Duda:

This is a serious political offer from me. We should unite in addressing economic and human issues that will allow for a dignified life.

- This is a serious political offer from me [a coalition for Polish affairs], because I believe that Poland needs it at this moment, especially in this difficult situation, when all of Europe is still immersed in the coronavirus pandemic, when many EU countries are facing a tragic economic situation, even experiencing GDP declines of several percent. We are in a better situation, but this only shows that we should unite in addressing these economic and human issues that will allow for a dignified life. This is the most important matter right now, and for us it is a great task on the one hand, but on the other hand, in my feeling, also a historic opportunity. Huge amounts of money are also being prepared in the EU for investment purposes. This must be done calmly and harmoniously, and that is precisely why a coalition for Polish affairs is needed - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Marcin Fijołek on Polsat News.

- This is something everyone understands. I think there is no doubt here in United Right that such a move, which will bring more political forces together around this pro-state, pro-social action, is very much needed for Poland, and I think people are also waiting for these actions to repair the economy and improve the quality of life in a calm, stable, and consistent manner - PAD continued.

07:33

Fogiel:

Considering the first-round result, mobilization was quite satisfactory. But now on Sunday, in the second round, it must be even greater.
Considering the first-round result, this mobilization was quite satisfactory; we should also take this opportunity to heartily thank our voters. But now on Sunday, in the second round, it must be even greater. We must decisively and en masse go to the polling stations and cast our vote for President Andrzej Duda - said Radosław Fogiel in an interview with Stanisław Janecki on Polskie Radio 24.

07:41

Fogiel Asked if PAD's Coalition Announcement is a Proposal to Change Local Government Configurations: 'It's Too Early to Talk About Any Changes, and That's Not What the President's Speech Yesterday Was About'

- It's too early to talk about any changes, and that's not what the President's speech yesterday was about. Naturally, in such situations, commentators and politicians always try to outline various scenarios, but the President's address was a sincere outstretched hand to circles that are currently separate but essentially have a lot in common - said Radosław Fogiel on Polskie Radio 24.

08:03

In the Local Government Family – 'I think, like in any family, we try to support and encourage each other.' Local government officials from Lower Silesia invite to Friday's meeting with Trzaskowski

- Let's not be passive. In a special year, the 30th anniversary of Polish local government, we are choosing a man who understands local government, which means he understands all of us. I am convinced that Rafał Trzaskowski will be a good president - says Jacek Sutryk in a recording published on Facebook, in which local government officials from Lower Silesia, mayors of several dozen cities, encourage voting for the Civic Platform candidate.

According to our sources, the mayor of Wrocław is gathering the entire local government team from Lower Silesia and organizing a meeting with Rafał Trzaskowski in Świdnica on Friday. The intention is for it to be a "show of force," and several dozen local government officials have confirmed their participation.

- We are a local government family. We are united by values, by community. We are united by our commitment to democracy, freedom, and mutual respect. In the local government family – I think, like in any family, we try to support and encourage each other. Especially in these important moments. That is why we speak with one voice – on Sunday, July 12, we will cast our vote for Rafał Trzaskowski. Because he is one of us. Because he understands local government, understands residents and their problems. Because he will solve these problems together, based on dialogue - it was written on Facebook.

08:08

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

I Will Not Resign. I Will Undergo Verification Soon, at the Congress. Either at the End of This Year or the Beginning of Next

- I will not resign. I received such a vote of no confidence from the party's board, what we call the Supreme Executive Committee here, immediately after the elections. I will undergo verification soon, at the congress. Either at the end of this year or the beginning of next, because the coronavirus delayed our internal campaign. I will run for president again – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:15

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

Most of my voters, as poll and political science analyses show, will likely vote for Trzaskowski. I am also leaning in that direction.

- My voters have their own minds; if they had the courage to vote for me, nearly half a million people in the first round, in such a polarized reality, they know what choice to make. I stand on the side of values, democracy, and a state based on constitutional principles. If anything is needed today, it is principles in this approach, and most of my voters, as poll and political science analyses also show, whatever we call them, will likely vote for Rafał Trzaskowski. I am also leaning in that direction because I have also recently heard about slogans like tax-free retirement, voluntary social security contributions, a referendum day, and, I think, an open Chancellery of the President. I believe my election program was accepted almost 90%, and even before the first round, I heard slogans in Rafał Trzaskowski's program that were taken directly from my statements, political rallies, and conventions. It's good that he confirmed this later - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:15

Kukiz on the "Coalition of Polish Affairs": I Received No Invitation, Kosiniak-Kamysz and PSL, Confederation Did

- I didn't receive any invitation, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and PSL, Confederation received the invitation. I am not a member of PSL, nor do I intend to join PSL. I am a representative of the Kukiz’15 movement and I have six MPs in the Sejm - said Paweł Kukiz in a conversation with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM's "Morning Interview".

08:22

Błaszczak:

A Choice Between Duda's Second Term and Poland's Development, or Trzaskowski's 'Demoralizing Ideology' and Stagnation

This is the fundamental issue. Either Andrzej Duda, a second term, Poland's development, maintaining achievements, the thirteenth pension, 500+, retirement age of 60/65, or Rafał Trzaskowski, the introduction of a very bad ideology, demoralizing children, adoption of children by homosexual couples. This is also undoubtedly a consequence of this ideology. The halting of our country's development, the loss of five years of achievements” – said Minister Mariusz Błaszczak in an interview with Jedynka radio.

08:28

Kukiz on Kosiniak-Kamysz's Campaign: He Was Probably the Hardest Working Candidate, But, First Flaw, Not Under the Polish Coalition Banner, But Under the PSL Logo

- To put it mildly, the PSL does not evoke positive associations among voters. Unfortunately, these messages that he was a PSL candidate largely caused this result. He worked very hard, I saw it. He was probably the hardest working candidate, but, first flaw, not under the Polish Coalition banner, but under the PSL logo, which, as I said, many citizens simply have an aversion to - Paweł Kukiz said on RMF FM.

08:30

Kosiniak-Kamysz on the "Coalition of Polish Affairs": After 5 Years, Saying 3 Days Before the Election, 'Let's Meet and Talk After the Election,' Is Solely an Attempt to Lure Voters

- I perceived it as a desire to drag us into Andrzej Duda's campaign, and I will not be dragged into it. No, [Andrzej Duda] did not call. He had no contact with me, the last time we saw each other was at the pre-election debate, and it seems to me that after 5 years, saying 3 days before the election, 'Let's meet and talk after the election,' is solely an attempt to lure my voters, Konfederacja's voters, but also, because it was a subliminal message for Szymon Hołownia's voters who might soon be our voters again in parliament, because we know how fragile new political entities sometimes are, and it's a matter of trying to attract those who can decide the election outcome. It's not even so much a wink at us as politicians as it is to the voters - stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

09:14

Sasin:

The President's Proposal Offers a Chance for at Least Some of the Opposition, Those Ideologically Close to PiS, to Participate in Governing Poland

- Indeed, for a very long time now, we have been stuck in such a division between the government and the opposition, a very sharp, very strong one. The opposition has built itself on this totality, a total opposition in relation to the government, and I think that the president's proposal offers a chance to break this detrimental model, meaning it offers a chance for at least some of the opposition, those who are ideologically close to PiS, to participate in governing Poland - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

09:15

Sasin:

Two Groups Have Certain Points of Contact with the President's Vision for Poland and His Political Backing

- These are two groups [PSL and Confederation], where one can say there are certain points of contact with the vision for Poland held by the President and his political backing, PiS. It is difficult, indeed, to talk about seeking some kind of common ground with Civic Platform (PO), whose stance is 'no means no', that's their vision. They question everything that has been done in recent years and question everything that the President presents - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

09:15

Sasin:

I Can Imagine Broadening the Government's Political Base, But It Would Require Far-Reaching Political Talks

- I have a far-reaching political imagination, so I can imagine such cooperation in parliament. At the moment, it is the President, of course, who defines the scope of this cooperation; the President proposed a conversation and, as I understand it, proposed joint support or building political projects also after the elections - stated Jacek Sasin on Polsat News.

- This is currently a far-reaching expectation. Of course, coalitions have the characteristic of also foreseeing participation in governance. We are already a coalition today, with Solidarna Polska and the Prime Minister's party, Porozumienie, however, I can imagine, of course, broadening the government's political base, but this would indeed require far-reaching political talks at this moment - he continued.

09:27

Trzaskowski:

The Council of Ministers Hasn't Met Since June 16th. I Don't Understand What's Happening. Is the Government on Vacation? Is it Running an Election Campaign with Public Funds?

The situation in Poland is exceptional because we hear that there will be a very difficult economic crisis. Unfortunately, the government is completely unprepared for it. We hear that Morawiecki's deficit is growing. We have also received very disturbing messages from the European Commission, which predicts that Polish GDP will decrease by 5%. This is an enormous sum, amounting to hundreds of billions of zlotys” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's candidate for president and the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, at a press conference.

The Council of Ministers hasn't met since June 16th. I don't understand what's happening. Is the government on vacation right now? Is it running an election campaign with public funds? It looks like there's no captain on the bridge during a storm. I appeal to those in power to, instead of running an election campaign with taxpayer money, because we constantly see the Prime Minister traveling across the country and handing out bouncing checks, attacking the opposition candidate, and the same is done by ministers instead of working. I appeal for the government to focus on work in these difficult times” - he added.

09:38

Trzaskowski:

It's Astonishing That After Five Years of Hibernation, the President Has Awakened and Now Wants to Cooperate with Other Parties, Making a False Move Three Days Before the Election
"This appeal [from PAD - President Andrzej Duda] is one hundred percent unbelievable. It's astonishing that after five years of hibernation, the President has awakened and now wants to cooperate with other parties, that at this moment he is attempting to make a false move towards other groups three days before the election. Mr. President, you had five years to try and rebuild the community, to talk with other political parties. We all know that none of your initiatives will be effective until Jarosław Kaczyński blesses them. You have proposed things many times, and your boss would then backtrack and make completely different decisions. It's a shame you didn't work for those five years. I lament that at this moment you are only and exclusively trying to feign actions and give the impression that you have the support of voters who do not want to support you" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for the presidency and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, at a press conference.

09:57

Bielan:

The Penultimate Day of the Campaign. PAD Starts at a Mine at 5:30 AM. RT Starts with... a Press Conference in Warsaw at 9:00 AM and Looks Like He's Already Thinking About Sick Leave. The Competition's Campaign Headquarters Don't Have It Easy. I Hon

Liroy-Marzec:

When someone says 'get vaccinated' for the good of the majority, that's what Hitler said. I believe in vaccination, but not coercion.

- I am not for compulsory vaccination. We are not Hitler. They used to vaccinate then. I am for voluntary vaccination - stated Piotr Liroy-Marzec in Onet Rano.

- I am for the world moving forward. But when someone says 'get vaccinated' because it's for the good of the majority, that's what Hitler said. I believe one should get vaccinated, but not be forced. I talk with my doctor colleagues; a colleague showed me where his last vaccines were placed – they were in the bin. I am not for compulsory vaccination of anyone. In this case, democracy does not exist when people are forced to vaccinate - he continued.

10:25

Liroy-Marzec:

What Kukiz did by giving the PSL a second life is a strange fairy tale – you don't know whether to laugh or cry. He doesn't know what he's doing in politics.

- For me, the PSL should have ceased to exist long ago. They sold all their ideals and the people who represented them. This is a chapter that should have been closed a long time ago - says Piotr Liroy-Marzec in Onet Rano.

- At the very beginning, Kukiz, along with us, was an advocate that one of the most important things was to bury the PSL, because they destroyed all the regions where we were - he continued.

- What Kukiz did by giving them a second life is a strange fairy tale – you don't know whether to laugh or cry - stated the former MP. - Paweł Kukiz doesn't know what he's doing in politics - he added.

10:28

Liroy-Marzec:

Bosak is a smart guy. Kulesza had plans, but Bosak pulled him in with a yawn

- I don't like national socialism, I'm not a fan of PiS. I said when Konfederacja started to close itself off that this term would be Bosak's Konfederacja. He's a smart guy. I see he has a lot to say. Winnicki and Bosak are a good duo. This is his term. He knows how to seize the moment. He has become a natural leader. Kulesza had plans, but Bosak pulled him in with a yawn - stated Piotr Liroy-Marzec on Onet Rano.

Voting Crosses Are Everywhere, Even in Laid Cutlery and Games. To Pezet's Music, Trzaskowski's Campaign Lyrically Encourages Voting

To the sounds of Pezet, it turns out that voting crosses are all around us. On road signs, in the X book of Pan Tadeusz, when closing advertisements on portals, on cleaning supplies, on maps for children on treasure hunts, in computer games, on a foldable fishing stool, in tile arrangements. Even laid cutlery resembles a voting cross.

In this unobtrusive, even slightly poetic way, in which the campaign's previous productions have been maintained, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign encourages participation in Sunday's elections in the latest spot, which 300POLITYKA is the first to publish. The candidate's campaign team also plans to launch a surprising application, which they will release before the elections.

10:58

Dworczyk:

It's Always Been This Way in Politics, and It Always Will Be: Politicians Behave Differently During Election Campaigns. This Behavior Has No Negative Impact on the Council of Ministers.

I don't want to judge whether this is the right or wrong way of functioning. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with it. Anyone who claims they behaved differently during election campaigns is simply a hypocrite or wants to mislead listeners and viewers, because it has always been, is, and, I believe, will always be in politics that politicians behave somewhat differently during an election campaign. It would be bad if this had a negative impact on the work of the government, but I repeat, this way of functioning does not have a negative impact on the work of the Council of Ministers” – said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus's “Sedno Sprawy”.

11:40

PM:

Our Public Finances Are in Very Good Condition Despite the Crisis

- I also have very good news for you today, that our public finances are in very good condition, despite this crisis. This is precisely why we can today offer local governments PLN 6 billion + competitive funds for the implementation of many infrastructural and investment projects in all the areas I mentioned - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

11:52

Morawiecki:

Political Crisis from Stalemate, Chaos, and Infighting Could Cost Lives and Impede Economic Cooperation

- You, local government officials, I think you understand well the value of cooperation. Not arguments, not political chaos, not a political crisis like in Spain, in Italy. Look at these examples. See how one can fall ill from a political crisis. Literally. Because after all, many more citizens fell ill with coronavirus there than here, and deaths, in some countries, were 20 times more, in some even 30 times more per million inhabitants than in Poland. Therefore, a political crisis resulting from a stalemate, chaos, arguments, and infighting at the top can cost lives and health, it can cost a lack of cooperation in key areas of the economy - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.

President Duda: The Judiciary Must Be Reformed to Completion in Poland
The judiciary in Poland must be reformed to completion. So that courts finally become just, and judges know why they are ruling. And they are ruling in the name of the Republic of Poland, that this is also their responsibility for exercising state power – said President Andrzej Duda in Olkusz.

President Duda Calls for a "Grand Coalition for Polish Affairs," Inviting Independents and Cross-Party Support

- I want a truly free Poland. That is why yesterday I appealed to the entire political community that holds values in its heart, to all those who desire such a Poland, based on values, but developing modernly and dynamically, and there are very many such people in Poland, to create a grand coalition for Polish affairs, based on our Polish values and their defense. I believe that politicians from various groups today, as well as those who declare themselves as politicians not affiliated with any group, will join this coalition, this service for Polish affairs and for Poles. Many local government politicians always make such declarations - said President Andrzej Duda in Olkusz.

- I think people in Poland simply expect us to form such a coalition, transcending all divisions, forgetting about various minor differences. After all, this is the dream of many people who voted for the PSL, it is the dream of many people who voted for Kukiz’15, for Paweł Kukiz's movement, it is the dream of many people who voted for Confederation - he added.

12:25

Trzaskowski:

No Elections Announced for Years to Come. If We Want Change, Balance, a President Who Will Be Independent, We Must Do It Now, or It Will Be Very Difficult in the Coming Years
Nobody should stay at home because no elections are announced for the coming years. If we want change, balance, a president who will be independent, who will lean over the problems of everyone, then we will either do it now, or it will be very difficult to do it in the coming years. Perhaps it will be impossible. This is the last moment, the last two days for mobilization” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate of Civic Coalition for President and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Raciąż.

Fogiel and Bielan Call on Trzaskowski to Declare Stance on Nationwide LGBT Charter Following Ochojska's Tweet

"Rafał Trzaskowski changes like a chameleon. Depending on whom he talks to and what campaign he participates in, he expresses views completely contrary to what he said a few months earlier," said the spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's campaign team, PiS MEP Adam Bielan.

During a press conference, Andrzej Duda's campaign team presented a spot juxtaposing Trzaskowski's statements from his current election campaign and the past, concerning topics such as civil partnerships, fighting the ecological disaster, adopting the euro, and being a party activist.

"Rafał Trzaskowski hides his views, he changes them, but sometimes this well-oiled campaign machine, whose main goal is not to reveal what Rafał Trzaskowski thinks, and not without reason his program appeared the day before the election silence, gets jammed, and involuntarily, Trzaskowski's political friends reveal his true plans," added PiS Deputy Spokesperson Radosław Fogiel, referencing Janina Ochojska's tweet from yesterday, in which she listed "because he will introduce the LGBT charter throughout the country" among the reasons she would vote for Trzaskowski.

"Evidently, Ms. Janina Ochojska is better informed than most voters in Poland. Better informed than the candidate himself would like," Fogiel added.

"We are asking Rafał Trzaskowski whether he intends to introduce the LGBT charter throughout the country. The LGBT charter is not only the introduction, through the back door, without parental consent, of classes on so-called sex education, classes conducted by extremely left-wing organizations, but it also imposes a series of obligations on entrepreneurs. Point 5 of this declaration speaks of applying anti-discrimination clauses in contracts with the city's contractors. These types of regulations will apply throughout Poland if Rafał Trzaskowski wins. That is what Janina Ochojska claims," said Bielan.

Trzaskowski in Latest Spot Describes His Dream Poland and Mobilizes Voters with Message of Community:

Just, Powerful, Self-Governing, Civil, and Free

Just dozens of hours before the election silence, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team has released one of the final spots of this campaign, in which the candidate speaks about his dream Poland. The first part of the spot refers to a previous one, where Trzaskowski declared his values credo.

"My dream?" Rafał Trzaskowski asks himself. "A community of people who love freedom. A community full of love and respect. A community free from hatred and contempt. Feel how from this great community a new Republic emerges. A Republic that draws strength from wisdom and truth. What is its name? You know well. Poland".

The spot primarily features supporters gathered at Trzaskowski's rallies, with numerous white-red and EU flags, extending their hands in a sign of victory. It also strives to reflect a cross-section of people the candidate greeted at these meetings.

"A just, powerful, self-governing, civil, and free Poland", which Trzaskowski speaks of in the second part, is visualized, among other things, with Warsaw's office buildings. The spot concludes with aerial shots from Trzaskowski's rallies.

"New solidarity, new community. Strong, proud, united, free. Our dream - our Poland" - Trzaskowski concludes, attempting to mobilize voters to participate in Sunday's vote by referencing the slogan, repeated many times during the campaign, about rebuilding community.

Struzik at a Rally in Ciechanów Supports Trzaskowski: "He's a local government official who will guarantee the unity of the Mazovian Voivodeship, which is still under threat"

"You've known me for 20 years. I am your representative in the Mazovian Voivodeship Sejmik. For 19 years, I have been the Marshal of this voivodeship. There are moments in the life of our community that are decisive, and such a moment will occur next Sunday. Rafał Trzaskowski is a local government official, he is one of us, he is a man who will guarantee the unity of the Mazovian Voivodeship, which is still under threat, because those in power constantly want to break up this voivodeship, and this means that the areas outside the metropolis will have enormous financial problems" - said Marshal Adam Struzik in Ciechanów.

14:31

Trzaskowski:

For Five Years, the President Made No Gesture Towards Those Who Think Differently. Today He Woke Up and Wants to Cooperate

[The President] is proposing a coalition. He wants to talk with other political parties three days before the election. For five years, he made no gesture towards those who think differently. Today he woke up and wants to cooperate. I tell you one thing: we will rebuild the community and we will all cooperate” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Ciechanów.

14:38

Trzaskowski:

See Their Campaign Plan. They Don't Want Debates. They're Only Consulting with the Head of Television on How to Manipulate Reality, Orchestrate Another Provocation, and Hit Us Over the Head with Microphones
“President Andrzej Duda and Jarosław Kaczyński, who is reportedly reappearing in the public sphere today, just look at their campaign plan. They don’t want to talk. They don’t want to debate. They are only consulting with the head of television on how to manipulate reality, how to orchestrate another provocation for us, how to hit us over the head with microphones, instead of focusing on talking to people. That is what differentiates us” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for the Civic Coalition for president and Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in Ciechanów.

Good, Harmonious Cooperation Needed Between President, His Support, and Government. Will Nitras as Head of the Presidential Chancellery Ensure Such Cooperation? All Poles Should Ask Themselves This Question

- Rafał Trzaskowski is already starting to make plans regarding the convening of the Council of Ministers after the elections. Rafał Trzaskowski, according to media speculation, has already begun furnishing his chancellery. According to media reports, Sławomir Nitras is to become the head of Rafał Trzaskowski's Presidential Chancellery. Here is a short video report about Mr. Nitras - said Adam Bielan at a press briefing.

- This is indeed a terrifying vision, a scenario that will mean war for the next 3.5 years, until the next parliamentary elections, a bloody political war between the Presidential Palace and the government. This is never a good scenario for Poland, but especially at a time when we must deal with the consequences of the coronavirus, when Poland is emerging from the crisis. Today, we know that this exit from the crisis is proceeding very smoothly according to European Commission simulations; the economic downturn, GDP in Poland is projected to be the smallest in the entire EU, and next year a very rapid recovery awaits us. However, for this to happen, good, harmonious cooperation is needed between the president, his support base, and the government. Will Sławomir Nitras, as the head of the Presidential Chancellery, ensure such cooperation? It is worth all Poles asking themselves this question. It is worth remembering this scenario on July 12th, next Sunday, when they cast their vote not only for Rafał Trzaskowski but also for his close collaborators, even friends, as Rafał Trzaskowski calls them, like MP Nitras - he continued.

Duda:

No Foreign Legislation Will Apply in Poland as Long as I'm President
There are many different concerns that we will be implementing certain foreign claims stemming from laws adopted even in allied states, but I want to state clearly, as a lawyer and as a politician, ladies and gentlemen, no legislation adopted in foreign countries is binding here. And as long as I am the President of the Republic of Poland, it will not be binding. I will simply not agree to it. Just as I will not agree to the introduction of constructs into Polish law that privilege certain ethnic groups over other ethnic groups and in an unjustified way grant them additional rights or benefits. This is contrary to the Polish constitution, I will never agree to it – said President Andrzej Duda in Wieliczka.

Traczyk-Stawska in Trzaskowski's Campaign Clip: 'I am very tired and weak, but I cannot yield to the situation that has arisen, because everything we did in the Uprising is starting to be wasted.'

- Frankly, I am very tired and very weak, but I cannot yield to the situation that has arisen, because everything we did in the Uprising is starting to be wasted. We cannot communicate with each other, we despise each other, we do not want to be a nation that thinks about its future, and the future is in children. The greatest treasure of any nation is children - says Wanda Traczyk-Stawska in a new clip from Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign staff.

- God, Honor, Fatherland. Where is God if you kick, beat, and humiliate another, weaker than yourself? Where? Is this person a Christian? Who is he? First of all, for me, the most important thing is that every human being deserves respect. Everyone. Why is the Our Father the most beautiful prayer? Each of us, if we are Christians, says this prayer. And in it, we say: and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Because this is what every person should remember. If you cannot forgive, you yourself will not be happy, because you will constantly have anger and rage and the need for revenge within you - continues the participant of the Warsaw Uprising.

- When choosing a president, one must remember that it must be a man of peace, a man of culture, who will understand what is most valuable for every person. That mutual kindness of citizens, a smile, but also the ability to help the weaker ones. I will never forgive President Duda for the fact that in the Sejm I had to watch, they did not let me in when I went to those children, I am for disabled children. But I saw what happened, which is unacceptable to me, and I will talk about it until I die. Mothers had their hands twisted for striking so that their children would have money for rehabilitation - she notes.

- With all my heart and all my mental abilities, I ask all Poles, regardless of their views, to go to the polls and, when choosing, to think that a divided country, citizens hating each other, unwilling to listen to the other side, denying human rights to those who are different from them, ends badly, because for a nation to be safe, it must be whole - she concludes.

Kaczyński:

Those Pushing for Power in Presidential Elections, Though It's Known It's Not Just About Them, Are People Who Question Our Entire Tradition

Those who are currently pushing for power in the presidential elections, although it's known that it's not solely about them, are people who question everything that is our tradition. Admittedly, in the course of election campaigns, they have a habit of trying to convince us otherwise, very often contradicting what they said very recently, but these facts are undeniable if one looks at their statements and practices. When it comes to the current presidential candidate, Mr. Trzaskowski, his practice is quite evident” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

18:32

Kaczyński:

Our Political Opponents Are Ready to Treat Poland as an Annex to Germany. We Want to Be a Great European Nation. They Don't.

In essence, [our political opponents] are ready to treat Poland as an annex to Germany. The airport in Berlin instead of in Poland is a good example of this, one could say – it shows what this is all about in an illuminating light. Here lies the fundamental difference. Of course, it relates to the sense of national dignity. We want to be a great European nation. They do not want to be a great European nation because they know that if Poland were a great European nation, this ‘elite’ would have nothing to say. This is, in essence, their motivation” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

18:35

Kaczyński:

An Extremely Brutal and Far-Reaching Intervention by the Press Occurred. Let's Not Hide It. Simply German. But in the Future, We Must Prevent Such Situations Entirely

External forces are usurping the right to decide who will govern in Poland, and this is already taking away something truly sacred from Poles – independence and sovereignty. Here, we must strongly oppose this already now in these elections. An extremely brutal and far-reaching intervention by the press has taken place. Let us not hide it. Simply German. But in the future, we must prevent such situations entirely” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

Kaczyński on Media Deconcentration: We Must Respect the Law, Including European Law, Because We Are in the EU, But Much Can Be Done Within This Law If We Want and Have Determination

We must respect the law, including European law, because we are in the EU, but much can be done within this law if we want and have determination. We cannot agree to a part of our national nervous system, and the nervous system is crowned by the brain, being in foreign hands. All those who claim that it doesn't matter, that capital has no nationality, etc., are simply cynically lying” – said PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

Duda at 50% in Ipsos Poll for Oko.press, 3% Undecided

- In a poll conducted by Ipsos for OKO.press and completed on Wednesday, the fate of the second round of the July 12th elections remains undecided. Duda leads 50 to 47 percent, which is impressive as he is the first in our series of studies to reach the magical '50%' mark, but such a lead does not predetermine anything. Not only are 3% of respondents undecided, but the margin of error for such a sample size is 3 percentage points. In other words, the true poll result looks like this: Trzaskowski 44-50%, Duda 47-53%. - reported Oko.press.

Kaczyński on Removing the 'Eugenic Clause' from the Abortion Compromise: 'The Case is in the Constitutional Tribunal. I hope that this ruling will be made one day, perhaps not so distant. We have no influence whatsoever on this.'

This matter [the so-called eugenic abortion] is still in the Constitutional Tribunal. I don’t know when the Constitutional Tribunal [will consider it]. That would be the best way, if of course the ruling were in favor of those who want to restrict abortion, not only introducing such restrictions but immediately giving it constitutional rank. This is very important. I hope that this ruling will be made one day, perhaps not so distant. We have no influence whatsoever on this – contrary to the narrative that the Tribunal is at our disposal – that such a ruling will be issued” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

We will strive for the matter to be resolved in social peace” - he added.

19:24

Kaczyński:

In Poland, media can only be bought by private capital. We expect this process to happen. TVN cannot be nationalized, and we are not interested in it, because we don't want to control the media.

In the Czech Republic, it was indeed bought by private capital [media]. In Poland, it can also only be bought by private capital. We are counting on such a process to take place. We live within certain limitations, sometimes political, sometimes legal. Simply put, another mechanism is impossible. It's only about a certain determination that would lead to this, and it will certainly not be a process that happens overnight, so that the situation in the media changes very clearly, regarding the ownership of these media. The same applies to TVN. I have no doubts about where TVN came from. If the gentleman who called thinks that nationalization of TVN can be carried out for this reason, he is mistaken. It cannot be done – that's the first thing – and secondly, we are not interested. We do not want to control the media. We just don't want decisions to be made outside Poland, such as 'we support this presidential candidate, and we simply destroy the one who, from our point of view, is worse or bad, using the most shameful methods” – said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on TV Trwam.

Trzaskowski:

Government Hasn't Met for Weeks. PiS Premier Organizes Campaign for PiS President Instead of Working
I would advise Prime Minister Morawiecki to get to work, because I am on vacation, but the government hasn't had a meeting for weeks, as ministers have been organizing the PiS campaign the entire time. The PiS premier is organizing a campaign for the PiS president instead of getting to work – said Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program “Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

19:53

Trzaskowski Asked About Ochojska's Tweet on LGBT Card: 'It's Not in My Program'

- I haven't spoken with Ms. Janina Ochojska in recent months, I respect her greatly, but I am saying clearly, it's not in my program, because today I want to focus on, yes, the fight against hatred, the fight against public television, which is constantly attacking - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Polsat News.

20:04

Trzaskowski:

Perhaps When President Kaczyński Can No Longer Call the Presidential Palace and Order All Laws Signed Blindly, He Will Realize It's Worth Talking

- If Mr. President Kaczyński stops stirring up trouble all the time and making all the decisions, then yes [Trzaskowski was asked if he saw a place for Jarosław Kaczyński in a united front]. And I will tell you, perhaps when President Kaczyński can no longer call the Presidential Palace and order all laws signed blindly, in the middle of the night, he will realize it's worth talking, because today Jarosław Kaczyński simply has full power - said Rafał Trzaskowski on Polsat News.

20:09

Trzaskowski:

Duda only divides us into the equal and the more equal. He has never reached out to anyone

- What is President Duda doing? He only and exclusively divides us, he only and exclusively divides us into the equal and the more equal. He has never extended a hand to anyone who thinks differently, and throughout his tenure, he has only stirred up trouble and presented a single point of view – said Rafał Trzaskowski on Polsat News.

20:20

Trzaskowski:

Morawiecki's Hypocrisy About Warsaw's Heating Company is Hilarious; He Headed a Bank Involved in Its Privatization

- This entire discussion is becoming a cynical tool for PiS in the election campaign. What makes me laugh the most is the hypocrisy of Prime Minister Morawiecki, who claims today that the company supplying heat to Warsaw is a French company. We ourselves have shares in it, because yes, it was indeed the highest offer at the time when this company was sold in 2011 or 2012. However, back then, Prime Minister Morawiecki was the head of the bank that participated in this privatization and, as the head of that bank, he said he saw no objections to selling this company to the French - said Rafał Trzaskowski on Polsat News.

20:49

President Duda: Cooperation is Needed. Work on Solutions to Implement, Not Fighting, Squabbling, Hindering Each Other, Political Competition, and Attempts to Overthrow the Government

- Cooperation is needed. Work on solutions that we will implement, rather than fighting, squabbling, hindering each other, political competition, and attempts to overthrow the government. I am convinced that if PO, or a PO figure like Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski, who was indeed a minister in Donald Tusk's government, a minister in Ewa Kopacz's government, who is currently the vice-chairman of PO, who was the campaign manager for Mrs. Gronkiewicz-Waltz, and after which we had all those reprivatization dramas in Warsaw, leading to deaths, were to come to power today, then unfortunately the effect would be dire - said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.

20:54

Duda on Ochojska's Tweet: "I heard Rabiej was reportedly excited by her post. They simply spoke the truth carelessly."

- I heard that Mr. Paweł Rabiej, Mr. Trzaskowski's friend and his deputy at the Warsaw City Hall, was reportedly excited by her post. As for me, I will say this: they simply spoke the truth carelessly - said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.

21:00

Duda:

How can we describe someone persecuting a disabled person for political reasons? Nightmarish behavior. A PO councilor from Bydgoszcz removed a disabled artist from the list of those eligible for foundation aid.

- I know this case. I spoke today with Ms. Anna, who was wronged in this way. I can't find the words, I can't find a description. If someone persecutes a disabled person for political reasons, what can it even be called? It's simply some kind of nightmarish behavior altogether, because we've heard many times that people were fired from their jobs for political reasons, yes. I know such situations, but here a PO councilor from Bydgoszcz removed a ward, she crossed her off the list of people who can receive help from this foundation, and moreover, a disabled artist, because Ms. Anna is a painter. This is something that should never happen, and unfortunately, it is happening - stated President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

21:08

President Duda: "I haven't been vaccinated against the flu and don't intend to. I believe that if I get sick, I'll simply be sick. As for coronavirus, it's a type of flu to me, at least that's how I understand it, just more dangerous."

- I know why you, Madam Editor, are asking. You're talking about my manipulated statement, where one sentence was cut out of context, and the entire context was thus reversed. A completely opposite assertion was created from it. I am not a general anti-vaxxer, as it's popularly called, but I do approach this with common sense. There are diseases that have indeed been almost eradicated, precisely thanks to vaccinations - said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.

- There are also flu vaccinations. I'll say it openly, I have never been vaccinated against the flu. My colleagues got vaccinated, with varying results. Some tolerated it very well and indeed didn't get sick afterwards, and even when they did get sick, they had very mild cases. But personally, I have never been vaccinated against the flu and I don't intend to get vaccinated. I believe that if I get sick, I'll simply be sick. As for coronavirus, it's a type of flu to me, at least that's how I understand it, just more dangerous, more severe, with symptoms often stronger than regular flu. And I'll say this, I would be rather very skeptical about introducing mandatory coronavirus vaccinations. I would say: no. If someone wants to, please, let them get vaccinated - the President added.

21:12

Duda:

If Foreign Media Attacks Me, It Means Their Foreign Patrons Are Unhappy with My Policies

- I am not commenting on this at all, because let's look at what's happening in general. I am attacked by media that are either foreign or that pretend to be Polish but simply have foreign origins or foreign capital. And this also shows what the game is about in this campaign, right. Because if foreign media attacks me, it means their foreign patrons are unhappy with the policies I am pursuing. If they are unhappy, it means the interests of their countries, their interests, are not being realized as they would wish. This is because Polish interests are being realized, quite simply. Finally, it's happening that the realization of Polish interests takes precedence over foreign interests - stated President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".

- Somehow, under Donald Tusk's government, Polish shipyards were liquidated, while German and French ones survived, right. So, whose interests mattered then? Today, it's completely the opposite. I am pursuing such policies and intend to continue pursuing such policies, and that's why these elections are important. I am asking my countrymen for support, so that they support the policy of pursuing Polish affairs, Polish affairs, and Polish interests, and I am pursuing Polish interests because my heart is Polish - PAD continued.

21:53

Obajtek:

At the President's request, the ORLEN Foundation will help a disabled person from Bydgoszcz

The President spoke about the matter in the program "Gość Wiadomości": – I am aware of this case. I spoke today with Ms. Anna, who was wronged in this way. I can't find the words, I can't find a description. If someone persecutes a disabled person for political reasons, what could one even call that? It's simply a monstrous behavior, because we've heard on numerous occasions that people were fired for political reasons, yes. I know of such situations, but here, a PO councilwoman from Bydgoszcz expelled her ward, crossed her off the list of people who could receive aid from this foundation, and on top of that, a disabled artist, because Ms. Anna is a painter. This is something that should never happen, but unfortunately, it is happening.

Kaczyński on Jewish Claims: "Trzaskowski Said it Needs to be Discussed. Only Someone Without a Polish Soul, Polish Heart, and Polish Mind Could Say Such a Thing. Trzaskowski Apparently Doesn't Seem to Have It."

Only someone without a Polish soul, Polish heart, and Polish mind could say such a thing. Mr. Trzaskowski apparently doesn't seem to have it, since he says that this [payment of Jewish claims] is a matter for discussion. We can discuss compensation for Poland, but not compensation that we are to pay because in 1939, having another option, as there were German proposals, we took up the fight against Nazi Germany, and a moment later we were also attacked by Soviet Russia and truly suffered horrific consequences. Moreover, very many Poles paid with their lives also for helping, for saving Jews” - said PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński on Radio Maryja.

One truly has to be a very specific type of person to say something like that, to think about something like that. He will probably deny it now, but please do not believe these denials, if they were to come, for example, tomorrow. He said it needs to be discussed” - he added.

-- Rafał Trzaskowski must win over those who did not vote for Andrzej Duda in the first round. Szymon Hołownia, who had the third-best result, warns against PiS and Andrzej Duda. A portion of Lewica (The Left) and PSL politicians also openly support the KO candidate. Rafał Trzaskowski is also counting heavily on the support of local government officials.

-- THE PRESIDENT, NOT ONLY PIS, IS WATCHING THE GOVERNMENT'S ACTIONS, BUT HE IS NOT FROM THE TOTAL OPPOSITION; HE SUPPORTS LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND WANTS A DEBATE WITH ANDRZEJ DUDA - Maciej Knapik.

-- 68% FOR THE FIRST LADY WHO SPEAKS PUBLICLY, 23% AGAINST.

-- TRZASKOWSKI'S MOBILIZATION SPOT.

-- EVERY CHECKMARK COUNTS - THIS IS THE UNAMBIGUOUS MESSAGE FROM TRZASKOWSKI'S CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS - Knapik.

-- President Kaczyński most likely spent the decisive days of the campaign at his office on Nowogrodzka Street in Warsaw. He did not appear with Andrzej Duda even once. The Prime Minister and ministers traveled around the country on their own. The President, in search of missing votes, headed west, to areas where he clearly lost to Rafał Trzaskowski.

-- IT WAS IMMEDIATELY APPARENT WHERE PAD WOULD LOOK FOR VOTERS - Krzysztof Skórzyński: Already in the first minutes after the first round of the elections, it was clear where Andrzej Duda would look for voters to think about winning the presidential election. The result among the youngest voters, those under thirty, was not a setback; it was an electoral disaster.

-- SKÓRZYŃSKI ON PAD'S GREETINGS TO THE YOUNGEST VOTERS: The incumbent president participated in a popular event for computer gamers. This was a clear nod to voters who, two weeks ago, were much closer to the opposition candidates.

-- THE PRESIDENT TRAVELED WHERE HE LOST - SKÓRZYŃSKI: In nine municipalities that Andrzej Duda visited after the first round, his result was on average 20 percentage points lower than his average result across all Polish municipalities. On Thursday, the president visited Katowice, where he clearly lost the first round.

-- WAS THE STATEMENT ABOUT VACCINATIONS COINCIDENTAL? - SKÓRZYŃSKI CONTINUES: Some PiS politicians say in informal conversations that the president's statement on mandatory vaccinations was not accidental. This justifies suspicions that these words were a "wink" to anti-vaxxers, and attracting even very small groups of voters can be the key to ultimate success.

-- 69% AGAINST PARDONING VICTIMS OF SEXUAL OFFENSES.

-- SKÓRZYŃSKI ON THE MOST DIFFICULT MOMENT OF THE CAMPAIGN: The most difficult moment of the campaign for the president seeking re-election could have been when "Rzeczpospolita" and "Fakt" reported the story of pardoning a man convicted of raping his daughter and abusing his partner from a ban on contact with victims. In a poll for "Fakty" TVN and TVN24, respondents were asked whether clemency should be applied to such individuals at all. An overwhelming majority of respondents are against it, even despite the president's assurances that it was the family who asked him for help.

-- IT IS ALWAYS WORTH TALKING, THE QUESTION IS WHETHER PRESIDENT ANDRZEJ DUDA WILL RENEW HIS MANDATE; IF NOT, IT IS A GREAT SHAME THAT WE WERE NOT INVITED FOR THESE 5 YEARS - Krzysztof Bosak.

-- IN THE OPINION OF SOME POLITICIANS, THE INVITATION IS DESPERATE AND GROTESQUE - Płuska.

-- IT IS SAID THAT THIS IS NOT ONLY A GESTURE TOWARDS THE VOTERS OF KONFEDERACJA AND PSL BUT ALSO A WINK TO HOŁOWNIA'S ELECTORATE - Płuska.

-- THIS IS AN IDEA THAT HAS BEEN CIRCULATING IN WARSAW POLITICAL CIRCLES AND HAS BEEN TALKED ABOUT FOR SEVERAL DAYS - SZYMON HOŁOWNIA.

-- IN HOŁOWNIA'S OPINION, THIS WOULD ALLOW FOR THE RECLAMATION OF THE SENATE AND SOME LOCAL GOVERNMENTS - Płuska.

-- THE HEAD OF PSL DOES NOT HIDE THAT TRZASKOWSKI IS CLOSER TO HIM AND IS INCREASINGLY GAINING SUPPORT FROM INDIVIDUALS ASSOCIATED WITH AGRICULTURE, SUCH AS FORMER MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE MOJZESOWICZ AND TOMASZ LEPPER - Płuska.

-- ACTIONS, NOT WORDS; PAD'S APPEALS ALONE ARE NOT ENOUGH - Płuska.

-- VERDICT IN THE SZYDŁO ACCIDENT CASE: The court conditionally suspended the proceedings in the case of the collision between Sebastian Kościelnik's car and Beata Szydło's limousine, which occurred in 2017 in Oświęcim. The driver of the Seicento must pay compensation - one thousand zlotys each to Beata Szydło and the BOR officer. The prosecutor's office is to examine, on the court's order, whether the BOR drivers did not break the law at the time either.

Duda:

The Situation with Public Television is Bad, but it's Not a Recent Issue. Public Television is a Political Spoils System
The situation with public television is bad, but it's not a matter of recent years. If we look at it objectively, it's an issue that has been present here for a very, very long time. Public television is a kind of political spoils system. You mentioned President Lech Kaczyński; President Lech Kaczyński tried to do something about it. He met with representatives of artistic circles connected with film, he tried to reform it, but at the time, Civic Platform was completely uninterested because they saw television as their political spoils – said President Andrzej Duda in a conversation with internet creator Karol Paciorek.

President Duda on the "Despite Everything Duda" Meeting: I Couldn't Stomach Voting for Kwaśniewski in 1995, So I Voted for Wałęsa, Based on the Principle of "Despite Everything, Wałęsa"
It's no secret to anyone, I've spoken about it several times already, although I suspect some will be taken aback in different directions, when I say this, in 1995 I went to the presidential election, and there were two options to choose from in the second round. Lech Wałęsa was an option, and Aleksander Kwaśniewski was an option - said President Andrzej Duda in a conversation with internet creator Karol Paciorek. - For me, he was a member of the repressive apparatus [Kwaśniewski], although perhaps some will disagree, but for me the communist party and everything connected with it was the repressive apparatus. The people in power then were, in general terms, the repressive apparatus for me, that's how I approached it then. So I couldn't come to terms with the idea that I could vote for him at all in 1995, and I went to vote for Lech Wałęsa based on the principle: well, despite everything, Wałęsa. Despite everything. Even though I had grievances against him on various matters, I believed that if I saw values that were important to me somewhere, I definitely saw them more in Lech Wałęsa than in Aleksander Kwaśniewski - the president continued.
