At 11:00 AM, the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will consider the amendment to the Animal Protection Act, commonly known as the "Five for Animals." This will be a continuation of the session held at the end of September. The Senate is scheduled to address the bill next Tuesday.

At 2:15 PM, a press conference will be held in Krakow with the Chairman of Civic Platform, Borys Budka, alongside parliamentary representatives from Małopolska.

At 2:30 PM, a government session will commence. The agenda includes a draft amendment to the Public Roads Act, as well as a draft act on the handling of customer complaints and disputes concerning financial market entities and the Financial Education Fund.

- I think that what the coronavirus has taught us in recent months is, above all, that not everything can be predicted. We are learning more and more about this disease, and the whole world is gaining more knowledge thanks to the scientific research conducted in recent months. Therefore, if the restrictions that we are currently introducing are adhered to, there is a chance to slow down the disease's progression in the coming weeks. On the other hand, let's remember that we do not want to introduce a second lockdown, we do not want to restrict the economy as much as it was in March or April, because we also want society and the economy to function in parallel – said Piotr Müller in an interview with Grzegorz Jankowski on "Sygnały dnia" on Polish Radio's Jedynka.

- As the Prime Minister announced, we are considering various restrictions in different areas. It's not just about schools, but in such a way that it doesn't hit the economy hard at the same time. Meaning, restrictions that have the character of limiting the spread of the epidemic, but on the other hand, do not hit the economy as hard as it was in March or April - said Piotr Müller in an interview with Jedynka radio.



- We are analyzing whether to introduce these limits concerning various spaces, so that the gathering of large numbers of people does not actually take place. However, as I say, we first want to see what the situation looks like after the introduction of these restrictions - he added.

- For now, we are not considering such matters at all [regarding the introduction of a state of natural disaster]. We are acting based on the Act on Prevention and Combating Epidemics. Based on this act, the Minister of Health or the Council of Ministers issue regulations. Similar to the regulation that will be in effect from tomorrow, which covers the entire country as a so-called yellow zone, and these are sufficient legal grounds - stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on 'Trójka Salon Polityczny' (Political Salon of Trójka).

The pandemic is not an individual matter, it's not a matter for one party or another. It's ultimately not a matter for the voters of one party or another. It concerns all of us, and it should be in all our interests to overcome this threat as quickly as possible, and at the same time, it should be in all our interests not to harm others. And here I can only repeat the appeal. Yesterday I heard an appeal from Professor Zembala, a former Minister of Health from the PO governments, so an individual who cannot be accused of PiS inclinations and someone quite credible to our political competitors, who appealed for precisely the same thing: not to make the pandemic a political issue, to recognize it as a supra-political, nationwide matter. I can only sign under this appeal – stated Radosław Fogiel in a conversation with Beata Michniewicz in "Trójka Political Salon."

- First and foremost, it must be free from all sides. We are willing to talk and cooperate, but so far, unfortunately, and I say this with regret, a large part of the opposition, especially that under the Civic Coalition banner, is using the pandemic – and I say 'using' with full awareness – solely to attack the government. I understand that the role of the opposition is criticism and I am not offended by it, but this kind of political exploitation of the pandemic is inappropriate – stated Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

- Preparations for the congress are currently underway, technical, I would say, and documentation, as well as district conventions that elect delegates. The conventions were conducted in such a way as to not put anyone at risk. - A statistical division, yes, it's a step, but it's insufficient. We are talking here about separate administrative entities. - We absolutely uphold this decision. In my opinion, it will not be linked to the necessity of elections for regional assemblies throughout Poland. There will only be elections, if at all, within the territory of today's Mazovian voivodeship - emphasized the Deputy Spokesperson for PiS.

"No one, absolutely no one, will be left without help by the Polish government. We are aware that the entire world, and with it Poland, is facing a very dangerous epidemic. "Another lockdown is out of the question. It's not just about the economy's condition. It's also about the fact that threatening the economy again would deprive us of funds, resources necessary for the functioning of healthcare, not to mention other state tasks, such as ensuring security. The government is implementing a very well-thought-out strategy to stay one step ahead of the virus," said Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Gowin on TVP1.

- There was a difficult situation, he visited his grandmother, absolutely adhering to all sanitary regime rules. I imagine he was wearing a mask, did not contact other people. - If there is a situation, I work shifts myself, if there is a difficult situation, a patient is dying, and the family wants to say goodbye, then of course it is human and humane for people to enter the hospital. I also heard information conveyed by the spokesperson of the hospital where the grandmother of the minister-to-be, the former voivode, the current MP, was located, and I know that they do not connect this outbreak with the MP's visit - he added.

“On October 13, we will submit such an amendment, providing for compensation for farmers. It will be full compensation. Everyone who was waiting for such an amendment, it will be realized. - I don't think such full-scale closures will happen. In my opinion, it's a very unlikely scenario.
