I want to state clearly here that we must create clear conditions for people to work in Poland, for this work to be rewarding, for it to be worthwhile to work as long as possible, but I also want to state clearly that if I become President of the Republic of Poland, I will veto any law that seeks to raise the retirement age. Do not be fooled by what public television says, because we learn, we listen to Polish women and men, and today this decision – who wants to work for how long – must be left in the hands of citizens, but appropriate conditions must be created for this, and this requires respect for work, which is so lacking today, and we have had enough of this too” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for president from Civic Coalition (KO) and Mayor of Warsaw, in Bydgoszcz.
