“There is a provision in the Polish constitution, Article 32, which speaks of equality of all before the law. This is a fundamental provision of the constitution, a constitutional principle that we should all be faithful to, especially the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, who is the advocate of public interest and guardian of the rule of law. We know that a change to the law was proposed which stipulated that certain social groups would be specially favored, that they would be treated better, differently than the rest of society” – said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik from Solidarna Polska at a press conference.

“Equality before the law is the foundation of justice, the key to justice. Solidarna Polska has never voted, does not vote, and will never vote for any regulation that would violate this fundamental principle” – he added.
