Sasin on organizing May 10th postal elections: 'I don't think there's any point in returning to this now. The opposition caused the elections not to be held within the constitutional deadline'

"I don't think there's any point in returning to this [organizing the May 10th postal elections] at this moment. What doesn't please me, first and foremost, is that it turned out that in Poland, democratic and constitutional rules can be thrown in the trash, because that's what effectively happened. Effectively, the opposition caused the elections not to be held within the constitutional deadline. This opposition, which for 4.5 years shouted that the constitution must be respected, appealed to the constitution, has brutally trampled on that constitution by not allowing [the elections] to take place," said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.
