– You are shamelessly lying, you would want to privatize Lotos, Orlen, you would want to privatize airports, seaports, airports, everything. They want to privatize Orlen, their expert Grabowski, Balcerowicz want to sell, and they talk about Lotos. Lotos became part of the large Orlen group, thanks to which the share of the State Treasury, of Poles, increased from about 25% to 50% – stated Przemysław Czarnek in the Sejm.

– If it weren't for the elections, there would be no referendum, there would be no referendum, there would be no questions. Because what did they do in 2017? They rejected 910 signatures from citizens under ZNP's motion to hold a referendum on your failed education reform – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in the Sejm.

– The first question we would propose, if you accept these four proposals, is that we will withdraw the fifth question. If you do not accept them, we will only ask the fifth question – are you in favour of stopping the uncontrolled import of grain and food from Ukraine that is destroying Polish agriculture and threatening Polish consumers. This is a timely question – he continued.

– We have seen how you listen to women who took to the streets by the hundreds of thousands to defend their right to abortion. We have seen how you listen to people with disabilities when you barred them from the Sejm committee when matters concerning their lives were being discussed. We have seen, Minister Czarnek, how you listen to scientists, academics, representatives of parents, children, and students when you were demolishing Polish science and the education system. That's why PiS will spend millions from the state budget on a referendum campaign, because you need to somehow convince Poles that you do listen to them after all – said Magdalena Biejat during a Sejm session.

– A referendum should be a serious matter. A referendum serves to discuss key issues. We approved the Polish Constitution in a referendum. In a referendum, we voted for Poland to join the European Union. Those were referendums, those were celebrations of democracy. What you are proposing today is not a referendum at all, but a political stunt for party infighting – she continued.

– One only needs to look at the questions [...] they resemble a poor poll prepared by an inferior research firm [...] “do you support the sale of state assets to foreign entities, leading to Poles losing control over strategic sectors of the economy.” So, the sale of state assets for peanuts is okay, as long as Mr. Kulczyk, Mr. Bierecki, or another billionaire who happens to have a Polish passport profits. Moreover, selling to foreign entities is also okay, as long as it's in installments. This question means nothing, it doesn't bind the hands of the authorities at all, it completely fails to protect Polish assets from being sold off [...] On October 15th, we have one important vote, and that is the vote for the Polish parliament – she went on to say.

– Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this referendum is invalid, and you know why. It is invalid because it is indecent, because it is a way to illegally finance your election campaign, but above all, because of how you treat Poles. You treat Poles according to your chief ideologue Mr. Kurski's doctrine that the ignorant masses will buy anything. No, they won't buy everything, and they won't buy Mr. Czarnek's lies – said Marcin Kierwiński during a Sejm session.

– Now let's talk about these questions, about the sale, as you call it, of national assets. Why didn't you ask Poles when you gave away for free, when you gave away the Polish refinery for free? Why didn't you ask Poles about it then, you gave away this refinery for the value of 3 months' profit from this refinery, not 3 years', not 30 years', 3 months', you gave it away and didn't ask Poles – he stated.

– Yes, no one is forcing us into forced migration, no one except the PiS government. Because it was the PiS government that prepared a scandalous regulation that was supposed to easily let everyone into our market. In 2022, you let 135,000 migrants from Muslim countries into Poland (...) You are bringing in both legal and illegal migrants, you are the most pro-migrant government since '89 – he summarized.

– But you are not even able to defend the Polish border. You lose missiles, you lose helicopters, you lose bomb fuses, you lose everything, because you are bunglers – he added.

– Because this is exactly how you want to bypass election campaign financing through a loophole, but you won't succeed. Poles will answer one fundamental question. Do you want this band of failures, this band of people who are plundering Poland, to continue to rule, and Poles will overwhelmingly say no, on October 15th we will chase away Kaczyński, Morawiecki, and you too, Mr. Czarnek – he said.

– Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to begin with words to our voters, all formations that create the Senate pact. We will run from different committees, but none of our formations will obstruct each other in these Senate elections. We are repeating what was a success in 2019. It is a great matter that you trusted us then and entrusted the reins of the Senate to the democratic opposition – said Władysław Kosiniak Kamysz at a press conference regarding the Senate pact.

– I ask our voters for their support and we support all candidates of the Senate pact. Do not be deceived by various Pharisees who will impersonate us or sow confusion. There is a clear choice in every Senate electoral district, there is only one person representing the Senate pact, only one person will represent the Senate pact within our common agreements – he added.
