Wednesday's Political Agenda: Sejm to Discuss Animal Welfare Bill and Immunity for Officials During Epidemic

The Sejm will commence its session at 10:00 with the first reading of a government-proposed amendment to the so-called COVID-19 act. The proposal concerns "introducing changes that will enable the financing of essential public tasks related to the implementation of government policy, serving to counteract the socio-economic consequences of COVID-19 resulting from economic slowdown, including by introducing changes to VAT regulations aimed at correlating the level of this tax's rates with the state of public finances".

At 12:05, the second reading will take place for the PiS (Law and Justice party) bill that would abolish accountability for officials' actions during the epidemic. According to its description, the bill concerns "introducing a solution that will exclude the unlawfulness of an act consisting of the breach of official duties or other regulations by a person acting to prevent and combat the infectious disease COVID-19, and extending the validity of a provision that forms the basis for ordering an employee to work remotely".

At 16:00, the first reading of the PiS-proposed amendment to the Animal Protection Act, the so-called "Five for Animals" bill, will be held. Additionally, the Sejm will also consider another bill concerning animals, submitted last year by Civic Coalition. The discussion on this matter, according to the schedule, is expected to last until 18:00. A second reading is not currently scheduled.

At 20:30, the second reading of the presidential bill on the Medical Fund will take place.

Dworczyk on Animal Rights Protection Bill: An Absolute Majority of Parliamentarians Believes the Law is Necessary. I am Certain the Vote Will Confirm This

“The fundamental matter is that in our belief, the belief of an absolute majority of parliamentarians, and I am certain the vote will confirm this, this is a necessary law that introduces standards present in many European countries and ones that should already be in place in Poland. It is good that it will be adopted. If anyone has any doubts, they can be discussed, but the best forum for discussion is internal party talks, not debates via the media. I do not know the content of this letter [Ardanowski’s]” – said the Head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, on Program I of Polish Radio.

07:54

Dworczyk:

The Voivodeship Administrative Court's ruling is surprising. We await the written justification
“First and foremost, we are awaiting the written justification for this decision [Voivodeship Administrative Court]. This ruling by the Voivodeship Administrative Court is surprising to all of us. It must also be emphasized that this is not a final ruling. I am speaking about the justification because, contrary to what some commentators and politicians repeat, this was not a decision that announced elections, but rather a decision that obligated the Post Office to prepare for the circumstances in which such postal elections should be conducted” - said Michał Dworczyk, head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, on Program I of Polish Radio.

08:17

Budka:

We will support the bill banning fur farming. We will strive to introduce changes to help employees

- We will support the bill regarding the ban on fur farming. We will strive to introduce changes that will help employees, so they don't lose their jobs overnight without any compensation; this is very important. To defend Polish farmers against such drastic consequences. However, we will also demand the introduction of greater sanctions. We will strive to introduce mandatory dog microchipping – said Borys Budka in a conversation with Beata Lubecka on the program “Gość Radia ZET”.

08:24

Budka on Club Leader Election: I Think It Will Be Possible This September
I think it will be possible this September. I have a very simple rule. Today we are meeting again at a club session regarding the current matters of this Sejm session, and there I will announce the date of the next session, because that's how it works - said Borys Budka on Radio ZET.

08:28

Budka:

Today, the club meeting around 12 PM. We will discuss further motions to the prosecutor's office regarding Morawiecki

- Today, the club meeting around 12 PM regarding current laws, regarding impunity plus. We will try to block this law, which grants impunity to Mr. Morawiecki, Mr. Sasin, and other people who break the law in the name of the false principle that they are doing something to fight COVID. We will also discuss further motions to the prosecutor's office regarding Mr. Morawiecki, because yesterday the court stated that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki broke the law, acted without a legal basis - said Borys Budka in Radio ZET.

08:32

Budka:

If Tomczyk Decides to Run for Party Leader, He Can Count on Strong Support

- If Cezary Tomczyk decides to run [for party leader], he is certainly a person who can count on strong support. I have been cooperating with him for many years. I am very satisfied with this cooperation - Borys Budka said on Radio ZET.

08:38

Budka:

The Party is Changing. We've Introduced a Grant System for PO Structures to Foster Active Work in Districts. We've Also Adopted a Procedure to Make Joining the Platform Easier.

- The party is also changing. Yesterday, we adopted a grant system for the Civic Platform structures, allowing for very active work within their districts and towns. This has never existed before. This is money that will be allocated for direct contact with voters, for events of this kind. We have also adopted a procedure that makes joining the Civic Platform easier and simpler - Borys Budka said on Radio ZET.

08:45

Sasin:

No Letter from the Minister of Agriculture Regarding 'Five for Animals'. We Can Speak of a Position or Doubts Conveyed to a Narrow Circle, Not Public Opposition.

- No, I did not receive any letter, and what's more, I can say there was no such letter [from the Minister of Agriculture concerning 'Five for Animals'], in the sense of a broad dissemination of the Minister of Agriculture's stance. From what I know, as I also had the opportunity to discuss the matter with the Minister, one can rather speak of a certain position or doubts that the Minister expressed regarding the draft amendment to the Animal Protection Act, which was conveyed to a rather narrow circle of people and in no way can be treated as any public opposition to this project - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka Political Salon".

08:51

Sasin on the "Five for Animals": I Want to Ensure We Are Determined for This Project to Be Adopted

- I want to ensure that we are determined for this project [Five for Animals] to be adopted, because it is a civilizational project that refers to solutions functioning in many European countries, and I personally see no reason, but I think that the vast majority of my colleagues from PiS also see no reason why such solutions should not exist in Poland - stated Jacek Sasin in "Trójka Political Salon".

09:03

Sasin on the "Five for Animals" Bill: I Don't Think This Project Will Be Radically Changed During Parliamentary Works

- I don't think this project will be radically changed during parliamentary works. I don't know, I can't say at this moment [if the vacatio legis will be changed]. The discussion is still ahead of us. Today marks the beginning of parliamentary work on this bill - stated Jacek Sasin in "Trójka's Political Salon".

09:18

Sasin on the Voivodeship Administrative Court Ruling on Elections: "I am personally surprised by this verdict. The decision was based on a law that was not questioned in any way, and the majority of the opposition also voted for the law."

- I am personally surprised by this verdict [of the Voivodeship Administrative Court regarding the elections], because first and foremost, this decision was based on a law whose validity and constitutionality were not questioned in any way. It is a law that the majority of the opposition also voted for. This decision was a requirement of the moment, in an absolutely extraordinary situation, on the one hand, the epidemic and the need to protect the health and lives of Poles in this difficult situation, and on the other hand, the constitutional obligation to hold the presidential elections within the specified deadline - stated Jacek Sasin in "Salon polityczny Trójki".

09:20

Sasin on Voivodeship Administrative Court Ruling on Elections: 'The Verdict is Not Final, the Prime Minister and Government Legal Services Will Analyze the Decision When We Receive the Full Justification. I Do Not Rule Out Appealing It.'

- The verdict [of the Voivodeship Administrative Court regarding the elections] is not final. We will certainly, and the Prime Minister and the government's legal services, will analyze this decision when we receive the full justification, and I do not rule out that we will appeal it. In my absolute conviction, these were actions that the government had to take to be in compliance with the Constitution, in compliance with the applicable law – stated Jacek Sasin in "Polityczne Trójki Salon".

09:32

Sasin:

Regarding the government's structure and its composition, as far as I know, an agreement has been fundamentally reached, so this is not a discussion about positions. It's a discussion about the program.

- At this moment, I will certainly not communicate anything. These talks are ongoing. There are still many matters to be clarified. Primarily in the programmatic scope, I want to say this clearly. Regarding a certain government structure and what this government will look like, as far as I know, an agreement has been fundamentally reached on this matter, so this is not a discussion about positions, ministries, or who will have what influence in the government. It's a discussion about the program, because we have three years of this term ahead of us, and it is important that this time is used well - stated Jacek Sasin in "Polityczny Salon Trójki".

10:07

Lipiński on the Voivodeship Administrative Court's ruling on postal voting: It's more politics. We've repeatedly said that courts are often involved in political activities

- It's more politics. We've repeatedly said that courts are often involved in political activities, and these court decisions can be commented on. I completely disagree with that; the pandemic could not have been allowed to halt Polish democracy - Adam Lipiński stated on Radio Wrocław.

10:08

Witek on Ombudsman Selection: "On My Initiative, I Will Ask the Chairman to Convene the Committee, Because We Need an Opinion, and if Possible, During This Sejm Session, We Will Do It in This Sejm Session."
In accordance with the regulations, until a new Ombudsman is elected, the current one, even if their term ends, continues to serve, so continuity is maintained. As there was no initiative from the committee chairman, and today at the meeting of the presidium and the convention, I said that on my initiative, I will ask the chairman to convene the committee, because we need an opinion, and if possible, during this Sejm session, we will do it during this Sejm session - stated Elżbieta Witek at a press briefing in the Sejm.

10:12

Lipiński:

I Will Strongly Support Morawiecki to Become Party Vice-Chairman

- Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is already in the party leadership, so there is no new action in this regard - Adam Lipiński said on Radio Wrocław.

- He can always become vice-chairman - stated journalist Dariusz Wieczorkowski.

- I would wish him that and I will strongly support him to become the party's vice-chairman - replied the politician.

10:15

Witek:

Ardanowski's Differing Stance Known; Debate and Vote Will Clarify Majority Support for the Bill
It has been known for a long time that Minister Ardanowski holds a somewhat different position than the rest of the Law and Justice parliamentary club or the authorities. He has expressed his stance. There will be a debate in the Sejm. I think parliament is precisely the place where this political debate should take place. We have different positions, we approach this topic differently. I believe the vote, which will be the final form of adopting this act, will be the best evidence of how we approach this topic here in parliament, and I will remind you that we do represent very diverse political environments. We also know the positions, at least from the media, of the political stances of various parliamentary clubs that support these acts. There are also those who do not support these acts, these two acts, because there are two projects. The debate will take place, there will be a vote, and we will know what the majority is when it comes to this project - stated Elżbieta Witek at a press briefing in the Sejm.

Terlecki on the Bill Waiving Officials' Responsibility for Actions During the Epidemic: 'As I Heard Yesterday in Coalition Talks, Solidarna Polska Will Likely Support It, Just Needs Some Final Touches'

- As I heard yesterday in coalition talks, [Solidarna Polska] will likely support [the bill waiving officials' responsibility for actions during the epidemic], they just have some final touches to introduce. We'll see [if there will be amendments] - stated Ryszard Terlecki in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

11:52

Terlecki:

Coalition talks will continue today. We've moved forward a bit

- [Coalition talks] will continue today. They start at 2:00 PM. Yesterday it was 5.5 hours. We have moved forward a bit, though. This allows for an optimistic outlook. Everything will be clear next week - stated Ryszard Terlecki in an interview with journalists in the Sejm.

11:53

Terlecki on the "Five for Animals": Discipline Applies. I Assume Everyone Will Vote "Yes". Ardanowski is Exaggerating, Dramatizing, and is Wrong, but We Respect Different Opinions. Until the Moment of Truth, One Can Have Their Own View

- The Minister [Ardanowski] has been raising reservations about this act [Five for Animals] for some time. I think this letter was precisely an expression of these doubts, but discipline applies in the party caucus, so I assume all MPs will vote for the act. Certainly, he is exaggerating, dramatizing, and is wrong here, but we respect different opinions, and as long as the moment of truth, meaning the vote, has not arrived, one can hold their own opinion or raise their questions - stated Ryszard Terlecki in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm.

12:48

PMM:

Seeing Situations Like Jaworzyna Śląska Convinces Us Police Safety Must Be Strengthened

- The individual instruments, procedures, and capabilities that will strengthen the actions of police officers on duty are our goal. We have also seen, in recent years, many contradictory situations on the streets and in cities of Western countries. On the one hand, very brutal law enforcement agencies, very brutal, which is worth emphasizing in countries that sometimes dare to lecture us on certain aspects of state functioning, and on the other hand, helplessness. Helplessness of those police services in many situations. We will be very consistent in learning from the mistakes of others, and on the other hand, when we see situations like the one in Jaworzyna Śląska, we are convinced that the safety of police officers must be strengthened - said Mateusz Morawiecki during a joint press conference with the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.

12:49

Kamiński:

We Must More Effectively Combat Crimes Against Officials. One Method Will Be Stricter Penalties for Committing These Offenses

- We must more effectively combat crimes against officials. One of the methods will be to toughen penalties for committing these offenses, meaning violating the inviolability of an official, active assault on an official, especially an assault where an official suffers bodily harm, and insulting an official. I declare that by the end of the month, I will present to the Prime Minister a draft amendment to the regulations in this regard, increasing penalties for these offenses, but also introducing, mandatory for the court in case of a conviction, regardless of the amount of the penalty imposed, an additional financial penalty. A severe financial penalty that will deter potential criminals - said Mariusz Kamiński during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

14:05

PiS Announces Amendments to Provisions on Lack of Criminal Liability in the Fight Against Coronavirus

One concerns Article 10d, which seems to be the most controversial from the opposition's perspective. The opposition has been raising its concerns about the so-called impunity of public officials' actions for quite some time. The provisions of this act, which we are submitting, are primarily intended to ensure that actions taken during a threat to health and life, as they were most often undertaken, have primacy over the situation related to current legal regulations. The proposed solutions do not introduce impunity, as some present it” - said Andrzej Kosztowniak from PiS in the Sejm.

14:26

Obajtek:

Since Trzaskowski did not retract the false information about Orlen in all outlets where it was published, we have sent him a pre-litigation letter demanding an apology and a PLN 15,000 donation to charity.

Obajtek: Since Trzaskowski did not retract the false information about Orlen in all outlets where it was published, we have sent him a pre-litigation letter demanding an apology and a PLN 15,000 donation to charity. He was also asked to publish the apology on the same portals, and to remove the false information. Today, the capital city has been served with a summons. We expect a swift reaction!

17:32

Suski:

Countries that Respect Animals, Respect People

- I believe this is a momentous occasion in the history of Poland, given that our country, represented here by us, representing our voters, the Polish people, has been changing for many years. It is changing, unfortunately sometimes too slowly, in my opinion, but it is changing for the better. And just as one can say, in a humanitarian dimension, a person who loves animals also loves people. Scientific research indicates that the majority of serial killers are those who abused animals in their childhood. The same can be said about the history of nations or concerning entire states. Those countries that respect animals also respect people. Because goodness and love are directed towards all living beings, not only to our species, Homo sapiens, but to all, and therefore I believe that this day is a bright day in the history of Poland – stated Marek Suski during the first reading of the so-called Five for Animals.

17:34

Suski:

What is fur today? It's simply a game, because nowadays there are clothes that don't need to be made of animal fur

- Animals are weaker than humans, because humans have guns, traps, and unfortunately, humans also breed animals, also for fun. Because what is fur nowadays? It's simply a game, because nowadays there are clothes that don't need to be made of animal fur - stated Marek Suski during the first reading of the so-called Five for Animals.

17:39

Suski:

Claiming we are liquidating the agricultural sector is false. No one is forbidding farmers from raising pigs or cattle. It's only a ban on the inhumane slaughter of these animals.

- Saying that we are liquidating the agricultural sector is simply untrue. No one is forbidding farmers from raising pigs or cattle. It is only a ban on the inhumane slaughter of these animals, because that is butchery, murder. It is not putting animals to sleep with the least amount of pain - stated Marek Suski during the first reading of the so-called 'Five for Animals'.

17:43

Suski to Piekarska on Animal Protection Law Amendment: "We Will Also Consider the Proposals You Included in the Committee Work, as They Are Indeed Worthy of Consideration"
PiS supports this draft [of the amendment to the animal protection law], and in the committee work, we will also consider the proposals that the honourable MP [Piekarska] has included, because they are indeed worthy of consideration - stated Marek Suski during the first reading of the so-called "Five for Animals".

17:50

Suski:

"I have photos here showing how inhumane it is. These are photos of what these farms look like. This is what we want to get rid of in Poland."
- Regarding ritual slaughter, we will try to mitigate it during this session by introducing an amendment that will allow these people to compensate for losses. We also want to take care of the people. However, I have photos here showing how inhumane it is. Ladies and gentlemen, here are photos of what these farms look like. This is what we want to get rid of in Poland, we want to be a country that will not be ashamed of being pointed at for such shameful practices - said Marek Suski during the first reading of the so-called "Five for Animals".

- If you were to see photos or videos of what ritual slaughter looks like, how these animals suffer, how they hang on a hook with their throats slit so that the blood drains from them, truly, when we watched it in the committee, the women cried. Our hearts were breaking. We simply cannot allow such inhumane methods of making money, because it is simply shameful. Let people make money, but in a humane way. Saying that we are liquidating the agricultural industry is simply untrue. Nobody is forbidding farmers from raising pigs or cattle. It is only a ban on the inhumane slaughter of these animals, because it is butchery, it is murder, it is not putting animals to sleep with the least pain - he continued.

- PiS supports this project, and in the committee's work, we will also consider the proposals that the MP [Piekarska] has included, because they are indeed worthy of consideration - he added.

18:17

Sawicki on Ritual Slaughter: It's Not Just About Poultry Farms, It's a System of Interconnected Vessels
It's not just about the farms producing this poultry, but it's also about the entire feed industry, it's about producers of grains, corn, wheat; it's truly a system of interconnected vessels. If we cut off one branch, others will collapse. That is why I am in favour of seeking positive solutions. Certainly, my Koalicja Polska club will not vote for the PiS project in the formula you have now proposed, but I am pleased that you promise it will be sent to committee. I want to say this: concerning fur animals, there is indeed a global trend, it needs to be humanized, it needs to be abandoned. But abandoned in a civilised manner. We cannot tell entrepreneurs, who only half a year ago were investing, that in a year's time, we couldn't care less about you. Please. A ten-year transitional period to phase out production or ten years of compensation for lost profits, and then we can talk about consensus on this matter – Marek Sawicki said during the first reading of the so-called "Five for Animals".

18:18

Bosak Submits Motion to Reject Animal Protection Bill Amendment in First Reading

- On behalf of the Confederation parliamentary club, I am submitting a motion to reject this harmful, anti-Polish, anti-freedom, anti-agricultural, and anti-breeding "piece of junk" in the first reading - stated Krzysztof Bosak during the first reading of the so-called "Five for Animals" bill.

18:35

Kaczmarczyk on the "Five for Animals": In the second reading, as Solidarna Polska together with Porozumienie, we will submit amendments. At this moment, I recommend voting to reject this bill in the first reading.

- This is a test of whether the people who trusted us can count on us. Can they count on the Minister of Agriculture. Can they count on President Andrzej Duda - stated Norbert Kaczmarczyk during the first reading of the so-called "Five for Animals".

- As Solidarna Polska, together with Porozumienie, we have submitted amendments to this law in the second reading. In this situation, we will submit amendments in the second reading. At this moment, I recommend voting to reject this bill in the first reading - he continued.

18:53

Zandberg:

Skinning Minks is a Cruel Practice We Should Have Ended Long Ago. Now a Few Millionaires Who Got Rich on Animal Cruelty Are Protesting, Along with Their Political Puppets from the Brown Benches.

- Skinning minks is a cruel practice that we should have ended long ago. This also applies to getting rich through inhumane slaughter. Contrary to what Mr. Bosak dreams of, Poles are not barbarians, and I am very glad that we have begun work on this bill. Kudos to those who have brought this about. I have no doubt how to vote on this matter. Of course, a few millionaires who got rich on animal cruelty are protesting now. And their political puppets, there from the brown benches, are protesting. But contrary to what one might hear from them, phasing out fur farming will not have significant economic importance. Because this is a declining industry. However, one thing needs to be done. Not many people work there, but we need to take care of those employees who have been employed there until now - said Adrian Zandberg in the Sejm.

19:23

Sejm Sends 'Five for Animals' to Committee; 339 MPs Oppose Rejection, Vote Expected Tomorrow Evening

Only 35 MPs from the Law and Justice (PiS) party – including representatives of Solidary Poland – voted to reject the so-called 'Five for Animals' bill in its first reading. Another 15 MPs – some representatives from Agreement – abstained. In total, only 63 MPs voted for rejection, with 339 against and 18 abstaining.

Now, the proposal – along with the Civic Coalition's draft – will be sent to the agriculture committee, which must consider the bills promptly, as the second reading is scheduled for tomorrow at 13:00. In practice, this means the Sejm will likely vote on the bill during tomorrow evening's session.

20:03

Sasin:

I understand there's a lobby determined to convince us that Polish agriculture can't exist without fur farming. I disagree.

- The [farmers' protest] doesn't make a particular impression on me. I understand there's a lobby determined to convince us that Polish agriculture can't exist without fur farming. I disagree - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:15

Sasin:

Ardanowski is known for strong statements, but they are completely unfounded. Frankly, I'm a bit surprised he used such terms. There is no betrayal of the Polish countryside's interests here.

- These are internal remarks, indeed conveyed internally within this discussion. In no way is this an open letter, as it was presented. Minister Ardanowski is known for such strong statements, but they are completely unfounded. Frankly speaking, I am a little surprised that he used precisely these terms. There is no betrayal of the Polish countryside's interests here. This is the implementation of announcements that have been coming from us for a very long time, and moreover, these are solutions of what could be called a civilizational character. They function in many EU countries. I don't understand why it should be any different in Poland - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:23

Sasin on the "Five for Animals": I hope that when it comes to the final vote, our United Right partners will also support these solutions

- However, I hope that when it comes to the final vote [on the "Five for Animals"], our partners from the United Right will also support these solutions. Perhaps there are some issues that require clarification - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

Sikorski:

Patryk Jaki's English is improving, but I'm helpless against what he says. I saw the text of a resolution from one commune stating it should be free from LGBT ideology.

- Patryk Jaki's English is getting better, I must praise it, but I am helpless against what he says. I saw with my own eyes the text of a resolution from one commune, which stated that the commune is to be free from LGBT ideology - said Radosław Sikorski in an interview with Monika Olejnik on the program "Kropka nad i" on TVN24.

Sikorski:

Kaczyński Once Said He Had 'Non-Normative Heterosexuals' in His Government and Was Okay With It. Now He's Fighting LGBT. This Culture War Was Imported from Russia via the Church.

- Jarosław Kaczyński, during the government in which I served, said that he even had non-normative heterosexual individuals in his government and it didn't bother him. Now he's suddenly fighting against LGBT and singles, and supporting Archbishop Jędraszewski. You must admit, it's quite surprising. I believe this culture war was imported to Poland from Russia through the church channel - said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24.

Sasin:

Don't fool yourselves, this is not the decline of the United Right. On the contrary, we are entering a new, very intense phase after the recent elections. We are now on the cusp of a government reconstruction and a new program agenda.

- Please, really don't fool yourselves, I'm speaking to those who believe this is the decline of the United Right. On the contrary, we are entering a new, very intense phase after the recent presidential elections. We are now on the cusp of a government reconstruction and, above all, a new program agenda - stated Jacek Sasin in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

Olejnik on the Voivodeship Administrative Court ruling on Morawiecki: If the Prime Minister had honor, should he resign if the verdict is upheld? Sikorski: This cascade of irregularities in many countries would have already led to the government's downfall
- Do you think that if the Prime Minister had honor, should he resign if the verdict is upheld? - asked Monika Olejnik. - In any other country, such a scale of irregularities, these ventilators at double the price, this whole cascade of irregularities and suspicious transactions, in many countries would have already led to the government's downfall - said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24.

Sasin on Kaczyński's potential government entry: 'I am absolutely for it, but I want to say very clearly. These are rumors and there are absolutely no grounds at this time to envision such a scenario'

- Personally, I would very much wish for that, because it would indeed put an end to all these speculations about alleged different centers of power. Moreover, the other leaders of the United Right are in the government. President Kaczyński is not in this government, so that would probably also level things out somewhere... I am absolutely for it, but I want to say very clearly. These are rumors and there are absolutely no grounds at this time to envision such a scenario - stated Jacek Sasin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".

Sikorski on SP's Opposition to Bill Abolishing Officials' Liability During Epidemic: "Ziobro has lost hope of being Kaczyński's dauphin. They are preparing a bill to potentially form a coalition and a joint list with Konfederacja."

- I would like to think that the Minister of Justice has discovered a sense of justice within himself, but we all know this is positioning. Because the minister has lost hope of being Kaczyński's dauphin, they are afraid they won't be on the lists in the next elections, so they are preparing a political project, in order to potentially form a coalition and a joint list with Konfederacja – said Radosław Sikorski on TVN24.
