartments have no bathrooms, 6.5 million apartments have no gas, 2.5 million apartments have no central heating. Tell Poles about housing security – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during the Left Congress. – 13.8 million people in Poland have no access to public transport, 300,000 PKS connections have been liquidated in the last six years. Tell Poles they have transport security. We pay exorbitant amounts for medicine, huge sums. Yesterday, Mr. Kaczyński, I bought my medication, here is the receipt: PLN 685.87. This is the receipt Poles pay for medication. Today, ask your colleagues what medicine I bought and what I am sick with. They know it, you know it well. And if they don't know from the system, ask your colleagues who operate Pegasus and tell Poles that they are not being wiretapped and that they have full security – he continued. – Tell all Polish men and women about the negative natural increase, about people living shorter lives, about the fact that since World War II, the fewest children are being born right now. Tell these Polish men and women that they are safe and live in a safe country […] Also tell Polish men and women that you know how to get money from the KPO from the European Union. We have 230 laws [submitted by the Left to the Sejm]; if these laws were implemented, we would truly be safe – he continued.
