Between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM at the Belvedere Palace, a ceremony will be held for the ambassadors of Vietnam, Panama, Great Britain, Norway, Luxembourg, and Germany to present their letters of credence to President Andrzej Duda.

As announced, another round of talks between the leaders of Zjednoczona Prawica (United Right) is scheduled for today. The discussions will focus on the upcoming government reconstruction, a new coalition agreement, and program proposals for the commencing autumn political season.

Also today, the national board of Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform) will convene, as will the parliamentary club of Koalicja Obywatelska (Civic Coalition). One of the topics is expected to be changes in the club's functioning.

The Koalicja Polska (Polish Coalition) club has also scheduled a session for today, as Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz mentioned yesterday on Polsat News: "There are signals and suggestions being made public, for instance, by MP Sachajka. We will have the opportunity to discuss this tomorrow at the club meeting. We, as PSL, are not considering a coalition with PiS. We discussed this at the National Council."

At 10:00 AM, a parliamentary subcommittee will continue its work on the presidential bill regarding the Medical Fund, so that at 7:30 PM, the parliamentary Health Committee can address it. The president's proposal will most likely be adopted at the upcoming session, which begins tomorrow – the second reading is already scheduled, as is a meeting of the parliamentary committee regarding amendments submitted during the second reading.

- The decision [regarding support for the raises bill] was a collegial decision, meaning it was made by a group of about a dozen people. There was no clear opposition. It was a mistake, and therefore this mistake was rectified. I will not speak about this publicly because it is not my role to lynch anyone [who negotiated the raises bill]. - Today we will set the date for the elections [for the head of the KO parliamentary club], I hope, a joint one, and certainly this role will be separated, precisely so I can focus on the work primarily that you mentioned, meaning in the field, rebuilding structures, because these years of neglect are very significant, sometimes even decades-long in some places - stated Borys Budka in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- First and foremost, we are talking about the fact that our bill was [presented] during the previous term and could have been passed. In principle, we agree with this, and we are very strongly in favor of solutions that introduce these bans. However, we demand that the government present a clear plan for this industry, as it represents tens of thousands of jobs. I am in favor of a ban on fur farming. I say this clearly - stated Borys Budka in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- We need to clarify what will happen with waste in the fishing and poultry sectors. We will need to demand a clear plan for retraining for these farms and a plan to save jobs. I absolutely do not want such an extension of the vacatio legis, but I would like there to be clear criteria for aid to entrepreneurs and aid to employees during this year, because in some places entire villages could become unemployed. However, I say this clearly: we are in favor of a ban on fur farming, but we demand, and we will submit amendments, to protect people from losing their jobs. Either pay compensation or provide credit - he continued.

„Being in isolation, in relative seclusion for over half a year has caused a significant increase in health problems in Poland. It is no secret that prevention and other regular check-ups that we conducted before the pandemic have been neglected, and this will result in what is called a health deficit. Fighting this health deficit is another challenge that must be addressed immediately” – said Minister Adam Niedzielski in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet. 

"The September-October turn is entirely possible, although a slight shift might occur. Fortunately, these discussions are conceived in such a way, and this reconstruction is not being rushed. Next year, the minimum wage for work will amount to PLN 2.8 thousand. This represents an increase of PLN 200 compared to the minimum wage in effect in 2020 (PLN 2.6 thousand). The government has adopted an ordinance concerning the amount of the minimum wage for work and the amount of the minimum hourly rate in 2021, submitted by the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

On Wednesday at 4:00 PM, the first reading is scheduled for the bill amending the Animal Protection Act, submitted by Law and Justice (PiS), commonly known as the 'Five for Animals'. Additionally, the Sejm will also consider another animal-related bill submitted last year by Civic Coalition. The discussion on this matter, according to the schedule, is expected to last until 6:00 PM. A second reading is not currently planned.

Earlier, starting at 12:05 PM, the second reading will take place for the PiS bill abolishing official liability for actions taken during the epidemic. According to its description, the bill concerns "introducing a solution that will exclude the unlawfulness of an act consisting of violating official duties or other regulations by a person acting to prevent and combat the infectious disease COVID-19, and extending the validity of the provision that forms the basis for ordering an employee to perform remote work".

In turn, on Thursday at 4:30 PM, the first reading of the bill amending this year's budget will be held. Subsequently, a 3-hour voting block is planned.

- Today, an interim decision by the Voivodeship Administrative Court concerning the order for elections at Poczta Polska was made. We are surprised by this decision because we believe the Prime Minister's decision was made in accordance with the law, based on a special act that was adopted by the Sejm - said Piotr Müller during a press briefing.

- We are currently awaiting the written justification for the ruling itself. Therefore, we will make such a decision [regarding an appeal] after obtaining the written justification. If I remember correctly, there are about 30 days for the court to provide this justification - he added.

“Today it turns out that Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki bears full responsibility for the illegal actions of Poczta Polska. We demand the Prime Minister's immediate resignation. This is no longer just a matter of honor. It is a matter of personal, elementary decency. Mateusz Morawiecki bears political and legal responsibility for the illegal actions of state bodies that acted on his orders,” said PO chairman Borys Budka at a press conference in the Sejm.

“Tomorrow, the KO parliamentary club will again submit a motion to the prosecutor's office to investigate Prime Minister Morawiecki's illegal actions,” he added. 

"In Civic Platform, Civic Coalition, we do not concern ourselves with the musical tastes of our members," said the leader of Civic Platform, Borys Budka, at a press conference in the Sejm.

This definition simply does not exist, and no one is trying to create such a definition at the EU level regarding the documents we have signed, the treaty documents, to make such a decision – stated Beata Kempa in an interview with Adrian Klarenbach on PR24.
