"This bill should not have appeared, and it's good that the Senate, which proved necessary once again as the second chamber of parliament, closed this matter by rejecting the bill and issuing its veto. The rejection of this bill was a vote not only from members of political parties. - That struggle between the camp represented, among others, by the Minister of Justice, and Prime Minister Morawiecki and Morawiecki's people, it has already escalated to such an extent that I think these resignations are among the first that are still ahead of us. It is not heroism that someone has dark circles under their eyes and puts on a very tired face, but the effects of actions. - Donald Tusk is the honorary chairman of PO. I would prefer that on such a matter [salary increases] he reached for the phone, not used a messenger. I think it's worth, and this is advice for all of us, regardless of how much experience one has in politics, that instead of communicating via the internet, on social media, sometimes a good piece of advice should be given at the right time and in the right way, because I will remind you that unfortunately, during the 8 years when we held power, we did not manage together, and this is our mistake, to introduce regulations that would systematically lead to good solutions in this area and would not cause such disruptions - stated Borys Budka in TVN24's "Fakty po faktach".
