PAD at the swearing-in ceremony for soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Territorial Defence Brigade:
I am very proud and happy to be here with you today.
- I am very proud and happy to be here with you today. Proud, and I would even say moved, because literally a few days ago, I may have been shaking the hands of the ladies and gentlemen soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Brigade named after Colonel Łukasz Ciepliński, shaking those hands where people needed them. I shook those hands looking at the tired faces of soldiers who, very often, hadn’t slept for several nights. This was because they were continuously providing help to those affected, those impacted by the catastrophic consequences of the natural disaster, floods, and storms that swept through Subcarpathia. They did this reliably, fulfilling in the words of the soldier’s oath, their motto: Always ready, always close. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for this – stated President Andrzej Duda during the swearing-in ceremony for soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Territorial Defence Brigade.
