These are all unanswered questions, and we know that when it comes to the United States, we are dealing with a partner who doesn't so much love and adore as they like to sell dearly many things produced in the States. The question is whether it will be in our interest, or solely a political interest for Andrzej Duda three days before the election – said Szymon Hołownia during a press conference.

- We are doing everything to prevent Poland from finding itself in such a difficult situation where it will have to choose between a house fire and a broken hand, meaning between Andrzej Duda and Rafał Trzaskowski. However, the mobilization within our movement allows me to be optimistic in this regard. And therefore, I would ask the President to inform the public why he is going to Washington. I have sent a letter to the President on this matter. Because when it comes to issues concerning the stationing of American troops in Poland, there is agreement here. This is one of the few examples of continuity in foreign policy, because I remind you that it was the PO and PSL governments that negotiated the bringing of American troops to Poland, and here the PiS government implemented it. We really have continuity here. However, we are receiving various signals that the Americans want to relocate their nuclear weapons, we are receiving signals that perhaps talks are also underway regarding the construction of a nuclear power plant in Poland. And that is why I appeal to the President to clarify these matters unequivocally and to clearly inform the public that it is not about relocating nuclear forces, to clarify whether these talks will indeed concern perhaps the construction of a nuclear reactor. If not, then the public should know about it, - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Lublin.

- Because either the matter is extremely important and very serious decisions will indeed be made in Washington, but then parliament should be informed, the National Security Council should be convened, or very important decisions will not be made there, and then the question is, of course, why this visit is taking place a few days before the elections. I hope that President Duda is not going to Washington solely for the immediate purposes of his or President Trump's campaign, hence this letter and hence these questions. These doubts must be clarified - he continued.

- Regarding the issues concerning Skra, I would first note that it is rather strange that PiS is trying to hold me accountable for campaign promises after a year and a half, while President Duda suddenly stated that his promises were spread over 10 years. But the Prime Minister probably doesn't have all the information he should have. Because he should well know that the Skra matter is still in court, and unfortunately, we haven't recovered the keys to the facility yet. So that we could even begin to invest in Skra. However, I remember the government's promises, for example, to build a sports and entertainment hall near the National Stadium, and if the Prime Minister truly wants to fulfill promises and invest in sports, I would expect him to fulfill that promise - stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press briefing in Lublin.

– For me, as the future Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, I will place special care and attention on the armaments industry and companies that pay taxes in Poland. This could be the next driving force – said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Toruń.

I think that opposition candidates like Rafał Trzaskowski, in particular, won't suffice with one debate on government television, but rather there should be debates on other channels. Today, we must build a community. We must strive to solve problems together, to jointly address what is most important. Today, I want to give you one example of why this is not working for now. We have one example in foreign policy where the previous government and this government were able to reach an agreement, namely the issues concerning the presence of American troops on Polish territory. There are few things that unite us. Today, we learn that President Andrzej Duda is going to the United States, but no one knows why or for what purpose. There were no discussions in parliament, no one informed the public why the President is going to Washington, and yet we hear various things, we hear about the transfer of nuclear weapons, the construction of nuclear reactors and nuclear power plants. No one is informing us whether the President will be making important decisions in Washington, or if it's solely about immediate issues related to the political campaign, and this concerns the security of all of us. If we want to rebuild our community, we must discuss such matters together" – said Rafał Trzaskowski, Civic Coalition's presidential candidate and Mayor of Warsaw, in Lublin.

- The bill concerning the Medical Fund, which has been anticipated for some time and widely discussed in the media, was submitted to the Sejm by me today. Thus, as they say, it has entered the Marshal's desk, officially reaching the Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek. Esteemed ladies and gentlemen, the bill provides for the establishment of this fund, which will be under the purview of the Minister of Health. The fund will be capitalized at 4 billion PLN annually. However, this year, as we have already passed half of it, the fund will have 2 billion PLN - President Andrzej Duda stated before his departure to the USA.

- This visit demonstrates a very good level of relations between Poland and the United States. Very strong allied ties. I am immensely pleased with this and I also appeal to the entire Polish political scene. Strategic relations with the United States have always been an element of absolute, all-party compromise, that these relations must be strengthened and it is important that they are as good as possible. I am asking now, too, for a compromise approach to this matter - said President Andrzej Duda before departing for the USA.

- From the very beginning of my presidency, I have been striving to strengthen Poland's security. During the time when Civic Platform, of which Mr. Rafał Trzaskowski is a member, was in power, Russia attacked Ukraine, and Poland was entirely reliant solely on the presence of our army. Many people were very fearful. In 2015, immediately after being elected President, I began implementing a policy of NATO presence in our country as a guarantee of security. Today, Alliance troops are present in Poland, and American troops are present in Poland. This is the result of calm and effective policy. I commit to continuing to implement such a policy - said President Andrzej Duda before his departure to the USA. 

PiS has released another video spot where the narrator addresses the KO candidate as "Rafał" and suggests that Trzaskowski is unaware of the problems of "ordinary people." Therefore, as stated in the clip, the actors' statements are confronted with a street poll among Warsaw residents.

- I'd like to know precisely why the President is going to Washington. Regarding the strengthening of the American military presence in Poland, there is agreement on that. However, when it comes to issues like nuclear weapons, as there are allegedly suggestions about that, or, for example, the construction of a nuclear power plant, it would be worthwhile to discuss it beforehand so that at least the parliament or public opinion is aware of it – stated Rafał Trzaskowski in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".
