A statement to representatives of the Polish media is scheduled for 3:30 PM Polish time in Washington, followed at 5:30 PM by participation in the ceremony of awarding the Order of the White Eagle posthumously to Father Łucjan Królikowski. At 8:15 PM, PAD will be welcomed by US President Donald Trump, at 8:20 PM - presidential talks will commence, and at 8:45 PM - delegation talks led by the presidents. A meeting between the presidents and media representatives is scheduled for 9:30 PM, and at 10:00 PM - the Polish President's farewell by the US President.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will visit the Racibórz Dolny anti-flood reservoir in the Oder Valley at 8:30 AM. He will then travel to the Łódź Voivodeship, where a visit to the SelfMaker company in Łódź is scheduled for 11:30 AM, followed at 12:50 PM by a visit to the Creativity Centre Fabryka in Łódź, and at 1:35 PM - a visit to the site of the tunnel construction.

Rafał Trzaskowski will be in the Podkarpacie Voivodeship. - Krzysztof Bosak's voters want Krzysztof Bosak in the second round; they don't want a Duda-Trzaskowski choice because these candidates are similar to each other, with similar biographies and views, and above all, they come from parties engaged in a barren political dispute that needs to be rejected entirely. We simply need to shift the model of politics to much more important issues than which campaign team has come up with which substitute topic on a given day of the campaign – stated Krzysztof Bosak in the "Piasecki Interview" on TVN24.

- The dynamic of poll changes since January, when I began my election campaign, has been such that my support has roughly tripled. In the last week, interviews I've given to editor Stankiewicz on Onet have been trending on YouTube for days. The number of searches for my surname in recent days has surpassed those for President Duda. Meanwhile, Konfederacja is polling as the third force in Polish politics. I recall that last year, before the elections, no one gave Konfederacja a chance either. They said that if voter turnout was high, we wouldn't get in, but we did – stated Krzysztof Bosak in the "Piasecki's Conversation" on TVN24.

- I appeal for optimism, for mobilization in the final days of our election campaign. And I believe that defeating Rafał Trzaskowski, reaching the second round, and competing with President Duda, thereby showcasing a genuine, substantive opposition, is within reach – he continued.

- It's a gamble. However, I cannot imagine a situation where any candidate, especially the head of state, having the opportunity to meet with the president of the greatest superpower, would withdraw or decline this invitation based on pre-election calculations - said Jarosław Gowin in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on Polsat News's "Graffiti".

- If a second round were to happen without me, then we would reflect on it. But we have time for such reflections after Sunday, should this success not materialize, the success we are currently fighting and striving for. However, in the context of various media speculations, I must say that no proposal for any meeting has come to us from any campaign team, particularly from the major ones, and these teams fear us like the devil fears holy water. The fact that there is no debate on your channels, on TVN or Polsat, is precisely because the PiS and PO campaign teams have colluded and fled from these debates, content with only a staged debate on TVP – stated Krzysztof Bosak during "Rozmowa Piaseckiego" on TVN24.

Fortunately, the American state has the great advantage that regardless of which political camp is in power, the continuity of strategic decisions is a priority. If certain commitments are made by the current president, then regardless of who becomes president after the autumn elections, American commitments will be valid - said Jarosław Gowin on Polsat News.

- From the start, it was obvious that a runoff, if it occurs – and that has been clear for many weeks – would be extremely close - said Jarosław Gowin on Polsat News.

- Just a moment, let's pause for a second. PiS says: let's settle this in the first round. You say it's obvious there will be a runoff - noted Piotr Witwicki.

- I am not as optimistic as some of my colleagues. Of course, we are fighting for the best possible result for the President. I travel across Poland every day - replied Gowin.

- It was a certain awkwardness on the part of the organizers after Holy Mass. She was asked to thank entrepreneurs. Fully deserved words of thanks for millions of Polish entrepreneurs. She was supposed to speak from the altar and after the mass. I emphasize this very strongly - said Jarosław Gowin on Polsat News.

- The circumstances were extraordinary. There was no hint of agitation in Prime Minister Emilewicz's words. She spoke solely about the moral and social dimension of the economy - he added.

- President Andrzej Duda promised to lower the retirement age for everyone, including farmers, in 2015. Curiously, he lowered it for everyone else, but not for farmers. Until 2017, meaning halfway through PiS's first term, farmers could retire early – women at 55, men at 60 – and this possibility was not extended in 2017 - said Marek Sawicki in an interview with Grzegorz Jankowski on "Sygnały dnia" (Signals of the Day) on Radio Jedynka.

- Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will be in the second round. Whether it's with Szymon Hołownia, Andrzej Duda, or Rafał Trzaskowski, that remains to be seen. At this moment, we don't have such a dilemma; at this moment, we are all engaged in the campaign – said Marek Sawicki on Jedynka radio.

- In my opinion, Szymon Hołownia is, among other things, a contemporary Palikot. Ostensibly an independent candidate. I would like to know from where and how he is gathering such significant funds for his campaign. Who is actually financing him, and I have serious doubts whether he's not truly a candidate of certain political circles, solely to take votes from competitors like Kosiniak-Kamysz - Marek Sawicki said on Jedynka radio. 

- Today in Rzeszów at 4:30 PM, I will discuss a program for young people. One of the most significant barriers and problems for all young people is owning their own apartment. The PiS government promised 100,000 apartments by the end of 2019, and according to press reports, they delivered less than a thousand - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference in Rzeszów.

- My proposal will primarily focus on ensuring the down payment for obtaining loans, because we all know that this is the most important problem and the biggest obstacle today - he continued.

- The PO government created its own programs that were much more effective when it came to acquiring one's own apartment. Meanwhile, PiS decided to throw all these efforts into the trash, proposing their own program, which was supposed to be much more effective, and the results of which are visible behind me - added Trzaskowski. 

"I remember the flood of 1997. I remember Racibórz, Opole, Kłodzko, Wrocław then. I saw these human dramas, when people lost their health, lives, all their property. I saw people in Kłodzko who had lost their loved ones. It was truly the flood of the century, a great flood that caused immense drama in many parts of our country. The then-ruling left, through Prime Minister Cimoszewicz, told people: 'You should have been insured.' Similarly, President Komorowski from Civic Platform said a few years ago that water has a tendency to gather, and then flow into other rivers, and then into the Baltic Sea. These are phrases that are foreign to us. We got down to serious work in 2016, 2017, and 2018 and allocated enormous funds for the construction of this reservoir here, near Racibórz. Thanks to this reservoir, which I believe will make everyone realize its importance, we could have saved Wrocław, Opole, Kędzierzyn, the entire Opole region, and Lower Silesia from a flood like the one in 1997" - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Racibórz. 

- I would like to remind you that it was the decisions from the Newport summit, negotiated by the PO government, that led to American troops being stationed on Polish territory. Later, of course, decisions and negotiations by the PiS government. This is one of the few examples where we have continuity in foreign policy - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference in Rzeszów.

- I personally negotiated the introduction of these sanctions [against Russia] in the European Union in 2014. I regret that the president today does not even uphold this consensus on this matter, because it seems that such a consensus is a fundamental issue in matters concerning the raison d'état and security of our homeland - said Rafał Trzaskowski during a press conference in Rzeszów.

"On Friday, a major campaign by Civic Platform - Civic Coalition MPs and Local Government Officials: 'Friday for Rafał'. There is a lot of work, and we are all working, we are all Rafał Trzaskowski's campaign staff. I am working hard, but Rafał Trzaskowski is the candidate. He has taken on the burden of this campaign, he is the candidate. I think I have been to every voivodeship to mobilize and support," said PO leader Borys Budka in a conversation with Beata Michniewicz on "Trójka's Political Salon".

- You need to ask... He [Rafał Trzaskowski] will present this program by the end of the week. There are still two weeks until the second round, but he will present it by the end of the week - stated Grzegorz Schetyna in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.

- It's obvious that the president doesn't implement. The government is responsible for politics, for conducting direct, current politics. Just as he does in Warsaw and shows that it can be done. It's a matter of legislative, political initiative, which is why the idea for nurseries and kindergartens is good, because he showed over 1.5 years as Warsaw mayor that it can be done, that it can be done very quickly, and that it can be done as a nationwide program. This is a process that takes time. A term lasts 5 years. He started it, and there's a big change compared to other cities - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on Radio Plus.

„If the President, three days before elections, without any declarations in Poland, without convening the National Security Council, without clear instructions from the government, travels and meets with only one of the candidates for President of the United States, and polls show that there might soon be a change in the White House, and we don't know why the President is going, because he hasn't clearly stated it. Will it not turn out that precisely for campaign reasons, he will undertake commitments that his successor Rafał Trzaskowski will later have to honor? This is happening very badly. I regret that President Andrzej Duda will not meet with President Trump's competitor” - said PO Chairman Borys Budka on Radio Trójka.

- I want to say that this goes beyond the structures of diplomacy entirely. Four days before the election, a visit during the election campaign, before the election in Poland, is being treated by Donald Trump also as an element of his own election campaign in the USA. I just wouldn't want any commitments to be made, because just as Donald Trump is not the favorite in the US presidential election, so Andrzej Duda is also ceasing to be the favorite in the Polish election - stated Grzegorz Schetyna on Radio Plus.

“There are several pillars to Rafał Trzaskowski's program. The issue of self-governance and financial and organizational support for local governments. The second very important element is investments at the local and regional level. He speaks very clearly about this. The third element is effective foreign policy and cooperation within the EU, a return to the good traditions when Poles held the most important positions in the EU – Jerzy Buzek, Donald Tusk – these were symbols of how Poles can effectively advocate for Poland's interests and implement common European policy. These are issues of security, but also the issue of healthcare. Foreign policy is a tough game of interests, where smiles and handshakes matter but aren't the goal. We are pursuing our interests more effectively than ever – says the narrator in the latest re-election campaign spot of Andrzej Duda, which 300POLITYKA is the first to publish. PiS campaign staff want to build another contrast between the "smile" policy in the style of Donald Tusk, from which – in their opinion – nothing more resulted. The main message is a strategic alliance with the USA, and it's no coincidence that the campaign staff's communication today is intended to amplify the effect of Duda and Trump's meeting.  "Instead of the dictates of Russian Gazprom, we have cheaper LNG gas, and the number of American soldiers, which has increased severalfold, genuinely strengthens our security; the NATO border has clearly shifted eastward" – we hear in the spot. "President Duda played a key role in this. He is the president of Polish affairs" – this message concludes the spot. "Today, we have excellent relations with all the most important partners" – we also hear in the spot, as snippets from the president's meetings with Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, or the Prime Minister of China appear in the background.

„31 former voivodeship capitals must return to the map of Poland today, they must regain their dignity, because they were stripped of it. Economic aid must be directed to these cities in a special way today. Companies must be established here that will create new jobs. - We are surprised by this verdict on the one hand, although considering other verdicts that have been delivered recently, for example, the scandalous verdict concerning Mr. Sadurski, who called PiS a criminal organization and was acquitted in a civil lawsuit, it can be said that this should not be surprising. We are waiting for the justification, the full justification of this verdict, then we will respond substantively. The words that a million people have lost their jobs in Poland today are false. The truth is completely different. If we compare the unemployment level to the times when Rafał Trzaskowski was minister, we can say that a million people have gained jobs in Poland today - said Adam Bielan during a press conference. 

- As you know, a judgment has already been passed by the appellate court, a judgment that clearly states: Rafał Trzaskowski wins against Andrzej Duda in court. I think this is simply a fact that needs to be highlighted today, because it is worth asking one fundamental question, which I am directing today to those in power: does this government need as many as two court rulings to determine that there are over a million unemployed in Poland? Does it really take a court ruling, a Polish court ruling, for the government to finally start dealing with the issues that are most important to Poles today? It is a problem today that the Polish government, Andrzej Duda's campaign team, Andrzej Duda, instead of dealing with the most important, fundamental issues, is dealing with electoral process matters, which they are losing anyway. Rafał Trzaskowski is a candidate who will talk about the future. This is the division that is becoming clear before our eyes. There is one candidate who has remained in the past - Andrzej Duda, who talks about disputes that have long been resolved. We want to talk about problems that are here and now, problems that will impact Poland in the coming years - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a press briefing.

"I will not be the president of total opposition. - Yes, ladies and gentlemen. The good change, the camp of good change, headed by Andrzej Duda, is the camp of freedom - added the PiS leader.

- If freedom in Poland is not to retreat but to expand, including into the areas discussed here, and if it concerns the practical freedom of an individual who has adequate means, access to housing, and access to culture, partly due to having a sufficient amount of money in their wallet, if we want everything in our world, in our civilization, this developed civilization, that is so appealing, so beautiful, everything that can ensure a beautiful, good life for people, to truly be not just a dream, not just a chimera, but the future of our nation, then we must say clearly: Andrzej Duda must become the President of the Republic - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the convention of the PiS Youth Forum.

- Everything you've discussed here, starting with women's equality in terms of pay, and also in terms of treatment, because there was also mention of various other dangers that indeed lurk for women in Poland in various places, and ending with animals, with everything that dictates treating animals well and treating them not as things, but as living, feeling beings, all of that also falls within the scope of freedom. One only needs to look at freedom from the perspective of a conscious human being, both intellectually and morally. An empathetic person, capable of empathizing with everything that others experience, primarily people, but also animals - said Jarosław Kaczyński at the convention of the Young Forum of PiS.

- Our formation, although, as the gentleman moderating this meeting rightly said: a conservative formation, fully identifies with these demands. We have nothing in common with those who delude themselves into thinking these demands are not right-wing. They are indeed conservative; they refer to the best of what has been in history, to our civilization. - In the situation we find ourselves in today, we are emerging well from the pandemic crisis, often people forget how it began. But I believe Poles have good memories and we all perfectly remember what the situation was like in March and at the beginning of April. At that time, everyone was very concerned about the consequences of the pandemic in all possible dimensions of life. And the constitutional elections for the office of the President of the Republic of Poland were approaching. And in connection with that, similarly to Bavaria and South Korea, we decided to conduct postal elections. Indeed, there was a legal basis, and we used that legal basis and asked for operational preparations to be made for these elections, to conduct these elections. If the ballots had not been printed, and the Senate had coincidentally ended up with its traditional strategy of freezing everything, all good laws, freezing, delaying, which meant many things had to come into effect later, and in this case, we could not have conducted the postal elections operationally at all, because the Senate exactly held onto them for 30 days, the maximum possible period available to the Senate. Consequently, the Senate bears the responsibility here, about which some people are inquiring, although I think that neither the Senate nor all those who tried to prepare things with actual responsibility should bear it, because in a democratic process, in a normal state, it sometimes happens that various processes undergo, in this case, various kinds of democratic shifts. We were forced into this democratic shift by the Senate freezing the bill – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press briefing in Łódź.

We will talk about all those important issues that I have already mentioned several times, namely: military cooperation, economic cooperation, including in the Three Seas region, in which President Trump is very keenly interested, as evidenced by his unequivocal participation in the Three Seas Summit in Warsaw. We will discuss energy cooperation and energy security. We will also talk about cooperation in telecommunications and cybersecurity, and – importantly for me – we will discuss cooperation in the field of coronavirus vaccine research, collaboration between Polish and American scientists in this area, as well as cooperation between our states, joint action” – said President Andrzej Duda, who is running for re-election, in Washington.

I hope that thanks to this, also thanks to this cooperation, these treatments will also be available to my compatriots, to Poles, as quickly as possible - he continued.

- I would not presume to tell the President of the United States where to send his soldiers, as this is always a decision made by the United States, an extremely responsible decision. I do not deny that I appealed to President Donald Trump not to withdraw American forces from Europe, because the security of Europe is important to me. From Europe as a whole, from a united Europe, for which the American presence since the end of World War II has largely been a guarantee of security. However, if someone asks me if I am ready for Poland to accept more American soldiers in our country, then yes, I am ready for them to be accepted - said President Andrzej Duda during a joint press conference with President Donald Trump.

- In the near future, an agreement will be signed between the governments of the USA and the Republic of Poland, which will enable the commencement of design work related to the major project of introducing conventional nuclear energy for electricity production in our country. The entities that will be involved in this have already been selected, and significant progress has been made in negotiations - stated President Andrzej Duda at a press conference with US President Donald Trump.

- I wanted to thank you, Mr. President, because, among other things, the monument to General Tadeusz Kościuszko, our national hero and also a national hero of the United States, who fought for American independence, was recently desecrated. He had great merits; he was also the leader in Poland of an uprising that fought for Polish independence - said President Andrzej Duda during a joint press conference with President Donald Trump.

In all of this, we are looking for those areas where we have a win-win situation, where both sides win and where both sides realize their interests within the framework of our cooperation.
