“For over twenty years, since the salaries of individuals holding the highest state positions were set, they have been lowered twice, and also reduced – for instance, the VIP card for medical treatment was also abolished. Today, they are not even two average salaries. The proposal meets the expectation for the state to be modest, but for salaries to be reasonably reflective of what is happening in the market” – Minister Marek Suski said in the Sejm.
