RPO election point removed from voting bloc at KO MPs' request due to commission vote doubts. I will reconvene the committee.

– Witek to Braun, who demanded a vote on an amendment beyond the scope of the presented bill concerning the so-called eugenic premise in the Human Foetus Protection Act:
Please don’t shout at me here
The Speaker of the Sejm, acting on the recommendations of the Legislative Bureau, refused to put to a vote an amendment by Konfederacja, which sought to amend the Act on Family Planning, Protection of the Human Foetus and Conditions for Admissibility of Interruption of Pregnancy, using an amendment to the Animal Protection Act. MP Grzegorz Braun loudly protested in the chamber, sparking a dispute with the Speaker of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, who was presiding over the vote.
01:08
38 MPs from the United Right ultimately voted against the Animal Protection Act. These were mainly coalition MPs of Zbigniew Ziobro, but the group also included PiS MPs such as Bartłomiej Wróblewski, former Environment Minister Henryk Kowalczyk, who is associated with Beata Szydło, and - rather departing - Minister of Agriculture Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski.
MPs from the back benches of Law and Justice also voted against Chairman Kaczyński's stance: Czochara, Dolata, Glenc, Górska, Hałas, Kołakowski, Małecki (the Jerzy one, not Maciej), Moskal, as well as new additions from the former Kukiz club: Rzymkowski and Siarkowska.
MPs from Porozumienie, led by Jarosław Gowin, abstained from voting. Jadwiga Emilewicz, however, supported the bill along with PiS. Małgorzata Wassermann, among others, did not vote.
After the vote, Jarosław Kaczyński loudly applauded, and MP Waldemar Andzel, who ensures club discipline, diligently studied the voting printout.
Four PO MPs voted against the project - including Jerzy Borowczak and Tomasz Lenz.
Paweł Kukiz supported the bill, while MPs Szramka and Biernacki abstained.

In the Lipusz Forest District in Pomeranian Voivodeship, President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda will participate in the nationwide "sadziMY" tree planting initiative, implemented in cooperation with State Forests. The event begins at 13:00, with a meeting with the initiative's participants scheduled for 15:20.
At 13:00, the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kamiński, will present state decorations to trade union representatives on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union of Police Officers (NSZZ Policjantów). The ceremony will also be attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Jarosław Szymczyk, and Rafał Jankowski, the chairman of the Main Board of NSZZ Policjantów.

- Yes, because in its current form, it restricts several constitutional regulations, including freedom of economic activity, the right to privacy, religious freedom, and the principle of citizen trust in the state and enacted law. And would you vote for provisions violating fundamental rights? - wrote Bartłomiej Wróblewski from PiS, explaining his vote against the adoption of the so-called "Five for Animals" act on Facebook.

Bielan:
We Must Wait for Emotions to Subside, Then Return to Negotiations. I am Convinced the United Right Still Has Many Tasks Ahead
- It would be completely absurd, incomprehensible to our voters, for us to quarrel now after four consecutive election victories in the last 2 years, at a time when we have a relatively safe majority in the Sejm for 3 years, a friendly president, and can finally reform Poland, which is what our voters expect us to do - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's program "Jedziemy".
- Let's remember that this bill, although important of course and evoking strong emotions, was not an element of the coalition agreement. This agreement is yet to be signed. MPs behaved differently. Solidarna Polska MPs voted against it, but also several dozen MPs belonging to the PiS party voted against it. Porozumienie MPs abstained by a large majority, although it seems Prime Minister Emilewicz voted in favour. And a very large part of the opposition voted in favour of this bill, so it was passed by a large majority in the Sejm. I believe we must probably wait a few days for the emotions to subside, and then return to the negotiating table. I am convinced that the United Right still has many tasks ahead of it. As the United Right, we are the most successful project in the history of Polish parliament. Never before has any political project, any grouping, won all the elections in which the United Right participated. Since 2014, it has won all elections, and I do not understand, and above all, our voters would not understand at all, that this project has been broken due to the ambitions of one politician or another - he continued.
07:56
Bielan:
Splitting the United Right and Potential Early Elections Would Lead to a Left-Wing Takeover
- The consequence of splitting the United Right, and potential early elections, although I believe such elections will not occur, would be a takeover by the left. All those who bring this about will have to face such consequences. I am convinced they will disappear from Polish politics for many years - stated Adam Bielan on TVP Info's program "Jedziemy".
08:02
Bielan:
I am convinced that within a few weeks, likely by early October, we can sign a new coalition agreement and reconstruct the government
08:05
Bielan:
I Can't Imagine Porozumienie Leaving the United Right. There Are No Such Voices Within Our Ranks
- Porozumienie, from the very moment of the United Right's formation, has always emphasized that it wants to remain an important coalition partner, an important member of this United Right. The authorities of Porozumienie are only scheduled to meet next week. We will be evaluating what President Jarosław Gowin has managed to negotiate so far, and I can't imagine Porozumienie leaving the United Right. There are no such voices within our ranks - stated Adam Bielan on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy".

Suski:
As of Today, There Is No Coalition, and We Are Determined on a Minority Government. Our Former Coalition Partners Should Pack Their Desks.
- This is indeed a difficult challenge, but three years is a long period. There have been minority governments in Poland before, and they managed to last until the end of their term. However, what will happen? It's unknown. It's the unknown future, after all. As of today, there is no coalition, and we are determined on a minority government - Marek Suski said in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM's "Morning Conversation."
- As of today, after yesterday's, or rather today's, votes, because it was after midnight, there is no coalition. Our former coalition partners, I think, should pack their desks - he added.
08:24
08:28
Suski:
Someone with such a benevolent view of cruelty should not be Minister of Justice
- Regarding former coalition partners, because as of yesterday there is no coalition and no talks are planned for now, in my opinion, someone who has such a benevolent view of cruelty should not be Minister of Justice. Especially not Minister of Justice - said Marek Suski on RMF FM.
08:35
Müller:
I believe this is a situation where a minority government scenario should be considered
„I believe this is a situation where such a scenario [of a minority government] should be taken into account. The scenario of a minority government has already occurred in Poland's history. The governments of Jerzy Buzek or Marek Belka. One can govern during such times” - said government spokesperson, Minister Piotr Müller, in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.
08:36
Müller:
Our Coalition Partners Behave in a Manner Inconsistent with the Principles Previously Prevailing in the United Right
"Observers of political life will indeed assess yesterday as a kind of change, a change that is not good for the stability of the United Right. I say this with regret because this project was a key project for PiS, and our coalition partners behaved in a manner inconsistent with the principles that previously prevailed in the United Right," said government spokesperson, Minister Piotr Müller, in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.
08:40
Müller:
Some likely ask themselves if it's good that people who condone animal cruelty are in the Ministry of Justice
"It is difficult at this moment to even speak of a certain political bond. It is difficult to be in government with people… Even some likely ask themselves if it's good that people who condone animal cruelty are in the Ministry of Justice" - said government spokesperson Minister Piotr Müller in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.
08:42
Sobolewski:
At This Moment, We Can Say We Are in a Post-Coalition Phase
- At this moment, we are pleased with the votes that took place last night, because it turned out that cross-party consensus on animal protection is possible, and the outcome of the vote on the animal protection act shows this best. However, it is, of course, saddening that a portion of the United Right MPs voted [against] or abstained during these votes. And well, at this moment, we can say that we are in a post-coalition phase - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in an interview with Jacek Łęski on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".
08:47
Sobolewski:
PiS Leader to Decide on Suspensions Today; Minority Government Not Ruled Out
- Decisions will be made today by the PiS leader, Jarosław Kaczyński, regarding the suspension of PiS MPs who voted [against], abstained, or cannot sufficiently justify their absence from votes on this bill. These decisions will be made today. We will communicate them after the President signs them. As for further actions, well, one can say that we do not rule out a minority government - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski on TVP1's "Political Fifteen Minutes".
08:48
Müller:
International Actions Should Be Coordinated Within the Government. I Have the Impression Solidarna Polska Has Been Trying to Act Independently Recently
08:53
Sobolewski:
Discussing Early Elections Now is Looking Far Ahead, But We Don't Rule Out a Minority Government
- At this moment, talking about early elections is a bit of looking into the future, even very far into the future, but we do not rule out a minority government. In Poland, we have a tradition that minority governments have existed and held power after 1989, some with success. I recall that Jan Krzysztof Bielecki's government was a minority government at one point, Jan Olszewski's government was also a minority government, Prime Minister Buzek's government was a minority government, and it introduced, for example, thanks to the final phase of its activity, the law on political parties and their financing, which somewhat put the Polish political scene on its feet. Prime Minister Belka's government was also a minority government; it ruled for a few months. And the first PiS government for 3 months - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".
08:55
Suski:
Emilewicz did not vote against the act; on the contrary, she supported it and there's no basis for her dismissal
- However, not all MPs, and here I'm referring to Ms. Emilewicz, did not vote against this act. On the contrary, she supported it, and there is no basis for her to be dismissed from her position. It's not entirely like that, please don't sum it up that way. Two hundred MPs in the Sejm is a very strong backing for a minority government – said Marek Suski in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "One on One".
08:58
Sobolewski:
This law is not the cause of the coalition's split. I want to emphasize that clearly. The split happened earlier, at the very foundations of our coalition.
- The cause of the split in the coalition is not this law [the "5 for Animals" act]. I want to emphasize that clearly. The split happened earlier, at the very foundations of our coalition, concerning issues ranging from the negotiation of a new coalition agreement to the matter, so to speak, that someone wrote yesterday that the tail is wagging the dog. Exactly. It's a very unnatural situation when the tail wags the dog, so we want to set this situation right - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski on TVP1's "Kwadrans polityczny" (Political Quarter Hour).
09:07
Sobolewski:
We Cannot Imagine a Justice Minister Who Supports Animal Cruelty in Government
- I will add one thing regarding the issue of a minority government. We cannot imagine, for example, having a Justice Minister in government who supports animal cruelty - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski on TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".
09:23
Dworczyk:
Yesterday's Decisions by Our Coalition Partners Mean It's Unclear Today If This Coalition Exists
09:26
Dworczyk:
Currently, there are no coalition talks. The political leadership of PiS will make decisions regarding the future of the United Right.
"Currently, there are no coalition talks. The political leadership of PiS will make decisions regarding the future of our formation, the formation of the United Right. We would naturally want the United Right to maintain its majority in the Sejm at all times, to be responsible for forming the government; however, the actions of our coalition partners have led to precisely this situation" - said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on Radio Trójka.
09:27
Dworczyk:
A Minority Government is an Option, a Realistic One, but it Has No Chance of Functioning Until the End of the Term, So it Would Most Likely Mean Shortening the Sejm's Term and Early Elections
„Today, a minority government is one of the options. A realistic option. Whether it comes to that depends on the leadership of PiS. Such a minority government has no chance of functioning until the end of the term, so it would most likely mean shortening the Sejm's term and early elections” - said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on Polish Radio Trójka.
09:31
Wąsik:
Today We Seem Closer to Early Elections Than We Were Yesterday
- I must admit honestly that I have doubts about this, also in the context of yesterday's meeting with Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński, who stated the matter very sharply. And today we seem closer to early elections than we were yesterday - stated Maciej Wąsik on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on PR1.
09:53
Jackowski:
Early Elections Would Be Incomprehensible to Our Electorate; PiS Has Signaled It's Turning Its Back on Rural Areas
- If it turned out that elections, for example, early elections, which would nevertheless happen due to the irresponsibility of politicians, leaders of formations managing the United Right camp, if they were to occur, firstly, it would be absolutely incomprehensible to our electorate. Secondly, our core electorate has currently received a signal from PiS that it is turning its back on rural areas, because that's how it was perceived - said Jan Maria Jackowski in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski in "The Heart of the Matter" on Radio Plus.
09:55
Terlecki:
PiS Leadership to Convene Monday to Decide Next Steps
- If the situation is such that there is no other option, that we cannot act, implement changes, or function in such a minority government, then of course, snap elections will be necessary - Ryszard Terlecki stated in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
- Now, frankly, at this moment, I don't know [what Zbigniew Ziobro could do]. Because all our agreements have, in a sense, hung in limbo. So let's wait. On Monday, the PiS leadership will convene and decide what we will do, how we will proceed in the coming days - he continued.
10:00
Jackowski:
Statements Appearing in Public Space Should Be Read as Negotiation Tactics, Not Guarantees of Future Actions
- At this moment, statements appearing in the public space should be read as negotiation tactics, not as announcements of what will definitely happen. Of course, I don't have a hundred percent guarantee of how these talks will end, but I am convinced that the responsibility for the common good of all participants in these discussions, and above all, the necessity of a culture of dialogue – which is not prevalent in the United Right camp and which we must also learn – is not an easy art, it requires certain compromises, conversations, and patience - said Jan Maria Jackowski on Radio Plus.
10:03
Terlecki:
Two Accusations Against Coalition Partners
- We have two [accusations against coalition partners]. One is that it was so difficult to reach an agreement and our coalition partners kept raising new expectations, as if new areas for negotiation appeared every day, which was a bit irritating, and the behavior yesterday - stated Ryszard Terlecki in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.
10:08
- Until now, the line has been that discipline did not apply in worldview matters. This act had a worldview dimension, and if they face political consequences for it, it will be a shot in the knee by the PiS leadership, for a very simple reason: in rural communities, these people will rise to the rank of heroes. Secondly, in the eyes of the electorate, they will also grow in stature for the spectacular way their spines were attempted to be broken. From this perspective, it is also a reputational loss. Perhaps not as striking, politically visible immediately, subtle, but nonetheless significant in future electoral chances - said Jan Maria Jackowski on Radio Plus.
10:10
Terlecki:
The Situation Now is That the Coalition Practically Doesn't Exist, and the Consequences Will Naturally Extend to Government Positions
- We've been conducting painstaking negotiations for two weeks, aimed at a government reconstruction. They collapsed yesterday following votes on an issue we cared about. Our coalition partners either voted against it or abstained. And of course, consequences must be drawn from this. It appears, and let's not pre-judge, as various things are possible in politics and much can still happen, but the situation now is that the coalition practically doesn't exist, and the consequences of this will naturally extend to government positions as well – stated Ryszard Terlecki in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

On October 20, the Constitutional Tribunal will review the law on the Ombudsman, at the request of PiS MPs. In practice, the issue is to examine the constitutionality of the current situation. Adam Bodnar continues to serve as Ombudsman, despite the end of his term, because parliament has not elected his successor.

Fifteen members of the Law and Justice (PiS) party have been suspended from their party membership rights. This disciplinary action comes in the wake of their vote on the controversial "Animal Protection Law," often referred to as the "five for animals" bill. The suspension was confirmed by party sources.
The decision to suspend these MPs highlights the deep divisions within the ruling party regarding the animal welfare legislation. The "five for animals" bill, which includes a ban on ritual slaughter and a restriction on fur farming, has been a highly contentious issue, dividing not only political parties but also society at large. Those who voted against the bill, or abstained, are seen by some within PiS as not aligning with the party's stated values or priorities.
The specific details of the vote and the subsequent disciplinary measures are still being clarified, but the suspensions signal a significant internal party reckoning. Further developments are expected as PiS navigates this internal conflict.

Budka:
First, we are for upholding the Senate Pact. Second, I have instructed the regional structures of Civic Platform to be ready for accelerated elections
- We have had an extraordinary meeting of the Civic Platform's board. We are in a situation of great state crisis. Instead of dealing with the pandemic, instead of dealing with the safety of Polish women and men, PiS is once again concerned with itself. Everything that has been happening for the past few days shows that Jarosław Kaczyński has completely lost touch with reality - said Borys Budka during a press conference in the Sejm.
- It is very important to have scenarios for every eventuality, which is why from this place, on behalf of Civic Platform, I want to say clearly. First, we are for upholding the Senate Pact and we will discuss this with our coalition partners in the Senate. Second, I have instructed the regional structures of Civic Platform to be ready for accelerated elections, and these efforts have been put into practice as of today. We have a ready campaign team from the presidential election campaign and we are prepared to conduct any variant of early elections - he added.
13:35
- I have been authorized by the Civic Platform board to hold talks with coalition partners within Civic Coalition, but also to engage with other parliamentary and non-parliamentary groups regarding possible variants of a parliamentary majority for a constructive vote of no confidence – stated Borys Budka during a press conference in the Sejm.
13:39
Budka:
I will convene another Civic Platform board meeting on Monday
- On Monday, I will convene another Civic Platform board meeting to propose concrete, political solutions. But starting today and throughout this weekend, we will be conducting broad political consultations, we will talk with everyone, I emphasize everyone – both parliamentary and non-parliamentary partners, because today, amidst this PiS government crisis, amidst this state crisis into which it has been driven by the irresponsible decisions of United Right politicians, it is important to prioritize the safety of Poles and a secure future – said Borys Budka during a press conference in the Sejm.

Wójcik:
Equality Before the Law is the Foundation of Justice. Solidarna Polska Has Never Voted, Does Not Vote, and Will Never Vote for Any Regulation That Violates This Fundamental Principle
“There is a provision in the Polish constitution, Article 32, which speaks of equality of all before the law. This is a fundamental provision of the constitution, a constitutional principle that we should all be faithful to, especially the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, who is the advocate of public interest and guardian of the rule of law. We know that a change to the law was proposed which stipulated that certain social groups would be specially favored, that they would be treated better, differently than the rest of society” – said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik from Solidarna Polska at a press conference.
“Equality before the law is the foundation of justice, the key to justice. Solidarna Polska has never voted, does not vote, and will never vote for any regulation that would violate this fundamental principle” – he added.
14:42
Wójcik:
"Yes" to Animal Rights, But Humans Must Come First. If Humans Are Superior, Solidarna Polska Has the Right to Comment on the Bill.
"When it comes to animal rights, it's always a 'yes', but an animal cannot be above a human. A human is above an animal, and if that is the case, then we, as Solidarna Polska, have the right to have our remarks regarding the bill that was processed yesterday, and we have submitted these remarks, because it cannot be that we attack the Polish countryside, Polish farmers, tens of thousands of Polish farmers. These are people before whom we can bow our heads and thank them for what they do for Poland, for Poles" - said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik from Solidarna Polska at a press conference.
14:47
„We regret that there was no in-depth discussion in this regard, but 5 years ago, Solidarna Polska decided to be with our partners, and more, with our friends from PiS and Porozumienie in one coalition, in the United Right. We made an agreement to change Poland after the failed governments of PO and PSL. Poles wanted change, and for 5 years we have been a loyal partner. For 5 years, we participated in thousands of votes and always voted loyally. In 5 years, we have managed to change Poland” - said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik from Solidarna Polska at a press conference.
14:49
Wójcik:
If Someone Tried to Force Ziobro's Resignation Today, They'd Give PO a Huge Gift. They're Just Rubbing Their Hands Together, Waiting for Such a Move.
“The symbol of these changes [in the justice system] is the Minister of Justice – Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro. If someone today tried to force Zbigniew Ziobro’s resignation, they would be giving PO a huge gift. They are just rubbing their hands together and waiting for such a move, which would lead to Zbigniew Ziobro not being the one directing the Ministry of Justice and the Polish prosecution service” – said Deputy Minister Michał Wójcik of Solidarna Polska at a press conference.
14:55
Kaleta:
Our Firm Opposition to the Law on Lack of Responsibility for Actions During the Pandemic Does Not Make Us Feel Like Disloyal Partners
- Our firm opposition to these regulations [the law on lack of responsibility for actions during the pandemic] does not make us feel like disloyal partners. We believe that they have consistently trusted us, the United Right, to change Poland and introduce further reforms, and these reforms are our goal. Equality before the law is very important. We are pleased and grateful that we have finally convinced our partners of the doubts we have formulated. However, we do not understand why, in these circumstances, concerning such matters, a discussion about the state and condition of the United Right is currently being held - said Sebastian Kaleta during a press conference.
15:08
Kowalski:
Any Attempt to Dismiss the Minister of Justice Means Elections. Elections that are a Gift to PO, to the LGBT, Elections Awaited by Drug and Fuel Mafias, Which Have Been Fought for the Last 5 Years
- Solidarna Polska is a loyal coalition partner of the United Right. The United Right, when united, wins elections. When it is divided and quarrelsome, as the history of the Third Republic shows, it loses elections. Any attempts to dismiss the Minister of Justice, Zbigniew Ziobro, who is a symbol of good change, who is a symbol of everything that has happened in the justice system in the last 5 years, who is a symbol of the tough fight against criminals, against drug and VAT mafias, who is a symbol of a firm, decisive no to LGBT organizations entering Polish schools. Zbigniew Ziobro is also a symbol that Brussels will not introduce its subjective rule of law principles in Poland, and Poland will never agree to the withholding of European funds as long as Zbigniew Ziobro is the Minister of Justice - stated Janusz Kowalski at a press briefing in the Sejm.
- Any attempt to dismiss the Minister of Justice means elections. Elections that are a gift to PO, to the LGBT, elections that are awaited by drug and fuel mafias, which have been fought for the last 5 years. We will not consent to this - he continued.
16:12
- This change was already considered at the previous Sejm session. At that time, within our camp, broadly understood, including among our coalition partners, there was some uncertainty as to whether the original version was not too far-reaching. We respect our coalition partners. We agreed that it was worth postponing this provision, worth working on it until the next session, i.e., the one that took place now. Individuals were delegated who discussed this matter. I was there on behalf of our party. There was a representative from Solidarna Polska, one of the ministers from the Ministry of Justice, and the version you are effectively seeing is a compromise version. Three steps back on our part, one on theirs. Proposed precisely by our coalition partners. Well, it causes me immense surprise that it turns out that the matter of this provision is supposedly on the agenda of extremely controversial issues and that someone is supposedly defending against, I don't know, ensuring impunity for anyone. These are truly absurd accusations - stated Łukasz Schreiber at a press briefing.

Fogiel:
It's Hard Not to Notice How Easily Solidarna Polska Politicians Aligned Themselves with Those Attacking PiS and Good Change; The Direction and Methods of This Attack Are Sadly the Same
- It's hard not to notice how easily Solidarna Polska politicians have positioned themselves in the same ranks as those who have been attacking PiS and Good Change until now. The direction and methods of this attack are, unfortunately, the same. It is very disappointing that someone is able to stand in one line with our opponents so quickly and, in effect, suggests a rather large ability to communicate with representatives of the other side – stated Radosław Fogiel at a press briefing.
16:31
Fogiel:
I Would Be Very Cautious About Calling It a Gift for PO When Wójcik and Solidarna Polska Colleagues Used the Same Arguments as PO Against PiS
- I would not speak and would be very cautious about calling it a gift for PO at a moment when, unfortunately, at the same conference, Minister Wójcik and his colleagues from Solidarna Polska used the same arguments that the aforementioned PO uses to attack PiS. As for the future of the coalition – the leadership of PiS will meet in the coming days and make a decision on this matter – stated Radosław Fogiel at a press briefing.
17:54
Czerwińska:
In Our Belief, the Coalition No Longer Exists. What Happened Yesterday in the Sejm Was, Unfortunately, in a Sense a Declaration of Coalition Breakup by Our Former Partners
- Our position on this matter has not changed. In our opinion, in our belief, the coalition no longer exists. What happened yesterday in the Sejm was, unfortunately, in a sense a declaration of coalition breakup by our former partners - stated Anita Czerwińska in a conversation with Adrian Klarenbach on Polskie Radio 24.
- Our position is very clear. Very firm. It has not changed on this issue - she added.
19:50
Wójcik:
As Solidarna Polska, we will never vote for anything that could harm farmers or the Polish countryside
19:57
Wójcik:
Attacks on Minister of Justice Regarding Animal Rights Are Complete Nonsense. Kraśko: Do You Call PiS Politicians' Statements Attacks?
- I want to say very clearly that what is appearing on your station's airwaves, these attacks on the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General, as if he were insensitive to animals, to animal rights, is complete nonsense - said Michał Wójcik on TVN24.
- Do you understand, do you call the statements of PiS politicians attacks? - asked Piotr Kraśko.
- I believe they are not in line with reality, because I have been the Deputy Minister of Justice for five years and I know perfectly well what we have managed to achieve for animals during these five years - replied Wójcik.

Gowin:
I am convinced that emotions will subside next week. It's good that we have the weekend now.
20:01
Gowin:
Today and for many years to come, there is no other coalition, not only possible, but primarily one that could serve Poland as well as the United Right has served for the past 5 years.
- Today in Poland, and I believe for many years to come, there is no other coalition, not only possible, but primarily one that could serve Poland as well as the United Right has served for the past 5 years - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
20:02
Wójcik:
Discussion Between Justice Ministry and PM's Office, but Justice Minister Couldn't Agree to Impunity for COVID-19 Officials
- There was a specific question, because, of course, there was a discussion within the framework of work between the Ministry of Justice and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, I don't question that, although it was between officials. The moment the Minister of Justice, the Prosecutor General, found out what the version of the provision was, which provides for the impunity of officials for fighting COVID-19, you know, it's some kind of specification of a state of higher necessity, but it went even further than in the normal provisions of the Penal Code, we cannot agree to that - said Michał Wójcik on TVN24.
20:03
Gowin:
Yesterday in the Sejm, amid a very stormy atmosphere of night talks, various proposals were made from different sides, but I am convinced that Poland needs the entire United Right, not just two-thirds.
- No, I do not confirm this information [about a proposal for an independent coalition with PiS, without Solidarna Polska]. Yesterday in the Sejm, amid a very stormy atmosphere of night talks, various proposals were made from different sides, but I am convinced that Poland needs the entire United Right, not just two-thirds. Moreover, in the Sejm and in politics, arithmetic rules. There is no United Right and no majority without any of the partners - stated Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
20:07
Wójcik:
Coalition Talks Are Almost Finalized. Nearly All Details Have Been Settled. I'm Surprised the Situation Escalated. I Hope We'll Return to Talks
- I would like to say that these coalition talks have practically been finalized. Nearly all details have been settled. I am surprised myself that the situation has escalated. I hope that a compromise will be found, we will return to talks, and that the coalition, which has been good for the last five years, will operate just as well for the next three years - Michał Wójcik said on TVN24.
20:07
Gowin:
A Minority Government is Always Possible, But Only as a Transitional Formula
- A minority government is always possible, but only as a transitional formula. Sooner or later, either a coalition partner is added who guarantees a majority, or early elections are held. Early elections would be, firstly, a defeat for the United Right in a literal sense.
