Budka:
Does anyone believe Kaczyński would heed opposition requests to dismiss Ziobro? No. That decision was made long ago. This is a play for us to distract from the situation in mining and healthcare.
- Does anyone believe that Jarosław Kaczyński, if he wanted to dismiss Ziobro, would take into account the opposition's motions? No. That decision was made long ago. This is a play for us to distract from the situation in mining, in healthcare, from the fact that more hospitals are being closed because there is no longer space in infectious disease wards. This is a play intended to convince us that Jarosław Kaczyński suddenly dislikes Ziobro because he dislikes animals. No. This is one big spectacle - said Borys Budka on Polsat News.
08:03
Budka:
Our Primary Goal is to Expose Kaczyński and His Allies' Hypocrisy. It's a Ruthless Game for Positions and Influence, Not a Serious Government Reshuffle.
- Our primary goal is to expose the hypocrisy of Kaczyński and his people. There is a ruthless game being played there for positions, for influence, not any kind of serious government reconstruction. The opposition exists to expose the authorities' intentions, and a vote of no confidence is a parliamentary instrument to highlight mistakes – Borys Budka said in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's “Graffiti”.
08:04
Sobolewski:
At 1 PM, the Political Committee Presidium Will Discuss Ziobro's Response to Our Conditions
„Today at 1 PM, we have a meeting of the Political Committee Presidium, and there we will discuss what response was given to the conditions we presented to Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro, what response Zbigniew Ziobro provided, and from that, we will determine our further actions, which we will undertake after discussion” - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski from PiS on Polish Radio 24.
08:05
Sobolewski:
The Coalition Still Doesn't Exist. What Happens Next Depends on Ziobro's Response
„The coalition still doesn't exist, and what happens next with the coalition, whether it will materialize at all and under what conditions, depends on that answer. At 1:00 PM I will know [if the answer has arrived]” - said Krzysztof Sobolewski from PiS on Polish Radio 24.
08:07
Kaleta:
We are not asking to be kept in the government and coalition. We firmly communicated our reservations
- First and foremost, we are not asking to be kept in the government and coalition. We feel obligated to the voters, an obligation that binds both Solidarna Polska, as well as PiS and Porozumienie - stated Sebastian Kaleta during "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.
- We firmly communicated, in a conciliatory manner, our reservations regarding certain moves, however, the fact is that our voters expect unity from us and do not want the temperature of disputes to rise. We understand these expectations of our voters - he continued.
08:07
Sobolewski:
The Most Desired Scenario is Three Years of Stable Majority After the Elections, Where Everyone Knows Their Place. The Chances of It Being Realized are 50/50
„The most desired scenario would be one where after the elections, we have three years of a stable majority and a majority where everyone knows their place. We implement what we promised Poles when we went into the elections, we continue some reforms and we proceed with those announced ones that we wanted to carry out. That would be the optimal scenario. At the moment, this scenario is suspended. The chances of it being realized are 50/50” - said Krzysztof Sobolewski from Law and Justice (PiS) on Polskie Radio 24.

Kaleta:
Our Voters React Critically to Such Media Scuffles; I Hope Colleagues from PiS Understand This is Not the Right Way
- Our voters are reacting very critically to such scuffles in the media that have occurred in recent days, and I hope our colleagues from PiS understand that this is not the right way – stated Sebastian Kaleta in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

Budka:
The Sejm debate, prompted by our motion, will once again expose the Ziobro network and Solidarna Polska's influence in state-owned companies
– The opposition's role is to expose the government's hypocrisy. During this debate, which will take place in the Sejm thanks to our motion, we will once again have the opportunity to expose the Ziobro network, the network of people from Solidarna Polska, and their influence in state-owned companies – said Borys Budka on Polsat News.

Budka:
I Want to See Morawiecki Defend Ziobro After Criticizing Him Privately and Urging Kaczyński to Dismiss Him
- I want to see Prime Minister Morawiecki walk to the parliamentary podium and, after everything he has said about Ziobro in backroom conversations, after all the times he urged Kaczyński to dismiss Ziobro, now he will have to defend him - Borys Budka said on Polsat News.

At 12:30 PM during Impact at the Expo hall in Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz will present an outline of proposals concerning the National Reconstruction Plan.
Technologies, pharmaceuticals, and the space industry are areas where investments are to be focused within the framework of funds obtained from the EU, Business Insider wrote. Poland is set to be the third largest recipient of funds from the €750 billion pool foreseen by the European Commission. In the first two years, €18.9 billion in grants is planned, with an additional €4.1 billion in the following year.

This is the first no-confidence vote. This autumn will be full of such motions. We acted exactly the same way in 2006-2007, so the public would learn the truth step by step.

Kaleta:
Speculation in the media about replacing one minister with another politician from our camp is crossing a red line
- We consider speculation in the media about one minister being replaced by another politician from our camp to be crossing a red line. The media are not the place for formulating such demands, especially since Zbigniew Ziobro is a very good Minister of Justice - stated Sebastian Kaleta in the "Piasecki Interview" on TVN24.
08:18
Budka:
Yesterday's communication dissonance stemmed from a certain thought shortcut. The Marshal spoke earlier, unaware of the final decision.
- Yesterday's communication dissonance stemmed from a certain thought shortcut. We agreed with the Marshal, he spoke earlier, unaware of the final decision. We were talking concurrently with my Civic Coalition partners. However, it is clear that we will be filing such motions concerning individual ministers - said Borys Budka in Polsat News.
08:28
Sobolewski:
We would like to and there is a plan to establish a State Animal Protection Inspectorate through an amendment
„We would like to and there is a plan to establish a State Animal Protection Inspectorate through an amendment, which would have such powers and which could control the situation of animals in households, both in the countryside and in the city, there would be no distinction. It could, of course, act on its own initiative, or upon request” – said Krzysztof Sobolewski from PiS on Polish Radio 24.
08:45
Kaleta:
No Details on Jarosław Kaczyński's Potential State Role, but SP Would Support His Decision
- I don't want to reveal details about possible scenarios regarding Jarosław Kaczyński's role as leader of the camp within state structures, however, any decision by him to undertake such tasks will be met with a positive attitude from Solidarna Polska - stated Sebastian Kaleta in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.
09:28
“This move certainly serves to consolidate PiS. Exactly the same geniuses who brought about the triumph in the presidential elections, the same geniuses who brought about the defeat in the European elections, and so on. I wouldn't want to continue this line of thought, as I wouldn't want to offend anyone. For some reason, since 2015, Andrzej Duda first defeated Bronisław Komorowski, and then PiS has almost always defeated the opposition” – said Michał Kamiński, Deputy Speaker of the Senate from Koalicja Polska, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.
09:29
"Without a doubt, this type of thinking, this type of infantile reaction to a political crisis, is the submission of a substantively justified motion. Dozens of people have been asking me since yesterday: have you lost your minds? People aren't looking at the differences, who is in which opposition party. People are clutching their heads in disbelief" - said Michał Kamiński, Deputy Marshal of the Senate from the Polish Coalition, on Radio Zet.
09:33
“Of course, yes [Koalicja Polska will support the motion to dismiss Ziobro]. When the vote comes, it is clear that we will support it. If it is submitted, there is no reason whatsoever to defend Zbigniew Ziobro. You know perfectly well, and I don't know why PO politicians don't know it, that this motion serves to consolidate PiS” - said Senate Vice-Marshal Michał Kamiński from Koalicja Polska in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.
09:40
Kamiński:
I Strongly Dislike Morawiecki, But He's the Only PiS Politician at a Serious Level with Potential to Engage Voters Beyond PiS Base. His Geopolitical Meetings Prove This and It Frightened Them.
„Now I will present something very favorable to Jarosław Kaczyński. Perhaps [he bet on Mateusz Morawiecki] because he realizes that in the long run, extreme politics is a policy that will lead his camp to defeat. Mateusz Morawiecki, I strongly dislike him, to be clear, and I have a very critical opinion of him on many matters, but objectively speaking, he is the only politician visible today in PiS at a serious level, who has at least the potential to engage with voters other than PiS voters. Morawiecki proved this, for example, by organizing meetings with representatives of the radical opposition for him on geopolitical matters. This also frightened Ziobro, because it showed that Morawiecki has some room for maneuver” – said Michał Kamiński, Deputy Marshal of the Senate from Polish Coalition, on Radio Zet.
10:29
- For us, this first counter-attack was successful. The initial economic results against the backdrop of the EU are positive, perhaps even very positive. Because we showed that thanks to the anti-crisis shield and financial shield, we could defend entrepreneurs and jobs. The word crisis comes from Greek and simultaneously means a turning point. Opportunity and turning point. And indeed, today's crisis is certainly such a turning point in the history of Europe, the history of the world. Poland is trying to use this moment not to let go of its entrepreneurs, to harness the natural energy, talent, discipline, and again, the talent and diligence of our startup founders, our inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the opening session of the Impact'20 Connected Edition Congress.

PMM:
We Have Opened Our Gates Wide for Belarusian Entrepreneurs. All of Them, but Especially from the ICT Sector
- Today, we are already striving to be a home for Belarusian entrepreneurs. In connection with this extremely difficult situation, with the oppression and repression in Belarus, we have opened our gates wide for Belarusian entrepreneurs. All of them, but especially those from the ICT sector, gaming, developers, programmers, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence – for all of them, we are creating the best possible conditions, for you, dear friends from Belarus – said Mateusz Morawiecki during the opening session of the Impact'20 Connected Edition Congress.

Nothing Done or Declared, But Nothing Done Regarding Flu Vaccinations
“On the next monthly anniversary of the declaration of a state of epidemic in Poland, exactly half a year today, I will try to explain where we are as a society, as a healthcare system, in this unprecedented situation in Poland’s history. Minister Niedzielski indeed decided to go down the path of establishing a hotline, shifting most of the responsibility to family doctors, and this is a step in the right direction. Nothing has been done or declared, but nothing has been done regarding flu vaccinations. The government contracted 2 million flu vaccines. Minister Niedzielski is negotiating for half a million” – said Szymon Hołownia, leader of the Poland2050 movement, at a press conference.

I'm an optimist regardless of what happens, whether there are changes involving slimming down the coalition by shedding Solidarna Polska, or if we remain together
„We will announce [whether we've reached an agreement] after our meeting at 1:00 PM. I'm an optimist regardless of what happens, whether there are changes involving slimming down the coalition by shedding Solidarna Polska, or if there are changes that will indicate we will continue together” - said Sejm Deputy Speaker Ryszard Terlecki of PiS in an interview with journalists in the Sejm, as reported by TVN24.
12:15
„They wanted to push themselves forward extensively. We prevented them from doing so. And now we will see if they accept our position. They will perhaps be a little more modest in their expectations” – said Sejm Deputy Marshal Ryszard Terlecki of the Law and Justice (PiS) party, in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm, as cited by TVN24.

Duda:
No Doubt We Should Fight Coronavirus Medically and Economically Together – Europe, Especially a United Europe as a Whole
President Andrzej Duda, who visited the Spallanzani Institute in Rome, emphasized that in the fight against the pandemic, cooperation in the industrial sector – production of protective and disinfectant agents – and in scientific research is crucial.
- I have no doubt that we should fight coronavirus medically and economically together, jointly – Europe, and especially a united Europe as a whole – he indicated.
In the presence of the President, an agreement was signed between the Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases and the National Institute of Hygiene – National Public Health Institute.

„We repeatedly stated that, unfortunately, difficult times are ahead, and that these times are very challenging for the budgets of all local governments, because we started with the fact that the waste management market was deregulated. Janosikowe (a local government contribution system) in Warsaw is growing, despite our appeals to change this system. The situation is such that the ruling party has fulfilled its promises using local government funds, I am referring to tax cuts. And what concerns us the most - these past few months, COVID, the difficult economic situation of the city, local governments, but also in Poland and Europe. Local governments are losing income, while more and more tasks are being pushed onto our shoulders” – said the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, at a press conference.
Among the investments whose implementation has been postponed to subsequent years are, among others: the construction of a pedestrian-bicycle bridge over the Vistula River, tram lines to Gocław and as part of the Dworzec Zachodni - Puławska project, the Śródmieście bypass, and the new TR Warszawa building.
Expansion of the paid parking zone and an increase in parking fees. Warsaw will also switch to a system for calculating waste management fees based on water consumption. „There is no ideal system here, because the ideal system would be based on the volume of waste produced by residents, but the law prohibits this” – said Trzaskowski.
The City Hall is also considering increasing ticket prices for Warsaw Public Transport. „We will discuss the optimization of the public transport tariff. This is a difficult discussion with councilors, because councilors make decisions. Large cities in Poland are increasing public transport tariffs by 30-40%. For now, we are considering a change in the functioning of tickets and the tariff itself. We are not planning any major price increases” – added the Mayor.
„We are approaching the government with demands to improve the situation of local governments, because local governments are on the front lines of the fight against coronavirus. This is the stance of all local governments. We are reviewing all kinds of actions, and those that are above standard in the areas of social assistance, culture, and education, unfortunately, often, due to the difficult situation regarding current expenditures, will have to be suspended for a year or two, because the city's budgetary situation is extremely difficult” – Trzaskowski argued.

Bortniczuk:
I'm not sure the fight against gender should be a priority for the Polish government during coronavirus. There are many more important issues to solve.
- I think this is the commentary of MEP Patryk Jaki. In principle, we have many more priorities. It's much broader than that. I'm not sure the fight against gender should be one of the Polish government's priorities during the coronavirus pandemic. I think there would be many more important matters to solve, precisely related to the economic and health crisis, among others. I would very much not want a political crisis to be superimposed on these two crises. Therefore, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the leaders of both our coalition partners, PiS and Solidarna Polska, to reach an agreement – stated Kamil Bortniczuk in an interview with Piotr Marciniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
- I think these priorities, which MEP Jaki mentioned, can really be reformatted and presented much more broadly – he continued.
19:47
Fogiel:
We believe we are on the right track. I take the decision of Solidarna Polska's board, granting Minister Ziobro a mandate for further talks, at face value.
- I haven't seen him [Ziobro] in person for the last few days, but he looked to be in good health, so I guess everything is alright - Radosław Fogiel said in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program 'Gość Wydarzeń' on Polsat News.
- We believe we are on the right track. Today, PiS leadership is still exploring various possible scenarios, but I take the decision of Solidarna Polska's board, which grants Minister Ziobro a mandate for further talks and further actions, at face value. I understand that consequently, we will receive approval, and learn about the acceptance of the conditions we proposed - he added.

Fogiel:
At times, Solidary Poland's ambitions were too exorbitant. Sometimes a few too many words were spoken, for example, towards the Prime Minister heading to the EU summit
- We can work within the coalition to continue implementing the program we ran on just a year ago, and to implement it hand in hand. Without doing anything behind the coalition partners' backs, sometimes curbing our ambitions if they are too exorbitant, because that is the most important thing and that is what our voters expect from us - Radosław Fogiel said on Polsat News.
- Were Solidary Poland's ambitions too exorbitant until now? - asked Bogdan Rymanowski.
- It happened sometimes. There were situations that, however, should not occur within a coalition. Sometimes a few too many words were spoken towards, for example, the Prime Minister heading to the European Union summit - he replied.
19:59
Fogiel:
No one denies that a politician as experienced as Kaczyński would certainly strengthen any government, but no decisions have been made on this matter.
- Regarding government matters, the issue of government reconstruction and achieving a more condensed form, which we have spoken about, remains current. I believe that once the turbulent coalition waters calm down, I hope, we will return to this, and then the composition of the government will be revisited. Of course, no one denies that a politician as experienced as Jarosław Kaczyński would certainly strengthen any government, but no decisions have been made on this matter - Radosław Fogiel said on Polsat News.
