At 13:00, the Presidium of the PiS Political Committee will convene. Earlier, as we hear, a meeting of the ruling party's top brass is planned, led by Jarosław Kaczyński, Mateusz Morawiecki, and Jacek Sasin.

- Yes, we have a meeting planned for the afternoon, so at this meeting, we will analyze the current situation within the coalition, within the United Right, and the actions we will take in the future. So, everything lies ahead of us today - said Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Katarzyna Gójska on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on Polish Radio Channel One, when asked if the PiS leadership meeting would take place at 1 PM.

- I assume that specific decisions will be made today and this period of uncertainty will be cut short - he added.

- Meetings, talks about a new coalition, about a new coalition agreement have been halted and there are no plans for them to be continued in the near future - said Krzysztof Sobolewski on Polskie Radio Jedynka.

"I'd like the United Right to continue functioning unchanged, for us to continue treating each other as partners, but it takes two to tango. I don't know how this situation will unfold. I am looking at it with great concern. The reality is that many colleagues are assessing it with strong words, describing the situation as if the coalition no longer exists" – said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24.

„It's hard to resist the impression that this coalition doesn't exist, when almost every law, every program requires internal debate within the camp. I would like United Right to function in its current form,” said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on TVN24.

„Indeed, it is difficult to imagine and consider normal a situation where one of the significantly smaller coalition partners wants to have a substantial influence on the shape and functioning of the coalition, and on top of that, becomes unpredictable by changing the rules of the game during its duration” – said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on TVN24.

"I think it's one of the realistic options. I don't know if Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister. This is a decision for President Kaczyński. This politician has such a stature that he could play a stabilizing role in this tense situation, but there must be goodwill from both sides for that to happen. On our side, that goodwill exists" - said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on TVN24.

- I think it's not time to pack yet. Decisions lie ahead. The coalition, formally speaking, doesn't exist at the moment, because of the votes in parliament that took place, but also because of those that didn't, as we had to withdraw one of the important bills precisely due to opposition… I don't know if it was the most important, but it was indeed important - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- Today, the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (PiS) Political Committee presidium is meeting. This is by no means closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. This is precisely the session where key decisions will be made. We will discuss how this coalition should look going forward in light of the situation that has occurred. Whether it should continue, be modified, or perhaps if other scenarios need to be introduced to clarify the situation. Because the current situation, where there is a coalition that theoretically has a parliamentary majority and can theoretically make important decisions, but on the other hand, when it comes to those important decisions, they cannot be made due to differences in opinion within the coalition, is not a situation that can last long. Above all, it is important that we all have the conviction that we are heading in one direction, that we have a common program and an idea for governing Poland - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

I have some doubts about that, but perhaps I wouldn't phrase it as 'knowing their place' [that coalition partners don't know their place], but rather that perhaps they don't quite perceive certain proportions within the United Right. There is PiS, which is undoubtedly the dominant force. There would be no MPs from Solidary Poland and Agreement if they hadn't run on PiS lists. We form a common parliamentary club, and it cannot be that this parliamentary club is being undermined from within by some ambitions or other ideas. It's a very vivid image [the tail wagging the dog], but it captures a certain reality. It cannot be that PiS, which enjoys dominant, crushing support within the United Right, has to continually yield to the expectations and demands of its coalition partners. This is indeed not a healthy construct in a democracy - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- Under no circumstances can I say who the new head [Minister of Justice] will be, because I cannot confirm that there will be a new head of the Ministry of Justice. These decisions are ahead of us. They will likely be made in the near future - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- We are not only unafraid, but I am absolutely convinced that Minister Ziobro is unfamiliar with this kind of politics, so let's really not talk at all about things like searching for papers, scandals, and fighting in that way - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- If there is no agreement within the United Right on accepting the conviction that influence on the political direction in Poland and on adopted laws must be adequate to social support, meaning PiS as the dominant political force… If our coalition partners do not recognize this obvious principle in a democracy, the consequence will indeed be a minority government, and we will see what comes next. Early elections cannot be ruled out in this situation either. This is obvious - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- Of course, early elections are a last resort. This must also be clearly stated. No one seeks these elections at all costs, but on the other hand, it is difficult to imagine truly effective governance for the next 3 years with a minority government, where every law would have to be negotiated - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- First and foremost, I do not believe this act is far-fetched. It is an important and necessary act. I understand it concerns the animal protection act. It's about whether we in the United Right have the courage to introduce difficult but important, civilizational changes in Poland. This act has precisely that character. - You keep asking me to predict what will happen. The PiS congress will decide on that. For me, it would be a rather obvious decision, to be honest [for Mateusz Morawiecki to become one of PiS's vice-chairmen]. There are currently 6 PiS vice-chairmen. Prime Minister Morawiecki, by the very fact that he is Prime Minister, plays a very important role in our political camp. It would be absolutely normal and natural for the political role held by the fact that he is Prime Minister to be sanctioned by him also being Vice-Chairman of the ruling party - stated Jacek Sasin on Radio Zet.

- He stated very clearly that he [the president] cares about the well-being of rural areas, and animal welfare is only a part of that well-being. Beyond animal welfare lies the entire socio-economic aspect of rural Poland, and all of this must be taken into account if we truly want to improve the fate of rural Poland - said Krzysztof Szczerski in a conversation with Beata Michniewicz on "Salon polityczny" (Political Salon) on Polish Radio Trójka.

The Marshal Grodzki will be the President's guest on Tuesday. The President is meeting with Marshal Grodzki tomorrow at noon. This was Marshal Grodzki's request for a meeting. It was supposed to concern other legislative matters, but in this situation, the President will also ask Marshal Grodzki how he intends to proceed with this bill [the 'Five for Animals']. - I think that when it comes to the issue of regional assemblies, these are also individual matters for each voivodeship. So, that's how I would rather see it. - The President is negatively concerned and astonished by the situation unfolding today within the United Right - stated Krzysztof Szczerski on Radio Trójka.

- Indeed, throughout the presidential campaign, the parties of the United Right promised Poles calm and stability after the presidential elections, and above all, one must reckon with the voters. This is the most important thing. The voters received a very clear message from the United Right that after President Andrzej Duda's victory, there would be calm and stability. Instead, we are witnessing a medley of demands from junior coalition partners, which is unacceptable - he added.

- If we are to describe it in some way, as a state, that we are in such a state of separation. We'll see. It can go one way or the other. - Someone is putting their ambitions above everything else, believing that now, in every matter, especially in every difficult one, they will attempt some form of blackmail, perhaps. - I would like to inform you that the information that the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has issued a decision to present charges against Leszek Cz., a billionaire who, as chairman of the supervisory board of Idea Bank during the period covered by the charges, according to the prosecution, knowingly engaged in unlawful actions, failing to fulfill his duties of diligence and honesty as required by the commercial code and the bank's statute, caused enormous damage to very many clients of Idea Bank, and the amount of the charge concerns PLN 130 million - continued the Prosecutor General.

- According to the findings of the prosecution, Leszek Cz., who served as chairman of the supervisory board of Idea Bank, effectively managed the bank during that time, and in the opinion of the prosecution, all prerequisites exist to effectively present Leszek Cz. with charges of committing serious offenses, and all prerequisites also existed to apply to the court for his temporary arrest. If the court decides on temporary arrest, a warrant will then be issued - he emphasized.

- The prosecution, in conjunction with the Central Anticorruption Bureau and Ukrainian prosecution authorities, has gathered substantial evidence indicating the involvement of Mr. Sławomir N., formerly a highly influential and close associate of Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in criminal proceedings - stated Zbigniew Ziobro during a press conference.

- Mr. Donald Tusk will, in due course, have to confront the evidentiary findings of the investigation, which is supervised by the National Public Prosecutor's Office, directly conducted by the Regional Prosecutor's Office, and is being carried out within an investigative team established through international cooperation by National Prosecutor Bogdan Święczkowski. I must tell you that, unfortunately, Mr. Sławomir N., who was supposed to bring Polish aid and support to Ukraine, and showcase European standards in ethics and morality in public life, has shown something entirely different - he continued.

- The findings made by the prosecution, these new ones, from the period of Mr. Sławomir N.'s activities when he held the office of an important minister alongside Donald Tusk, will see the light of day. I am also certain that they will be reflected in further prosecutorial actions, through the supplementation of charges against Mr. N., as well as in the future through the filing of an indictment with the court. I must tell you that this case also involves corruption threads related to other individuals connected with the close leadership of Civic Platform, and I also understand the concern and reluctance of some Civic Platform politicians towards the prosecution and the services involved in clarifying this affair - he added. 

- I believe that United Right is a good thing, this United Right coalition has brought much good to Poland, many positive changes in various areas. We are likely not perfect, but we are far better than those who came before us, and I am convinced that this is a project that has a great future ahead of it and can do much good for Poland, make this country better, so that Poles live better in Poland, so that our homeland can develop in this increasingly difficult and challenging situation in Europe – stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- This coalition is a good thing. And it's worth continuing, despite certain tensions that naturally arise within it. And this is my conviction - stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- Naturally, eyes were turned towards the Polish government, towards those particularly responsible for decision-making, in order to find the necessary medical instruments and equipment to limit the consequences of this pandemic, which would ultimately protect human life. For such situations, it is certainly possible to find and consider finding an exceptional solution, also defined within the rules of law – said Zbigniew Ziobro during a press conference.

- We are, and have been, ready for such a discussion. However, the regulation as presented required further reflection. We are ready to talk, but adhering to the principle that the law is equal for everyone. There are situations that justify seeking a way out, so that those making the most difficult decisions can act for the common good with a sense of personal security, without fear – he added.

- For the good of the coalition, my conviction that there is no reason why what has brought such good results for Poland, and which is threatened, which could cause fatal consequences for Poland if certain decisions were made, decisions which you are also writing about, the consequences would then be far-reaching and perhaps irreversible, so that this does not happen, that we all still have time to consider how what has brought such good results for many years can continue, for the glory of the homeland, for the glory of Poland, and this is my conviction. - I believe this project makes sense and has a future, but we need to talk, and I trust there's still time for discussion. As Solidarna Polska, we don't feel we've made any votes that contradict our program. However, we are convinced that we can also draw conclusions from this crisis, which has undoubtedly occurred, and I hope it will strengthen us as a coalition – stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

"If a mediator is needed, we [as Porozumienie] are also [prepared] to take on the role of mediator. We are certainly trying to act with sobriety, to show the potential negative consequences of a scenario that no one wants. We are talking with both representatives of PiS and SP, and we know that no one in the United Right wants its breakup, so it would be a curio, in a situation where no member wants it to fall apart, for this coalition to collapse. I am absolutely convinced that the United Right will endure" - said Kamil Bortniczuk from Porozumienie on TOK FM.

"As far as I know, [the coalition] exists, and the facts prove it. As a member of Porozumienie, like my colleagues from Solidarna Polska, we are members of the PiS parliamentary club, and our representatives sit in the government," said Kamil Bortniczuk from Porozumienie on TOK FM.

- We are currently facing the most serious political crisis within the United Right coalition in 6 years. Seven consecutive election victories were the result of our cooperation. We sometimes disagreed, but we moved forward together and were successful 7 times: twice in parliamentary elections, twice in presidential elections, twice in regional assembly elections, and in the European elections - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

I believe the situation is very serious at the moment. It is not yet decided whether this coalition will last, but the alternative is certainly a minority government. That is on the table. Such a possibility certainly exists. Over the last three decades, 30 years, there have been five minority governments, although Poland does not have such a tradition as Scandinavia. These governments usually last a maximum of one year. However, I think that, theoretically, the decision for accelerated parliamentary elections, early elections, is also on the horizon, although it seems to me that today a more probable alternative, a more probable way out of this situation, is a minority government, though of course it is not yet decided – stated Ryszard Czarnecki in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

- This will be the week. I think, Mr. Editor, you are patient, you've been talking to politicians for so long. We are approaching this responsibly, Mr. Editor. - We announced from the very beginning that we want coalition partners to have one ministry each, and this response from Minister Jaki [on Twitter] is, let's say, partly true, because I hope they have accepted that there will indeed be one less ministry, as this stems from the agreement regarding the proportionality of ministries among individual parties - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

No such decision has been made yet. If we make a decision to part ways with our coalition partners, then there will be a candidate. There are at least several candidates from within Law and Justice who would undoubtedly be suitable for such a role - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News. We are talking with MP Wassermann or MP Czarnek, or other MPs who have appeared in the media, but I wouldn't want to give a definitive answer now as to who could be the successor - he added.

– A natural consequence of a lack of discipline in voting is also the decision to withdraw recommendations. I think it is very probable that this will actually be the consequence of withdrawing the recommendation for Minister Ardanowski, but such a decision has not yet been made. We currently have proceedings within PiS – said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

– This is not information [about how the Minister of Agriculture voted] that was positively received. For us, this was an important bill. At the parliamentary club meeting, there was an expectation of a certain discipline in this regard; there was a clear announcement of consequences for a lack of support, and therefore it is difficult to accept a decision that is in opposition to this as a positive decision. Without a doubt, the Prime Minister assesses it unequivocally negatively – he added.

- Digitization has various concepts when it comes to its placement. It can be cross-ministerial, or it can also be comprehensively placed within the Prime Minister's Chancellery, at least in the scope of state informatization and public services. Such a concept was also discussed. As I mentioned, there is no final discussion in this regard - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News.

In my opinion, there will be no early elections because PiS has too much to lose. These are scandals that will be immediately investigated after they lose the elections. These are people who will face court for embezzlement, for using their positions for their own interests. These are primarily internal problems. However, I think they will grill Ziobro. Today, in the last few hours, we saw photos from the feudal homage of Solidarna Polska politicians. We saw a crying Ziobro at press conferences, once as Prosecutor General, once as Minister of Justice, but I want to emphasize again that these are not the problems that Poles are living with – stated Borys Budka in an interview with Piotr Kraśko on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

- In the near future, this week, the Head of the Political Cabinet, Minister Krzysztof Kubów, and Deputy Minister Artur Soboń, who is responsible for mines, will travel to Silesia and will hold discussions in this regard. These are representatives of the Prime Minister who have full powers to agree on all decisions with the representatives of the miners - said Piotr Müller on Polsat News. 

- I think that what can unite us all is passing a motion to shorten the Sejm's term. It's the only sensible scenario because, indeed, I cannot imagine a situation where one could govern together, I don't know, with Zbigniew Ziobro. „It's hard to imagine a more loyal ally [than Solidarna Polska]. We have been together for 5 years in the common project of the United Right, and please check how the parliamentarians of SP have voted. Almost 100% - 99.9% - of all votes were the same as PiS” – said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik of Solidarna Polska in an interview with Monika Olejnik on „Kropka nad i” on TVN24.
