Niedzielski:

I Get Vaccinated Annually. I Will Encourage All My Colleagues in the Government and State Structures to Get Vaccinated Against the Flu

- Yes, of course. I get vaccinated every year [against the flu]. Yes, I will encourage all my colleagues in the government, in state structures, to get vaccinated [against the flu] – stated Adam Niedzielski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

Piontkowski:

I would advise looking at what ZNP does with a pinch of salt, as the data they provide is often unrealistic and untrue. It serves solely propaganda purposes.

- I would advise looking at what ZNP does with a pinch of salt, as the data they provide is often unrealistic and untrue. It serves solely propaganda purposes. I would remind you that at one time they predicted that 100,000 teachers would be laid off from schools, and instead, a few thousand new positions appeared; I'm referring to the reform carried out by Minister Zalewska - said Dariusz Piontkowski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Poranek Siódma9.

Niedzielski:

A Doctor Can't Diagnose COVID Without a Test

- I would like us to look at the autumn wave problem somewhat through the eyes of a patient. First and foremost, neither we ourselves, nor even a doctor without an examination, without a test, can determine whether we have COVID, whether we have another respiratory infection, or whether it is the flu, so we are left with a question mark. How we tried to deal with this question mark in previous seasons was by going to our family doctor. We want the same to happen this year - stated Adam Niedzielski in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

- We start with a tele-consultation, meaning by calling, arranging a conversation, so that the doctor, without the need for contact, thus reducing the risk of transmission, can tell us whether we should stay home, or if it is something that can be identified immediately, perhaps already start treatment, but generally we start with a tele-consultation - the Minister of Health continued.

- We need to wait and observe ourselves at home, perhaps while on sick leave, maybe taking some strengthening medication. We wait, we observe ourselves for 3 to 5 days. If these symptoms persist, a follow-up visit is necessary, and then a direct, physical examination is required - he emphasized.

Niedzielski on Preventive Quarantine: We Should Stay Home and Not Be Reckless

- I think that preventively we should stay at home and not be reckless, treat it as sick leave with an isolation regime, and still try to avoid contact, because the risk of coronavirus always hangs over us - stated Adam Niedzielski in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM, referring to preventive isolation before a doctor's visit.

Kraska:

Three Districts in Red Zone, Seven in Yellow. Krakow and Tatra District Removed from List
Of the 18 districts, we now have only 10 in both zones, which shows that it is working. If we introduce these restrictions, the residents of these districts comply, and new infections in these districts are decreasing. In the red category, we currently have three districts: in the Małopolskie Voivodeship, Nowy Sącz and Limanowski districts, which moved from the yellow category to the red category, and in the Łódzkie Voivodeship, Pajęczno district – said Waldemar Kraska during a press conference. Regarding districts in the yellow category. Podkarpacie has the Przeworski district, which is a new district that moved from the green category. In the Łódzkie Voivodeship, Łowicz district, which dropped from the red category. Mazowieckie Voivodeship, Lipski district, also from the red category, is currently in yellow. Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, Kolski district, moved from the red category. Świętokrzyskie, Konecki district, Małopolskie, Nowosądecki district, Śląskie, Kłobucki – he stated. 9 districts have been removed from the list. The Tatra district, Nowy Targ district, Krakow city, Żuromin district, Wieluń district, Bartoszyce district, Kartuzy district, Przemyśl district, and Rybnik district – added the deputy minister.

Kaleta:

The Abortion Case is Ripe for Resolution by the Constitutional Tribunal

I believe that the [abortion] case in the Constitutional Tribunal should be resolved because the time has come. The matter has matured to the point where it can be decided. I don't think we will establish anything new on this matter. The period that has passed since the first motion was filed is, in my opinion, sufficient for the Constitutional Tribunal to consider this case and resolve it” – said Deputy Minister Sebastian Kaleta in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Kaleta:

Flattening the Judiciary Structure and Unifying Judge Status Are Issues the Ministry is Intensively Developing. The Future of Judicial Reform Will Be Decided Within the United Right Camp Discussions.

The issue of flattening the judiciary structure and unifying the status of judges, because in Poland we have SSRs, SSO, and SSAs [different ranks of judges]. These are demands that the judicial community itself put forward even before 2015. In our first term, we had to defend the systemic reforms in the courts with great difficulty, but we want to complete the reform. These issues are indeed being very intensively developed by the ministry, and also within the framework of discussions we are currently holding in the United Right camp, the future of judicial reform will be decided” - said Deputy Minister Sebastian Kaleta in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

Today, we are presenting one of the programs implemented by the Polish government, aimed at supporting Poles outside the country, with a particular emphasis on Poles in the East, living in the Kresy of the First and Second Polish Republics. The PiS government has always attached particular importance to supporting our compatriots abroad” - said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, at a press conference.

The government is commencing work on solutions that will simplify procedures and opportunities related to settling in Poland for all descendants of inhabitants of the First and Second Polish Republics who declare a connection with Poland” - he added.

President Duda: The Fight Against Coronavirus We've Waged So Far is Effective, and That's Evident

- I am pleased that a consistent and wise system [regarding yellow and red zones] has been introduced. I would like us to continue acting this way, because this fight against coronavirus, which we have waged so far, and I want to strongly emphasize this, is an effective fight, and it's evident. Moreover, in our society, people in most cases behave responsibly and, when they see a threat, they indeed apply safety measures. There was a moment of relaxation, when everyone thought the threat had passed, but we are fully aware that we must keep it under control – said President Andrzej Duda during the Cabinet Council meeting.

Prime Minister's Close Associate to Begin Work on Monday as Government Plenipotentiary for Energy and Mining Company Transformation
The Prime Minister will appoint Artur Soboń on Saturday as the government plenipotentiary for the transformation of energy and hard coal mining companies, so that he can begin his work as early as Monday – 300POLITYKA has learned from sources within the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM). Media had reported that Artur Soboń, Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets, would be responsible for the restructuring of the mining industry. However, the scope of responsibility assigned to him is expected to be significantly broader, also encompassing the transformation of energy companies, including renewables and, in the longer term, hydrogen investments – as we hear. Soboń joined the government in 2018 as the Deputy Minister of Investment and Development. He later worked at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, where he oversaw the process of transferring ownership following the liquidation of perpetual usufruct. Since the end of 2019, he has served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets.

President After Cabinet Council Meeting on Pandemic: In This Difficult Situation, Thanks to Hard Work and Many Wise, Rational Decisions, We Are Coping Quite Well

The meeting lasted 2.5 hours. We discussed the situation in our country comprehensively. The moment is special. Firstly, there has been a change in the position of Minister of Health, hence the minister who is primarily responsible for the fight against the pandemic, and also children and youth have started the school year. The information provided by the ministers, Mr. Dariusz Piontkowski, was of great importance to us – regarding the current situation, how preparations looked, and what the predictions for the future are, what is the current development of the situation. The pandemic is here, and we are all perfectly aware of this, but – and I want to strongly emphasize this and for which I thanked the Prime Minister and the ministers – in this difficult situation, thanks to hard work and many wise, rational decisions, we are coping quite well” – said President Andrzej Duda after the Cabinet Council meeting.

13:50

President Duda: Not a Single Child Died from Coronavirus in Poland During the Entire Pandemic. This is Crucial Information, Especially as the School Year Begins

The situation as of today is that 69,000 people have contracted the coronavirus in Poland so far. 2,092 people have died. Throughout the entire period of the coronavirus pandemic, not a single child in our country has died. This is very important information, especially in the context of the start of the school year” - said President Andrzej Duda after a Cabinet Council meeting.

13:51

President Duda: The Epidemic in Our Country Has a Focal Nature

"Regarding the nature of the epidemic, as conveyed by the Minister of Health and the Chief Sanitary Inspector, it has had a focal nature in our country for some time now. It appears primarily in two places – workplaces and weddings. A great many people are getting infected as a result of attending weddings. We ask for caution in this regard," said President Andrzej Duda after the Cabinet Council meeting.

17:42

Dworczyk:

Government Begins Work on Solutions to Simplify Procedures for Descendants of the First and Second Polish Republics to Settle in Poland

The government is commencing work on solutions that will simplify procedures and possibilities related to the settlement in Poland of all descendants of the inhabitants of the First and Second Polish Republics who declare a connection with Poland.

19:48

Niedzielski:

We Must Realize That If Family Doctors Don't Help Control the Autumn Wave, Patients Will End Up in Emergency Rooms

- We must realize that if family doctors do not help control this autumn wave, patients will end up in emergency rooms and admissions wards, where, as we know, density is already high during periods of illness, so this is a certain method of defense against this situation - said Adam Niedzielski in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

19:52

Niedzielski to Doctors: Ladies and Gentlemen, I Urge You to Continue Bearing This Responsibility You Have Carried on the Front Lines Fighting This Phenomenon Since the Beginning of the Coronavirus Pandemic

- Ladies and gentlemen, I urge you to continue bearing this responsibility that you have carried on the front lines fighting this phenomenon since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Let us not be afraid; we must do it more boldly. We are now at a phase where we know more, we are better prepared. We can make bolder decisions, which I encourage - said Adam Niedzielski on Polsat News.

19:56

Niedzielski:

The anti-vaccine movement is largely a fringe. We still have significant room to convince our citizens to get vaccinated

- Last year, the vaccination rate of our population was approximately 4%. I don't think this means that the rest belong to the anti-vaccine movement. I think that here, the anti-vaccine movement is rather a fringe. We still have significant room to convince our citizens to get vaccinated - said Adam Niedzielski on Polsat News.

20:06

Siemoniak:

Too Much Propaganda, Too Little Substance Over the Last Six Months

- It looks like this defeat in the fight against the pandemic doesn't have many fathers, and that this Cabinet Council serves the purpose of the president pointing fingers at the government. I don't know who the government will point fingers at next, maybe at local governments or at citizens who don't behave as they should. There has been too much propaganda over these past six months, too little concrete action – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

20:20

Siemoniak:

The Opposition Was Ready to Cooperate Throughout
The opposition was ready to cooperate throughout. I myself was at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister three times, in March for meetings. Then, under pressure to organize the elections on May 10, these meetings were abandoned and there was no discussion with the opposition at all. The Senate attempted some formula for discussion and cooperation. Perhaps this is such an important matter that the opposition will always be ready for cooperation and dialogue, but perhaps the will for this is on the other side – stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".

20:34

Siemoniak on the Election of the Civic Coalition Parliamentary Club Leader: According to Chairman Budka's Announcements, in October

- Today we discussed this. On September 15th, we have a club meeting, we will talk about how to organize our work differently, and according to Chairman Budka's announcements, in October there will be elections [for the leader of the Civic Coalition parliamentary club]. So we are approaching this matter calmly. I think there is no need for any emotions here. We will calmly reach a good choice and good work for the club from October - stated Tomasz Siemoniak on TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
