Innovations and new technologies developed in scientific laboratories largely need to be commercialized to begin improving our everyday lives. A Polish institution that connects the worlds of science and business is the Łukasiewicz Research Network – we ask our guest precisely about the application model that ŁRN implements. We touch upon, among other things, the insufficient innovativeness of Polish enterprises. Jakub Kaczmarski explains what ŁRN is doing to address this problem, also thanks to funds from the European Union. We also discuss solutions already being implemented that have been successfully commercialized with the institution's assistance. These include solutions from the field of microelectronics – it turns out that Poland has significant potential when it comes to semiconductor production, the scarcity of which we are all feeling in the market today.
