At 12:00 PM, the decision on the second edition of the "Battle for Trucks" initiative will be announced at the headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and Administration. Minister Mariusz Kamiński will hand over the grant agreements for the purchase of new fire trucks.

"If there were to be a reduction and decrease in the number of ministries, it would apply to every representative, every faction within the United Right" - stated Krzysztof Sobolewski, the head of PiS's Executive Committee, on Jedynka radio.

- It's not about a carousel of names, it's not about juggling positions, but about the government functioning more efficiently and in a more controllable manner. Let's call it that. So, we are naturally focusing on structural, systemic issues. This is to eliminate the duplication of competences that sometimes occurs, to make decision-making paths in the government more effective, and to avoid situations where several ministries have to process the same issue sequentially. This is the goal we are pursuing. As I mentioned, we will be informed about the final decisions, and the leadership of the United Right will inform, likely after the summer break – said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Mirosław Skowron on Polskie Radio 24.

"Indeed, such a ministerial motion will be filed today. It will be analyzed within the ruling coalition. We cannot allow any ideology or ideological theses incompatible with the Polish constitution to be imposed upon us. The decision itself, if made, will be taken in accordance with the rights stemming from the provisions of this convention. The point is to not adopt ideological theses alongside the convention's rightful provisions" - said the head of PiS's Executive Committee, Krzysztof Sobolewski, on Jedynka radio.

- It is primarily about EU funds and development opportunities. The very wealthy Warsaw artificially inflates the average for the entire Mazovia region. Consequently, the region, which beyond Warsaw is actually one of the poorer regions among those benefiting from funds for Eastern Poland, appears in EU statistics as one of the wealthiest in Europe, and this is the fundamental issue. There are also development issues concerning these former voivodeships in Mazovia. Upon the creation of a separate voivodeship, their development opportunities will significantly increase, without causing any real damage to Warsaw - said Radosław Fogiel on Polish Radio 24.

- Indeed, the PiS leader and architect of the United Right has announced a government reconstruction, and we, as a political community, as the United Right, are certainly open to effectiveness, open to having a government that is effective. However, we cannot start with personnel. Personnel are the least important, and no minister is permanently glued to their office. Nevertheless, we as Solidarna Polska absolutely want to discuss the program, and that is what matters most. Program first, then potential structural changes, then personnel changes. Moreover, regarding structural changes, both Porozumienie and Solidarna Polska, representing nearly 40 MPs, unanimously – as there were two separate presidiums of Porozumienie and the board of Solidarna Polska – instructed our leaders within the framework of these potential changes and improvements to primarily demand the implementation of the coalition agreement, meaning not to reduce the scope of responsibility of our political communities – stated Michał Woś in an interview with Marcin Wikło on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- We hear in the public discourse that there is a problem with the decision-making process. We, and Porozumienie [The Agreement – a political party], have thoroughly discussed whether this problem with more efficient decision-making lies within our areas of responsibility. We are convinced that it does not. Of course, we are open to a reconstruction within our largest partner, the coalition partner, PiS [Law and Justice party], but this should be done wisely. So, if there is a public announcement that this is meant to streamline government operations, that's very good, but it should streamline not just for the sake of governing, administering, because we are not interested in 'warm water from the tap,' but we are interested in reforming the state. Furthermore, in the same good style as over the last 4 years - stated Michał Woś in TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour."

- Our stance is that neither we nor Porozumienie plan changes regarding responsibility, unless we reach such a consensus through our coalition talks, at the coalition table. However, at this moment, our primary demand is the implementation of the coalition agreement, but it would be absolutely detrimental if this were to boil down to discussions about positions in the public sphere. We are primarily concerned with the program, with an ambitious program, with fulfilling what we promised to Poles in concrete terms, also in the ideological sphere, in the sphere of values, with reforms that should go a step further, given that we have already had four consecutive elections - stated Michał Woś in TVP1's 'Political Quarter Hour'.

- The Istanbul Convention itself is unfortunately, to put it crudely, ideological gibberish. Of course, it has a nice name, an anti-violence convention, but Poland's standard for fighting violence, meaning its anti-violence legislation, is at a much, much higher level than other countries - stated Michał Woś on TVP1's "Political Quarter Hour".

- We have an anti-violence act, passed by the Sejm a few months ago, prepared by the Ministry of Justice. We have stricter penalties and a system of aid for victims of crime that many countries do not have, and that is essentially the most important thing in fighting violence. The convention, on the other hand, is an emanation of certain ideological ideas related, among other things, to gender ideology, which are transposed to other countries. That is, it directly indicates a definition, it talks about socio-cultural gender, meaning we don't have biologically a man and a woman, but we have some kind of full queer, 54 genders, etc., etc. The second fundamental issue is in Article 12; it's not directly in the convention, but it is in the commentary to the convention from the preparatory works, it indicates that even against the will of parents, against the will of institutions, the LGBT agenda should be implemented in these institutions, and this is Article 12, you can read it precisely in the commentaries - he continued.

- This was our announcement and program, stemming from our recent election campaigns, where President Jarosław Kaczyński, as far as I recall from meetings, particularly in Mazovia, mentioned that we would like the Mazovian and Warsaw voivodeships to be separated. I won't hide the fact that such work is underway in our camp, but regarding further actions and timelines, it's still a bit too early to talk about what will be undertaken and when. - This part of the convention, which is related to real proposals for combating violence against women, is not only accepted by us, but we fully share these postulates. This is evidenced by the fact that we have implemented them into the Polish legal order, and here there is full agreement and no problem regarding the Istanbul Convention. The problem concerns the other part, a layer which we consider counterproductive in terms of the effects of their implementation and their recommendations. We believe that it not only does not lead to an improvement in the situation of women, but on the contrary, it may consequently lead to significant deterioration of the situation of women and an increase in domestic violence in Poland due to changes in the social and customs sphere and the functioning of the family. In this second area, we indicate that it contradicts the Polish Constitution in many points – stated Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference.

- For this reason, the United Right camp has consistently committed itself since 2015, as these were recurring, one might say, electoral promises, to submit a request for the denunciation of this convention, which, incidentally, many EU countries have not introduced into their legal orders, and similar discussions are ongoing in many countries as in Poland, pointing to the dangers of the convention's provisions entering into force. Therefore, today, as I promised on Saturday, I have kept my word. I have submitted a formal request to the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy, whose ministry is competent to initiate the formal process related to the denunciation of this convention, to take action in this regard – he continued.
