Immediately after arriving from the USA, at 11:30 AM at the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda will meet with representatives of American business in Poland. A briefing by PAD will follow the meeting. Later, at 2:00 PM, PAD will lay a wreath before the June '76 monument in Radom, and at 2:15 PM, before the monument to Maria and Lech Kaczyński. Subsequently, at 2:30 PM, President Andrzej Duda will hold a meeting with the residents of Radom.

At 10:45 AM, a press conference will be held by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Marlena Maląg on the topic of "the labor market and unemployment, and the effectiveness of the shield in protecting jobs," as well as the extension of parental care benefits for parents of children for the next period. - I see a reason for the President of the Republic of Poland to be invited by the world's greatest superpower. That's the main reason for the President's trip to the USA. It would be difficult to say: excuse me, there's a campaign, I'm not traveling. Representing Poland's interests also means traveling during campaign season, and that's the reason – stated Andrzej Dera in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- This meeting [between President Duda and President Trump] was of course planned much earlier, but the pandemic got in the way, and so the presidents agreed that at the moment when these pandemic restrictions disappear, primarily regarding international travel, and that has now ended, the meeting would take place - stated Andrzej Dera in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

- This is a continuation of very good Polish-American relations and very good personal relations between the President of Poland and the President of the USA - he continued.

- Undoubtedly, from the perspective of Poland's interests, the president's visit to the USA paid off and was beneficial. Please note that a declaration of strategic partnership between Poland and the USA was signed, and the fact that we have American troops in Poland today, that we are buying liquefied gas, becoming independent of gas supplies from Russia, and that we can now fly to the USA as Poles, these are clear results of these talks and Polish-American relations. Furthermore, the announcements made during this meeting, such as the issue of further strengthening American troops in Poland, investments, for example, the announcement of building a nuclear power plant with American technology, and that Microsoft and Google will be investing in Poland in the near future, and at very significant amounts – if we're talking about a billion, and Google announces it could be $2 billion – these are powerful investments, significant benefits for Poland. Such matters are never considered in electoral terms, but rather in the long term, because in our long-term interest, the interest of all Poles, is to have good relations with the USA and for these relations to yield tangible benefits for Poles – stated Andrzej Dera in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- The [visit of President Duda to the USA] had an exceptional character due to the pandemic and the prior arrangement that it would happen... If we had held the [presidential] elections on May 10th, then today's meeting [of President Duda with President Trump] would already be long after the elections, so I don't understand the attempt to stitch it into some electoral context - stated Andrzej Dera in "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

- Nothing really happened there. Mr. Duda will bring back a nice photo to put in his campaign album. However, he didn't bring back a nuclear power plant as was promised. You know very well yourself that announcements, expressions of will, and deep declarations are language that means nothing. When it comes to military presence, no specifics were given either. It was a confirmation of understandings from 2019, nothing more. So, he went for a joyride. It turns out that if the meeting lasted 25 minutes, that's about 700 liters of jet fuel per minute for President Duda's trip. He went for a joyride, saw the world, was hosted at the White House, took a photo, and came back - said Szymon Hołownia in an interview with Beata Lubecka on the program "Gość Radia ZET".

I understand that it [Donald Trump's statement about the elections in Poland] was made, and I recall it was made at a press conference, and President Trump responded that way to journalists' questions. But I understand that you also are not bothered by the wishes of mayors or city presidents politically affiliated with the EPP, which Rafał Trzaskowski also showcases on his portal. So you understand that this isn't interference and that it's actually good, right? -stated Andrzej Dera on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

President Duda is probably hoping this will somehow convince or solidify the iron part, the iron part of his electorate. However, he has once again shown what a weak president he is. He is weak because he cannot achieve anything, he is completely dependent, he is controlled remotely from the central committee at Nowogrodzka Street, so much so that he is actually leading to a situation, like now during the campaign, where he incites people against people, and it's ending tragically, as it's already starting to end tragically for many in Poland – said Szymon Hołownia on Radio ZET.

- I don't know him personally, but I have no problem having a good relationship with him, Rafał Trzaskowski, that voting for Trzaskowski is a victory for Duda. Polls in 2005 showed a clear lead for Donald Tusk in the second round over Lech Kaczyński, and ultimately Kaczyński, after activating the PiS propaganda machine, won 54:46 - said Szymon Hołownia on Radio ZET. 

"During the time that Donald Trump is the head of the American state, and I am the president of Poland, Polish-American cooperation has been elevated to a level perhaps never before seen. Concrete effects of this policy are visible. This includes the increasing military presence of the United States in Poland, gas agreements which enhance our energy security, and finally, significant investments by large American companies," said President Andrzej Duda, who is running for re-election, in an interview with Radio Jedynka. 

„We are focusing on some trivialities, some photograph, some social media post. That is not the essence of international politics. International politics is based on relationships built over years, on worked-out relations and agreements. I am convinced that the visit that has concluded is a step towards further agreements supporting the development of the Polish economy, as I am thinking here of investments, or strengthening cooperation in the area of state defense” - said the Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, Minister Michał Dworczyk, in an interview with Beata Michniewicz on Polish Radio Trójka. 

“We are now just a few dozen hours away from the election silence. This is no longer a time for new fireworks to convince voters about individual candidates, but rather a time for reminding and explaining the program and the various emotions that arise in such situations. We – and I'm speaking here about the broadly understood political environment supporting President Andrzej Duda – will be explaining, conveying, and presenting the President's program until the very last hour,” said Michał Dworczyk, Head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, on Polish Radio Trójka. 

"Yesterday, Jarosław Kaczyński spoke about freedom, stating that Law and Justice and Andrzej Duda guarantee freedom. I am very pleased about that. If they censor our song, I hope it doesn't happen, we know who to turn to directly" - Beata Michniewicz said on Radio Trójka during a conversation with Minister Michał Dworczyk. 

- There will be no security for the Polish state when we are divided. Social division is a fact, a civil war is spreading across Poland. This is no longer just a political civil war, but a social civil war. If scuffles break out at election rallies, if we are bombarded daily with vulgarity, with 'treacherous faces' on one side and 'finishing off the pack' on the other, nothing good will come of it in the long run. This is the degradation of community, this is the destruction of human relationships. This is a threat to the security of the Polish state – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Poznań.

- What are the costs of this 'selfie' at the White House? Is it just about a staged election stunt, or does it also involve some interests? Did Andrzej Duda uncritically agree to 5G? Despite the doubts held by many of our compatriots. Including those doubts related to health and the testing of this infrastructure. We are not against innovation, quite the opposite, but we always demand reliable information - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Poznań.

- I wanted to comment on this great defeat and great embarrassment for President Duda. It was supposed to be Fort Trump, but it turned out to be a mirage. There were supposed to be soldiers stationed in Poland, but it turned out they won't be. There was supposed to be a nuclear power plant, but it turned out that, like his predecessors, Andrzej Duda is also unable to bring one to Poland, and thank goodness, because who would be responsible for it? Can you imagine if such a nuclear power plant in Poland were built by, for example, Minister Sasin, and its management were the responsibility of Macierewicz with Misiewicz? The button for this nuclear power plant, for deciding on security, would be held by Jarosław Kaczyński. This government would certainly not cope with such an investment, and that is why Andrzej Duda returns humiliated today, not with a shield, but on a shield. And the fundamental question in all of this is one. How much will it cost us. Who will pay for it, who will pay for probably the last such trip of President Duda abroad? A trip at the taxpayers' expense - stated Robert Biedroń at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- The only things President Duda is bringing back from the USA are an entry in the White House guestbook, we saw him making that entry, it wasn't under agreements, it was an entry in the White House guestbook, and a selfie with Donald Trump - he continued.

- If this is to be President Duda's campaign cost, making a foreign trip solely for a one-day message, then I assure you, Mr. President, elections are won in Końskie, in Poznań, in Leszno, not in Washington - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Poznań. 

“We know that this government is trying to propose grand, central investments to Poles, managed from Warsaw, which unfortunately, just like here in Ostrołęka, yield absolutely nothing. Just look at the scene behind me. This is precisely what PiS's policy looks like. Here, in Ostrołęka, a coal-fired power plant was supposed to be built, where all experts clearly stated that it would not be profitable, that it was not in line with the policy of fighting global warming and fighting for clean air. And that is exactly what happened. PiS promises everything during election campaigns, it promises the shipbuilding industry, the defense industry. It promises that it will not close mines, and then reality looks like it does in Ostrołęka. Experts agree that almost 1 billion zlotys have been wasted here. We see only concrete stubs behind me, not the investment that was supposed to be built. The government promised that it would not close mines. The opposite is true” – said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for President from Civic Coalition and Mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Ostrołęka.

„It looks exactly like it did here, in Ostrołęka. For campaign purposes, you can promise anything, megalomania, and then these projects are abandoned halfway through, or even at the very beginning of execution. Today, the government is promising one of the largest airports in Europe. I fear it will end up exactly like it did here, in Ostrołęka” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the KO candidate for president and mayor of the capital city of Warsaw, in Ostrołęka.

"We need to clearly ask questions - what kind of technologies are these [that PAD discussed with Trump in the context of nuclear energy]? The question must be asked whether the decision on potentially building a nuclear power plant should not, beforehand, be the subject of public debate, and prior parliamentary debate. It seems another controversial investment is being prepared for us, and I fear that with this government's capacity to implement such investments, it may end up exactly the same as in Ostrołęka" - said Rafał Trzaskowski, the Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and the Mayor of Warsaw, in Ostrołęka.

„It's evident, unfortunately, that what we suspected from the very beginning, that this visit primarily serves short-term purposes, a short-term campaign dimension, seems to be turning out to be true” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, KO's presidential candidate and the Mayor of Warsaw, in Ostrołęka, commenting on President Donald Trump's words that he is counting on the success of the incumbent President Duda, who is running for re-election.

- Today, after three months, GUS (Central Statistical Office) has released data for May. This figure is 1,001,000, meaning an increase of 92,000. Compared to Spain, which has a comparable population, this is a more than 6-fold lower increase in unemployment. It is worth comparing these numbers, because today we are dealing with a major campaign of fake news, manipulation, and lies. At the forefront of this campaign is the PO Vice-Chairman, Mr. Trzaskowski, who very clearly suggested an increase in unemployment by one million, but it is enough to refer to data from the time when Mr. Trzaskowski was in Mr. Tusk's government. Well, back then, unemployment was indeed one million higher, meaning in the times of Mr. Trzaskowski and Tusk, when the global economic situation was heavenly better than today, every economist will tell you this, it is known that today we are experiencing the crisis of the century, a very dangerous crisis, however, a crisis that, through our shields, is being controlled at one of the best levels in Europe. Economists say: you have stopped the chain reaction through the financial shield, which helps protect jobs - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister (KPRM).

- Indeed, we are protecting 5 million jobs through our financial shield. Indeed, unemployment is increasing at the smallest rate, one of the smallest among EU countries, and for this, we are also strongly praised by international institutions - he continued.

- I am referring to the 2008 crisis, the financial crisis. What was the reaction of Prime Minister Tusk's government then? Well, the first plan was prepared after seventy-odd days, and the package was adopted after another 2 months, meaning it took approximately 5 months in total to adopt a modest package, which was based for the most part not on the budget, which was stingy with money for saving jobs at the time, but on EU funds. Had we waited for EU funds or for help from elsewhere, we would today indeed have a huge level of unemployment, at least as high as that registered in Spain, Italy, or France, other large countries. Very noticeable percentage increases. Therefore, compare these 100 days of Mr. Tusk's inaction with the 100 days of our government's reaction. I encourage everyone to imagine what the economy would look like today. I asked this question to entrepreneurs from different sides of the political scene, with whom I meet every day in very large numbers. And one entrepreneur, who is not our supporter, said: Mr. Prime Minister, there would be nothing left to salvage if you had waited 5 months. So, if there had been inaction, as in the times of Prime Minister Tusk, or as in the times of Rafał Trzaskowski in the case of the Czajka ecological disaster or unfulfilled promises like Skra Warszawa or the 4th and 5th metro lines, we would have an economic catastrophe – that's what entrepreneurs and employees are saying - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- If, on the one hand, you are tired of the current way of exercising power, where one is a subcontractor, an assistant to the party leader, and the President of the Republic has been reduced to the role of a subcontractor, if you are tired of this, then I invite you, join me. On the other hand, if you also don't want to choose someone who has no program, who hasn't presented a program, who may have good intentions but doesn't know how to do it, then I invite you, join me - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Leszno.

“When Mr. Trzaskowski a few days ago said, and I quote: today over a million people have lost their jobs in Poland, I think it can be said thus: today the number of unemployed, Mr. Trzaskowski, is one million lower than when you were in Mr. Tusk’s government and together you led economic affairs in a direction that all Poles can perfectly assess” – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- In Poland, we can cooperate and we can smile at everyone. This is how I will differ from Andrzej Duda: he believes we should only care for those who voted for him, and most of all for Chairman Kaczyński. I believe we should care for all Poles – stated Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Leszno.

- What can we expect from someone who, just two days before the election silence, not even a full two days, hasn't presented a program, what they want to achieve, not just in the economy, but in many other areas? This is a disregard for Poles, for voters - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.

- I appeal: show Mr. Trzaskowski's program. It's a shame it wasn't at least 2-3 weeks earlier, 4 weeks before the election, but you want, as Mr. Schetyna said, to show it on Friday, so one day before the election. Show the program quickly, so that voters have at least time to read it once - he continued.

- Sometimes this propaganda poisons hearts and minds. This is a medical recommendation. I am prescribing this everywhere in Poland. I hope you will accept it here in Leszno too. For your health, please do not watch the 7:30 PM program, you might get sick - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Leszno.

There is a green light from my side, there is a green light from the President of the United States, and we will strive, as I also promised the President [Donald Trump], to ensure that American companies have the best possible conditions in our country. The accident on the Grota-Roweckiego bridge viaduct has caused significant disruptions. In response, Rafał Trzaskowski, the Mayor of Warsaw, has cancelled his planned visits to Raciąż and Płock. He is currently en route to Warsaw.

Investments in water retention should be a priority. There are funds available for this, and I say this as a member of the European Parliament's budget committee. Resources can be secured for this, but we cannot spout nonsense like those currently in power, claiming we are not dealing with a climate catastrophe, that it's fake news, or that climate change is not happening. The residents of Oława don't need to be told; you can clearly see yourselves that we are dealing with climate change, with a climate catastrophe, and a wise government should recognize this, foresee it, and invest in all safeguards that will counteract it - said Robert Biedroń in Oława.

The first decisions were made immediately after I learned what had happened here. My team has been on site since the beginning. I wanted to thank all the services, primarily the fire department, rescue services, and the police, for being present and immediately dealing with this very difficult situation. Above all, I am focusing on helping all the injured, as well as offering support to the victim's family. - I only have you. If you vote for me on June 28, the whole world will talk about it. And finally, they'll speak well of the President of Poland. Finally, we'll be proud of him, instead of today, when the President of Poland hits the front pages of world newspapers because he insults people - Robert Biedroń said in Oława.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki announced that Krzysztof Bosak's car had been vandalized. He also stated that he had asked Mariusz Kamiński, the Minister of the Interior and Administration, to take charge of the matter. "There is no consent for aggression in the name of political struggle and presidential campaign," Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

The incident, which involved the defacement of Krzysztof Bosak's vehicle, a candidate in the recent presidential elections, has drawn a strong reaction from the head of government. Morawiecki's statement on social media underscored his condemnation of such actions and his commitment to ensuring that political discourse remains within civil boundaries.

The public must receive reliable information" - said the leader of Civic Platform (PO), Borys Budka, in Tczew.

- These elections will determine the direction in which Poland will develop in the coming years. Will it be the same direction it has developed in over the last 5 years, when attention was paid to the family, when we ensured there were jobs, that Poland was safe and that there were investments, when we ensured that Poland was finally treated as it deserves, meaning with dignity and that it was represented with dignity everywhere and with pride. - This is not enough. I want Poles to earn as they earn in the countries of Western Europe, in the rich countries of Western Europe. This must be at least 2000 euros in 5 years, converted. That's the truth. It must be, and everything must be done, this is precisely what these investments are meant to serve, various effective economic policies, including that's why we are now implementing these anti-crisis shields - he continued.

- One of the contenders stated that a million jobs have disappeared in Poland. Well, unfortunately, memory is short and poor, as it seems. Someone with such a short memory is not fit to wield power. In 2014, at the peak of the happiness and rule of the formation this gentleman belongs to, unemployment in Poland was over 2 million people. Over 2 million people were unemployed. It stood at 12% in May 2014. Today, after coronavirus, after the entire lockdown that took place in Poland, after the economy shut down, as it is slowly reopening, unemployment is at 6%. Yes, of course, it has risen. It was slightly over 4%. It has risen a little, but today there are a million unemployed in Poland, half as many as under the PO-PSL government in 2014. What are we even talking about? Does this man realize what he's saying? Isn't he ashamed? - president Andrzej Duda stated to the residents of Radom.

- Yes, yes, yes. I will say it openly: I, just like you, will say it openly, we have had enough of this deception. We are simply tired of this fairy tale telling. People have good memories, they remember what happened between 2007 and 2015. They remember perfectly when VAT was raised, money was taken from OFE, when the retirement age was raised, when lies were told in the 2011 election campaign. Straight into the camera, that the retirement age would not be raised, after which, cynically, right after the elections, when they won, they raised it. Such a policy cannot return. - I was in Końskie earlier in this campaign. I went to Washington at the invitation of President Trump at the very end. I am very pleased that as the first president, I was invited to Washington after the break caused by the so-called lockdown. I think this was an important signal regarding the relations between Poland and the USA, but I also think it can be interpreted as an important signal about where Washington's eyes are turned, meaning they are turned towards Europe, because we are not only a European country, but we are also a member of the EU, a European NATO country, and the fact that the president of a European country, a country in the EU, a NATO country, is invited first, is a significant geopolitical signal concerning how the USA will likely conduct its policy going forward. I believe this is a good signal not only for me, and part of the Western press also interpreted it that way - stated President Andrzej Duda in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".
