Trzaskowski Will Not Participate in TVP Debate:

I Invite Mr. President to a Real Debate.
The debate should be for everyone, not for the chosen few. I believe that the three largest television stations should come to an agreement, organize a joint debate, and invite other media. So, I have good news for the president, namely tomorrow, Monday at 8:30 PM, we are organizing a presidential debate in Leszno, and I cordially invite the president precisely to this debate. I have told you about a completely new format for the debate. The Presidential Arena, where we invite journalists from left to right. They will be able to ask questions on any topic. I will answer these questions. I hope that President Duda will be beside me and will also answer questions in such an open format - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Częstochowa. - As you know, unfortunately, the president very rarely answers questions. He almost never holds press conferences; only staged events are organized, where the president knows the questions before they are asked. Exactly such a staged event is being prepared in Końskie, so for the president, I want to say clearly that I will not participate in such a rally. Instead, I invite the president to a real debate, to a new format, where one can finally learn the president's views, if he appears at it - he continued.

PAD at the swearing-in ceremony for soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Territorial Defence Brigade:

I am very proud and happy to be here with you today.

- I am very proud and happy to be here with you today. Proud, and I would even say moved, because literally a few days ago, I may have been shaking the hands of the ladies and gentlemen soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Brigade named after Colonel Łukasz Ciepliński, shaking those hands where people needed them. I shook those hands looking at the tired faces of soldiers who, very often, hadn’t slept for several nights. This was because they were continuously providing help to those affected, those impacted by the catastrophic consequences of the natural disaster, floods, and storms that swept through Subcarpathia. They did this reliably, fulfilling in the words of the soldier’s oath, their motto: Always ready, always close. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for this – stated President Andrzej Duda during the swearing-in ceremony for soldiers of the 3rd Subcarpathian Territorial Defence Brigade.

Trzaskowski:

We Must Engage in Open Debate to Ask the President Difficult Questions. And There Are Many Such Questions.
We must engage in an open debate to ask the president difficult questions. And there are many such questions. One could ask where that million electric cars promised is? One could ask where those ships and vessels from the Szczecin shipyard that were promised are? One could ask where the helicopters for our army are, but most importantly, one could ask Mr. President where the tax-free amount is, where tax-free pensions are, and where, finally, is the aid for those with Swiss franc loans? These are the questions that must be asked of the president today. - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Dąbrowa Górnicza.

14:50

Trzaskowski:

You've seen what's been happening in recent weeks, when the government couldn't even say if the epidemic was ending or just beginning. And then, on top of that, they try to cynically attack Silesians. I'm telling you clearly, we've had enough.

- We remember the years when various things were promised to you. And that applies to all governments, to be clear. We remember what the PiS government promised. They promised not to close mines. You see what's happening. You've seen what's been happening in recent weeks, when the government couldn't even say if the epidemic was ending or just beginning. And then, on top of that, they try to cynically attack Silesians. I'm telling you clearly, we've had enough of this - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Bytom.

14:59

Trzaskowski:

We All Sat Up Nights With Our Kids Doing Homework, While Kaczyński Lectures Us on Family. We've Had Enough
My daughter is already 15 years old, and when I hear Prime Minister Morawiecki talk about what happened 13 years ago, it seems to me he is completely detached from reality. That's because today we need to talk about tomorrow. I know, listen, let's understand this, because maybe you don't remember, Prime Minister Morawiecki probably reminisces nostalgically about the times when he advised Donald Tusk, probably hence the nostalgia, and also probably hence the nostalgia for the former years of President Duda, when his true hero, because he was in UW, was Bronisław Geremek. I understand that, but I want to tell you one thing: we need to talk about tomorrow, about the future. And my daughter tells me: Dad, they keep talking about family all the time, and yet they are destroying Polish education. Why did they attack my teachers? Why do I have to cram things at night that are completely useless to me? I will tell you that it was all of us who sat up nights with our kids doing homework, while Jarosław Kaczyński lectures us on what family is. And we've had enough of that - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Bytom.

PMM:

We must be mobilized against these dyed foxes, led by Trzaskowski
We must be mobilized against these dyed foxes, led by Mr. Trzaskowski. I wonder if Mr. Trzaskowski, when he looks in the mirror in the morning and evening, recognizes if it is one and the same person. He can change his mind more often than his colleagues, than Tusk, than Budka, than Mr. Rostowski - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Bytów.

15:11

PM Morawiecki on Trzaskowski: It's not a case of him being swayed by a turbo-liberal, leftist, or communist one moment and a conservative or democrat the next. The principle is much simpler. One moment Tusk, the next Giertych, Rostowski, or Balcerowicz. Th

- There's a lot of talk about debates today, isn't there? This debate, that debate. It's clear that Mr. Trzaskowski wants a debate under the protection of his media, which in most cases are media that favor him. But I have a proposal for Mr. Trzaskowski. Mr. Rafał, please have this debate with yourself first. You need to reconcile your views with yourself because your views in the morning are different from your views in the evening. That's how it is, ladies and gentlemen. In a debate, you need to have some views, and his views in the morning are different from his views in the evening. And pay attention, ladies and gentlemen, it's not a case of him being swayed by a liberal, turbo-liberal one moment, then some leftist, communist – because that's partly in his nature too – and then again a conservative, democrat, or someone else. No, ladies and gentlemen. The principle with Mr. Trzaskowski is much simpler. One moment Mr. Tusk is in charge of him, the next Mr. Giertych, then Rostowski, then Balcerowicz. These are his idols, these are his friends – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Bytów.

16:10

Morawiecki:

Political Turmoil Fuels Health and Economic Crises, Citing Italy and Spain

- As I look at the situation in Italy and Spain, allow me this personal reflection, some of the troubles they experienced during this epidemic are linked to political turmoil. Political crises can be the source of major problems in healthcare and major economic problems - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Chojnice.

17:26

Małgorzata Trzaskowska: Women and mothers raising children should be appreciated. They should receive a pension supplement, at least PLN 200 for each child.

- Silesia is also home to strong and proud women who know exactly how much energy it takes for everything in the family to run as it should. I believe that women and mothers raising children should be appreciated, because there is no harder and more responsible job. For this work and commitment, they should receive a pension supplement, at least PLN 200 for each child - said Małgorzata Trzaskowska in Katowice.

17:33

Trzaskowski in Katowice: We will not allow the authorities to divide us, to attack us. I don't think my blood has ever boiled as much as when I heard about the 'hidden German option'
- I want to tell you the most important thing, today on the anniversary of the end of the Third Silesian Uprising. I wanted to tell you one thing. What we will definitely not allow is for the authorities to divide us, to attack us, to try to point out anyone for being different. I will tell you that I don't think my blood has ever boiled as much as when I heard about the 'hidden German option'. We've had enough - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Katowice.

17:49

Trzaskowski:

We Know What Solidarity Is, We Live It Daily, Not Just at PiS Propaganda Rallies Where Figures Who Don't Understand Solidarity Speak
I'll tell you, what we've built in recent weeks is primarily a feeling of incredible strength, because over the past few years we've had this feeling that they were constantly outplaying us, that they were constantly trying to impose topics of public debate. And you know what? I think we've all found the key to them. Namely, we need to take away from them, piece by piece, what they constantly talk about. Because these are not their topics. They talk about family? We know far better what defending the Polish family means, and we will talk about it, not them. They will teach us about patriotism? We know a hundred times better what patriotism is, and we need to take that away from them, because it belongs to the entire nation, not to one political party – Rafał Trzaskowski said in Katowice.

I'll tell you more. What can Silesians take away from today's government? Because you have the right to do so, like few others in Poland. Namely, only you can take away the word "solidarity" from them, because it is your word. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the property of all citizens in Poland, the whole world knows us by this word. And this word belongs to us. Today, new solidarity is needed. Solidarity with all those who are attacked today, who are humiliated today. Today, we must show solidarity towards everyone whom this government ignores, attacks, stigmatizes – he continued.

We know what solidarity is, because we are guided by solidarity every day, and not only and exclusively at propaganda rallies, at which PiS party figures perform, who have no idea what solidarity is. I'll tell you one more thing. We care about the state, and they care about the states of the Szumowskis and the Morawieckis – he added.

PiS Clip to Young People Who Voted for the First Time Five Years Ago: 'We Understood We Also Have Duties, and This is the Time When We Are Finally Climbing to the Top and Together Building a New Poland, United and Without Complexes'
- So much has changed in our lives over 5 years, so many chances and opportunities have opened up for each of us. Can we hold onto something that is so close, within reach? - says the narrator of the latest PiS campaign clip aimed at young voters. Its aspirational character might strike a chord, as the background of the message features the trendiest spots in the capital. - We understood that we also have duties, and this is the time when we are finally climbing to the top and together building a new Poland, united and without complexes, because we are aware and know our worth. We remember our first elections, and today it's the same - says the narrator, referring to the young voters who supported the incumbent president 5 years ago.

- Modern patriotism and how we think about Poland, its future, and the opportunities that lie before our Homeland has the face of young, beautiful girls and boys, and countless small children for whom Polishness is not an empty slogan. This is a reason for pride and a will to participate in the positive changes of our country - explains one of its creators the concept of the spot.
