At 11:00 AM in Krakow, a press conference will be held by PSL leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

At 12:00 PM, a government session will take place. The agenda includes a draft amendment to the act on healthcare benefits financed from public funds, a draft amendment to the act on railway transport, as well as current matters and an oral report on actions taken and planned in connection with the preparations for the organization of the World Urban Forum in Katowice in 2022.

At 3:00 PM, a session of the parliamentary committee for state control will be held, during which MPs will provide their opinion on the President of NIK's (Supreme Audit Office) motions to dismiss Tadeusz Dziuba from the position of Vice-President of the Supreme Audit Office, as well as to appoint Grzegorz Walendzik, Małgorzata Humel-Maciewiczak, and Henryk Jan Wnorowski as members of the college of the Supreme Audit Office.

- A very good comment, which I read after yesterday's speech, was what President Aleksander Kwaśniewski said. When asked why he was there, why he didn't break ranks like President Komorowski or President Wałęsa, President Kwaśniewski gave three fundamental reasons. Firstly, out of respect for democracy, secondly, out of respect for the office, and thirdly, finally, out of respect for over 20 million Poles who went to the polls - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in a conversation with Jacek Łęski on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- It seems that these communities, homosexual individuals, have full rights in Poland today, and what we should promote, the attitudes we should foster, are those of mutual respect. When we are faced with such a costume parade in the Sejm, it's showcasing separateness, uniqueness, difference, yet this is not what these communities are after. These communities want to show that they are like everyone else - said Jadwiga Emilewicz on TVP1.

- First the program, and then the government structure. I always repeat that ministerial seats are the hottest seats in Poland. One shouldn't become too attached to them. However, once we establish the directions we want to follow in the coming months, the government structure will be adjusted accordingly - Jadwiga Emilewicz said on TVP1. 

- Over the last few days, I've seen statements from both coalition partners confirming the need for government optimization, including the number of ministries. I hope they will also accept in this situation a reduction in the number of ministers, also a certain percentage optimization in terms of the distribution between coalition partners - stated Piotr Müller in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Polskie Radio 3's Political Salon".

- We have over three years until the next election, and certain adjustments to the coalitional agreement are likely appearing due to the fact that the government structure will look slightly different, but this is natural during a term, such things happen. There's no point in looking for anything negative here - stated Piotr Müller in "Salon polityczny Trójki".

The Polish Ministry of Health (MZ) has reported 809 new cases of coronavirus infection in Poland. Sadly, 13 people have died as a result of the virus.

- Is there anything wrong with openness? Is there anything wrong with transparency? Is there anything wrong with purity of intentions? Every citizen, not the government, a citizen can be given the chance, if we introduce a solution into the legal order that will give every interested person the opportunity to check the funding sources of organizations. Every organization, whether from the right, the left, or the center - said Zbigniew Ziobro during a joint press conference with Michał Woś, where they presented the draft law on transparency of non-governmental organization funding. 

- I would like to address all our compatriots. Often, the authorities may not want to, or may not have the courage, to tell you this, but we are facing great danger, especially this weekend. We have all seen crowded beaches and queues on mountain peaks in recent days and weeks. The danger has not passed, we are facing great danger, all of us. This danger can affect ourselves, our children, parents, and grandparents. Therefore, I ask that if you see that it is impossible to maintain distance, if there is a huge crowd in the places you visit, give up on the beaches, on the mountain peaks, because we risk either another wave of infections or a peak in infections. Both are very dangerous. We must realize that in conditions where there are crowds of people on the beach, no mask will help us – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz at a press briefing in Krakow.

- I appeal to you with a great request for consideration, that we ourselves refrain, even though it will be the most beautiful, the hottest weekend, to spend it rather on allotment gardens, perhaps with family, but not in clusters where we risk another wave of the epidemic – he continued.

- Today, I have submitted an interpelation to the Minister of Health and the Minister of National Education regarding the preparation of the Polish state for another wave of coronavirus – noted the PSL leader.

- Consultations are ongoing, but it's difficult, if I may say so, to tie decisions on epidemic-related regulations to whether a mayor kindly agrees or a local government agrees. With all due respect, this is about people's health, and even if local governments were not favorable to these decisions, and it's difficult to blame them for not being favorable, regulations should still be in place - said Łukasz Szumowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of Events) on Polsat News.

- I never said the epidemic was ending. I said we were seeing decreases. The Prime Minister stated that the virus was in retreat, and at that time, I remind you, there were two hundred and several dozen infections daily. Therefore, it was an evident, multi-day decline. However, we are seeing an increase, and tomorrow we will likely see an even greater increase, and the day after tomorrow an even larger one. I will explain why. Today, we conducted over 4700 tests in large workplaces in Lesser Poland, and they will be reported over the weekend. Therefore, it is better that we have a large number of results from an outbreak than if we did not conduct these screenings and allowed these people to go out and infect others. Then we would have a real catastrophe - stated Łukasz Szumowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
