Bielan:

There is significant mobilization. I believe it's a manifestation of the very strong emotions that have emerged in this campaign

- Our supporters are chanting this [First round, first round]. It's difficult for us to censor them. There is significant mobilization. I believe it's a manifestation of the very strong emotions that have emerged in this election campaign. I am pleased that at meetings with President Duda, regardless of the weather or time of day, yesterday we were in Radom where it was raining heavily, we were in the middle of a weekday when many people are at work, and over 1,000 people came. So, regardless of where the President appears, he is already on his feet today, we have had further meetings and visits from the President since 6:00 AM, and crowds of people are coming, and I can only be happy about that - stated Adam Bielan in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

07:57

Bielan on Kantar Poll: 'I am very skeptical and take all polls with a large distance'

- I am very skeptical and take all polls with a large distance. I've been saying this for months. Regardless of whether the polls give us a certain victory in the first round, as was the case just a dozen or so weeks ago, or if they show a more even fight and the necessity of a second round. In this poll that you [Kantar] conducted, there is one thing that is puzzling. It's a very sharp drop for Rafał Trzaskowski. By 16%, by 5 percentage points. I think this is a problem for Trzaskowski's campaign team, but in reality, we must wait not for further polls, which there will likely be a flood of today, but for election day - stated Adam Bielan in TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

08:01

Bielan:

We are fighting for victory, but whether that victory will be by a margin of 1 percentage point or 6 or 7, it no longer has much significance.

Bielan: We are fighting for victory, but whether that victory will be by a margin of 1 percentage point or 6 or 7, it no longer has much significance

- Of course, in this campaign, we are running to win. We are not among, President Duda is not among those candidates who are running simply to achieve a good result, to show themselves. We are fighting for victory, but whether that victory will be by a margin of 1 percentage point or 6 or 7, it no longer has much significance - stated Adam Bielan in "One on One" on TVN24.

08:22

Bielan:

PAD's Offer is for All Poles

- Undoubtedly, President Duda's offer is directed at all Poles, regardless of whether they wish to vote for one party or another today, or whether they support this or that candidate in the first round. Our program is known, President Duda's achievements during his first term are known. If there is a second round, there will also be a clear choice between President Duda and his opponent, and I believe that on this basis, all voters who vote for someone else in the first round will make decisions on whom to potentially support in the second round, should it occur - stated Adam Bielan in "Jeden na jeden" on TVN24.

Szumowski on Polling Stations: I am convinced that in their own interest, the commission will discipline individuals who wish to enter in larger groups or not wear masks

- In a polling station, there is an election commission, the head of the election commission, and they are responsible for ensuring all these norms are followed. I am convinced that in their own interest, the commission will discipline individuals who wish to enter in larger groups or not wear masks - said Łukasz Szumowski in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on the "Political Salon" of Polish Radio's Trójka.

-[The voter] should demand that these sanitary requirements are observed - the minister added.

08:35

Szumowski:

If the situation becomes difficult in autumn, some restrictions may return. However, certainly not in the full form we had, because the economy would not withstand a second lockdown.

- If the situation becomes difficult in autumn, if this second wave proves difficult, then some of these restrictions may return. However, certainly not in the full form we had, because simply the economy would not withstand a second lockdown, and consequently, we would also have a drama in healthcare - said Łukasz Szumowski on Radio Trójka.

Tomczyk:

Trzaskowski's Main Competitor Has Not Presented a Full Program. 15 Pages of Typescript on Duda's Website is a Mockery of Voters

We were supposed to present the program yesterday in Płock. Unfortunately, due to what happened in Warsaw, everything has changed. This is Rafał Trzaskowski's program – 'New Solidarity' – which anyone can read and draw their own conclusions. I visited Andrzej Duda's website today and found 15 pages. I don't know if this can be called Andrzej Duda's election program. It contains program assumptions, a few theses, but there is nothing that can be strictly called a program, a complete program that everyone can pick up and draw conclusions from. Rafał Trzaskowski's main competitor has not presented a full program, and I want that to be clear. 15 pages of typescript on Duda's website is a mockery of voters” – said Cezary Tomczyk, Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign manager from Civic Coalition, in an interview with Krzysztof Skórzyński on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden" (One on One).

08:55

Tomczyk:

Polls Today Suggest We Simply Need Full Mobilization

I believe that the polls today show that full mobilization is simply necessary. I wanted to invite everyone from this place to Plac Zamkowy at 6 PM, where there will be a symbolic closing of the campaign, although Rafał Trzaskowski will have activities until the very night. Today we will be in Modlin, Płońsk, Warsaw, Międzyborów, and we will conclude with a special mobilizing event at the end” – said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition, the campaign manager for Rafał Trzaskowski, on TVN24.

08:58

Tomczyk:

This May Be Our Last Chance as a Nation to Bring About Change in Poland Over the Next 10 Years. PiS is Preparing a Harsh Course Post-Election, Similar to Hungary's, and Polish Democracy May Not Survive.

The pen, which became a symbol of Andrzej Duda’s ineffectiveness, is today in the hands of Polish citizens. The final outcome will depend on each of you” - said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition, head of Rafał Trzaskowski’s campaign staff, on TVN24.

This may be our last chance as a nation to bring about change in Poland over the next 10 years. The last chance because we know that PiS is preparing, if – God forbid – they win these elections – a harsh course, similar to the one adopted in Hungary, and democracy in Poland may simply not defend itself. This is the last chance” - he added.

08:59

Tomczyk:

I'd like to thank all competitors and campaigns for fair play. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Duda's campaign, the lost court case, or what happened at TVP.
I want to very warmly thank all the competitors for this fight, because we may often differ with competitors on the opposition's side, but today the very fact that these competitors and we ourselves are working hard until the very end guarantees that the turnout in these elections will be high. It must be high, because Poles deserve change. I would like to thank all competitors and campaigns for fair play. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about Andrzej Duda's campaign, the lost court case, or what happened at TVP. I cannot thank them for that” – said Cezary Tomczyk from Civic Coalition, head of Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign, on TVN24.

PAD's Campaign Team Launches Website with Spot:

Rafał, Don't Lie

In the final stretch of the campaign, President Duda's campaign team has launched the website programtrzaskowskiego.pl, featuring the spot "Rafał nie kłam" (Rafał, Don't Lie) and a redirect to the site rafalnieklam.pl.

Our sources explain that the inspiration for launching the website was the online publication of the KO candidate's program. - *It doesn't matter what Trzaskowski has in his program. The situation is as we show in the spot – he changes his mind, he lies, he doesn't keep his word* – says one of PAD's key campaign team members.

Interestingly, the domain is highly ranked in Google searches – it appears as the first result when typing "Rafał Trzaskowski" or "Trzaskowski program".

Biedroń:

'Precarious Contracts' Amplified by PO and PiS Governments, Symbolizing a State of Contempt We Must Change

- For years, people have been saying they lack housing. Three million people in Poland are without a roof over their heads. And they were given a prescription: change your job, take out a loan. And people tried to change jobs, but they still couldn't get a loan because their work was simply low-paid, it was on precarious contracts, which were so amplified by the right-wing governments, whether from PO or PiS, that today we have three million people working on these precarious contracts, and this is a symbol of the state of contempt that the Polish right-wing has built. We must change this – said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Krakow.

Mucha:

Trzaskowski's Program is a Hodgepodge of Loose Sheets and Ideas, Full of Errors. Unfulfilled Warsaw Promises and Inappropriately Copied Solutions, Some Already Implemented. This is Not Serious.
I've reviewed this document [Rafał Trzaskowski's program] and there are already a lot of critical comments and signals indicating that it's a hodgepodge of loose sheets and ideas, and this hodgepodge of loose sheets and various ideas also contains very many errors. We already have numerous statements from experts in specific fields, including Prime Minister Gliński's post regarding the situation of taxing creators, but there are many substantive, detailed elements that show that it partly consists of unfulfilled Warsaw promises as the Mayor of Warsaw, put forward by candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, and partly consists of things that quite inappropriately attempt to copy certain solutions, or even solutions that have already been implemented. So, this is not a serious way of treating voters when, 24 hours before the elections, you present... rightly so, 30 hours before the elections, if you present, speaking figuratively of course, I haven't tracked the exact hour, but one way or another, this kind of situation or approach to elections, where plans for the presidency are only discussed in the final hours of the campaign, means that this casualness, characteristic of Rafał Trzaskowski, who doesn't remember if he was an MP or if he voted against lowering the retirement age, is a lack of attachment to Polish matters – stated Paweł Mucha in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

10:06

Biedroń:

We are divided as never before. Some groups, some people, are called not human. This is why we must say adieu to President Duda

- We are divided as never before. Some groups, some people, are called not human, and that is a disgrace. Especially when it is said by the President of the Republic of Poland. This is why we must say adieu, goodbye to President Duda - said Robert Biedroń during a press conference in Krakow.

10:11

Czarzasty:

We Treat the Presidential Election as a Long March. A Long March to Power

I appreciate Biedroń for being consistent. I appreciate Biedroń for having a defined value system. We treat the presidential election as a long march. A long march to power. A long march to co-governance in order to implement our ideas, so that Poland is tolerant – said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a press conference in Krakow.

10:15

Czarzasty:

To All the Pigs Connecting Biedroń and Duda in Any Way This Past Week, I Condemn You and Call You What I Should

- To all the pigs connecting Biedroń and Duda in any way this past week, at this moment I condemn you and call you what I should. Various things can happen to the Left. Sometimes we were foolish, sometimes we were wise. But we were never with Kaczyński and we were never with Duda - said Włodzimierz Czarzasty during a press conference in Krakow.

10:21

Zandberg:

We Will Not Make Deals with Fascists, We Will Not Court Bosak, Because Democracy and Human Rights Are Values That Are Not For Sale

- One must have courage, not pretend not to have views. But this applies to many matters. It applies to human rights. Some say about us, you on the left are radicals. We reply, yes, we are radically on the side of human rights and we will not back down on the issue of human rights. We will not make deals with fascists, we will not court Mr. Bosak, we will not court Konfederacja, because democracy and human rights are values that are not for sale. You simply stand on their side - said Adrian Zandberg during a press conference in Krakow.

Duda's Online Operation Echoes Obama's Project Narwhal: Dozens of Target Groups, 1709 Google Ads, 820 on FB. A Micro-Targeted Online Campaign of Unprecedented Scale in Poland
Andrzej Duda's campaign team conducted an online micro-targeting operation on a scale previously unseen in Poland. The combination of big data analysis and social media platforms like Facebook, along with video platforms like YouTube, allowed for a personalized campaign akin to a local election effort. Modern micro-targeting was first introduced by Karl Rove in George W. Bush's campaign, albeit through local cable TV where commercials were tailored to voter expectations, primarily for so-called Hispanics. Barack Obama's political operation elevated micro-targeting to a new level. Project Narwhal provided an advantage over Mitt Romney's campaign, to which Republicans attempted to respond with Project Orca, under the assumption that killer whales were the only predators threatening narwhals. However, the narwhal's tusk proved more effective in this context. Andrzej Duda's campaign team set records for the number of micro-targeted advertising messages: 1709 ads on Google Ads and another 820 on Facebook Ads. These were differentiated not only based on demographic factors and thematic profiling but also featured graphical creatives tailored to specific audiences. Piotr Trudnowski from the Jagiellonian Club was the first to draw attention to the scale of micro-targeting used in Duda's campaign: https://twitter.com/pio_tru/status/1273892935734571008?s=20 The online strategists in Duda's campaign leveraged the fact that during his term, he visited all 380 counties and county towns in the country, a feat unmatched by any previous presidency. His team is capitalizing on this through hundreds of geo-targeted micro-campaigns configured on the Facebook Ads platform. The decision was made to use photos from the president's visits to these locations in the advertisements. The internet activities – both on the Google advertising network and social media – of the incumbent president's campaign were based on highly precise messages targeted to specific groups identified by Andrzej Duda's (AD) online strategists as crucial for his re-election. Several dozen such groups were identified. On one hand, this includes the so-called hard PiS electorate – residents of small and medium-sized towns, beneficiaries of social programs implemented by the right-wing camp over the past five years. On the other hand, it encompasses undecided voters who could be key, especially in the context of a potential second round of elections. The campaign addresses young people under 26 from small and medium-sized towns differently (emphasizing the reduction of personal income tax to 0% and job creation) compared to, for example, the aspirational electorate aged 35-55 from large cities (who are more attracted to the economic development of recent years and the quality of the healthcare system). The president's strategists focused on different issues when communicating with seniors (13th pension, lowering retirement age), parents up to 35 years old (500+, Maluch+, social programs), and entrepreneurs who are most likely to have suffered from the coronavirus pandemic (lowest corporate income tax in Europe, well-received PFR financial shield). Reports on political ad impressions indicate that ads related to Andrzej Duda's electoral committee are among the most popular in the current period, as shown by Google's political advertising transparency report. The Sotrender report indicated that the president's re-election campaign spent the least in terms of cost per individual voter reached, thanks to effective targeting.

Trzaskowski:

Government Talks of Building One of the World's Largest Airports, Yet Regional Airports Face Threats with No Government Support

- It is very important that I can be here. Unfortunately, I have a growing impression that the government is behaving like a classic dog in the manger. It supports only and exclusively those initiatives that it has planned itself, while initiatives that are organized from start to finish by local government in cooperation with the government unfortunately cannot count on support. The government talks about building one of the largest airports in the world. Unfortunately, not much is happening there yet. However, at a time when regional airports, which generate 60% of all traffic in Poland, are under threat, the government unfortunately does nothing to help them. What's more, even when the local government wants to recapitalize the airport, as is the case here, government companies do not want to agree to it. In Poland today, just as we are emerging from the coronavirus, investments are needed here and now. Protection of every job is needed. Here at Modlin Airport, 250 people work, but 1700 passes are issued, and several thousand people make their living from this airport. Today, all expert studies indicate that these regional airports, especially after the epidemic, will be incredibly important for the development of air traffic, but also for regional development. Hence the clear appeal to support investments here and now, as in my program, rather than gigantomania that may or may not come to fruition someday, and may never materialize. And from this place today, we must ask about the future of LOT, because all governments at this moment are negotiating with the European Commission for support for their national carriers. The PiS government talked a lot about economic patriotism, but when it comes to supporting jobs, as is the case here at Modlin Airport, and supporting our national carrier, we unfortunately do not hear about plans to save these companies that build our national pride - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Modlin.

Trzaskowski:

All Polls Show One Thing. Without Absolute, Total Mobilization, It Will Be Very Difficult to Win These Elections, and This Was Clear from the Very Beginning. Today There is a Chance for Real Change

- The polls in recent weeks have been very good, but polls are primarily meant to stimulate hard work, and we need enormous mobilization and energy on Sunday, and I hope that all polls show one thing above all. Namely, that without absolute, total mobilization, it will be very difficult to win these elections, and this has been clear from the very beginning. Just a month ago, everyone assumed President Duda would definitely win these elections. Today there is a chance for real change, but I cannot bring about this change alone. Citizens must bring it about by turning out in large numbers at the ballot boxes on Sunday. The sooner the better. And most importantly - these elections are truly elections that can decide a completely different future. Elections like these happen once in a generation, and that is why they are so incredibly important - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Modlin.

- I have not commented on other candidates on the opposition side, because I believe we have exactly the same task. Simply to mobilize all citizens who want to vote for us and ensure they turn out in large numbers at the ballot boxes - he continued.

11:28

President Duda: If You Want Us to Resolve These Elections in the First Round, Please Go Vote and Encourage Others

- If you, the citizens, want us to resolve these elections in the first round, then I very much ask that you go to the polls, and secondly, that you encourage your families, acquaintances, and friends to do the same - said President Andrzej Duda in Mikstat.

President Duda on Average Salary: Experts Project Reaching €1800 by 2025 at Current Growth Rate
Experts calculate that if we continue to develop at the same pace as before, meaning 4.3% of GDP annually, then ladies and gentlemen, we will reach approximately €1800 by 2025. This, of course, will be a conversion from zlotys, as we will still be earning in Polish zlotys. I guarantee this to you, because I believe that the discussion and the possibility of changing the zloty to the euro can only begin when the country is earning at a level comparable to wealthy countries in Western Europe - said President Andrzej Duda in Mikstat.

11:38

President Duda: We Cannot Pursue a Policy of Sacrificing Large Investments for Local Ones; These Are Not Times of Scarcity Where We Must Choose Between a Coat or Shoes for Winter
We must pursue a decisive and bold policy. And it cannot be a policy where we say, 'No, we are in favour of local investments, so we will not carry out these large ones.' No, ladies and gentlemen. These are not times of scarcity, where we have to decide whether to buy a coat or shoes for winter. Everyone knows that both a coat and shoes are needed – said President Andrzej Duda in Mikstat.

11:53

Tomczyk:

We Demand PAD's Financial Disclosure Be Published. We Give Him 12 Hours

- 12 hours before the election silence, Andrzej Duda has not published a crucial document. He has not published his financial disclosure statement. Voters have the right to know; financial disclosure statements were invented to combat corruption at the highest levels of power. If the president does not want to show his financial disclosure, it may turn out he has something to hide. We demand the publication of President Duda's financial disclosure statement. We give him 12 hours for this. That is, until the start of the election silence - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing in front of the Presidential Palace.

- We will submit a bill, which was actually already submitted in the previous term, a bill that will oblige the president, the prime minister, as well as government members and all the most important people in the state to publish their financial disclosure statements - he continued.

12:06

Trzaskowski:

No Matter What Rulers Say, Even If They Try to Attack You, We Will Not Let the Prestige of Teachers Be Destroyed

No matter what the rulers say, even if they try to attack you, we will not let the prestige [of teachers] be destroyed. I am directing these words to all teachers. You have absolutely earned our admiration, especially in these recent weeks and months. At a time of chaos related to entering the epidemic, when the government was making its first decisions, but also when there were irrational decisions, when local governments were often left to their own devices, when we were told about recommendations without consulting us, you were the first, on the front line, to organize yourselves” – said in Płońsk the KO presidential candidate, the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski.

12:32

Bielan:

In Our Opinion, Trzaskowski's Program Was Revealed at the Last Minute So Experts Couldn't Expose Its Numerous Factual Errors

Rafał Trzaskowski didn't even have the courage to present this program at a press conference to answer journalists' questions. In our opinion, this program was revealed at the last minute so that experts couldn't show how many factual errors are in this document. In just a few hours, we found a multitude of errors, shortcomings, and things that are missing from the program but, in our opinion, should be included” – said PiS MEP Adam Bielan, spokesperson for Andrzej Duda's campaign staff, at a press conference.

12:35

Kanthak:

Andrzej Duda's Program is Not Just Words. It's Deeds. Andrzej Duda's Presidency is Not Just Good Change. It's Real Change

Andrzej Duda's program is not just words. It's deeds. Andrzej Duda's presidency is not just good change. It's real change. All social programs that have been implemented, all of this has been possible thanks to President Andrzej Duda and thanks to limiting, blocking the outflow of 50 billion zlotys annually from VAT fraud” - said Jan Kanthak from the PiS club at a press conference.

Trzaskowski's Program Lacks a Single Sentence on 13th and 14th Pensions

Attention, pensioners! [Rafał Trzaskowski]’s program does not contain a single sentence on the 13th and 14th pensions. We all know how important this program is. We all know how many millions of pensioners have benefited from it. Unfortunately, there is no declaration of intent to maintain this program. I cannot imagine liquidating it, and Rafał Trzaskowski’s program has no mention of it” – said Deputy Minister Waldemar Buda from PiS at a press conference.

We Did Our Job. Our Opponents Presented Their Programs. One Main Opponent Three Weeks Before the Election, The Second Main Opponent Yesterday, Very Intensely Inspired by Our Program

We did our job. Our opponents presented their programs. One main opponent three weeks before the election, the second main opponent yesterday, very intensely inspired by our program, which we have been demonstrating since this morning. Do you want to be treated like this? How much longer will we allow ourselves to be treated this way? Like cannon fodder, like an electorate that can be moved from place to place” – said presidential candidate Szymon Hołownia.

TVP Employee Detained by Police for Physical Aggression Towards Trzaskowski's Campaign Staffer

Sławomir Nitras, a prominent Polish politician, shared on Twitter that a TVP (Polish Television) employee was apprehended by police for physically assaulting a member of Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign team. The tweet included a link to a Twitter post, presumably containing further details or evidence of the incident.

President Duda: These Elections are About Poland's Future. I Want to Support Polish Families, to Ensure They Live as Well as Possible.

- These elections are about what Poland will be like in the future. I want to continue the policy that I have been implementing over the past few years. I want to support Polish families, I want to act so that Polish families live as well as possible. I want to act so that Poland becomes an increasingly prosperous country, so that people in our country live at a standard comparable to Western Europe – said President Andrzej Duda in Krzepice.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

I Invite Everyone to Cooperate. From Konfederacja, through Civic Platform, The Left, PiS, and My Own Circle. There Will Be a Minister from Each of These Groups in the President's Chancellery

- If everyone will have a dignified place at the table, and I invite everyone to cooperate in the President's Chancellery, all political groupings. I will appoint a minister from Konfederacja, through Civic Platform, The Left, and PiS, and my own circle. There will be a minister from each of these groupings in the President's Chancellery - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Rzeszów.

Kosiniak-Kamysz:

In the first round, there is no lesser evil. There's no point calculating who will win or not. You have to bet on the one you believe in.

My dear friends, less than 12 hours remain. But this is still a lot of time to convince 5, 10, 15, 50, 100 people each of us. To dare. Not to succumb to the pressure that you can only choose from two. No, there are truly many possibilities. In the first round, there is no lesser evil. There's no point calculating who will win or not. You have to bet on the one you believe in. – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Rzeszów.

PMM at Legia Training Center: Polish Football Has a Glorious Past. Looking at Institutions Like This That Develop Players, I See an Even Brighter Future for Polish Football

- Polish football has a glorious past. Looking at institutions like this, which develop players, I see that an even brighter future lies ahead for Polish football - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at Legia Training Center.

- I am convinced that thanks to such centers, we will be able to create ever better infrastructure for player development and achieve victories on the European stage - he continued.

- 2.5 billion in investment - we did not slow down during the pandemic. 0.5 billion PLN for sports investments, certification of academies - 5,000 clubs. In all communes and districts, 5,000 clubs have received support in recent weeks - the Prime Minister emphasized.

- This is our path to the success of Polish sport - through investments, infrastructure, coaches - in order to reach the hearts of young athletes, so that they can achieve success later on - he continued.

Biedroń:

Poland Needs a Champion for the Common Person, Who Will Build Nurseries and Kindergartens Instead of More Temples and Churches, and Foster Community Instead of Dividing People into 'Better' and 'Worse' Sorts

I decided to run precisely because today Poland needs someone who will be a champion for the common person, someone who, instead of building more temples and churches, will start building nurseries and kindergartens, someone who, instead of dividing people into a 'better' and 'worse' sort, will start building a community. Today Poland needs someone who will not spin tales about building the Central Communication Port (CPK), but will start talking about and doing what is needed, that is, building low-rent housing,” stated the Left candidate for president, MEP Robert Biedroń, at a press conference in Warsaw.

15:31

Morawiecki:

Trzaskowski is backed by the same people who failed Poland. Same marketing tricks, same operating mechanisms, same political advisors. Trzaskowski is Tusk's protégé.

- Without Andrzej Duda's victory in 2020, all of this might not be here either. Because Mr. Trzaskowski is backed by the same people who previously failed to take care of Poland. The same marketing tricks. The same operating mechanisms. The same political advisors. Mr. Trzaskowski is Mr. Tusk's protégé. Mr. Trzaskowski knows how to use these tricks. He can, in one sentence, talk about PiS's social policy as his own. Yet, just a moment ago, he called our social programs a budgetary catastrophe, a giveaway. Only to later say that in the years 2007-2015, Civic Platform allocated even more money to social policy. Do you understand any of this, ladies and gentlemen? I understand very little. How can you criticize on the one hand that they are so generous and it's already close to a budgetary catastrophe, which doesn't exist, because the budget is in the best possible shape, compared to their years, for many, many years. But then, at the same time, say that in their time, this policy was more generous. So, the same rhetoric as in previous years, before 2015. The same brutal attacks on our candidate, President Duda. Mr. President, we are with you. And these are the same people in disguise, Mr. Trzaskowski is Mr. Tusk's protégé, but only the set design and makeup change, but these are the same demands, to have it like it was, to return to those times – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Pruszków.

15:38

Morawiecki:

It Was Andrzej Duda Who Elevated Poland, and Continues to Elevate the Standard of Living for All Poles

- It was Andrzej Duda who elevated Poland, and continues to elevate the standard of living, the higher standard of living for all Poles. It is a source of pride that Poland joined the 25 most developed countries just recently, 2 years ago, during the president's term. This is no coincidence. He elevated Poland and continues to do so, while they raised the retirement age and taxes. Let's not let those times return - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Pruszków.

We Must Not Be Lulled. We Cannot Allow It

- In order to continue the good change, the good times, this good period for Poland, we need to mobilize, we need every vote, because they are mobilized, and we are too lulled by these good times, because people quickly get used to good things. But we must not be lulled. We must not, we cannot allow it - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Pruszków.

Urszula Brzezińska-Hołownia: I Stand Before You as a Wife, Mother, a Guardian of Our State, a Citizen. If We Want Something New, We Must Choose Someone New

- I stand here before you today as a wife, the wife of a presidential candidate, the wife of a man who is honest, who is wise, who cares for his family. A man who looks at all of us not through the lens of who we are, where we come from, or what our beliefs are, but at every person, because we are all important - said Urszula Brzezińska-Hołownia during a joint appearance with her husband in Warsaw.

- I stand here before you as a mother. The mother of little Marysia. Like every mother, like every parent, I want the best for her. I want her to be safe, to be healthy, to be happy, and to be able to become whoever she wants to be, and this is only possible when we think of our future as a generation - she continued.

- I stand here before you as a person who has stood and continues to stand guard over our state, just like all of you. Because all of you care about us doing well, you care for your families, and the way you have engaged in Szymon's campaign shows, first, that you want this, and second, that it is worthwhile - she added.

- Finally, at the end, I stand here before you as a citizen. A citizen who will go to the polls on Sunday and cast her vote for Szymon. And I hope that all of you will vote for him. Because if we want something new, we must choose someone new. I am convinced that right here, at this moment, and thanks to you, we are witnessing a new beginning - stated Brzezińska-Hołownia.

Hołownia at the Campaign's Finale: 'This is Not the End of the Road. This is Its Beginning.'

This is not the end of the road. This is not the end of the journey. This is its beginning. From this journey, I wanted to give you back what is most valuable, and that is one discovery and one commitment. This road, which does not end here today but begins, because it is a new beginning that we are all witnessing, participants in. It started about 9 months ago, at the beginning of this path, Ula was beside me, to whom I first told about this idea” – said presidential candidate Szymon Hołownia in Warsaw.

Duda:

These Elections Are About Whether We'll Hear on TV That It Pays to Work in and for Poland, or That Nothing Does

- These elections are about what Poland will be like in the future and for whom this Poland will be. Will this Poland be for a broad spectrum of our citizens, our neighbors, those who live next to us, work hard every day, do their shopping, often leading very hard lives and doing difficult work, or will it be for some narrow elite who will feast at the expense of the rest of society. That's what these elections are about. These elections are about whether you will hear on television that it pays to work in Poland and for Poland, or that nothing pays, that it doesn't pay to maintain Polish shipyards, Polish LOT airlines, that nothing pays, it's best to sell them, and best of all, you know to whom. I say: no, we will buy them. You will see – stated President Andrzej Duda in Rybnik.

Traczyk-Stawska at Trzaskowski's Rally: 'I Lived Through Two Uprisings. One Ended in Tragedy and Broke Out in Defense of Human Dignity. Germans Believed We Weren't Human, and No One Should Ever Allow That.'

- I lived through two uprisings. One, which ended in a terrible tragedy, and broke out in defense of our human dignity. Germans believed we were not human, that we were sub-human, and no one should ever allow that, that someone is not treated as a human being worthy of respect - said Wanda Traczyk-Stawska, a Warsaw Uprising insurgent, at Rafał Trzaskowski's rally.

- Go and vote, remember the first uprising ended in tragedy. But it instilled in each of us a duty, and every one of us insurgents has a duty to speak about the fact that we are people who are worthy of respect. Every person, regardless of their preferences, their religion, their material conditions, their sexual needs, every person is worthy of respect - she added.

18:39

Trzaskowski:

If Someone Truly Cares About Family, They Shouldn't Destroy Education or Attack Teachers. They Shouldn't Ruin Our Children's Chances.

- If someone truly wants to care for their family, they shouldn't destroy education, they shouldn't attack teachers. They shouldn't write off our children's chances. Today, ladies and gentlemen, Poles have no complexes, and therefore we don't need a government that is constantly dealing with its own complexes - said Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally in Warsaw.

18:42

Trzaskowski:

Today, if anything is a threat to family and patriotism, it is absolute power that constantly tries to divide us and seek an enemy.
Today, if anything is a threat to family and patriotism, it is absolute power that constantly tries to divide us and seek an enemy. It incessantly tries to find an enemy in everyone who thinks differently, looks different, is insubordinate, or asks this power difficult questions. And we have had enough of that - stated Rafał Trzaskowski on Castle Square in Warsaw.

18:48

Trzaskowski:

"We Need to Talk About Something Else – We're Fighting for the Next 5 Years, Not the Ones That Have Long Passed"
I've been asked very often lately about one Warsaw resident, Chairman Kaczyński, who has been talking so much about freedom recently. And I'll tell you one thing: I'm simply fed up with talking about Jarosław Kaczyński. I'm fed up with politicians who are constantly engaged in some kind of fight that should have ended long ago. They are constantly fighting a shadow, they look to the past. We don't need politicians like that, and I understand that so many of us are simply tired of these old disputes, these same discussions. Maybe we should really talk about something else, because today we are fighting for the presidency for the next 5 years, not for those 5, 10 years that have long passed – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at Castle Square in Warsaw.

18:49

Trzaskowski:

We Realized Together That Poland Needs a Strong President Who Makes Rational Decisions But Vetoes Hate Speech. This Realization is Our Huge Victory

Dignity is paramount. Even if the wind blows in our face, we will still fight for Poland to change. To truly change, and change for the better. Today, we have realized together that Poland needs a strong president who will keep a close eye on the authorities, who will introduce balance, who will cooperate with the government where the government makes rational decisions, but who will firmly veto hate speech, who will not allow us to be divided, who will stimulate the government to act. The fact that we have realized this is already our huge victory” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, at a rally on Warsaw’s Castle Square.

18:49

Trzaskowski:

I Understand That This Silent Part of Our Society Showed Its Resistance and Its 'No' to Dividing Us, to Constant Squabbles
“I understand that this silent part of our society showed its resistance and its ‘no’ to dividing us, to these constant squabbles. I hope that this time a significant majority of us will go to these elections, because these elections will be absolutely groundbreaking, that we will all meet at the ballot boxes, as soon as possible, in the morning, on June 28, and change Poland,” said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition’s presidential candidate and the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, at a rally on Warsaw’s Castle Square.

18:50

Trzaskowski:

Today We Need Positive Patriotism. Patriotism That Builds. Patriotism That Fosters the Right Attitudes, Openness, and Tolerance

- This government also tries to teach us what patriotism is. But I want to tell you one thing: yes, we are all proud of the tradition of Polish patriotism, for example, the Warsaw Uprising, and we draw inspiration from it. And yes, patriotism, this patriotism of struggle is sometimes very necessary for us, but today, ladies and gentlemen, I have the impression that some people do not want to leave the trenches, as if they do not want to understand that today positive patriotism is needed. Patriotism that builds. Patriotism that fosters the right attitudes, openness, and tolerance. Patriotism that helps change our country. Patriotism, and I say this in Warsaw, a city open and tolerant for tens, hundreds of years. A city where a taxi driver can tell me, "Mr. President, I'll tell you honestly, I don't entirely agree with you, but what are they saying about you on that TV!" [parodying Warsaw dialect]. Because this is exactly Warsaw, defiant, proud, with a twinkle in its eye, which never allows anything to be imposed on it, and for that, I thank you – said Rafał Trzaskowski at a rally in Warsaw.

18:53

Trzaskowski:

Poland is One; We No Longer Want to Discuss the Third or Fourth Republic. We Want to Look to the Future, We Want a Decade of Peace Where Politicians Primarily Focus on Solving Problems.

- Poland is one; we no longer want to discuss the Third or Fourth Republic. We want to look to the future, we want a decade of peace where politicians primarily focus on solving problems, and today, amidst the pandemic, I will try to convince everyone, my colleagues, but also politicians from the ruling camp, to grant ourselves peace, a balance of power, and to get down to facing the real challenges of the future, saving jobs, fighting the climate crisis, fighting for equal opportunities in education, and in the fight for jobs – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at Castle Square in Warsaw.

19:27

President Duda: I Ask You to Mobilize for These Elections. They Are Incredibly Important. A Decision Must Be Made in Two Days.

- Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I ask for your support. I ask you to mobilize to go to these elections. They are incredibly important. A decision must be made in two days. Ladies and Gentlemen, let us have the strength to take with us, to persuade, to drive by car, so that our loved ones, acquaintances, friends, neighbours, everyone, go and vote - said President Andrzej Duda in Skoczów.

19:35

Witek's Address: Choosing a Candidate Decides Poland's Direction for the Next 5 Years. Will it be Growth, Security, and Family, or Something Else?

- Election time is a time for the most important decisions. Let's participate. Let's vote. Let's take our fate into our own hands. Let's not forfeit matters most important to us. Let's feel that someone else hasn't decided for us and our loved ones. We are all citizens. Every vote is equally important and needed - stated the Marshal of the Sejm in a televised address.

- Aware of the weight of our decisions, let's choose wisely. As we observe disturbing events in the streets of some European cities today, we realize what a precious gift harmonious coexistence is for all of us. The fact that we live and reside in a safe country today is also the result of electoral decisions, of every single vote. It has great power. Therefore, I ask: let's vote in such a way that we can look to the future with pride and courage - emphasized the Marshal of the Sejm. Below is the full text of the speech.

*****

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

A very important day lies before us. This coming Sunday, June 28th, we will be electing the President of the Republic of Poland. Free elections are a celebration of democracy. This is the moment when we confirm that we live in a democratic, law-abiding, and free state. We have a choice, and we can express it freely. This is our vote for how our country, our lives, and our future should look.

Although we differ in views and assessments, I am deeply convinced that in this democratic electoral act, we are always guided by the good of Poland. We have the right to see it differently, but it should always guide our decision. By choosing a specific candidate, we will decide how Polish affairs will be settled for the next 5 years. In which direction will we go? Will it be a path of development, security, and care for the family, or another direction? These are your decisions, citizens of a free and sovereign state, Poland. This vote is, and always should be, decisive.

These elections will take place in special circumstances. After the coronavirus pandemic, in the face of the fight to return to a new normality, to preserve jobs and the stability of our economy. The events of recent months will surely influence our choices. Having experienced these circumstances, we see much more sharply how much we, as a country and a nation, have achieved in recent years and how much we want to maintain the current level and conditions of our lives.

In these difficult and turbulent times, we need cooperation and mutual care. Courage in decisions, peace, and prudence in action. We see how important our health, stable work, and state support are. Having our own instruments for quick action. We also appreciate how important tradition, our history, experience, and the wisdom of the oldest generation are. How much the safety of our loved ones means to us. How much we need an effective and strong state. A government that thinks about and cares for the affairs of its citizens and pursues the interests of Poles here in the country, but also on the international stage.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

Election time is a time for the most important decisions. Let's participate. Let's vote. Let's take our fate into our own hands. Let's not forfeit matters most important to us. Let's feel that someone else hasn't decided for us and our loved ones. We are all citizens. Every vote is equally important and needed.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!

Aware of the weight of our decisions, let's choose wisely. As we observe disturbing events in the streets of some European cities today, we realize what a precious gift harmonious coexistence is for all of us. The fact that we live and reside in a safe country today is also the result of electoral decisions, of every single vote. It has great power. Therefore, I ask: let's vote in such a way that we can look to the future with pride and courage.

Let's go to the polls. The future of Poland is in our hands.

Hołownia:

'An Emotion Has Stirred at These Meetings for Two Days; I'm Not Arrogant to Say I'm Calm, but I Look Optimistically at the Outcome of This Competition'
- For two days now, such an emotion has stirred at these meetings that I don't want to arrogantly say I'm calm, but I look at the outcome of this competition with optimism. I am, of course, happy that I have an upward trend, that it's growing, but I see at the meetings that people have woken up. We had 360 meetings today, 15,000 door-to-door interactions; there might be surprises on Sunday – said Szymon Hołownia on Kropka nad I.

20:18

Morawiecki:

It Was a Fascinating Time. We Tried to Convince Poles of the President's Vision. I Want a Partner with Whom We Can Actually Exit a Crisis Quickly.

- No [I'm not tired of the campaign], it was a fascinating time, very important, crucial, a time when we tried to convince Poles of President Duda's vision. For me, it was also very important from the perspective that I want a partner with whom we can actually exit a crisis quickly. So these meetings with people, which always give me a lot, were something completely special this time because we live in special times – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

20:28

Hołownia:

We're Building a Social Movement, One Way or Another. After What I've Seen, There's No Other Way
- We're building a social movement, one way or another. After what I've seen, there's no other way. Yesterday, my wife and I were reminiscing, thinking that if we gathered 2,000 volunteers, that would be a massive achievement, and we gathered 15,000. We thought 2.5 million from public fundraising would be a lot, and we collected 7 million. Regarding Kukiz, please remember that he had a different election calendar, he had several months to leverage that success in the parliamentary elections, which is not the case now. The elections will happen, if PiS allows it, in three years, if Andrzej Duda wins, when I don't make it to the second round - said Szymon Hołownia in KNI.

20:29

Hołownia:

Trzaskowski Will Find It Much Harder Than I Would to Defeat Duda. PiS Will Repeat the 2005 Tactic: They'll Drag Out All the Old Demons from the Closets. I Would Be a Much Harder Candidate to Overrun.
- Rafał Trzaskowski will find it much harder than I would to defeat Andrzej Duda, not because he has personal shortcomings, because I have nothing against him, but he has a very large negative electorate; he has 22%, I have 3%. Besides, PiS will repeat the 2005 tactic. They are precisely prepared for this: a situation where Tusk won in the first round and lost in the second because PiS concocted the 'Wehrmacht grandfather' story. They will lead to such extreme polarization, they will drag out all the old demons from the closets and mobilize the PiS electorate to such an extent. I would be a much harder candidate to overrun - said Szymon Hołownia in KNI.

20:31

PM:

We Completely Fixed Trzaskowski's Ecological Disaster. We Paid for It. We Built a Pontoon Bridge

We completely fixed Mr. Trzaskowski's Czajka ecological, environmental disaster. We paid for it. We built a pontoon bridge, we installed additional bypass pipes solely to prevent [the disaster] from happening” - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Polsat News.

20:31

PM Morawiecki on Trzaskowski's Potential Victory: 'It Would Be a Grim, Very Black, Bad Scenario, Threatening Major Economic Consequences'

- The situation could then [if Rafał Trzaskowski wins] be dramatically different, because it's worth remembering just a few months ago, how difficult decisions were made practically in hours, in days, and then the president did not hesitate to make decisions very quickly, for example, regarding the financial shield, where we saved several million, 5 million jobs, which is also confirmed by Bloomberg, the EC - Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated on Polsat News.

- One can expect a presidency of veto for veto's sake, no means no, eternal quarrels, eternal counter for the sake of countering - he continued. - I think it would be a grim, very black, bad scenario. A scenario that would certainly threaten very major consequences for the economy. Because this cooperation now, in the coming months, quarters, years, is crucial, and the fact that the EC or EBRD say that Poland will have the shallowest growth slowdown is a great success for us, and it happened thanks to President Duda - PMM emphasized.

20:48

President Duda: I Greatly Value These Meetings with Residents of Various Polish Cities. Thanks to Them, I Haven't Gotten Stuck Under the Chandelier

- I truly value these meetings with residents of various Polish cities. It is important to me, it has always been important to me. I understood the value of this during my previous presidential campaign, and I will say that thanks to these meetings, I haven't gotten stuck under the chandelier, as is often said about presidents - President Andrzej Duda said in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the TVP Info program "Gość Wiadomości".

20:52

President Duda: "Nonsensical Talk" of Abandoning Large Investments is False; We Pursue Both Large and Small

It’s like this, frankly, nonsensical talk, that we will abandon large investments and focus on small ones. No. We are pursuing both. We are not a pauper state, where, forgive the comparison, when winter comes, I have to choose whether to buy a new coat or new shoes – said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.

20:55

Duda:

It Suddenly Became Apparent How Power Had Changed When I Became President; LOT is Thriving, the Economy Can Be Rebuilt, and Part of the Polish Banking Sector Can Be Bought Back

- It suddenly became apparent how power had changed when I became president; LOT is thriving, the economy can be rebuilt, and part of the Polish banking sector can be bought back from foreign hands. In doing so, we can strengthen our banking sector and, consequently, strengthen our economy as well - said President Andrzej Duda on TVP Info.

GW's Number One in Silence: From Election to Election. Michnik: The Pre-election Silence Obliges Me to Resign from Indicating My Political Preferences. Therefore, I Think Apolitically About History. Adam Michnik on Why We Cannot Stay Home

Adam Michnik, the editor-in-chief of Gazeta Wyborcza, announced on the eve of the election that he would not be endorsing any particular political option. In his statement, published on the newspaper's website, he explained that the pre-election silence obliges him to refrain from indicating his political preferences.

Michnik elaborated on his decision, stating, "The time of pre-election silence obliges me to resign from indicating my political preferences. Therefore, I am thinking apolitically about history." This suggests that while the political landscape is charged, he chooses to reflect on broader historical contexts rather than specific contemporary political choices.

The article goes on to explore why, according to Michnik, citizens cannot afford to remain indifferent and stay home during elections. It implies a call to action, urging readers to participate in the democratic process. The title itself, "Jedynka GW w ciszy: Z wyborczą na wybory. Michnik: Czas ciszy przedwyborczej zobowiązuje mnie do rezygnacji ze wskazania moich preferencji politycznych. Przeto myślę apolitycznie o historii Adam Michnik o tym, dlaczego nie możemy zostać w domu" (GW's Number One in Silence: From Election to Election. Michnik: The Pre-election Silence Obliges Me to Resign from Indicating My Political Preferences. Therefore, I Think Apolitically About History. Adam Michnik on Why We Cannot Stay Home), encapsulates this dual stance: a personal withdrawal from explicit political endorsement during the silence period, contrasted with a broader imperative for civic engagement.

While Michnik's direct political recommendations are withheld due to the electoral silence, his commentary points to a deeper reflection on the significance of voting and the historical weight of democratic participation. The article, therefore, serves as a platform for contemplating the role of the individual in shaping the future, even when direct partisan advocacy is temporarily suspended.

Trzaskowski:

The Atmosphere We See Reminds Us of 1989. There Hasn't Been Such a Desire for Change in a Long Time.
- This atmosphere that we are witnessing reminds us of 1989. For those who remember. There hasn't been such a desire for change in a long time, there hasn't been so much good energy. Over these past few weeks, we have also rebuilt a thread of understanding, a desire for change, mutual kindness, and smiles - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with the residents of the Jaktorów municipality.

Trzaskowski:

Choose those who talk about real problems. Don't choose those who constantly fight a shadow

- We must go to the elections so that we can later clearly state: yes, we will hold accountable what we are currently left with, we will talk about it, and above all, choose those who talk about real problems. Don't choose those who constantly fight a shadow. They constantly have to look for enemies - stated Rafał Trzaskowski to the residents of Międzybory.

Trzaskowski:

Even If Five Years Ago the Diagnoses of the Situation Were Accurate, Over These Five Years the Government Has Stopped Talking to Citizens
- We need to have a partner in power. We need the government to be for the people, and not the other way around. Everyone longs for this. Because, unfortunately, even if five years ago the diagnoses of the situation were accurate, over these five years this government has stopped talking to citizens and today it doesn't talk about what's most important. About saving jobs, about healthcare, about equal educational opportunities - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a meeting with residents of the Jaktorów municipality.

Trzaskowski on a Certain TV Station: "Beautiful, Positive Fragments Appeared, a Bit Like North Korea. You Can Watch It Because It Doesn't Annoy Anyone, It's Positive, Sweet, Colorful. But Then Turn It Off"

- I encourage you, for these next two hours, let's have a celebration of freedom and peace. Turn off the television, especially one station which recently, listen, has become a bit, just a little bit positive, because beautiful, positive fragments have appeared there, a bit like North Korea. You can watch it because it doesn't annoy anyone, it's positive, sweet, colorful. You can watch it, but then turn it off, don't listen to those dubbed voices, and simply engage in conversation - stated Rafał Trzaskowski to the residents of Międzybory.

Trzaskowski in Online Recording Before Election Silence: I Greet You All, Thank You All. I Ask for Your Vote. Change is Needed

- Dear citizens, the final minutes of the election campaign. We have often said 'we've had enough'. Today, it must be clearly stated: we want change. Therefore, we must all go to the polls in large numbers next Sunday. I encourage you to do so, I ask for your vote. We want to change Poland, we want a strong president who will keep a close eye on those in power, but I cannot do this alone; I can only do it with you. That is why mobilization is needed, energy is needed at this final stage, and of course, we will meet on Sunday at the polling stations. Then, we will likely be working for another two weeks. But I wanted to thank everyone already. Everyone who supported us, everyone who worked hard in the election campaign. Everyone who helped us organize the signature collection. We collected almost two million thanks to you. I also wanted to thank all the competitors with whom we conducted this campaign, especially on the opposition side. We are not opponents to each other. There is one opponent, and that is Andrzej Duda. I greet you all, thank you all. I ask for your vote. Change is needed - said Rafał Trzaskowski in an online recording.

These are elections that will decide the future of our country and our future, not for 5 years. Not for 10 years. They can decide for decades how the Polish state will develop.

- These are elections that will decide the future of our country and our future, not for 5 years. Not for 10 years. I think they can decide for decades how the Polish state will develop. Because if these changes, made calmly, systematically, and methodically, which we began to implement since 2015, and which began with my electoral victory, and which also proceeded through all my meetings with compatriots across Poland, through listening to what they had to say to me here in Stary Sącz as well, because we have seen each other here more than once – stated President Andrzej Duda in Stary Sącz.
