- No one can guarantee how the epidemic will develop. I would like to recall that there were many wonderful models that showed what would happen with the epidemic in a month, two, or half a year. We have at least several different viewpoints on this matter. On one hand, a viewpoint that says there is no pandemic at all and it's a fabricated, media spectacle, and on the other hand, the terror of some specialists or commentators who say it's a terrible disease. We are trying to find a golden mean - stated Dariusz Piontkowski in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

- No, because the yellow zone in a given district alone doesn't mean there's a real epidemic threat yet. It could be, for example, a local infection center, like in a social welfare home, where a few or a dozen or so infected people are ill, and as a result, it is closed, the disease doesn't spread around, and there's no reason for other workplaces or schools to be closed - stated Dariusz Piontkowski on Polsat News' "Graffiti," when asked if an automatic mechanism is being considered, where if a yellow or red zone appears, the school would switch to a remote or hybrid model.

"This is certainly a problem for Rafał Trzaskowski, although not his fault. What happened, the first failure a year ago, when it was determined to be a technical defect in the pipe, today one can expect that it is probably the same. It is not a comfortable situation. Today, Rafał Trzaskowski must focus on resolving this failure," said Sławomir Neumann from Civic Coalition in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM. 

„I didn't join New Solidarity because – as I understood and still understand Rafał Trzaskowski's movement – it [the movement] is aimed at people who don't want to be party members, but who want to be active in the public sphere. They have enthusiasm and energy. - We invited Paweł Kukiz to co-create Konfederacja, to join our electoral lists. That was last year. I myself participated in conversations with Paweł Kukiz and Stanisław Tyszka. There was no interest then. He chose the PSL. If there were interest, we should talk. We have our legislative projects, Paweł Kukiz has his. Simple mathematics is enough to see that a group of MPs from Konfederacja and a group of MPs from Kukiz'15 could together... Not necessarily a parliamentary club. Up until this point, for the last year, there was no interest in signing our legislative projects. If that has changed, it's a good sign. As 300POLITYKA has learned, President Andrzej Duda has convened a meeting of the Government Council for Friday at 11:00 AM to discuss the situation related to the coronavirus epidemic, including methods for combating the pandemic's effects and minimizing the negative impact of measures on the economy and citizens' lives.

- The decisions are that I approached the Prime Minister through Minister Dworczyk for assistance regarding this pontoon bridge, and the decisions are that this pontoon bridge will be built by the army, while the rest of the process, concerning the organization of the entire operation to transport these pipes, is to be our responsibility. The ruling party stated that they will naturally help us with expertise, with thoroughly reviewing with us the experiences they had a year ago, but this time they are asking us for oversight and execution of everything except for the bridge itself, which will be built by the army. They also requested that we bear the costs associated with this pontoon bridge, although Minister Dworczyk did declare all possible assistance beyond that - stated Rafał Trzaskowski after the meeting at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

We will cooperate with all state services to clarify beyond any doubt what happened. We are cleaning up after years of unfortunately poor preparation of this project, and if government institutions continue to investigate this, just as the prosecution, CBA, NIK, and all possible state services investigated the first failure. Therefore, I understand that they will continue to do so – stated Rafał Trzaskowski after a meeting at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

I do not want to speculate at the moment [regarding the causes of the failure] because I have learned from a year ago not to speculate. It is such a complex failure, where our own report after the first failure showed how many factors caused it, from the concept, through the design, then execution errors, so I don't want to speculate. We will see what happened. This place is currently being reviewed by experts and, I presume, also by all services that will be conducting the investigation – the Mayor of Warsaw continued.

On the orders of the prosecutor's office, the police entered MPWiK and the Warsaw City Hall, securing documents. We declare full readiness to cooperate.
