- Today, the Polish economy is doing well. This crisis will be one of the deeper crises. It is being compared to the one in 1929. It might be even deeper. What is important is how we react to it and how companies will behave - said Jadwiga Emilewicz on Polish Radio 24.

- Now is the time for us to launch the investment process as quickly as possible. This is the purpose of the Local Investment Fund. Only rebuilding companies, a rebuilding economy will be able to repay the debts currently being incurred - said Jadwiga Emilewicz in a conversation with Eliza Olczyk on Polish Radio 24.

- I think that in situations where we have a coalition of three parties, it is always good for the leaders of these parties to be represented in the government, as this ensures a clear message – Jadwiga Emilewicz said on Polish Radio 24.

- First and foremost, Jarosław Gowin must want to return to the government, because let's recall that the then-Prime Minister himself resigned from that position. If he wants to return, I believe he will find an agreement on this matter with Chairman Kaczyński, Chairman Zbigniew Ziobro, and most importantly, with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who is responsible for shaping the future government – she added.

- I don't know the president's exact statement [about masks] precisely. It's probably taken out of context. It probably depends on the situation. I was myself a witness when the president, in enclosed spaces, when he was close to other people, wore a mask, whereas in situations where he is in an open space and the distance to people is greater, well, even today the government probably doesn't recommend masks as a necessity - stated Adam Bielan in TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

- We had a situation of a certain relaxation, and this did not only concern representatives of politicians of various options, because we had an election campaign, where at rallies of candidates opposing the president, the recommended distance was also not observed, and candidates also did not wear masks. Today we see that the number of new cases is growing. Therefore, we should all behave accordingly. I have been to the Presidential Palace many times and I know that all GIS recommendations are followed there, temperatures are checked, everyone has to wash their hands and put on a mask when entering the Presidential Palace. I would not call those [the president's] words nonchalant. I am convinced that the president will also wear a mask in situations where, if the epidemic situation requires it, and I have also personally seen him wear such a mask many times - he continued.

- I remember that PO called the envelopes that were meant to be sent to people 'death envelopes,' in order to conduct a mass signature collection drive across Poland a few days later. I don't recall TVN24 attacking PO politicians at that time for collecting hundreds of thousands of signatures on the streets of cities - stated Adam Bielan in "One on One" on TVN24.

- In the autumn, at the start of the political season, there will be a government reconstruction, and once the negotiations involving Prime Minister Gowin, as the leader of Porozumienie, are concluded, the authorities of Porozumienie will decide who will represent us in government. I believe this is a natural situation where party leaders represent their party in government - stated Adam Bielan in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.

„These were joint decisions. Common sense prevailed. The experience from previous military parades, for instance in Katowice, gathered a huge number of people, and the same in Warsaw. However, this involves drawing people into a very small area, and that creates danger. It was recognized that in a situation where we have an increase in the number of infections, it is better not to create situations where infections could occur. It is not essential. We can celebrate in other ways” - said Minister Andrzej Dera on TVP1’s “Kwadrans polityczny” (Political Fifteen Minutes). 

“Over the last 5 years, Civic Platform has been encoding the message that democracy only exists when they are in power, and when they are not in power, then there is no democracy. This is a continuation of that narrative, but it shows a lack of respect for democracy. The President of the Republic of Poland is the president of our state,” said Minister Andrzej Dera on TVP1’s “Political Quarter Hour”. 

“If the result had been reversed, Civic Platform would never have said the elections were invalid; they would not have questioned it,” he added.

- Certainly, things that will interest a large part of parents, teachers, and students are rules such as the fact that there is no obligation, at least we are not assuming there will be an obligation to wear face coverings over the mouth and nose. Of course, we will not forbid them - stated Dariusz Piontkowski at a press conference, adding that rules concerning personal hygiene will still apply.

- Today, we are submitting a draft amendment to the Act on the Ombudsman. Together with MP Agnieszka Ścigaj, who prepared this solution, she will be the MP representing our club in this legislation. We are amending the Act on the Ombudsman to make him as representative as possible of civic, non-governmental, and public benefit organizations - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz during a press conference in the Sejm.

- We would like to change the Act on the election of the Ombudsman to one that is, firstly, consistent with the constitution, and in this act, the Sejm, with the consent of the Senate, elects the Ombudsman. Today, this can happen without the participation of citizens, without the participation of non-governmental organizations. This is not a good formula. We are aiming for a constitutional amendment and direct election of the Ombudsman in the long term. But for now, this is impossible, so we have found a solution in which we will involve non-governmental organizations. They will nominate individuals, and from these individuals nominated by public benefit organizations, the Sejm will choose one out of two people who will become the Ombudsman, with the consent of the Senate - added the leader of PSL.

– I'm sorry to say, but based on experience, I don't expect a breakthrough. I think we'll continue to see this: once Civic Coalition tires of the election topic, they'll find another issue to shout about, declaring the end of democracy, screaming about illegitimate rule, and so on. We experienced this in 2015 and 2016, when some private television journalists breathlessly reported on every move of the KOD leader, who was supposedly on the verge of seizing power and overthrowing PiS. We had a shadow cabinet preparing to take power. We had the so-called 'ciamajdan' [a derisive term combining 'ciamajda' - chaos, and 'Majdan' - referring to the Maidan Revolution], which was, after all, an expression of the genuine outrage of Platform MPs and was meant to lead to breakthrough changes in the country. I think we'll see more such inventions – said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Adrian Klarenbach on Polish Radio 24.

“I like Trzaskowski’s idea regarding collecting signatures for citizens’ initiatives. We did this in the last term. Pension without tax is such a citizens’ initiative, under which we collected signatures. It’s a good method. We will continue it” – said the leader of the Polish People's Party (PSL), Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, on Polsat News. 

„He is certainly a person engaged in civic life. An interesting concept. I have a good opinion of his significant commitment to what is happening in Warsaw, of his community-minded mission in all of it. Probably not everything was perfect. Jan Śpiewak, at first sound, resonates better with me. We are also considering whether we will not nominate a candidate” - said the leader of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, on Polsat News.
