Szczerski:

Gazprom Has Indeed Confirmed It's Transferring $1.5 Billion to PGNiG. This is a Great Diplomatic and Judicial Victory for Poland

- We have good news from the international stage in recent hours for Poland. Firstly, you mentioned the gas pipeline, Gazprom has indeed confirmed that it is transferring $1.5 billion to PGNiG. This is a great diplomatic and judicial victory for Poland over this company - said Krzysztof Szczerski in an interview with Michał Rachoń on TVP Info's "Jedziemy".

08:04

Fogiel on Thursday's Debate: PAD is in Lubuskie, if memory serves, definitely Western Poland. He also has media commitments.

- Previous commitments [prevent the President from participating in Thursday's debate]. The President is in Lubuskie then, if my memory serves me right, in any case, Western Poland. He also has some media commitments, but to meet expectations regarding debates and the broadest possible availability, the President said yesterday that in his opinion the optimal solution would be a debate organized by the three main, nationwide television stations - stated Radosław Fogiel in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

08:06

Szczerski:

On Friday, the President will inaugurate Poland's V4 Presidency. He will deliver a speech, outlining our vision for strengthening our region.

- On Friday, the President will inaugurate Poland's Presidency of the Visegrad Group. The President will deliver a speech at the meeting of the Visegrad Group Prime Ministers. He will also comprehensively present our vision, which is the President's concept for expanding the strength of our region, our international agency, our Polish interests, and regional European and transatlantic interests that are interconnected - said Krzysztof Szczerski on TVP Info.

08:09

Fogiel on Debates: We Must Balance Campaign Plans Between Participating in Debates and the President's Involvement in a Live, Direct Campaign

- It would probably be much easier if we had 4 weeks of campaigning between the first and second rounds of the election, instead of 2. Here, we must balance campaign plans between participating in debates, with all due respect to the journalists and viewers, and the president's involvement in such a live, direct campaign - stated Radosław Fogiel in the "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" program on TVN24.

08:13

Szczerski:

Trzaskowski is the candidate of negative emotions. I haven't seen any damaged Trzaskowski banners. I've seen a lot of damaged Duda banners.

- While traveling around Poland, each of us sees how much President Andrzej Duda's posters are being damaged. No other candidate has had their posters destroyed like the President's banners are. It is evident that people who are against the President are extremely agitated, their aggressive, negative emotions are stirred up. Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski is the candidate of negative emotions, and it's visible because it translates into such simple anger towards the banner itself. I haven't seen any damaged banners of Rafał Trzaskowski, Krzysztof Bosak, or any other candidates. I've seen a lot of damaged Andrzej Duda banners - said Krzysztof Szczerski on TVP Info.

08:20

Szczerski:

Hołownia's Supporters' Rational Choice is to Avoid Becoming Another Petru or Palikot, a PO Appendage, and Instead Focus on Building Their Own Bloc. This is Only Possible if Duda Wins.

- The rational choice for the camp of Szymon Hołownia's supporters is to avoid becoming another Ryszard Petru or Janusz Palikot, meaning an appendage to Civic Platform, and instead to truly focus on the possibility of building their own political bloc in these elections. This will only be possible if President Andrzej Duda wins, who will simply be the president continuing the current policy of open, community-driven action - said Krzysztof Szczerski on TVP Info.

08:21

Fogiel:

President Duda Has Commitments to Residents Tomorrow, but Will Gladly Attend the Debate on TVN, Polsat, and TVP

- Andrzej Duda has commitments to residents tomorrow with whom he will be meeting, and he will gladly appear at the debate on TVN, Polsat, and TVP. So that all viewers can see this clash and form their own opinion - stated Radosław Fogiel in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

09:11

Hołownia:

Of Course, I Will Vote for Trzaskowski, and I Say This Directly

"Of course, I will vote for Trzaskowski, and I say this directly. However, by saying that I will vote against Duda, I want to explain the motives for this vote and be honest with myself and the voters, and state it clearly," said Szymon Hołownia, leader of the Poland 2050 movement, in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Radio Trójka.

09:47

PMM:

Our Priority is to Support Those Who Have Developed More Slowly So Far

- It's easier for those big, large cities to develop. And we support them too; the local investment fund also allocates funds there, and we also transfer funds from this fund to them. But above all, we want to take care of those who have developed more slowly until now. Hence, these local investments here, which were mentioned, meaning the swimming pool, but especially also the road, the bypass, which you have been waiting for for several decades. It will be opened soon - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Tomaszów Lubelski.

09:52

PMM:

PAD is a demanding partner, but a partner who loves Polish lands, loves its counties

- This rapid reaction was possible thanks to a partnership, a demanding partnership with President Duda, because President Duda is a demanding partner, but a partner who loves Polish lands, loves its counties, including those on the peripheries, one might say, the eastern borders of the Republic of Poland, and thanks to the fact that we managed to create these jobs and new ones through investments, we know that this is a good path to emerge from this crisis we are in – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Tomaszów Lubelski.

09:53

PM Morawiecki: "We No Longer Need to Fear the Virus," Urges High Turnout for July 12th Elections
"I am glad that we are increasingly less afraid of this virus, of this epidemic, and this is the right approach, because it is on the retreat. We no longer need to be afraid of it. We must go to the polls in large numbers on July 12th. All sanitary requirements will be maintained. Very adequate. Nothing happened now, nothing will happen on July 12th. Let us all, especially seniors, not be afraid. Let's go to the polls. It is important to be able to continue this fair line of development," stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Tomaszów Lubelski.

10:02

Morawiecki to Trzaskowski: Show Us the Taxes You Raised and Lowered During the Kopacz and Tusk Governments

- During the time when [Rafał Trzaskowski] was in Civic Platform, taxes were raised. When he was in the PO government, under Prime Minister Tusk and Prime Minister Kopacz, taxes were raised. And he has the audacity to talk about this? Pay attention to the fact that they are the proponents of lowering taxes. This is a complete case of calling black white and white black. Complete inconsistency, lack of coherence, but that's precisely what these elections are about. President Duda, who has real achievements in cities and districts like yours, here, and a counter-candidate who engages in trickery, which is easily exposed. I did that yesterday. I appealed, Mr. Trzaskowski, show us the taxes you lowered and show us the taxes you raised during the times when you were in the government of Mrs. Kopacz and Mr. Tusk - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Tomaszów Lubelski.

10:06

Morawiecki Announces VAT Cuts on Hundreds of Items: 'Real Politics for the People'

- From today, a reduced VAT rate applies to several hundred articles. PiS has lowered the VAT tax on several hundred food items, but also on child car seats, pacifiers, and diapers. This is real politics for the people. We are reducing it, at the cost of several hundred million more in the budget, and these several hundred million will remain in the pockets of Poles. Because it is most important for us that the ordinary Polish family, here in Tomaszów, here in the Lubelszczyzna region, in Poland, feels safer, even during this difficult situation of emerging from this crisis - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Tomaszów Lubelski.

10:22

Łapiński:

It's evident that Duda's and the right-wing voters are highly motivated and mobilized. Nothing suggests they will disengage in the second round.

In previous elections, it often happened that high turnout, high turnout in large cities, benefited candidates from the center-left camp. This time it’s different. This time, it’s also evident that Andrzej Duda’s and the right-wing voters are highly motivated and mobilized. Nothing suggests they will disengage in the second round. This is a mega-difficult task for Rafał Trzaskowski” – said Krzysztof Łapiński in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

10:38

Trzaskowski:

I Will Present a Bill to Increase the Tax-Free Amount. Minimum Wage Earners Will Not Pay Taxes. Those Earning Between 30 and 65 Thousand PLN Will Have a 8 Thousand PLN Tax-Free Amount.

- If the ruling party wants to increase burdens, taxes, then at that moment there will be a clear, firm tax veto. This is because we cannot afford to once again push burdens onto citizens, and it is already visible today that the government is hiding something, which is probably why they rushed to hold elections. This is because all sorts of information are reaching us that the ruling party knows they will not cope with the situation that is coming and that they are allegedly preparing to raise taxes - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczcinek.

- The president must also come up with concrete initiatives. Those that can help citizens. And that is why I will present a bill that will increase the tax-free amount. The "everything in hand" law. Today, the tax system in Poland is not fair, and unfortunately, people who earn the least are often overburdened with taxes. The "everything in hand" law is meant to help them. Everyone who earns up to thirty thousand zlotys will simply be exempt from tax. This means that people who today receive the minimum wage will not pay tax. On the other hand, for people who have an income between 30 and 65 thousand, the tax-free amount will be 8 thousand zlotys. President Duda made very similar commitments, but unfortunately, he did not fulfill his promises. It is evident that the PiS government does not take its own president seriously enough, and that is why such promises need to be fulfilled - he continued.

11:03

Trzaskowski to the President: Mr. President, Let's Not Stage TVP Debates. Let's Not Stage Debates Where You Know the Questions in Advance. I Hope You'll Allow for an Open Debate Format

- I have appealed many times and can appeal once more to the president: Mr. President, let's not stage TVP debates. Let's not stage debates where you know the questions that will be asked. Let's not stage debates where you cannot be asked questions, because that is precisely what your campaign team plans, but let's meet on solid ground and simply talk about tomorrow, not about substitute topics, as was the case during the last debate on TVP. Enough of these questions posed by TVP. I hope you will allow for an open debate format on Thursday or for the presidential agora, which I proposed, where journalists from left to right will be able to ask us questions, where we ourselves will be able to ask each other questions, because it is truly worth simply talking about tomorrow, about real problems, and not just endlessly reciting learned formulas and answering questions to which you know the answer because you knew the questions before the debate itself. Polish men and women truly deserve to be treated honestly and seriously - stated Rafał Trzaskowski in Szczecinek.

11:05

Grodzki:

Senate Agenda May Be Supplemented with Prime Minister's Report on State Finances and Foreign Minister's on First Round Voting

It is possible that the Senate agenda will be supplemented with a report from the Prime Minister on the state of public finances, as the interview given by the Minister of Finance and signals from citizens have concerned senators about what that state truly is. Perhaps the agenda will also be supplemented with a report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs regarding the appalling events that particularly affected those who voted abroad, as various incidents prevented them from casting their ballots. This matter absolutely requires clarification before the second round” – said Senate Marshal Tomasz Grodzki at a press conference.

11:05

Grodzki on the Tourist Voucher Act: "I Assume Senators Will Propose Amendments"

There was a heated discussion in the Sejm on this topic [tourist voucher]. I assume that senators will propose amendments” - said the Marshal of the Senate, Tomasz Grodzki, at a press conference.

PAD:

Funds Received from Russian Concern Gazprom. This Has Concrete Implications. Starting Today, Gas Prices for Citizens are 10.5% Lower
Funds have been received from the Russian concern Gazprom. This is, ladies and gentlemen, 1.5 billion dollars that a Polish company won in a dispute with Gazprom - said President Andrzej Duda in Drawsko Pomorskie. - This has concrete implications. Starting today, gas prices for citizens are 10.5% lower than before. Starting today. If we add to this that since 2015, since I became president, these prices have been gradually falling, the total reduction in prices over the last five years, including today's reduction which starts today, is, ladies and gentlemen, almost 18% - the president added.

11:12

President Duda Defends Tax Policy Amidst Criticism: "We Lowered Taxes, Especially for Ordinary Citizens"
"We are being attacked recently by various people, saying that we are raising taxes. Ladies and gentlemen, I have said many times. We have lowered taxes, those that were most important for the ordinary citizen, we have lowered them. We lowered the tax in the first income group. From 18 to 17%. Ladies and gentlemen, we have introduced relief in the case of implementing various investment solutions, for example, thermal modernization" - said President Andrzej Duda in Drawsko Pomorskie.

11:15

Duda:

True Freedom Means Not Worrying About Surviving Month-to-Month

- It's about freedom. Who is truly free? Truly free is the one who doesn't worry about how they will survive from the first to the first of the month. After all, that is freedom, isn't it? Truly free is the one who has a job. Who can choose that job, who actually has the possibility to choose their workplace - said President Andrzej Duda in Drawsko Pomorskie.

11:18

President Duda: Absolutely No Agreement on Aggressive Sex Education Programs Taught by Non-School Institutions

- Absolutely no agreement on any aggressive sex education programs, absolutely no agreement for them to be taught by any institutions that are not school institutions, which happens outside of parental control and without their consent. Absolutely out of the question - said President Andrzej Duda in Drawsko Pomorskie.

11:18

Trzaskowski:

Duda Has Already Participated in Two PiS Debates on PiS Television. Perhaps This is an Opportunity for a Different Kind of Debate? We're Waiting on Thursday. For the First Time, You Won't Know the Questions, But Perhaps This Will Liven Up the
From the morning, TVP has been asking me if I will come to the debate. It needs to be said clearly. President Andrzej Duda has already participated in two PiS debates on PiS television, where primarily substitute topics were discussed. Perhaps this is an opportunity to finally organize a different kind of debate? Mr. President, we are waiting on Thursday. For the first time, you will not know the questions that will be asked, but perhaps this will liven up the debate a bit” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition candidate for president and the mayor of Warsaw, in Szczecinek.

11:23

Duda:

Freedom of Speech is Fundamental. It Means Enough of False Political Correctness, Especially Imposed by Left-Leaning Media

- Freedom of speech is fundamental. But this freedom of speech, ladies and gentlemen, means enough of false political correctness, where a language is imposed upon us, especially by left-leaning media, that is completely contradictory to this freedom. I do not agree with this. I do not agree with the obligation to remain silent, neither in the media, nor in politics, nor in Polish universities or schools. Let's call things by their names, as they are. This too is freedom, and we have the right to it - said President Andrzej Duda in Drawsko Pomorskie.

11:35

Trzaskowski on Submitting the Bill on Tax-Free Allowance: "Other Promises the President Forgot, Such as Aid for 'Frankowcy' and Pension Issues, Will Also Be on the Table, and There Will Be More"

"I myself will undertake clear initiatives. Today we spoke about the need to restore the conversation and submit a concrete bill regarding the tax-free allowance. I am saying this clearly. Yes, I will submit a bill on the tax-free allowance. Everything is in favor. People earning up to 30,000 PLN per year should be exempt from tax. This is precisely the initiative that the president once promised and it needs to be implemented. Also, other promises the president forgot, such as aid for 'Frankowcy', issues related to pensions, and the absence of taxes, these are also initiatives that I will put on the table, and there will be more" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, KO's presidential candidate and the mayor of Warsaw, in Szczecinek.

Duda Refuses Trzaskowski's Debate Terms: "No Dictation, No Foreign Media Protection"

They are asking me if I will participate in the debate. Of course, ladies and gentlemen, I always gladly participate in debates, and I have participated many times. However, on fair terms, which were agreed upon equally with everyone. Where we received an invitation and set the date. Not, ladies and gentlemen, where some private television station of Mr. Trzaskowski dictates the date of the debate and orders us to appear. No. And it turns out, ladies and gentlemen, that Mr. Trzaskowski wants to organize a debate under the protection of foreign media. I do not agree to this. Why should Polish media be treated worse? Why should Polsat be treated worse? Why should Telewizja Polska be treated worse? Why should other media be treated worse? – said President Andrzej Duda in Złotów.

14:04

Duda:

TVN Tries to Dictate Debate Timing; I Won't Agree. Is This Dictatorship? Not to Mention Ad Revenue, Not Just Supporting Trzaskowski

- Precisely, ladies and gentlemen, exactly like this. Let's have a debate, let it be a real debate. Let all the media do it together. All the major television stations. Why, ladies and gentlemen, can't such a debate be organized? Poles deserve exactly this kind of debate. I will participate in such a debate. I have no problem with that. Only let its date be honestly set in agreement with the campaign staffs, not imposed. It's simply a dictatorship. There's no such thing. It's never been like this. Ladies and gentlemen, what kind of customs are these? There are no such customs in the United States, nor in Western Europe, in Great Britain, there are no such customs. The date of a debate is agreed upon with the campaign staffs; it has always been this way here until now. This is the first time that TVN is trying to impose the date of a debate on other campaign staffs. I do not agree to this. What is this? A dictatorship? I won't even mention, ladies and gentlemen, that it's about advertising revenue. Not just about supporting Mr. Trzaskowski. About advertising revenue. It's obvious what's happening. Huge money is behind it. A debate has enormous viewership. This means gigantic profits. Why should one, foreign television station have these profits? I do not agree with this - said President Andrzej Duda in Złotów.

14:13

Duda:

I Will Not Allow Aggressive Sexualization in Schools, Nor Same-Sex Couples to Adopt in Poland

- I will not allow, ladies and gentlemen, for the situation of the Polish family to be worsened. I will not allow for experiments on children. I will not allow it. I will not allow aggressive sexualization to be introduced into schools. I will not allow same-sex couples to adopt children in Poland. I absolutely do not agree to this - said President Andrzej Duda in Złotów.

14:44

Bielan:

In 2016, a Crucial Government Bill on Combating Sex Offending Was Voted On; 125 PO MPs Abstain, 8 Absent, Including Trzaskowski

- PO politicians, seeing the presidential election victory slipping through their fingers, have fallen very low. They are starting to exploit human tragedy and drama to falsely attack President Duda. But there is one positive aspect to this. PO politicians have introduced the topic of fighting pedophilia into public debate. We would like to remind everyone how PO politicians, and primarily the PO candidate, behaved in 2016 when a very important government bill, a bill to counter threats from sex offenses, was being voted on. A bill that introduced, among other things, a very crucial registry of pedophilic offenders. That is how the parliamentary club behaved. 125 PO MPs abstained from voting, but 8 were absent from the vote, and who was absent from the vote? MP Trzaskowski. We are recalling this vote because, knowing Rafał Trzaskowski's memory issues, he might not remember that he was an MP at the time, he might not remember that he did not vote on this crucial vote for the fight against pedophilia. Why did Trzaskowski not support this very important law? - stated Adam Bielan at a press briefing.

- This law introducing the sex offender registry, colloquially known as the pedophile registry, is the first step to asking questions about how Rafał Trzaskowski behaves in such matters. We would not be raising this topic if it weren't for the fact that Rafał Trzaskowski unleashed his campaign's media bulldogs today to attack President Duda in an absolutely unjustified manner, accusing him of disgraceful things that never happened. Minister Mucha explained all of this at her conference, we will not return to it. Perhaps we will only emphasize one thing: that the act of grace the president granted was given at the request of an adult victim. It is very important that this is heard - Radosław Fogiel continued.

14:52

Budka to Kaczyński: Call the President and Tell Him to Attend the Debate. Mr. Chairman, It's Time to Talk to Poles. He's Your Candidate.

I have a request for Jarosław Kaczyński: call the President and tell him to go to this debate. Mr. Chairman, it would be fitting to talk to Poles. He is your candidate, PiS’s candidate, a candidate whom you chose, and over whom you have had a very significant influence for 5 years. He is a candidate who will do nothing against your will. I have a request. Please call Mr. Andrzej Duda and instruct him to appear at the debate that Poles are asking for” - said PO chairman Borys Budka at a press conference in Krakow.

15:04

Bielan:

We're Asking Trzaskowski Why He Didn't Support the Pedophile Registry Bill

- Rafał Trzaskowski's defense of Roman Polanski may be the answer to why Trzaskowski did not participate in this important vote, why he did not support an important government bill submitted by the United Right government, which introduced a pedophile registry. We are asking Rafał Trzaskowski why he did not support this bill, and at the same time we are asking Rafał Trzaskowski not to unleash his bulldogs. We understand that a drowning man clutches at straws, we understand the desperation of a candidate who lost the first round of the presidential election, but this is truly no reason to exploit family tragedies for his dirty, cynical political games - stated Adam Bielan at a press briefing.

16:20

President Duda: New VAT Matrix on July 1st – A Real Discount on Our Everyday Expenses

- On July 1st, ladies and gentlemen, a new VAT matrix comes into effect, which is a new way of determining VAT for individual goods. This is to simplify VAT calculation for entrepreneurs. This is to simplify VAT settlement for entrepreneurs, but most importantly, it introduces a unification of rates for certain products. A reorganization, meaning a simplification of the VAT system, and consequently, a reduction of VAT on a range of products. For example, until now, bread and pastries were subject to three different taxes, depending on the circumstances: 5%, 8%, 23%. We paid differently. Now, for all bread and pastries, we will pay a 5% VAT. This is a real discount in our daily expenses. Citrus fruits were taxed at an 8% VAT rate, they will be taxed at 5%. In general, fruits were subject to various VAT rates. Now they will be taxed at a 5% rate. What else? Personal hygiene products, this issue particularly concerns ladies, mothers at home, etc., girls. Personal hygiene products, sanitary pads, panty liners, tampons, the rate from now on will be reduced to 5% VAT. These are real savings on expenses, which almost every woman incurs for this purpose. The same applies to adult diapers, yes, it's true that some of us may need to use them sometimes. VAT on these will also be reduced, but not only that, it will also be reduced on diapers for children and baby products - said President Andrzej Duda in Czarnków.

16:20

PMM:

Our Actions Demonstrate We Fight for the Better Fate of Ordinary Poles, Every Ordinary Family
Certainly, everyone can make mistakes, but through our actions, we are demonstrating that we are fighting for the better fate of ordinary Poles, of every ordinary family. That we are fighting for there to be as many jobs as possible in Poland, here in Włodawa, an important district, in Lubelszczyzna, Podlasie, Mazovia, and across all of Poland. They are indeed being created through initiatives and stories like those I presented to you today, which are authentic accounts from recent days. Gazprom, EU negotiations, and international financial markets. In all these areas, our government, together with the President, has achieved a noticeable success – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Włodawa.

16:24

PAD:

They Voted Against Lowering the Retirement Age, and Their Candidate Lies Today, Claiming He Didn't Vote Then
When I submitted the bill to lower the retirement age, as you wished in 2015, as you demanded of me, when I submitted the bill to lower the retirement age, they voted against lowering the retirement age, and their candidate today lies, claiming he didn't vote then. Only then did people have to remind him and show him that he was present at the vote and was against it - said President Andrzej Duda in Czarnków.

16:25

PMM:

Trzaskowski's Party Raised Taxes, We Have the Most Evidence for It – I've Been Saying This for Days and No One Has Reacted or Denied It. Because It's the Truth

- Mr. Trzaskowski's party took half the money from the Open Pension Funds from people. Remember this. Not so long ago. Let us remind everyone, including the voters in the first round for Mr. Trzaskowski, Mr. Kosiniak-Kamysz, Mr. Hołownia. Mr. Trzaskowski's party raised taxes, we have the most evidence for it, which I've been talking about since yesterday and somehow no one has reacted, no one has denied it. Because it is the truth that they raised taxes, and we lowered each of these major taxes, and as of today, reduced VAT rates apply to several hundred products - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Włodawa.

16:51

Trzaskowski and Hołownia Held a Video Chat: "I Will Adopt Postulates That Align with My Philosophy and Can Declare Loyalty to Them"

„I would really like this meeting to help us form an opinion, to clearly tell those who are still hesitating, who have not yet made a decision, what views the presidential candidates have on this matter. One of them proposed such a meeting, opened this conversation. That's good” - said the leader of the Poland 2050 movement, Szymon Hołownia.

„My idea is to listen to what the opposition candidates are saying. There are more candidates who are in favor of change, and I will adopt the postulates that align with the philosophy I represent, and I can declare that I will remain loyal to them, because that is exactly what we are aiming for: no more pushing legislation through at night, no need to amend and improve laws seven times” - said the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate, the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski.

Trzaskowski:

It used to be 27 to 1, now it's 10 to 1, because there were ten opposition candidates, and if we all unite our forces, we will absolutely win

- It's very close, and the most important thing is that a huge majority of Polish women and men, 57%, have opted for change. We have a chance for this real change. I remember perfectly that two months ago we were all worried about tomorrow, about health, we worried about safety; today we still worry about health and safety, but energy has entered us. We are truly mobilized to win these elections. The most important thing, listen, is that while it used to be 27 to 1, now it's 10 to 1, because there were as many as ten opposition candidates, and today, if we all unite our forces, we will absolutely win - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Piła.

Trzaskowski:

I Don't Know If You've Heard The Prime Minister Lately Talking About What Happened 13 Years Ago. He Nostalgically Recalls Times When He Worked With Tusk. He Probably Misses It A Little.

- Today, we've all had enough of these disputes that were settled long ago. I don't know if you've heard the Prime Minister lately, how the Prime Minister has been talking about what happened 13 years ago. Because he constantly nostalgically recalls the times when he worked with Donald Tusk. He probably misses it a little. He constantly recalls the times when he was a banker, when life was calmer for him - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Piła.

Trzaskowski:

Mr. President, don't be afraid. Let's have a debate where we can discuss the future, where you can be asked questions. Enough of these staged shows on TVP Info.
We should be talking about the future, not about what has been. And we deserve such a debate. Mr. President, I am addressing you, the President of the only rightful political option. Mr. President, don't be afraid. Let's have a debate where we can discuss the future, where you can be asked questions. Enough of these staged shows on TVP Info. I am asking you very much for this - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Piła.

17:31

Trzaskowski to President: Sir, you were in the Freedom Union, okay, I understand. It's worth talking about, as we return to the past.

- Mr. President Andrzej Duda. Let us recall those times. You were in the Freedom Union, okay, I understand. Very well. It is worth talking about, as we return to the past. The Prime Minister cooperated with Prime Minister Tusk. I understand this nostalgia. Let us recall that it was during those times that the largest sums of money from the European Union were negotiated - said Rafał Trzaskowski in Piła.

Biedroń's Campaign Head: I am Concerned by Trzaskowski's Staff's Recent Moves, Which Seem to Be So Eagerly Seeking Mr. Bosak's Favor
- Rafał Trzaskowski must maintain this vote of confidence from the left-wing electorate, but he will not achieve this if he excessively courts votes from Konfederacja, because Konfederacja and the far-right, and the left, which will always stand guard over human rights, human dignity, and civil liberties – these are simply divergent matters. Therefore, frankly speaking, I am concerned by the recent moves of Trzaskowski's staff, which seem to be so eagerly seeking Mr. Bosak's favor – said Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, the head of Robert Biedroń's campaign.

Gowin:

No Doubt in the Second Round, We Choose Between a Decidedly Better Candidate – Duda – and a Decidedly Worse One – Trzaskowski
I have no doubt that in this second round, we have a choice between a decidedly better candidate – President Duda – and a decidedly worse candidate – Rafał Trzaskowski. And it's not just about Andrzej Duda being the candidate I support, that we share views on many matters. It's about the state's interest. The election of Rafał Trzaskowski will mean three years of constant war – said Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on the program „Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat News.

Gowin:

There is No Plan for a Presidential Party

- There is no plan for a presidential party. However, Poles today need stability. They need the government and all state institutions to focus on two goals. Fighting the epidemic and fighting its economic consequences. Saving jobs, saving Polish companies. And now, Andrzej Duda's choice guarantees such stability – said Jarosław Gowin on Polsat News.

Gowin:

Hołownia Also Received Votes from Voters I Would Call the Moderate Right. For Them, a Politician as Left-Wing as Trzaskowski is Unacceptable.

- Returning to Szymon Hołownia. He also received votes from voters I would call the moderate right. These voters, discouraged by both PiS and Civic Platform, voted for Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Paweł Kukiz's Polish Coalition in 2019. Now they have shifted their support to Szymon Hołownia. In my opinion, for them, a politician as left-wing as Rafał Trzaskowski is unacceptable - Jarosław Gowin said on Polsat News.

Szumowski:

We Want to Propose a Solution That Allows People Over 60, Pregnant Women, Those with Young Children, or the Disabled to Enter Polling Stations Without Queuing

- Looking at the behavior of Poles at polling stations, looking at this sanitary regime, the waiting to enter the polling station, I am convinced that going to the polls is safer than going to the store, and I think one can truly go to these elections with full conviction. Moreover, considering these queues that formed at the polling stations, we want to propose a solution that will allow people over 60, pregnant women, those with young children, or the disabled to enter these polling stations without queuing, so they don't have to stand in the sun or rain. I believe these elections are proceeding calmly, safely, and there is truly nothing to fear – stated Łukasz Szumowski in an interview with Michał Adamczyk on TVP Info's "Gość Wiadomości".
