President Andrzej Duda will participate in the observances commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. At 5:45 PM, PAD will lay a wreath at the Warsaw Uprising Monument, and at 6:00 PM, he will attend a solemn Holy Mass at the Field Cathedral of the Polish Army.

At 12:00 PM in Warsaw, a press conference will be held where Szymon Hołownia will present the Polska 2050 movement, its key figures, and programmatic assumptions. He will also present details of the movement's first 100 days of operation.

- Out of respect for all those who voted for President Andrzej Duda, for the voters, for the office of the president. Even if I believe the president won in unfair elections, I stand by that opinion, but out of respect for certain values, I will attend this assembly [the National Assembly], of course, while adhering to all security requirements - said Borys Budka in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Radio Trójka's "Political Salon".

- It's a Pilate-like gesture. Washing hands and pretending this matter has any legal dimension. It doesn't. This convention has already been examined. What's more, when Poland ratified the convention, it reserved, and this is published in the Journal of Laws alongside the text, that the convention will be applied while observing Polish constitutional norms and Polish law - said Borys Budka on Radio Trójka.

- A civic movement is for those who don't see their place in politics but want to act socially. They want to support civic initiatives, defend local government, and support us politicians - said Borys Budka on Radio Trójka.

- Rafał Trzaskowski has committed to creating such a movement, such a platform for action. He is the Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform, the Mayor of Warsaw, and these relations will be the best possible. However, we will separate the political and parliamentary spheres, and this is the place for political parties, for Civic Coalition, while Rafał Trzaskowski will harness the strictly civic sphere and energy - he added.

- There have been no decisions at all yet regarding the new appointments to the Council of Ministers. Consequently, neither the government's structure in its new form has been finalized or approved, nor, even more so, has the personal composition of the government. Therefore, at this moment, no change is occurring at the position of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Whether a change will ultimately occur is also a decision that will only be made sometime later, likely in September, perhaps a bit later - stated Piotr Müller on the program Poranek Siódma9.

- First of all, let's remember that no formal decision, at least at this stage, was transmitted to Poland yesterday concerning the suspension of financial means. Yesterday, the Prime Minister approved and sent a letter to the commissioner responsible for equality, who spoke on the matter, requesting clear explanations on what legal basis such actions were taken, because even assuming that such a legal basis existed, and it does not, therefore it is very important. On the other hand, none of the cities are attacking or restricting the rights of individuals representing sexual minorities, but are simply asking for it, emphasizing family values, and recalling the definition of marriage as a union of a woman and a man, and this definition is enshrined in the Polish Constitution - stated Piotr Müller on Poranek Siódma9.

This is a decision of the United States. The Secretary of Defense spoke two days ago at a press conference about the fact that 6.5 thousand out of 11.5 thousand soldiers who will be transferred from Germany will go to the United States, and then from the United States they will be sent to Europe or other continents,” said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on Radio Jedynka.

„Of course, we must be prepared for everything. However, looking at the current situation and taking into account information from the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, the forecasts have proven to be correct 98 percent of the time. Based on these forecasts, we do not expect a lockdown like the one we had in the first quarter of this year. - We want to conduct politics with our heads and hearts, and then with our hands. Everything that happens in politics must begin with the head and heart. With thought and civic energy. And then the hands come. A political party, the tools one reaches for in politics. If there is a head and heart, but no hands, then there is no function, it doesn't work. But if there are only hands without a head and heart, they are dead, they will do nothing. That's why, in creating a new movement, a new entity on this scene, we want to create it in a completely new way. The head - Strategy 2050 is a think tank, but different from all those usually associated with politics. Because it won't be a think tank where politicians appoint experts and invite those they agree with. It will be an autonomous organization, so to speak, created by experts who will tell the rest of the movement what the world looks like today - said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference.

- This civic movement will control our political party if one ever forms before any elections. All forms of political activity that we undertake, because politics must be under civic control - he added.

- In these first hundred days, which we will review at the end of October, actually after the November long weekend, we will first discuss how it worked - said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference.

- Our first project, which we will implement in these hundred days, is citizen contracts.

- Having leaders in every województwo and every powiat in Poland today, we will try to precisely identify problems in selected powiats or local communities and sign a contract as Poland 2050 with the local community, saying that using all the tools we have, citizen influence, legislative initiative, the possibility of organizing something at the central level, combining energy from other regions of the country in this place, the knowledge of our experts, we will try to solve this problem.

- Secondly, education for the future. Utilizing the resource we have, and we have excellent education experts from various fields, we want to, unable to change the education system as we would like right now because we don't have MPs and senators, prime ministers and ministers, as I spoke about in my presidential program, but we can try to help people cope with the consequences of the bad solutions that are currently in place, to help them endure them. Starting in September, we will launch a system of easily accessible content for students of various educational levels, which will cover the gaps that exist in the curriculum today.

- The next project, the third, is Leaders 2050. In September, we will begin intensive work with our leaders. As I said before, we have leaders at the województwo level, at the powiat level, and they are even starting at the gmin level, which makes us very happy. This is precisely a civic movement. We want to give them new competencies. We want to show our leaders skills in managing political processes, knowledge about the modern world, communication, media relations, and the art of conflict resolution.

- Already next week, the fourth point, I am setting off on a tour of Poland. I want this to be our distinct program and a marker that it's not about touring Poland during a campaign, that it's not about a politician getting pre-campaign sparring a month before the campaign.

- The fifth thing, very close to my heart and brings me great joy, is a program that can be called essentially social, but extremely important in our divided Poland. It's a reference to the Living Room Conversations program once built in America; in Poland, we will call it "Zapraszamy do pokoju" (Let's Invite to the Room), because that's precisely what we need most today. An invitation to the room. In the coming days, we will provide our leaders across Poland, and in time we will make it available, I think within 2-3 weeks on our website, with a certain scenario for conversations to which we would like to invite Poles.

- We have started work on creating our own internet radio, which is already being organized. It involves software, authors, and all the necessary things. It will most likely launch at the beginning of September, with a full, 24-hour schedule.

- Today, the crisis management team itself did not make any new decisions regarding restrictions, but it did accept certain variants that are possible in the near future, including a certain regional approach to restrictions, which may apply across the country. Today, the team discussed this issue, and potential future decisions concerning specific restrictions that could be introduced in Poland may encompass individual districts – those particular ones experiencing the greatest problems regarding the number of infections, so as to tailor any decisions by the government crisis team to the actual situation in individual districts or municipalities – stated Piotr Müller at a press briefing.

- Today, the issue related to the return of Poles and individuals who are citizens of other countries but reside in Poland, returning from other European states, was also discussed. At this moment, the government team has not yet recommended the reintroduction of mandatory quarantine nationwide for those returning from abroad, but such a scenario is being considered. Currently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs publishes a list of countries most at risk regarding the possibility of infection, however, at this moment, no quarantine restrictions for individuals returning from these countries are in effect, with the reservation that we anticipate such a possibility may arise if it turns out that the situation in these countries has actually worsened - stated Piotr Müller at a press briefing.

„Then [before the second round of elections] we had [coronavirus] in retreat. We had two hundred-something cases, today we have 650 from the previous day. We simply have major outbreaks again. The government did not create the situation of increasing cases, nor did it create the situation of decreasing cases. We are only reporting what the local sanitary-epidemiological stations provide us” - said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski, in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on „Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

„There are six large outbreaks. Three mines, three workplaces. If we subtract these 300 positive results from these outbreaks, we have a roughly stable state at 300 cases outside of these large outbreaks. Neither underestimation, nor hysteria, nor a certain relaxation is good. Masks should be worn, covering the nose and mouth. There is no such thing as a medical contraindication for covering the nose and mouth” - said the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski, on Polsat News.
