Morawiecki:

"The government has processed dozens of documents, bills, adopted resolutions, and regulations in the last 2-3 weeks. I myself have signed hundreds of documents. One simply has to work hard to reconcile different duties."

- As it happened, over the last two to three weeks, the government has processed dozens of documents, bills, adopted resolutions, and regulations, and I myself have signed hundreds of documents. One simply has to work hard to reconcile different duties. My presence on the campaign trail, however, is something absolutely obvious, because otherwise I would be completely inconsistent. I believe that changing the country is possible only and exclusively with President Andrzej Duda – said Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News' "Graffiti".

08:06

PM on the 'Coalition of Polish Affairs': The President Primarily Invited to Programmatic Cooperation

- The President primarily invited to programmatic cooperation, to discussion, and from the subsequent course of events, we will be able to draw appropriate conclusions. The closeness of this cooperation will depend primarily on the willingness to cooperate from the other political groups present in parliament - said Mateusz Morawiecki in Polsat News.

Morawiecki to Trzaskowski: Tackle Warsaw's Ecological Disaster and Drug-Driving Epidemic with Full Force

- Mr. Trzaskowski should tackle Warsaw with all his vigor, because until now, Warsaw has been an ecological disaster, and the Czajka sewage treatment plant [issue], and there are drivers who operate under the influence of drugs and pose enormous threats to residents, and recently, Mr. Editor and dear viewers, something very, very reprehensible has happened. Namely, funds transferred from the state budget to entrepreneurs, which the District Labour Offices were only supposed to distribute, were not even funds of the capital city of Warsaw; they were funds from the state budget, and Warsaw failed to manage this - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News.

08:23

Morawiecki:

While Poland was brutally attacked by the former Israeli Foreign Minister, Trzaskowski signed the LGBT charter

- Mr. Trzaskowski unfortunately belongs to those who, in such a situation, when Poland was attacked, and this was, for example, in February 2019, brutally attacked by the former Israeli Foreign Minister, he, as I heard, signed the LGBT charter on the same day, the same LGBT charter that Civic Platform politicians say will be implemented throughout the country. Mr. Editor, we need to focus on defending our good name, defending the capital, defending Poland, and he, at that time, goes on sick leave and signs the charter. The world has been turned upside down here - said Mateusz Morawiecki on Polsat News.

08:31

President Duda: Our Values are the Foundation; We Should Build a Coalition of Polish Interests Around Them. I Appeal to Politicians and Citizens Who Share These Values: Let's Create a Coalition of Polish Interests.
- I wasn't expecting enthusiastic reactions, but I do expect calm reflection, because I think it's worth considering that this is a very specific, indeed, I would say, historic moment. Europe and the world have found themselves in a difficult situation. Through this difficult situation, I'm thinking here of the coronavirus pandemic, of the economic crisis, we are emerging relatively unscathed, thanks to the good actions of the Polish authorities - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka Political Salon". - This is a great opportunity for our development, and I think it's worth using it to act together for the development of Poland. But one must always ask oneself what the foundation is, and I believe that the foundation of all of this is our values, and that we should build precisely such a coalition of Polish interests around them. And I appeal to those politicians to whom these values are close, but also to citizens to whom these values are close, and who vote for politicians, to create a coalition of Polish interests. Because there are certainly many areas where opinions are exactly the same. Of course, there are differences, let's discuss these differences more calmly, and let's implement what is most important, what is truly significant. That from which, I hope, we will one day be able to be proud before future generations, by passing on Poland to them - PAD continued to say.

08:50

Duda:

The accusations that I didn't want to block laws that were part of my platform amused me. I apologize, but I didn't have PO's platform.

- I intend to act reasonably as the President of the Republic of Poland for the Republic of Poland, realizing the vision of Poland as I see it. Simply put. And over the last 5 years, when I believed PiS was acting in a way that required presidential intervention, those were my vetoes. And PiS, the United Right, was not happy with those vetoes. Not when I vetoed the law on the Regional Audit Chamber, at the request of local government representatives from very different political backgrounds, nor when I vetoed the law on the Supreme Court and the National Council of the Judiciary, partly also at the request of Piotr Duda, because the protection of the administrative staff of the Supreme Court, provided for in Article 21 of the Labour Code, was removed, and moreover, the role of the Prosecutor General was too significant in relation to Supreme Court judges, and I believed that this should not be the case in a democratic state, and I did not agree with that - stated President Andrzej Duda in "Trójka's Political Salon".

- And similarly, when Paweł Kukiz came to me and asked me to block the electoral law for the European Parliament, i.e., changes to the Electoral Code, because he showed that the effective electoral threshold would be at the level of over a dozen percent, and it turned out he was right, and I actually blocked it because I believed it would be better for Poland, for democracy, that my duty as president was precisely to stop it. And that's what I simply did, and it's a matter of presidential responsibility, and I assure you that I always thought independently. Because the accusations that I didn't want to block laws that were part of my platform amused me. I apologize profusely, but I did not have PO's platform. No - PAD continued.

09:54

Trzaskowski:

Internal Polls Show Us Winning, But It's Neck and Neck. We Need This Final Mobilization
The last day of the campaign. We have little time left, a dozen or so hours, to convince everyone who still needs convincing. This is the final stage, a very important stage. Although our internal polls show us winning, you know it's neck and neck. We need this final mobilization” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for president from Civic Coalition and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Oborniki Śląskie.

09:55

Trzaskowski on Kaczyński's Interview: I Learned I Don't Have the Soul of a Pole, but I Don't Think This Is About Me, Because Kaczyński is Very Afraid. He Wants to Tighten the Screws on Us

"Yesterday, something happened that we were eagerly awaiting, because Jarosław Kaczyński revealed himself to us. He held a small government meeting on TV Trwam, because the government hasn't convened for the last month, as everyone is working on President Duda's campaign, the great PiS machine has started. We could learn a few important things yesterday. Firstly, listen, that I don't have the soul of a Pole, but I don't think this is about me, because Mr. President Kaczyński is very afraid and is offended by half of society. Very offended, very nervous. This does not bode well for the future if Mr. President's candidate were to win. When Mr. President is angry, he is in a very bad mood. And when he is in a bad mood, unfortunately, he tells the truth. And the truth is that he wants to tighten the screws on us" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's candidate for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Oborniki Śląskie.

10:13

Trzaskowski:

The Ruling Party Are Unbelievable Hypocrites Trying to Teach Us About Family and Patriotism While Cutting IVF and Defending Pedophiles Over Victims

Today, those in power constantly stray from the truth. It must be clearly stated that they are a group of unbelievable hypocrites who try to teach us about family and patriotism, yet they cut IVF, believe there is no problem with domestic violence, and all experts see how money is being taken from non-governmental organizations. Even when it comes to what are perhaps the worst imaginable crimes against the family, they prefer to defend the pedophile instead of the victims of pedophilia. This is precisely the deceit of those in power” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for President and Mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Oborniki Śląskie.

10:16

Bielan:

I believe PAD will win. I am an optimist, but I am absolutely not certain of this victory. Much depends on mobilization, turnout
- This will be decided by Poles on Sunday. I believe the president will win. I am an optimist, but I am absolutely not certain of this victory. We know that much depends on mobilization, turnout. This turnout in the first round was record-breaking for presidential elections in recent years, almost 65%, and I hope it will be even higher this coming Sunday, although we know that this is already the holiday season, many people may be away from their place of residence, so we are appealing for them to take certificates and register in the voter registry - stated Adam Bielan in TVN24's "One on One".

10:19

Bielan:

Poland is Divided, and After the Elections, the Entire Political Class Will Have to Consider How to Re-Unite the Country

- I agree, Poland is divided, and after the elections, we will all, the entire political class, have to consider what to do to re-unite Poland, because regardless of who wins the presidential election, we will have to cooperate with each other. I am counting on Andrzej Duda winning, also because I would not want to transfer these emotions, this dispute between PiS and PO, to the level of the government and the president – stated Adam Bielan in 'Jeden na jeden' on TVN24.

11:15

President Duda: "I Spoke with the Prime Minister, and He Said He is Establishing a Special, Multi-Year Fund to Repair Damage in Podkarpacie and Małopolska Caused by Storms"

- The losses are indeed great. I spoke with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on your behalf, and the Prime Minister said that he is establishing a special fund, which will be multi-year and from which the damages that have occurred here in Podkarpacie and Małopolska due to the storms will be repaired - said President Andrzej Duda in Jasienica Rosielna.

11:17

Bosak:

We'll Have to Endure One of These Gentlemen for Another 5 Years. This Doesn't Change the Fact That We Want to Replace the Entire Political Class

We'll have to endure one of these gentlemen for another 5 years. This doesn't change the fact that we want to replace the entire political class, which is in PiS, in the Civic Platform, where there are revolving doors between these two parties, and over a dozen is the number of important politicians who have moved from one camp to the other and are doing perfectly well without changing their views” – said Krzysztof Bosak from Confederation in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

11:19

Duda:

My Goal is for Poles to Never Have to Leave for Work Again

- My goal is for Poles to never again have to leave their country for work, so that they can earn a decent living and support their families at a decent standard. This is my fundamental and most important goal, and over the last five years, since 2015, we have begun – because it wasn't just me, I was indeed elected by you, the people, to the office of President of the Republic of Poland with a program for changing the approach in Polish politics – said President Andrzej Duda in Jasienica Rosielna.

11:42

Morawiecki:

Trzaskowski was in Kopacz's government when rubber bullets were fired at miners. Did anyone hear his protest?

In January 2015, when Mr. Trzaskowski was in Mrs. Kopacz's government, shots were fired from smoothbore weapons. When, a few weeks later in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, when rubber bullets were fired directly at miners, when there were 20 injured, that was the policy of Civic Platform, Mr. Trzaskowski was in the government then, one of the main figures. Did anyone hear his words of protest? And President Duda did protest then. Dear Silesians, today, in the face of this fundamental choice for Silesia, let's look at the facts, let's look at the actions. Instead of this pseudo-liberal policy of our predecessors, we are trying to make major investments for Silesia. The facts and money speak for themselves," stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Mysłowice.

12:20

Trzaskowski:

Yesterday I heard words that I don't have a Polish soul, I don't have a Polish heart. These elections are about whether we will continue to be divided in Poland, or whether hatred will continue to reign
"Yesterday I heard words that I don't have a Polish soul, I don't have a Polish heart, from Mr. Chairman. I have often wondered how to summarize what these elections are about. I will tell you that I know exactly what these elections are about. These elections are about whether we will continue to be divided in Poland, or whether hatred will continue to reign, whether we will finally be able to be together. That is what these elections are about," said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Świdnica.

12:21

Trzaskowski:

This Government and the President Serving It Have Shown How Truly Disgusting This Government Is. Homophobia, Antisemitism. These Are Merely the Final Days of What They Feed Us on Public Television

This government and the president who serves this government have shown how truly disgusting this government is. What we have seen over the last days, weeks, and years is an attempt to divide us, to incite against us, to sow hatred from morning till night. Look how long this list is. If you watch partisan television, you will see that it is solely about hatred, solely about dividing Poles. Who haven't they attacked yet? Look at what is happening. Homophobia, antisemitism. These are merely the final days of what they feed us on public television. They don't even particularly hide this antisemitism and homophobia. They attack Germans, they attack everyone. Teachers. They attacked parents of disabled children” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Świdnica.

12:28

President Duda: Immediately After the Presidential Election, I Will Submit a Presidential Bill on the 75+ Senior Health Centre

In the near future, immediately after the presidential election, I will submit a presidential bill on the 75+ senior health centre, so that seniors have comprehensive medical care, because not only do they need it, but they also deserve it. After all, they have worked their whole lives and deserve care adequate to their age – said President Andrzej Duda in Niebylec.

12:34

Duda:

We Held Poland Firmly, Like a Climber on a Rope in an Emergency. We Managed to Stay on the Wall, We Didn't Fall. Perhaps We Slipped a Little Due to the Coronavirus.
Today, above all, we need to get Poland back on the path of development. We held Poland firmly, like a climber on a rope when something happens. We managed to stay on the wall, we didn't fall. Perhaps we slipped a little due to the coronavirus, due to the economic crisis, but we are still very high up - said President Andrzej Duda in Niebylec.

12:36

Trzaskowski on His Wife: 'Gośka is a Certain Symbol. She is One of You. She Never Engaged in Politics. She is a True Pole, a Proud Silesian, Who Simply Couldn't Take It Anymore. She'd Had Enough.'

I really like it when you shout ‘Małgosia’. Gośka is a certain symbol. She is one of you. She never engaged in politics. We never even talked about politics at home, to avoid wearing out our nerves, but she is one of you, a true Pole, a proud Silesian, who simply couldn’t take it anymore. She’d had enough. I spoke with her many times before, and she always told me, ‘Rafał, politics, why?’, and today she got involved herself because she has the same anger in her as you do, because she believes we must fight for women's rights, that we must hold our heads high, that we must fight for values, for the future of our children. Just like you, she feels humiliated when older gentlemen in suits wanted to decide about her future and her rights” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Świdnica.

Duda’s Latest Comic Spot Shows KO Candidate as a Chameleon:

His Plan is Veto, Veto, Veto. Trzaskowski is Ready to Say Anything to Get to the Palace, Because He Wants to Block Everything.
"Rafał Trzaskowski is ready to say anything to get to the Presidential Palace, because he wants to block everything: investments, social programs, low retirement age, everything," - says the narrator dynamically in the latest spot of the presidential re-election campaign, characterized by rapid editing and a comic style. Trzaskowski is depicted as a chameleon in it. When the words "his program is a subject of jokes, he himself doesn't know what's in it" are spoken, a comic LOL appears. - "Because his plan is veto, veto, veto," says the narrator, as in the clip, an archetypal corporate employee throws crumpled papers into a trash can. - And now is not the time to block everything. The coronavirus has hit the global economy. Now, more than ever, it is in your interest to have a president cooperating with the government, - hearing these words in the spot, we see Andrzej Duda with Prime Minister Morawiecki at the Vistula Spit excavation. When the narrator says that "Trzaskowski and the Platform behind him do not hide that their political vector is different," we see - among other things - a man in a tight costume, likely from one of the Equality Marches... - Instead of saving the country after the epidemic, the dispute over the chair will return, and our partners will be confused, - we hear, and the spot features, for example, short clips of PAD with Trump. The spot concludes with a sign: “Simple Calculation. I Choose Duda 2020” and the narrator says: “Let’s not allow Poland’s development to be blocked.” https://youtu.be/1aF9tKZR26I

Bielan Warns: Trzaskowski's Election Means 'War at the Top' and Years of Conflict

- On the final day of the campaign and at the last campaign rally, a rally dedicated to Rafał Trzaskowski, who is a political chameleon capable of saying absolutely anything before an election, regardless of what he has proclaimed or done in recent years. The issue is that he is not only capable of saying anything before an election, but after the election, for the sake of his party, PO, he is capable of blocking everything. Investments, important social programs, reforms – Adam Bielan said at a press briefing.

- Rafał Trzaskowski's political plan is veto, veto, veto. And especially now, as Poland emerges from the coronavirus crisis, when coordinated cooperation between the president and the government is needed, electing Rafał Trzaskowski would mean paralysis and the loss of a huge opportunity for our country's development in the coming years. Therefore, we warn all Poles who are currently hesitant about whom to vote for, perhaps they do not entirely agree politically with President Duda, with our political camp, we warn against choosing Rafał Trzaskowski, because Trzaskowski's election will mean war at the top, a years-long dispute between the president and the government, blocking everything that the government is preparing – he continued.

15:27

Trzaskowska:

In This Election, Every Vote Could Be Crucial. I Especially Urge Polish Women Who Voted for Another Candidate, Are Undecided, or Did Not Participate in the First Round. Women, Girls, Join Us!

This Sunday, we have a chance to improve the lives of our children, grandchildren, our families, friends, neighbours, and our own. In this election, every vote could be crucial. I especially urge Polish women who voted for another candidate, are undecided, or did not participate in the first round. Women, girls, join us! Join us because a woman's vote is Poland's vote. Don't let decisions be made for us. Let's choose a president for all of us” – said Małgorzata Trzaskowska in Kłodzko.

President Duda: Family is a boy and a girl. Family is marriage, a union of a woman and a man

- Family, family, and family once again. Its protection is paramount. And this family is a boy and a girl. This family is marriage, which is a union of a woman and a man. This is family. A family that raises children, just like spouses who have the constitutional right to raise children according to their own beliefs - said President Andrzej Duda in Dębica.

Trzaskowski met with Tokarczuk:

It is an honor and a pleasure to meet a person I have so far known mainly through her fantastic books.

"It is an honor and a pleasure to meet a person I have so far known mainly through her fantastic books." This is how Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of Warsaw, described his meeting with Olga Tokarczuk, the Nobel laureate in Literature.

The meeting took place on Monday, July 13th, 2020. The mayor shared a photograph from the encounter on his Twitter account, with the caption quoted above.

The meeting was reportedly a private one, and no official details were released regarding its purpose or content. However, given Tokarczuk's prominent role as a cultural figure and Trzaskowski's position as the head of the capital city, it is likely that the discussion touched upon topics related to culture, literature, and the role of art in public life.

Olga Tokarczuk, awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2018, is one of Poland's most acclaimed contemporary writers. Her works, known for their philosophical depth and imaginative narratives, have garnered international recognition.

Rafał Trzaskowski, a politician and former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, has been the Mayor of Warsaw since November 2018. He is also a prominent figure in Polish politics, having been the Civic Platform's candidate for President of Poland in 2020.

17:49

President Duda: "Look at Poland. Look at how you lived before 2015, and how you live now."

- I am not saying that we were infallible over the last five years; I am not saying that I have always been infallible. Nor am I saying that all the commitments from those 2015 elections have been absolutely fulfilled. But I am saying, look at Poland. Look at how you lived before 2015, and how you live now - said President Andrzej Duda in Rzeszów.

17:52

PAD:

This will be my second term. According to the Polish constitution, my second and final. I will be accountable only to God, history, and the nation.
- I am running to be president for another five years. This will be a different term because Poland is different. Furthermore, it will be my second term. According to the Polish constitution, my second and final. I will be accountable only to God, history, and the nation; I will be accountable to the state - said President Andrzej Duda in Rzeszów.

18:02

President Duda: I Want to Thank Two People Who Are Extremely Important to Me and Who Have Always Been There for Me. My Wife Agata and My Daughter Kinga
I want to take this moment to thank two people whom you know, and who are extremely important to me and who have always been by my side, in every, even the most difficult situation. I want to thank my wife Agata, and I want to thank my daughter Kinga. They are here with me. They both came to this event, to Rzeszów, to show that we stand like a wall behind a Poland that will be a modern Poland, but at the same time a Poland strong in its tradition – said President Andrzej Duda in Rzeszów. -  We have experienced many difficult moments, but Agata has always stood by my side with dignity, representing our country and all of you, and I thank her enormously for that. She was everywhere, she was there, quietly and calmly, not trying to shine in the media, everywhere where human dramas unfolded, where people suffered, where they felt alone – the President continued. - I also thank my daughter Kinga, because wherever she was, in various places around the world, participating in her legal competitions, she proudly showed that Poles can be counted among the best and can be among the best – he added.

18:20

Agata Kornhauser-Duda: Regardless of what the future holds or Sunday's outcome, I propose we, and you Mr. Rafał and Ms. Małgorzata, respectfully accept the choice of our fellow citizens.

- Dear esteemed ladies and gentlemen, today I address you not as the President's wife, but as Andrzej's wife. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the immense support you give my husband. Thank you for every smile, for every kind word, for every handshake. You don't even know how important this is to him. Because of you, he has so much strength to conduct this campaign, to finish it. And, let's hope, to win as well. Thank you very, very much for this - said Agata Kornhauser-Duda during the president's rally in Rzeszów.

- Dear ladies and gentlemen, as my husband mentioned, this campaign was truly very difficult and very brutal. It is said that campaigns have their own rules. That is probably true. Campaign teams also compete in various kinds of slanders, in various kinds of lies, unfortunately, and I must say, perhaps it is indeed like that. I do not consent to this. I will never understand it. I have an appeal. When I meet with children, with young people, I always tell them that it is worth having dreams, and I have such a dream, ladies and gentlemen. I have such a dream that we finally start treating each other with respect. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the most important thing - the First Lady continued.

- Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, each of us has certain views, and these are of course different views, but can we not differ beautifully? Ladies and gentlemen, we can. We can surround ourselves with warmth and kindness. Ladies and gentlemen, the world is truly beautiful, and I can see this from you, from your smiling faces. Please, ladies and gentlemen, let us treat each other with respect. I also have an appeal to Mr. Rafał and Ms. Małgorzata. Regardless, ladies and gentlemen, of what the future holds for us or what happens on Sunday, I propose that we, and you, Mr. Rafał and Ms. Małgorzata, respectfully accept the choice of our fellow citizens. Let the majority decide. Ladies and gentlemen, I sincerely encourage you to go to the polls, to exercise your right to vote, and to vote for, rather than against. And let Poland win, ladies and gentlemen, because Poland is the most important thing - she stated.

Grodzki's Address: Many Matters Decided, Social Programs Integrated into Reality. Authorities Constitutionally Obligated to Cooperate for the Good of the Country
This Sunday, we will stand face to face with history. These will not be ordinary elections, but a moment that will determine the fate of our great nation for years to come. We will decide what vision of Poland we want. Do we want a Poland that is free, democratic, self-governing and united, civic and open, strong within the European Union, a Poland without hatred and divisions – or will we go down a different path, stated Tomasz Grodzki in his address.

This day will go down in history, which has sometimes been harsh to us, but has also given us moments of unimaginable glory, like a hundred years ago, when we saved Poland and Europe from Bolshevism. The experience of 1920 – the Miracle on the Vistula – remains relevant. It teaches us that when we are together, we achieve the impossible. A hundred years ago, we won because the will for freedom and independence was stronger than the Red Army. This invincible desire still burns in our hearts, emphasized the Marshal of the Senate. Below is the full text of the speech.

*****

Our Constitution clearly states that "The Republic of Poland is the common good of all citizens" and "Supreme authority belongs to the Nation".

This reference to the nation remains the most relevant message for those in power. Authority, including the president, derives from the nation and is meant to serve the nation. The entire nation. Let us remember that power serves citizens, not citizens serve power.

Almost none of us, citizens of the Republic – here and around the world – remain indifferent to the upcoming presidential elections. This is evidenced by the very high turnout in the first round and the predicted record turnout in the second. This is proof of our sense of responsibility for the fate of the country and the nation – a proud community of free people.

Together, we will elect the President of the Republic of Poland, who must be the guardian of the Constitution and the true commander-in-chief of the armed forces. A President who will unite our nation, as they face the responsible and difficult task of rebuilding the national community, so painfully affected in recent years by divisions, hateful words, and deeds. The choice of head of state is, above all, a choice of path for the future, a shared dream of a modern, strong, developing, and proud Poland.

Many matters have already been settled. Social and welfare programs have become part of our reality. The authorities are constitutionally obligated to cooperate to best serve the country. The elected president, whoever it may be, must not only cooperate with the government and parliament. They must set an example by building harmony and inspire others to cooperate.

Poland began with the dreams of our ancestors about a great common cause – about the Republic.
The strength of our great and proud nation lies in diversity, respect for inherent human dignity, and the understanding that we are all equal and deserve the same respect. Only in this way can we provide our children and grandchildren with the Poland of our dreams – a safe, modern, and prosperous haven, where we will feel at home.

This Sunday, we will stand face to face with history. These will not be ordinary elections, but a moment that will determine the fate of our great nation for years to come. We will decide what vision of Poland we want. Do we want a Poland that is free, democratic, self-governing and united, civic and open, strong within the European Union, a Poland without hatred and divisions – or will we go down a different path.

This invincible desire still burns in our hearts.

Let us remember that nothing is given once and for all. Freedom, democracy, and sovereignty must be guarded and defended. We, the nation, will decide who our president will be. Let us go to the polls, observing precautionary measures and sanitary regimes, as the coronavirus is still dangerous. Let us vote and choose wisely. Let us go to the polls – we, the free citizens of a proud and independent Republic!

Duda on Trzaskowski: He's Fabricating Arguments, Mostly Lies. No One Was Attacking Women's Rights. I Don't Understand What He's Talking About.

- [Trzaskowski] is fabricating all sorts of arguments, which are mostly absolute lies and manipulations, because no one was attacking women's rights. I really don't understand what this is all about. Besides, both he and his supporters have been attacking me ruthlessly lately, but I understand that this is campaigning - said President Andrzej Duda in a conversation with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

- Perhaps it concerns the “Black Protest” from a few years ago? - stated the journalist.

- Mr. Editor, but the “Black Protest” was on one side, and on the other side were women who had completely different opinions, so it depends on how women themselves interpret their rights and what their rights are - replied the president.

20:00

Duda:

Trzaskowski Will Try Everything to Overthrow the United Right Government

- What does Mr. Trzaskowski intend to propose? Mr. Trzaskowski will try to do everything to move towards overthrowing the United Right government. The United Right government, which implemented anti-crisis shields to save Polish entrepreneurs and the economy - President Andrzej Duda said on Polsat News.

20:02

Duda:

Respect is Crucial; It's Often Lacking in Our Politics, Which is Sad

- A campaign is tough political work, and neither Kinga nor Agata have ever been particularly involved in politics. I wouldn't have even imagined my wife enduring all these campaign hardships with me, as she is generally a lady, and I wouldn't expose her to that. It is, however, very, very difficult, an effort, it's hard work, a lot of meetings. Sometimes during a campaign, you don't eat enough, sometimes you don't sleep enough. It's a task for those who truly want to hold office, for their closest collaborators, for that group. And I'm glad that my wife supported me today, because it was important to me. And that's why I wanted us to stand together at the end of the campaign, to show that we are one, together, that we are there for each other in the most difficult moments. Even if various unfounded accusations, the worst kind, are thrown at us, especially at me, it doesn't change the fact that we are a family, united, and always support each other. That's why I'm very happy that both my ladies were with me today - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".

- Above all, I believe, and have always believed, that my compatriots decide. And for me, the verdict of my compatriots is final. If Poles make a decision, I will always respect that decision. Of course, I am fighting for victory and I deeply believe that I will win, that I will be able to continue my presidential work. It will be a bit different now, because a second term is always a different presidency. First and foremost, there is great experience. Moreover, it has the specificity that you are accountable solely to God, the nation, and history. However, I think it is important to always have mutual respect. I have always said that. I am very happy that Agata said it today. Respect, respect, and once again, respect. This respect is sometimes lacking in our politics, and that is sad - he continued.

20:08

Duda:

I Will Certainly Not Urge the Campaign Team to Lodge Election Protests

- I will certainly not urge the campaign team to lodge [election] protests. As I said, I will always accept with full humility the verdict made or issued by the voters in my country, by my compatriots. I am fighting in the campaign because I believe that the majority of Poles actually want Poland to continue to develop, for Poland to continue to be built in reality, for social programs that we have established to continue to be implemented, to endure, not to be limited or liquidated, that Poles know perfectly well what Poland looked like in the years 2007-2015, how they lived then, and how they live now, since 2015, since I was elected president until today. I think Poles are very wise and they will compare this and make their choice - stated President Andrzej Duda in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

20:12

Duda:

Tusk Has Been Fighting for Trzaskowski to Become President from the Start, Because He's His Man. After All, He Was a Minister in His Government

- I think Donald Tusk, who is today the head of the EPP, the party to which Civic Platform belongs, has simply been fighting from the very beginning for Rafał Trzaskowski to become president, because he is his man. After all, he was a minister in his government, today he is the vice-chairman of Civic Platform, and de facto reports to him within the European structures to which Civic Platform belongs. Donald Tusk is his boss, and obviously, he wants his subordinate to seize this presidential seat in Poland and to implement the kind of policy they once pursued, whereas Poles decidedly protested against this policy in 2015 – stated President Andrzej Duda in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

Trzaskowski in Rybnik, Campaign Climax Accompanied by "Dream of Victory"

The final rally of Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski is underway in Rybnik. The event began with a reminder of the candidate's campaign spots and a recording of Krzysztof Zalewski's endorsement.

Trzaskowski entered the stage to the music of Dżem and their song "Sen o Victorii" (Dream of Victory).

22:17

Trzaskowska:

These are historic elections. Every vote counts. Women, my dears, go to the polls on Sunday! Don't let decisions be made for us. We must decide for ourselves.

It is so good to be home, in my beloved city, in Rybnik! I am happy to be here and I am happy that you are here. I see many familiar faces. These are historic elections. In these elections, every vote is of utmost importance. I especially wanted to address the ladies. Women, my dears, go to the polls on Sunday! Don't let decisions be made for us. We must decide for ourselves. We have a superpower, my dears!” - said Małgorzata Trzaskowska in Rybnik.

22:26

Trzaskowski:

Throughout these past years, they have continuously tried to attack virtually everyone: Silesians, teachers, doctors, and residents of large cities, unfortunately, also parents of people with disabilities.
“We started the campaign in Rybnik and we are ending it in Rybnik, because it has symbolic significance, as we are all proud Poles. Throughout this campaign, there have been so many attempts to divide and attack us. Throughout these past years, they have continuously tried to attack virtually everyone: Silesians, teachers, doctors, and also to attack residents of large cities, unfortunately, also parents of people with disabilities. You have seen a lot of this. In fact, probably everyone in Poland has been attacked in some way. Perhaps only the chairman [of the ruling party] remains untouched,” said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of the Civic Coalition for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Rybnik at the campaign finale.

22:26

Trzaskowski:

'All of us in Poland have Polish hearts and Polish souls, and we will never again allow ourselves to be divided or attacked. We will loudly say, "We've had enough of hatred."'
"All of us, all of us in Poland have Polish hearts and Polish souls, and we will never again allow ourselves to be divided or attacked. We will loudly say, 'We've had enough of hatred.' A few years ago, when I was walking around Rybnik, I never expected to be able to speak before you and receive only applause, because it's not that simple for someone from Warsaw to speak in Silesia and get only applause," said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for President of the Republic from the Civic Coalition and Mayor of Warsaw, at the campaign finale in Rybnik.

22:27

Trzaskowski:

These Elections are About Losing Something We Don't Think About Daily, Yet It's the Foundation of Our Freedom – Losing Free Courts, Free Media, Local Governments, But Above All, Losing Our Soul
“We didn’t realize that someone would appear who would want to lecture all of us, who would tell us what family and patriotism are, and who would tell us who has Polish hearts and a Polish soul. We didn’t expect such times could come. That is precisely what these elections are about. These elections are about losing something we don't think about daily, yet it's the foundation of our freedom – losing free courts, free media, local governments, but above all, losing our soul. We will not allow this, and that is precisely why we need change, so as not to have our soul and our freedom taken away” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, in Rybnik at the campaign finale.

22:33

Trzaskowski:

These Elections Are Exceptional. Like 30 Years Ago, We Can Decide That We No Longer Need to Protest Against Something, But Can Advocate for Positive Change
"These elections are exceptional. Like 30 years ago, we can decide that we no longer need to protest against something, against the politicization of courts, against the limitation of local government rights, against the attack on women's rights, but can advocate for positive change. We can be for a Poland that is proud, but proud of its diversity, its different traditions, proud that it can be together" – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for the Civic Coalition presidency and Mayor of Warsaw, in Rybnik at the campaign finale.

22:33

Trzaskowski to Silesians: You are the Quintessence of What Matters Most – Attachment to Tradition and Full Pride in Hard Work

Therefore, I wanted to symbolically be with you in Silesia, because I want to say that you are the quintessence of what matters most – attachment to tradition and full pride in hard work” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the candidate of Civic Coalition for president and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Rybnik during the campaign finale.

22:40

Trzaskowski:

Today we need a president who fears nothing, except perhaps his own wife, who is independent, who sleeps at night and doesn't take calls from the party leader to sign laws
"Today we need a president who fears nothing, except perhaps his own wife, who is independent, who sleeps at night and doesn't take calls from the party leader to sign laws. We have a huge opportunity for this. Precisely for this, for change" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, in Rybnik at the campaign finale.

22:41

Trzaskowski:

On one side is the propaganda steamroller, the state entirely politicized. On the other side, us, civil society. And we will win these elections.

"It's very close. It's so close that even one government polling agency, and we know it well, initially showed a 7% difference, and today it indicates we are winning. There really is a chance. This is our biggest victory. On one side is the propaganda steamroller, the state has been entirely politicized. This steamroller has tried to crush absolutely everything, all state institutions, all ministers, the Prime Minister, the President, everyone from PiS has been engaged in campaigning all the time. And on the other side, there is us, civil society. And we will win these elections" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and the mayor of Warsaw, in Rybnik at the campaign finale.

23:00

Piotr Duda at PAD's Rally: Since 2015, We've Had an Ally, a Partner, a Good Man Who Understood and Understands Workers' Issues
For eight years of the war that "Solidarity" waged against Civic Platform and PSL, a war for workers' rights, but also for values. Values that guide every member of "Solidarity", it was of great importance to us, we were then at the forefront of this fight. But since 2015, since August, we have had an ally, a partner, a good man who understood and understands workers' issues. He understands what dialogue entails, and from the very beginning, from August, we embarked on a painstaking, difficult journey through these words that I spoke two weeks ago in Zakopane: credibility – said Piotr Duda during Andrzej Duda's rally in Zamość.

23:08

Piotr Duda: Nowoczesna's Bill That De Facto Banned Trade Unions. Where Was Trzaskowski Then? He Was an MP and Voted for This Bad Bill to Proceed to Further Reading

- I am also addressing trade unionists from this place, because we are again talking about credibility and forgetfulness or memory. 2017, a bill to amend the Act on Trade Unions, proposed by Nowoczesna, which is currently part of PO. A bill that de facto banned trade unions. Where was Mr. Trzaskowski then? He was an MP and voted for this bill, a bad bill, to proceed to further reading. This is a disgrace, Mr. Trzaskowski, and today you say you are looking into workers' issues. NSZZ Solidarność and President Duda are looking into workers' issues - stated Piotr Duda in Zamość.

23:10

Piotr Duda on Trzaskowski: A Deputy Chairman of Civic Platform, yet so independent. He's as independent as Komorowski, who signed everything Donald Tusk's government put on his desk, especially the pension age increase.

- Mr. President, we hear here and there that candidate Trzaskowski is trying to appear independent. A deputy chairman of Civic Platform, yet so independent. He's as independent as Bronisław Komorowski, who signed everything Donald Tusk's government put on his desk, and most importantly, the pension age increase, and we must never forget that - stated Piotr Duda in Zamość.

23:13

Piotr Duda: I Appeal to All Workers in Poland. You Must Go and Vote on Sunday for a Good President, Who Has Been Credible for 5 Years and Fulfilled Many Worker Demands

- Therefore, from this place, here at the end of the campaign, I appeal to all workers in Poland, and there are 16 million of them. First and foremost, you must go and vote on Sunday for a good president, who has been credible for 5 years, who has fulfilled many worker demands, who did not hesitate to sign the law restricting trade on Sundays, thanks to which mothers can now spend Sundays with their children, instead of toiling in the workplace - stated Piotr Duda in Zamość.

23:33

President Duda: This is the Poland I Want to Build. A Poland of Mutual Respect, a Poland of Diverse Views, but a Poland of Respect for Others, of Respect for Values

- One thing unites us: mutual respect. This is precisely the Poland I want to build. A Poland of mutual respect, a Poland of diverse views, but a Poland of respect for fellow human beings, of respect for values. I need nothing more than for such a Poland to exist. And that is why I want to strive for it. I know that very many of my fellow Poles want to strive for this. I know that many of my compatriots expect exactly such a Poland - said President Andrzej Duda in Zamość.

23:44

Duda:

Please, go and persuade everyone to go. Don't listen to those who say that if someone voted in the first round, they don't need to vote for Andrzej Duda in the second. Don't listen to liars.
It was a long campaign, as I said. Thank you for your presence during it. In two days, presidential elections await us, the second round of these elections. Please, go and persuade everyone to go. Don't listen to those who say that if someone voted in the first round, they don't need to vote for Andrzej Duda in the second. I very much ask that they go and vote for Andrzej Duda a second time. I ask for everyone's support. Don't listen to falsifiers, don't listen to liars, because they are trying to mislead us. They are trying to push us off the path that Poland has been on for the last few years. The path of development through support for the family. The path of development through recognizing human needs. The path of development through respect for the fundamental values that have built Poland and Polishness for over 1050 years. Demanding respect for these values. Fighting for them to survive. Fighting so they are not taken from us, fighting so that parents can raise their children according to their own beliefs, so that no one tries to sneak foreign ideology through the back door, an ideology that destroys the family and destroys identity - stated Piotr Duda in Zamość.
