- This is a serious political offer from me [a coalition for Polish affairs], because I believe that Poland needs it at this moment, especially in this difficult situation, when all of Europe is still immersed in the coronavirus pandemic, when many EU countries are facing a tragic economic situation, even experiencing GDP declines of several percent. We are in a better situation, but this only shows that we should unite in addressing these economic and human issues that will allow for a dignified life. This is the most important matter right now, and for us it is a great task on the one hand, but on the other hand, in my feeling, also a historic opportunity. Huge amounts of money are also being prepared in the EU for investment purposes. This must be done calmly and harmoniously, and that is precisely why a coalition for Polish affairs is needed - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.

- This is something everyone understands. I think there is no doubt here in United Right that such a move, which will bring more political forces together around this pro-state, pro-social action, is very much needed for Poland, and I think people are also waiting for these actions to repair the economy and improve the quality of life in a calm, stable, and consistent manner - PAD continued.

Considering the first-round result, this mobilization was quite satisfactory; we should also take this opportunity to heartily thank our voters. But now on Sunday, in the second round, it must be even greater. We must decisively and en masse go to the polling stations and cast our vote for President Andrzej Duda - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Stanisław Janecki on Polskie Radio 24.

- It's too early to talk about any changes, and that's not what the President's speech yesterday was about. Naturally, in such situations, commentators and politicians always try to outline various scenarios, but the President's address was a sincere outstretched hand to circles that are currently separate but essentially have a lot in common - said Radosław Fogiel on Polskie Radio 24.

- Let's not be passive. In a special year, the 30th anniversary of Polish local government, we are choosing a man who understands local government, which means he understands all of us. I am convinced that Rafał Trzaskowski will be a good president - says Jacek Sutryk in a recording published on Facebook, in which local government officials from Lower Silesia, mayors of several dozen cities, encourage voting for the Civic Platform candidate.

According to our sources, the mayor of Wrocław is gathering the entire local government team from Lower Silesia and organizing a meeting with Rafał Trzaskowski in Świdnica on Friday. The intention is for it to be a "show of force," and several dozen local government officials have confirmed their participation.

- We are a local government family. We are united by values, by community. We are united by our commitment to democracy, freedom, and mutual respect. In the local government family – I think, like in any family, we try to support and encourage each other. Especially in these important moments. That is why we speak with one voice – on Sunday, July 12, we will cast our vote for Rafał Trzaskowski. Because he is one of us. Because he understands local government, understands residents and their problems. Because he will solve these problems together, based on dialogue - it was written on Facebook.

- I will not resign. I received such a vote of no confidence from the party's board, what we call the Supreme Executive Committee here, immediately after the elections. I will undergo verification soon, at the congress. Either at the end of this year or the beginning of next, because the coronavirus delayed our internal campaign. I will run for president again – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- My voters have their own minds; if they had the courage to vote for me, nearly half a million people in the first round, in such a polarized reality, they know what choice to make. I stand on the side of values, democracy, and a state based on constitutional principles. If anything is needed today, it is principles in this approach, and most of my voters, as poll and political science analyses also show, whatever we call them, will likely vote for Rafał Trzaskowski. I am also leaning in that direction because I have also recently heard about slogans like tax-free retirement, voluntary social security contributions, a referendum day, and, I think, an open Chancellery of the President. I believe my election program was accepted almost 90%, and even before the first round, I heard slogans in Rafał Trzaskowski's program that were taken directly from my statements, political rallies, and conventions. It's good that he confirmed this later - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- I didn't receive any invitation, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and PSL, Confederation received the invitation. I am not a member of PSL, nor do I intend to join PSL. I am a representative of the Kukiz’15 movement and I have six MPs in the Sejm - said Paweł Kukiz in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM's "Morning Interview".

„This is the fundamental issue. Either Andrzej Duda, a second term, Poland's development, maintaining achievements, the thirteenth pension, 500+, retirement age of 60/65, or Rafał Trzaskowski, the introduction of a very bad ideology, demoralizing children, adoption of children by homosexual couples. This is also undoubtedly a consequence of this ideology. The halting of our country's development, the loss of five years of achievements” – said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Jedynka radio. 

- To put it mildly, the PSL does not evoke positive associations among voters. Unfortunately, these messages that he was a PSL candidate largely caused this result. He worked very hard, I saw it. He was probably the hardest working candidate, but, first flaw, not under the Polish Coalition banner, but under the PSL logo, which, as I said, many citizens simply have an aversion to - Paweł Kukiz said on RMF FM. 

- I perceived it as a desire to drag us into Andrzej Duda's campaign, and I will not be dragged into it. No, [Andrzej Duda] did not call. He had no contact with me, the last time we saw each other was at the pre-election debate, and it seems to me that after 5 years, saying 3 days before the election, 'Let's meet and talk after the election,' is solely an attempt to lure my voters, Konfederacja's voters, but also, because it was a subliminal message for Szymon Hołownia's voters who might soon be our voters again in parliament, because we know how fragile new political entities sometimes are, and it's a matter of trying to attract those who can decide the election outcome. It's not even so much a wink at us as politicians as it is to the voters - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- Indeed, for a very long time now, we have been stuck in such a division between the government and the opposition, a very sharp, very strong one. The opposition has built itself on this totality, a total opposition in relation to the government, and I think that the president's proposal offers a chance to break this detrimental model, meaning it offers a chance for at least some of the opposition, those who are ideologically close to PiS, to participate in governing Poland - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

- These are two groups [PSL and Confederation], where one can say there are certain points of contact with the vision for Poland held by the President and his political backing, PiS. It is difficult, indeed, to talk about seeking some kind of common ground with Civic Platform (PO), whose stance is 'no means no', that's their vision. They question everything that has been done in recent years and question everything that the President presents - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

- I have a far-reaching political imagination, so I can imagine such cooperation in parliament. At the moment, it is the President, of course, who defines the scope of this cooperation; the President proposed a conversation and, as I understand it, proposed joint support or building political projects also after the elections - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

- This is currently a far-reaching expectation. Of course, coalitions have the characteristic of also foreseeing participation in governance. We are already a coalition today, with Solidarna Polska and the Prime Minister's party, Porozumienie, however, I can imagine, of course, broadening the government's political base, but this would indeed require far-reaching political talks at this moment - he continued. 

„The situation in Poland is exceptional because we hear that there will be a very difficult economic crisis. Unfortunately, the government is completely unprepared for it. We hear that Morawiecki's deficit is growing. We have also received very disturbing messages from the European Commission, which predicts that Polish GDP will decrease by 5%. This is an enormous sum, amounting to hundreds of billions of zlotys” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's candidate for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, at a press conference.

„The Council of Ministers hasn't met since June 16th. I don't understand what's happening. Is the government on vacation right now? Is it running an election campaign with public funds? It looks like there's no captain on the bridge during a storm. I appeal to those in power to, instead of running an election campaign with taxpayer money, because we constantly see the Prime Minister traveling across the country and handing out bouncing checks, attacking the opposition candidate, and the same is done by ministers instead of working. I appeal for the government to focus on work in these difficult times” - he added.

"This appeal [from PAD - President Andrzej Duda] is one hundred percent unbelievable. It's astonishing that after five years of hibernation, the President has awakened and now wants to cooperate with other parties, that at this moment he is attempting to make a false move towards other groups three days before the election. Mr. President, you had five years to try and rebuild the community, to talk with other political parties. We all know that none of your initiatives will be effective until Jarosław Kaczyński blesses them. You have proposed things many times, and your boss would then backtrack and make completely different decisions. It's a shame you didn't work for those five years. I lament that at this moment you are only and exclusively trying to feign actions and give the impression that you have the support of voters who do not want to support you" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for the presidency and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, at a press conference.

- I am not for compulsory vaccination. We are not Hitler. They used to vaccinate then. I am for voluntary vaccination - stated Piotr Liroy-Marzec in Onet Rano.

- I am for the world moving forward. But when someone says 'get vaccinated' because it's for the good of the majority, that's what Hitler said. I believe one should get vaccinated, but not be forced. I talk with my doctor colleagues; a colleague showed me where his last vaccines were placed – they were in the bin. I am not for compulsory vaccination of anyone. - For me, the PSL should have ceased to exist long ago. They sold all their ideals and the people who represented them. This is a chapter that should have been closed a long time ago - says Piotr Liroy-Marzec in Onet Rano.

- At the very beginning, Kukiz, along with us, was an advocate that one of the most important things was to bury the PSL, because they destroyed all the regions where we were - he continued.

In this unobtrusive, even slightly poetic way, in which the campaign's previous productions have been maintained, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign encourages participation in Sunday's elections in the latest spot, which 300POLITYKA is the first to publish. The candidate's campaign team also plans to launch a surprising application, which they will release before the elections.

„I don't want to judge whether this is the right or wrong way of functioning. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with it. Anyone who claims they behaved differently during election campaigns is simply a hypocrite or wants to mislead listeners and viewers, because it has always been, is, and, I believe, will always be in politics that politicians behave somewhat differently during an election campaign. - I also have very good news for you today, that our public finances are in very good condition, despite this crisis. This is precisely why we can today offer local governments PLN 6 billion + competitive funds for the implementation of many infrastructural and investment projects in all the areas I mentioned - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

- You, local government officials, I think you understand well the value of cooperation. Not arguments, not political chaos, not a political crisis like in Spain, in Italy. Look at these examples. See how one can fall ill from a political crisis. Literally. Because after all, many more citizens fell ill with coronavirus there than here, and deaths, in some countries, were 20 times more, in some even 30 times more per million inhabitants than in Poland. Therefore, a political crisis resulting from a stalemate, chaos, arguments, and infighting at the top can cost lives and health, it can cost a lack of cooperation in key areas of the economy - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

The judiciary in Poland must be reformed to completion. So that courts finally become just, and judges know why they are ruling. And they are ruling in the name of the Republic of Poland, that this is also their responsibility for exercising state power – said President Andrzej Duda in Olkusz.

- I want a truly free Poland. That is why yesterday I appealed to the entire political community that holds values in its heart, to all those who desire such a Poland, based on values, but developing modernly and dynamically, and there are very many such people in Poland, to create a grand coalition for Polish affairs, based on our Polish values and their defense. I believe that politicians from various groups today, as well as those who declare themselves as politicians not affiliated with any group, will join this coalition, this service for Polish affairs and for Poles. Many local government politicians always make such declarations - said President Andrzej Duda in Olkusz.

- I think people in Poland simply expect us to form such a coalition, transcending all divisions, forgetting about various minor differences. After all, this is the dream of many people who voted for the PSL, it is the dream of many people who voted for Kukiz’15, for Paweł Kukiz's movement, it is the dream of many people who voted for Confederation - he added.

Nobody should stay at home because no elections are announced for the coming years. If we want change, balance, a president who will be independent, who will lean over the problems of everyone, then we will either do it now, or it will be very difficult to do it in the coming years. Perhaps it will be impossible. This is the last moment, the last two days for mobilization” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for President and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Raciąż.

"Rafał Trzaskowski changes like a chameleon. Depending on whom he talks to and what campaign he participates in, he expresses views completely contrary to what he said a few months earlier," said the spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's campaign team, PiS MEP Adam Bielan. 

During a press conference, Andrzej Duda's campaign team presented a spot juxtaposing Trzaskowski's statements from his current election campaign and the past, concerning topics such as civil partnerships, fighting the ecological disaster, adopting the euro, and being a party activist.

"Rafał Trzaskowski hides his views, he changes them, but sometimes this well-oiled campaign machine, whose main goal is not to reveal what Rafał Trzaskowski thinks, and not without reason his program appeared the day before the election silence, gets jammed, and involuntarily, Trzaskowski's political friends reveal his true plans," added PiS Deputy Spokesperson Radosław Fogiel, referencing Janina Ochojska's tweet from yesterday, in which she listed "because he will introduce the LGBT charter throughout the country" among the reasons she would vote for Trzaskowski.

"Evidently, Ms. Janina Ochojska is better informed than most voters in Poland. Better informed than the candidate himself would like," Fogiel added.

"We are asking Rafał Trzaskowski whether he intends to introduce the LGBT charter throughout the country. The LGBT charter is not only the introduction, through the back door, without parental consent, of classes on so-called sex education, classes conducted by extremely left-wing organizations, but it also imposes a series of obligations on entrepreneurs. Point 5 of this declaration speaks of applying anti-discrimination clauses in contracts with the city's contractors. These types of regulations will apply throughout Poland if Rafał Trzaskowski wins. That is what Janina Ochojska claims," said Bielan. 

Just dozens of hours before the election silence, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team has released one of the final spots of this campaign, in which the candidate speaks about his dream Poland. The first part of the spot refers to a previous one, where Trzaskowski declared his values credo.

"My dream?" Rafał Trzaskowski asks himself. "A community of people who love freedom. A community full of love and respect. A community free from hatred and contempt. Feel how from this great community a new Republic emerges. A Republic that draws strength from wisdom and truth. What is its name? You know well. Poland".

The spot primarily features supporters gathered at Trzaskowski's rallies, with numerous white-red and EU flags, extending their hands in a sign of victory. It also strives to reflect a cross-section of people the candidate greeted at these meetings.

"A just, powerful, self-governing, civil, and free Poland", which Trzaskowski speaks of in the second part, is visualized, among other things, with Warsaw's office buildings. The spot concludes with aerial shots from Trzaskowski's rallies.

"New solidarity, new community. Strong, proud, united, free. Our dream - our Poland" - Trzaskowski concludes, attempting to mobilize voters to participate in Sunday's vote by referencing the slogan, repeated many times during the campaign, about rebuilding community.

"You've known me for 20 years. I am your representative in the Mazovian Voivodeship Sejmik. For 19 years, I have been the Marshal of this voivodeship. There are moments in the life of our community that are decisive, and such a moment will occur next Sunday. Rafał Trzaskowski is a local government official, he is one of us, he is a man who will guarantee the unity of the Mazovian Voivodeship, which is still under threat, because those in power constantly want to break up this voivodeship, and this means that the areas outside the metropolis will have enormous financial problems" - said Marshal Adam Struzik in Ciechanów.

“[The President] is proposing a coalition. He wants to talk with other political parties three days before the election. For five years, he made no gesture towards those who think differently. Today he woke up and wants to cooperate. I tell you one thing: we will rebuild the community and we will all cooperate” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Ciechanów.

“President Andrzej Duda and Jarosław Kaczyński, who is reportedly reappearing in the public sphere today, just look at their campaign plan. They don’t want to talk. They don’t want to debate. They are only consulting with the head of television on how to manipulate reality, how to orchestrate another provocation for us, how to hit us over the head with microphones, instead of focusing on talking to people. That is what differentiates us” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for the Civic Coalition for president and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Ciechanów.

- Rafał Trzaskowski is already starting to make plans regarding the convening of the Council of Ministers after the elections. Rafał Trzaskowski, according to media speculation, has already begun furnishing his chancellery. According to media reports, Sławomir Nitras is to become the head of Rafał Trzaskowski's Presidential Chancellery. - This is indeed a terrifying vision, a scenario that will mean war for the next 3.5 years, until the next parliamentary elections, a bloody political war between the Presidential Palace and the government. This is never a good scenario for Poland, but especially at a time when we must deal with the consequences of the coronavirus, when Poland is emerging from the crisis. Today, we know that this exit from the crisis is proceeding very smoothly according to European Commission simulations; the economic downturn, GDP in Poland is projected to be the smallest in the entire EU, and next year a very rapid recovery awaits us. However, for this to happen, good, harmonious cooperation is needed between the president, his support base, and the government. Will Sławomir Nitras, as the head of the Presidential Chancellery, ensure such cooperation? It is worth all Poles asking themselves this question. It is worth remembering this scenario on July 12th, next Sunday, when they cast their vote not only for Rafał Trzaskowski but also for his close collaborators, even friends, as Rafał Trzaskowski calls them, like MP Nitras - he continued.

There are many different concerns that we will be implementing certain foreign claims stemming from laws adopted even in allied states, but I want to state clearly, as a lawyer and as a politician, ladies and gentlemen, no legislation adopted in foreign countries is binding here. And as long as I am the President of the Republic of Poland, it will not be binding. I will simply not agree to it. Just as I will not agree to the introduction of constructs into Polish law that privilege certain ethnic groups over other ethnic groups and in an unjustified way grant them additional rights or benefits. This is contrary to the Polish constitution, I will never agree to it – said President Andrzej Duda in Wieliczka.

- When choosing a president, one must remember that it must be a man of peace, a man of culture, who will understand what is most valuable for every person. That mutual kindness of citizens, a smile, but also the ability to help the weaker ones. I will never forgive President Duda for the fact that in the Sejm I had to watch, they did not let me in when I went to those children, I am for disabled children. But I saw what happened, which is unacceptable to me, and I will talk about it until I die. Mothers had their hands twisted for striking so that their children would have money for rehabilitation - she notes.

- With all my heart and all my mental abilities, I ask all Poles, regardless of their views, to go to the polls and, when choosing, to think that a divided country, citizens hating each other, unwilling to listen to the other side, denying human rights to those who are different from them, ends badly, because for a nation to be safe, it must be whole - she concludes.

„Those who are currently pushing for power in the presidential elections, although it's known that it's not solely about them, are people who question everything that is our tradition. Admittedly, in the course of election campaigns, they have a habit of trying to convince us otherwise, very often contradicting what they said very recently, but these facts are undeniable if one looks at their statements and practices. „In essence, [our political opponents] are ready to treat Poland as an annex to Germany. The airport in Berlin instead of in Poland is a good example of this, one could say – it shows what this is all about in an illuminating light. Here lies the fundamental difference. They do not want to be a great European nation because they know that if Poland were a great European nation, this ‘elite’ would have nothing to say. This is very important. I hope that this ruling will be made one day, perhaps not so distant. We have no influence whatsoever on this – contrary to the narrative that the Tribunal is at our disposal – that such a ruling will be issued” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

The same applies to TVN. I have no doubts about where TVN came from. If the gentleman who called thinks that nationalization of TVN can be carried out for this reason, he is mistaken. It cannot be done – that's the first thing – and secondly, we are not interested. We do not want to control the media. We just don't want decisions to be made outside Poland, such as 'we support this presidential candidate, and we simply destroy the one who, from our point of view, is worse or bad, using the most shameful methods” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

- There are also flu vaccinations. I'll say it openly, I have never been vaccinated against the flu. My colleagues got vaccinated, with varying results. Some tolerated it very well and indeed didn't get sick afterwards, and even when they did get sick, they had very mild cases. But personally, I have never been vaccinated against the flu and I don't intend to get vaccinated. I believe that if I get sick, I'll simply be sick. As for coronavirus, it's a type of flu to me, at least that's how I understand it, just more dangerous, more severe, with symptoms often stronger than regular flu. And I'll say this, I would be rather very skeptical about introducing mandatory coronavirus vaccinations. I would say: no. If someone wants to, please, let them get vaccinated - the President added.

I am attacked by media that are either foreign or that pretend to be Polish but simply have foreign origins or foreign capital. And this also shows what the game is about in this campaign, right. Because if foreign media attacks me, it means their foreign patrons are unhappy with the policies I am pursuing. If they are unhappy, it means the interests of their countries, their interests, are not being realized as they would wish. This is because Polish interests are being realized, quite simply. Finally, it's happening that the realization of Polish interests takes precedence over foreign interests - stated President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".
