At 10:00, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will meet with representatives of parliamentary parties regarding the situation in Belarus.

- I would like to announce an invitation for the opposition next week, in order to discuss Belarus again in the current state of events. I am glad that this conversation with the opposition was constructive, that the representatives of the opposition, in the vast majority, agreed with our actions and supported them. I think it is bringing results, both in the EP and in the international arena - said PM Morawiecki on Polish Radio.

The European Parliament will hold a vote on a critical report by Spanish MEP Lopez Aguilar concerning the state of the rule of law in Poland. The debate is scheduled for 17:30.

- It is clear that Jarosław Kaczyński is playing various games. I spoke primarily with Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz about our cooperation and the future of Poland, and I saw no hint of a possibility for Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to cooperate with Law and Justice. This would, by the way, mean the end of our coalition cooperation with PSL - stated Michał Kamiński in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

– Today we live in Poland in a system where half of Poles hate the other half of Poles. [Jarosław Kaczyński would like to be] more loved by this other half. He wants to soften this other half, and therefore, to have more room to maneuver on his side, because the more PiS clings to the right, the less room for maneuver Jarosław Kaczyński has, the more he must reckon with Rydzyk, Ziobro, and his own right wing – said Michał Kamiński on TVN24.

- The Holy Spirit and common sense should join a coalition with Law and Justice - said Michał Kamiński on TVN24.

- I am referring to the politics of my political opponents. They need the virtues of the Holy Spirit, prudence, etc., moderation. Law and Justice must primarily change itself. If it wants to be better for Poland and wants lasting and consistent changes to remain after these governments, then PiS must stop treating its opponents the way Jarosław Kaczyński treats them, i.e., as second-class citizens - he added.

- These games with PSL, or with Kukiz, or with anyone else are necessary because, following the teachings of Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin, along with the successes of Law and Justice in this case, class struggle intensifies. In this case, the struggle within Law and Justice is intensifying, because today, after the election cycle, they feel they no longer have an opposition, they no longer need to win against the opposition at this stage. Today, all the dynamics and what makes their eyes burn and their hands tremble is the money that is still to be had in our Republic. „The talks are ongoing. Tomorrow, we have a continuation of the talks. We will see how it proceeds. At this moment, we are at a stage where some things have already been agreed upon. From our side, there is a desire to conclude these talks as soon as possible and sign a new coalition agreement. Then we can proceed with the government reconstruction and our autumn program offensive. Will it be by the turn of September and October? We are constantly hoping for that and assuming such a timeframe. Then the Prime Minister will announce the new government structure and possibly small, but personal, changes” - said Krzysztof Sobolewski, head of the PiS Executive Committee, on Radio Jedynka. 

„This is a draft bill that we, as Law and Justice, are presenting. We hope that our coalition partners will be as united on the issue of animal protection as we are. We are counting on cross-party solidarity in the matter of animal rights protection. We hope that this bill, if there is no obstruction from the Senate, will be passed very quickly. I hope that Marshal Grodzki shares a similar view on animal protection” - said Krzysztof Sobolewski, head of PiS's Executive Committee, on Radio Jedynka. 

- I am not a representative of the strict leadership of PiS, so I do not know the details of these talks. However, it is normal in politics to discuss the program, organizational solutions, and also personnel. If someone claims otherwise, they are simply a hypocrite. Therefore, we are dealing with such a stage of cooperation, when it comes to the United Right, that we must work out these details for the next 3 years. In short, program, organization, personnel. And I am convinced that these negotiations will soon find a positive conclusion - stated Michał Dworczyk in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- Prime Minister Emilewicz has a tremendous contribution to the functioning of the government, while the final organizational and personnel solutions will be the result of an agreement between the close leadership of our political formation and Prime Minister Morawiecki. In my opinion, final decisions on the shape of the Council of Ministers after reconstruction have not yet been made, but I am not a representative of the close leadership of PiS - stated Michał Dworczyk on TVP1's "Political Quarter of an Hour".

“No, no one has had such talks [about leaving the government] with me. These talks [about reconstruction] are ongoing, they are intense. Marshal Terlecki always assesses the other coalition partners in an extremely colorful way, but that is the political color of Mr. Marshal” - said Deputy Prime Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

- The [Five for Animals] act is not a new document, it is not a new project. This project, or a similar project, has already been in the Sejm. It seems that it will now be easier to find cross-party consensus for it. We have a 3-year period without elections ahead of us, and I deeply believe that it is during this time that many projects can be processed in a calmer atmosphere, where there will be calm discussion, discussion where arguments are used, and not just emotions calculated for the approaching election campaign - stated Michał Dworczyk in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- Regarding this segment of the market, there are about 1000 people employed in this industry, therefore the agricultural industry as such in Poland is much broader. It is obvious that people who run this type of business are concerned about these solutions and of course, owners of such companies probably also have influence on many politicians or many media outlets, however, the discussion can take place in a heated atmosphere, as long as it is substantive - the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister continued.

"I am not going into business. I am not going to Konin, as some have suggested. I am also not going to London, to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. My plans for the next three years are tied to parliamentary activity, and that is what I intend to fulfill," said Deputy Prime Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz on RMF FM.

"Following the solutions adopted in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands a few years ago, where bans were also implemented. However, approximately 5 years were given for retraining. - This is an anti-Polish law. The law that is unjustly called "Kaczyński's Five" is an anti-Polish law. - It is very strange for us that Platforma and the Left rushed to Jarosław Kaczyński so quickly, waving their hands: yes, yes, hello, it's us good folks here, Mr. Jarosław, we will support your bill. I believe that first and foremost, we need to do what we have been saying from the very beginning when this 'five' appeared, namely, to achieve symmetry and balance between the interests of Polish entrepreneurs and the protection and health of animals, because no one with a sound mind will accept what is obviously happening concerning the so-called black sheep in this fur industry, or those farmers or people who simply abuse animals. “Anyone can judge decisions, but in the thicket of regulations, the tiniest mistake can be made, but also while simultaneously saving a life. I am talking about various situations where we save lives and health in relation to violating a minor rule from a procedure, which shouldn't be the most important, and this regulation is for that purpose” – said Deputy Minister Waldemar Buda from PiS in an interview with journalists in the Sejm. 

- The meeting was very fruitful, lasting over three hours. A substantive discussion. What is encouraging is the agreement on the fundamental issue. All politicians, regardless of the political camp, club, or circle they represent, are concerned with the most important matter. This most important matter is the sovereignty of Belarus - said Michał Dworczyk during a briefing after the meeting with the opposition regarding the situation in Belarus.

- Very promising declarations were made, I think they will translate into concrete actions in the coming days. Cooperation within the European Union, within the European Parliament, and discussions about intensifying parliamentary diplomacy efforts. This concerns not only the European Parliament, as its representatives from various factions participated in the meeting, but also Polish parliamentarians, who, within the framework of bilateral relations of international groups, will undertake actions to ensure that the issue of Belarus is present on the international stage - he continued.

- Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also announced that at the upcoming meeting of European leaders, he will present, on behalf of the Visegrad Group, the so-called "Marshall Plan for Belarus." This is a project and a proposal for a series of actions, mainly economic but not exclusively, that would be offered to Belarus in the event of repeated and properly conducted elections - he added.

This week, the Prime Minister is flying to Lithuania for intergovernmental consultations. First, on the first evening, he will go alone, and the next day a large part of the Council of Ministers will join the Prime Minister. On September 17th, these intergovernmental consultations will take place. One of the very important topics will also be the issue of Belarus - said Michał Dworczyk during a briefing after a meeting with the opposition regarding the situation in Belarus.

- Another matter was the report on the government's actions to create opportunities for Belarusian companies to relocate to Poland. This primarily concerns the IT sector, but not exclusively. We certainly wish for all Belarusians to be able to function freely and unhindered in their country, and for businesses to develop in such a way, but for now, the situation is such that some companies are considering leaving Belarus. We are proposing special conditions for these companies. They have been prepared by the Ministry of Development in cooperation with other ministries - said Michał Dworczyk during a briefing after a meeting with the opposition regarding the situation in Belarus.

The draft law on animal protection, submitted by Law and Justice (PiS) and promoted by the party's youth wing, has been sent for its first reading in the Sejm.

Among its provisions are a ban on fur farming, restrictions related to ritual slaughter, and the mandatory presence of law enforcement officers during interventions by non-governmental organizations.

All indications suggest that the PiS proposal will be considered at the upcoming session, which begins on Wednesday.

- There are such signals and suggestions voiced publicly by, for example, MP Sachajko. We will have the opportunity to discuss this tomorrow at our caucus. We, as PSL, are not entering into a coalition with PiS. We discussed this at the Main Council - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on Polsat News.

- We did not promise a coalition with PiS in these elections. We promised that we would try to achieve a result that would enable a change of government. This did not happen. Poles have decided differently, and we respect that. We will not allow our credibility to be diminished today. If anyone heads in that direction, they must remember one thing: it is a one-way ticket. - Of course, improving animal welfare or abolishing keeping dogs on a chain, I am absolutely in favour. But liquidating an entire industry overnight during a crisis, when a country like Denmark, we cannot say it is not an ecological country, why aren't we showing countries where this industry functions and is twice as large as in Poland and are very ecological? - We will definitely submit amendments, because such an approach to one of the important branches, which is Polish agriculture, by a party that received so many votes from the countryside, is offensive. - Slaughtering the poultry industry, those who produce beef, export it, is not good. It is better to talk to the importers. Marek Sawicki did this, he talked to representatives of Arab countries about changing the slaughter rules a bit, and it worked. So we have a completely different approach. An economic one, not one where Tok Tok announces the liquidation of an important industry, an important part of the Polish economy, Polish agriculture. It is simply unserious - he added.

- We won't become just a party; we'll add a party to the think tank and the Poland 2050 association. A party is an inevitable step because it's easier to manage elections with a party. We'll have to watch out for this, because Jarosław Kaczyński's legislative and electoral creativity knows no bounds - said Szymon Hołownia in Kropka nad I.

"I wrote to the Left because this group, in many respects, has points of convergence with us regarding the arrangement of public services, the issues of the excluded, and the natural environment.
