“The most important words I repeated in every city were these: ‘We need to focus on the most crucial problems: health, safety in hospitals and schools, and saving jobs.’ The current government loves staging spectacles, looking for culprits everywhere but within its own ranks, yet it is helpless when it comes to dealing with the epidemic” – said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the inauguration of his movement.

„This morning, I asked myself if now is the time to initiate a political movement. And I answer: despite the epidemic, yes, precisely now, at a moment when today’s authorities are failing to control the situation, cooperation from all who care about Poland is necessary. Today, the Prime Minister and the President, instead of accusing doctors, instead of disregarding teachers, should first and foremost thank them, give us hope, and mobilize us to work. Instead of multiplying mutual grievances, they should unite us for common work” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, during the inauguration of his movement.

„We are forming a movement whose goal is to define a decalogue of issues on which we all see eye to eye. We are forming a movement that wants a Poland where the end never justifies the means, a Poland where law is the foundation of the state's actions. The law always comes first, even if it contradicts the interests of those in power. A Poland where everyone has the same rights and obligations, regardless of nationality, religion, political views, origin, or sexual orientation. A Poland where the authorities act with the needs of both rural inhabitants and residents of small and large cities in mind. A Poland where public media inform, educate, instruct, and entertain without hypocrisy, lies, and manipulation. A Poland where love for the homeland and care for Polish culture and tradition do not contradict the European Union. A Poland where politicians focus primarily on solving concrete problems” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, during the inauguration of his movement.

“I have decided that our movement will be called 'Common Poland'. Why? Because I simply believe in a common Poland. So much divides us today, one might get the impression that we have divided permanently, but I believe there are values and ideas that are common to us. Today, in the face of the epidemic, it is a time for uniting around a common cause, and the government, as usual, has found enemies and continues to scare and look for culprits” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, during the inauguration of his movement.

„Today, we are already over 10,000. In just a few days, we've grown larger than many political parties in Poland, and this is just the beginning, we are only starting to act. We are most numerous in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, and Poznan” - said the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the inauguration of his movement.

“I will ask all of you to join in our common efforts. We'll start by asking our neighbors what bothers and hurts them. In the next step, we will train hundreds of volunteers, utilizing the potential of trust husbands and wives from the last campaign as well, and together with specialists, we will prepare a major social diagnosis. We will find what connects us. We will create a decalogue of a common Poland, values, desires, dreams that are common to Polish women and men. We will try not to divide, but to unite” - said the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the inauguration of his movement.

"It is time to professionalize politics, to equip the opposition with knowledge and the instruments necessary to win elections, analytical backing, online platforms, databases, instruments needed to debunk the propaganda machine of the authorities. It is necessary to create a network of connections between politicians, social organizations, and experts, especially in the field, where reaching the opposition's message is more difficult" - said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the inauguration of the Common Poland Movement.

“Observing the activities of young people, I notice that they are often deprived of support, especially financial. I would like to offer them all a grant fund. Any youth group, even an informal one, that would like to organize a happening, training, or information campaign in their local area can turn to us. The regulations are available on our website. We will provide grants with minimal formalities, ranging from one thousand to five thousand zlotys, because young people are the best ambassadors for climate issues. They will help us effectively convince society that we must care for the Earth, and they will keep us politicians in check,” said the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, during the inauguration of the Common Poland Movement.

“The Common Poland Movement, whose inauguration was attended by the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, focuses on youth and their role in promoting climate action. Trzaskowski announced a new grant program aimed at supporting youth initiatives.

The program will offer grants ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 PLN to support activities such as local happenings, training sessions, and information campaigns organized by youth groups. The Mayor emphasized that the application process will be streamlined to ensure minimal bureaucracy.

Trzaskowski highlighted the crucial role of young people in raising awareness about climate change and advocating for environmental protection. He expressed his belief that youth are the most effective communicators on climate issues and can help mobilize public support for climate action. Furthermore, he acknowledged that young people can serve as a vital watchdog, holding politicians accountable for their environmental commitments.

The inauguration of the Common Poland Movement marks a significant step towards empowering young people and fostering their engagement in addressing the climate crisis. The grant program is expected to stimulate a wide range of youth-led environmental projects across the country.
