Andrzej Duda secured 51 percent of the vote, while Rafał Trzaskowski received 49 percent – according to the late poll results published around 2 AM from 90 percent of the polling stations where Ipsos surveyors were present. The margin of error for this survey is 1 percentage point.

- We remember the statement by Mr. Roman Giertych, who said that if we win, we win, but if we lose, the election result will have to be challenged. This will be a total action by the opposition against society, not against the politicians of Law and Justice, not against Andrzej Duda, but against those who celebrated, who went to the polls - said Stanisław Karczewski on Radio Jedynka.

- Despite this whole attempt, perhaps for the fourth time now, carried out by the Ipsos polling station, namely the attempt to take away the joy on election night, this time I decided to celebrate, without paying attention to this poll statement. I was convinced of this after the first unofficial exit poll results at 6 PM. As it turns out, this 6 PM poll actually confirms the final result, while what was done in the evening, this statement that the difference is so small that the polling station cannot responsibly indicate the winner, is nothing more than the fourth attempt to take away Poles' joy from their choice, because it was the Poles who chose President Duda, who was chosen - stated Joachim Brudziński in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM.

"My sincere congratulations to the President. I also congratulate Rafał Trzaskowski, as he put up a very close fight. Respect to all those who ran in the elections and thanks to Poles for the record turnout. President Duda is a decidedly better choice for Poland, because his re-election guarantees 3 years of stability at the top of power, and we very much need this stability," said the leader of Porozumienie, Jarosław Gowin, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

“I hope all politicians, across divisions, will show a certain responsibility. Poles passed the exam by going to the polls in such large numbers. Now the exam is for us, the politicians. I already said yesterday evening that regardless of the election results, I will not question them. Generally, these were democratic, safe, and free elections. I am very proud that by opposing the May deadline, I contributed to such elections” – said Jarosław Gowin, leader of Porozumienie, in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- Despite the significant emotions and disputes between our campaign team and Rafał Trzaskowski's team, let's put aside his campaign staff, because I believe they contributed greatly to the victory, for which I would also like to thank them – Mr. Nitras, Ms. Pomaska, Ms. Tomczyk – because their behavior in this campaign, I am absolutely convinced, also contributed to Andrzej Duda winning despite everything, and they did not help Rafał Trzaskowski at all. This is because Poles reject such aggressive, hyperactive, disjointed, and also emotionally charged behavior as that presented by Mr. Nitras or Ms. Pomaska - stated Joachim Brudziński on RMF FM.

„This [media repolonization] requires discussion within the United Right. Discussions both on the direction of actions and on the nature of these actions. In principle, regarding repolonization, I believe it is a good direction, but it must be carried out exclusively on market principles, just as we repolonized approximately half of the banking sector. - To be effective in the elections in three years, I believe so, someone must do it. Trzaskowski has the best credentials to construct it. There is no alternative to this. If the opposition, if the leaders of the opposition, the opposition circles, stand apart, saying we are going separately but will cooperate, we will lose the next election - said Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Piasecki's Conversation."

- What public television did was, and I hope will not be repeated, such a campaign. It is definitely, if we are talking about the godfather of Andrzej Duda's victory, it is Jacek Kurski. Definitely - said Grzegorz Schetyna on TVN24.

- I cannot, and do not want to speak on behalf of the campaign staff, but I believe that the difference today is so large that we must accept this result, while very clearly indicating the reasons and causes for this electoral verdict. One of these causes is certainly the conduct and actions of public television - said Grzegorz Schetyna on TVN24.

„[Andrzej Duda] is a president with one of the strongest, if not the strongest, mandates to govern. It appears that over 10 million Poles have supported President Andrzej Duda. No president has ever been supported by such a vast number of their fellow citizens” – said the deputy spokesperson for PiS, Radosław Fogiel, in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Radio Trójka.

- I once said where elections are won. I believe I understand his [Trzaskowski's] arguments for why he wasn't there, because he would have collided with the public television machinery and that hate industry production, but perhaps he needed to be there to change, to reverse the logic of this campaign. However, I also understand his arguments that told him no, because there wouldn't be fair, normal competition there - Grzegorz Schetyna said on TVN24.

- He could have tipped the table. He could have shown he's above it all, that he's simply better despite everything that is against him. He is there to bear witness to his campaign and basic decency - he added.

The United Right has an absolutely stable parliamentary majority. The recent vote of confidence for Prime Minister Morawiecki's government demonstrated this. There is no need for change. If, in provincial assemblies, municipal councils, or district councils, someone would like to support PiS, the United Right, and our program, we are always open to discussions. We haven't hidden this since the local government elections. It's not something to be ashamed of if someone decides that they are, after all, closer to our solutions,” said PiS Deputy Spokesperson Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Radio Trójka.

This presidency, in both this and the previous term, wouldn't exist without Jarosław Kaczyński, and following the example of the late Professor Lech Kaczyński, whom I have already mentioned, I can today only repeat one phrase from that election night in 2005: Mr. Chairman, I report task completion. – Marcin Mastalerek is a very talented politician. I made Marcin Mastalerek the head of the youth wing in Szczecin. It was on my recommendation that Mastalerek came to work at Nowogrodzka [seat of the Law and Justice party]. An increasing number of SMEs are operating at the same or a larger scale as before the pandemic. Companies are rebuilding employment and assessing the current situation more favorably. Over 80% are using or intend to use the anti-crisis shield. These are the main conclusions from the latest wave of BGK's SME survey.

The key findings from five waves of BGK's quantitative study "SME Condition during the Coronavirus Epidemic and Assessment of the Anti-Crisis Shield's Effectiveness":

• The percentage of SMEs operating at the same or a larger scale as before the pandemic is significantly increasing. Currently, they constitute a total of 47.9%, which is 19.4% more than in the previous June measurement;
• Entrepreneurs are coping financially better. Over one-third of companies in the SME sector (35.4%) describe their current revenues as comparable to February levels (a 13.4% increase) or higher (a 5.9% increase);
• Companies are rebuilding employment. The majority of entrepreneurs (88.8%) describe the current employment level as unchanged compared to February. In the second half of May, the scale of employment reduction was at its peak, amounting to approximately 500-600 thousand jobs. Currently, it stands at 76 thousand jobs compared to the beginning of the pandemic;

81.9% of companies are using or intend to use the anti-crisis shield. The PFR Financial Shield has clearly gained popularity. Comment from Mateusz Walewski, Chief Economist at BGK: The unfreezing of the economy means that entrepreneurs are increasingly positive about the current business environment. This is a result of, among other things, the rebuilding of demand for goods and services, as well as the functioning of anti-crisis shields. 81.9% of SMEs are using or intend to use their instruments. The most popular anti-crisis shield instrument remains the exemption from ZUS contributions for 3 months – 77.2% of companies are using it, compared to 75.7% in the previous measurement. Additionally, a significant portion of entrepreneurs are still using or intend to use subsidies for employee wages – 55.3% compared to 63.9% in the previous wave. The PFR Financial Shield has advanced to third place in terms of popularity, with 26.1% of companies using it. The percentage of SMEs operating at the same or a larger scale as before the pandemic is significantly increasing. Currently, they constitute a total of 47.9%, which is 19.4% more than in the previous June measurement. Compared to the previous measurement, the percentage of SMEs operating on a reduced scale compared to February has significantly decreased – we see a drop from 69.3% to 51.6%. In total, 35.4% of SMEs describe their current revenues as comparable to February levels or higher. The average decrease in revenues declared by entrepreneurs in the SME sector compared to February currently stands at around 22%. Importantly, companies are rebuilding employment. 88.8% describe the current employment level as unchanged compared to February. The percentage of companies that reduced employment due to the pandemic is systematically decreasing – from 35.2% at the turn of April and May to 9.2% currently.

“They can file them, what’s the point,” said Deputy Speaker Ryszard Terlecki of PiS in a conversation with journalists in the Sejm when asked about potential electoral complaints filed by Rafał Trzaskowski’s committee.

- There is no sadness. There is, I would say, perhaps not triumphant optimism, because that would be unwarranted, but many reasons for optimism. Just recall the level of support Rafał Trzaskowski started from, how little time he had to collect signatures, how uneven the rules of the game were, how the entire state apparatus, including the propaganda television, called public but in reality governmental, threw itself into tarnishing him, making him a scoundrel. And all of this together resulted in a narrow victory for the ruling camp. This is the basis for my optimism, because I have a feeling that these are the last elections PiS has won - stated Tomasz Grodzki in Onet Rano.

- For me, Rafał Trzaskowski is a huge winner of this campaign, because he convinced over 9 million people, and this potential absolutely must be utilized. I don't feel defeated; I am looking to the future - he continued.

- It seems that going to that debate in Końskie would be a kind of ‘va banque’ move, and even if Rafał Trzaskowski were insulted or humiliated there, he could have interrupted it and left during the proceedings. It was known that the polls were oscillating around the final result, so it was necessary to consider some ‘va banque’ move, as they say fashionably in politics, overturning the table, to reverse this polling trend. Perhaps it wouldn't have changed much, or perhaps it would have. But I don't call it a mistake. It's rather a defensive tactic, and this tactic as a whole was good, because Rafał Trzaskowski, facing powerful forces, achieved enormous success, almost won these elections, and created a powerful political foundation for himself – stated Tomasz Grodzki on Onet Rano.

- I congratulate the President on this result. And I hope that when the President said that this second term will be different, that it will indeed be different. This is a huge opportunity for the President to break free from his political party, to not listen only to one person all the time, to listen to the voice of the citizens, and to veto those laws that are simply bad laws, that will attack independent institutions, that will attack local government, and I hope that in this second term the President will show much more independence - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference. 

– First and foremost, I wanted to thank all the Polish women and men who voted for me. 10 million votes are truly a commitment, and I am very pleased that, above all, we have managed to create something we haven't seen in Poland in recent years – a real civic movement. This is because over the past two months, Polish women and men who desire change have awakened, clearly declared themselves in favour of change, and we know that 10 million Poles want a Poland that is European, tolerant, smiling, where there are no equals and more equal than others. I am also very pleased that many of these 10 million voters were young people voting for the first time, and this too, of course, gives us immense hope for the future, and that is the most important thing. This is because the result of these elections was very close, we knew that from the very beginning. It was also known that these elections would not be fair. This is because, on the one hand, there was a propaganda steamroller and the entire PiS state apparatus, which was mobilized for these elections against the opposition candidates – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference.

- It was known that it would be difficult, and so it was, but we fought to the very end. This is a reason for great pride, for all those who did not give up and who created this hope for a European state, which will be much more effective, and that's exactly how it will be, because this is just the beginning of the road. I want to announce to everyone that we will fight on, that this is just another stage in our fight, because we must reclaim the state from one party's hands, and we will all certainly do it – said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference.

- However, of course, we must also draw conclusions, because all political parties, and especially my political party, must open up to new people, to new ideas. We must ensure that the energy that has been generated in recent months is certainly not wasted, and I promise that we will strive to harness this energy - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference.

- Without a doubt, Rafał Trzaskowski was one of the leaders of PO, KO, and I hope he will remain so in the future. He resonates so much with people in Poland, he has moved young people, he has effectively awakened them politically, and they turned out in droves to vote. After yesterday's rally, we also saw a huge number of very young people for whom these might have been their first elections, their first vote. This is very optimistic for the future. We will all urge Rafał Trzaskowski not to return to City Hall, I would say, on a full-time basis, but also to dedicate some of his political activity, a part of his life, to political activity on the national stage. This is very important - stated Jan Grabiec in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on TOK FM.

- I think one full-time job at City Hall. I know how local government work is. It's sometimes a dozen or so hours a day. But still, for example, the issue… Of course, he is not a parliamentarian, so his presence in politics has a slightly different character, but I think it's good that Rafał Trzaskowski decided to run in these elections. Very good, because thanks to him, the elections were not decided in the first round, as was a threat to us in May. We had a true celebration of democracy, and I hope he will want to continue to feel the burden of shared responsibility for Poland's fate on his shoulders, to be active in this national politics, and the form of that activity will be decided by Rafał Trzaskowski himself - he continued.

It's hard not to agree with those who worry that we are divided in half, but above all, I want to emphasize one thing in this context. Yes, it was a very harsh campaign, perhaps too harsh at times. As I said yesterday, if anyone felt offended by what I said or how I behaved, either during the campaign or over the last five years, I ask for their forgiveness and also for a chance to improve over the next five years - said President Andrzej Duda in Odrzywół.

- I have often pondered what can be done to unite us more, what can be done to make us a more harmonious community. It seems to me that there is only one path to this. What Agata, my wife, said three days ago in Rzeszów, in her speech, namely respect. I simply ask, and I may appeal indefinitely for respect. For mutual respect, regardless of whether we like other views or not, whether we like behaviors or not. I would ask for respect, ladies and gentlemen, because it is enormously important that we respect each other more, that we sometimes refrain from unnecessary words, bite our tongues so as not to say one word too many, because words hurt, they can hurt very much, and that we also try to forgive if such words were spoken against us, that we try to move past it calmly, without reciprocating, without striking each other with harsh words, with sharp words - stated President Andrzej Duda

- During this campaign, I mainly watched TVN and Polsat to know what our opponents were watching. And I must say that TVN crossed all possible ethical boundaries, and I was surprised by the scale of manipulation. There was a lot of crude propaganda. We won't forget this - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with "Super Express".

- Certainly, unlike the elections five years ago, when all stations were involved in Bronisław Komorowski's re-election, we had much greater pluralism in the media. Everyone could change the channel and get another point of view. Five years ago, Andrzej Duda had to face a media wall, and that's why I believe Rafał Trzaskowski had it easier than our candidate did back then - he noted.

„[Rafał Trzaskowski] will definitely return to the City Hall full-time. I think it's a desire [expressed by Jan Grabiec] for Rafał Trzaskowski to do more, to be more involved, but he is 100% committed to being the Mayor of Warsaw, and has also become a leader of Polish local government officials. Presidents, mayors, and village heads have strongly supported him. He will likely continue to fulfill this role – that of a leader of Polish local government” – said Tomasz Siemoniak, Vice-Chairman of Civic Platform (PO), in an interview with Roch Kowalski on TOK FM’s "Political Interview". 

- Just a few months ago, it seemed that 9.5 million votes would be enough to be elected president. That was the result we were aiming for, and it would have been the best result in the history of the United Right. It turned out we gained a million more votes. Never before, in any election, have we received such support. That's a good two million more than in the parliamentary elections - said Adam Bielan in an interview with Dorota Gawryluk on the program "Gość Wydarzeń" (Guest of the Event) on Polsat News.

- I don't understand such disgruntlement. I can say that after the parliamentary elections, many people predicted we would lose the presidential election because we lost the Senate, and most polls published in the final days before the second round of the presidential election gave victory to our opponent - said Adam Bielan in Polsat News.

- There will be no forced acquisitions. Please do not portray it in a way that suggests we are rushing. When we are asked about the situation in the media market, we respond, but this does not mean we will immediately introduce any legislative projects. This is a very complex matter, requiring coordination within the European Union as well - said Adam Bielan in Polsat News.

The National Electoral Commission announced the official results of the presidential election at a press conference. Andrzej Duda won, obtaining 51.03% of the votes. Rafał Trzaskowski received 48.97% of the votes. Voter turnout was 68.18%.
