We want to address a topic that has been present in our families since March, concerning what is happening with COVID, with the coronavirus, and the effects it has on our social and economic lives. More broadly, we want to discuss and invite to this discussion, calling for a discussion on healthcare for all interested parties - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press conference in the Sejm. - I want to talk about the letter I am sending to the Minister of Health, Mr. Minister Niedzielski. We approach the newly appointed Minister of Health with goodwill. We are aware that he is operating under difficult conditions, having taken over the ministry while the epidemic is raging. The number of cases is increasing; today, with 13,000 tests performed, there are approximately 1,300 cases. This is a lot, and the number is growing day by day - he continued. - Today, I need clear information from the Minister of Health on what should be done and how to proceed. This information must simply be daily and very precise. I believe it is time to sit down for a joint discussion with all political forces, and we are calling the Minister of Health, all political forces, to such a meeting, together for patients, for healthcare. We also invite patients, patient organizations, and organizations representing medical professionals - he added.
