The Sejm will commence its session at 11:00 with the first reading of the presidential bill on the Polish Tourist Voucher. The second reading is scheduled for 17:00, with the adoption anticipated between 18:00 and 21:00 during the voting block. The Sejm will also address the proposed amendment to the Institute of National Remembrance Act and changes to the Sejm's regulations today.

It is possible that the deputies will also elect three members to the so-called pedophilia committee. At 12:00, the Sejm's Justice and Human Rights Committee will convene to provide an opinion on the applications in this matter.

“We would like this act to come into force as quickly as possible, hence the very rapid work in the Presidential Palace, the government, and I think in the Sejm. The Sejm is considering this act at the earliest possible session, but we hear again that the chamber of obstruction, which the Senate has become under PO rule, does not want this solution to be implemented. This shows the great problems [we face in Poland] when power is divided between different political camps, and it shows what would happen if a PO candidate became president. All government initiatives would be blocked. While the Senate can drag out work on an act for up to 30 days, the president can simply veto the act” – said Adam Bielan, MEP from PiS and spokesman for Andrzej Duda's campaign staff, on Jedynka radio.

“Trzaskowski has a long history of fighting the government as the Mayor of Warsaw. If he became President of Poland, he would have even greater opportunities to block the government’s actions, and he would certainly use them. He himself speaks of ‘burning with an iron,’ he espouses rhetoric of vengeance. Simply put, for at least 3.5 years until the parliamentary elections, there will be conflict, chaos, and paralysis, because the Polish constitution does not divide competencies between the government and the president clearly enough. - I am surprised by Mr. Trzaskowski's appeal, who says: do not make decisions. How can we not make such important decisions for us, for Poland, for our development? I would only appeal to Mr. Trzaskowski to refrain from making appeals - he continued.

- The management of this epidemic has been chaotic from the very beginning. First, there was talk that China was far away, then senators were supposed to put ice in their underwear, then masks were completely useless, then masks are worn mandatorily. When there were 200 cases a day, we were locked in our homes for good; now there are nearly 500 cases a day, and restrictions have been relaxed. There is no order or coherence in this – said Tomasz Grodzki in an interview with Agata Adamek on TVN24's "Jeden na jeden".

Yesterday, a meeting took place in Krakow between Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Mayor Majchrowski. According to our sources, the discussion focused on future investments in Krakow that can be implemented through cooperation between the government and local authorities. One of the Prime Minister's close associates emphasizes that this is the first sitting Prime Minister to visit Krakow City Hall.

This was another stage of negotiations regarding the great European recovery fund and the significant fund intended to support the multiannual financial framework. Poland integrates several points of view, and it is important that Southern Europe views this crisis differently, as do several very frugal countries – the wealthiest, incidentally, smaller countries of Western and Northern Europe, and Central Europe. Poland is striving to integrate and reconcile several perspectives. We are succeeding quite well in this. The fact that we have certainly taken a step forward today is also connected to our proposing new, interesting solutions based on new own resources, but progressive from the perspective of Central Europe. This means, for example, a levy on large international corporations for using the single market rules, i.e., for being able to sell their products and services to consumers on the single market, but also, for instance, a financial transaction tax, where it is known that Western markets are much more financially developed. Therefore, they should pay more into the EU budget – stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Today the EU needs a strong and swift response. We cannot waste time on protracted negotiations, which is why I propose certain compromises, where it seems Poland is precisely at the central point where perspectives and different viewpoints intersect. Our economy is holding up very strongly. Comparing our economic data to what is happening in Western Europe, for instance, as recently reported by GUS or Eurostat, we can be optimistic - stated Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

- Today we are talking about new funds from the upcoming EU budget perspective. Combined with the European Recovery Plan, amounting to even around 160 billion euros, this is over 700 billion PLN for the next few years, which can support economic development, economic recovery after the coronavirus, and support economic recovery after the coronavirus - he continued.

- I have great hopes for this visit [of the President to the USA]. It is a very good, important visit, another meeting between President Duda and President Trump. We know that we have advanced discussions regarding defense, but also technological cooperation. The President, with whom I spoke yesterday, also told me about his plans, about his proposals regarding attracting additional American investments, and specifically those involving highly advanced technology, and this is an excellent plan. Today at 10:30 AM, I filed a motion with the District Court in Warsaw. At that time, I said that I would not discuss the subject of the motion, partly to avoid making things easier for our competitors, our rival Rafał Trzaskowski. In addition, we will demand the publication of this retraction, of course, if the court grants our motion, in the media where this information, this quote from the rally, appeared. According to our calculations, there were at least 10 media institutions, both electronic and print – he continued.

- We live in Poland, where nowadays, especially at every turn, people refer to the constitution, particularly those who protest the most. It's a pity, however, that when they had the opportunity to wield power in Poland, no one supported families the way it's happening today. Where was Article 18 of the constitution then? Couldn't they read it? That the Polish state in a special way cares for and protects family, motherhood, marriage, and parenthood. After all, this provision is also unequivocal that the family is to be supported by the Polish state. Was it supported back then when they laughed that one could eat sorrel and mirabelles, and they said this about children, about whom it was known that they went hungry, that 800,000 children in Poland were hungry? Really? Was that respecting the constitution then? Was that respecting fundamental constitutional rights? The constitution is only now being implemented and only now is it being observed. If only because we lowered the retirement age they had raised - said President Andrzej Duda in Kielce.

- Today, you do not have an obligation to work until the age of 67, you only have the right to retire, women at 60, and men at 65. The right to retire, and whoever wants to can continue working. That's the difference. If someone talks about freedom, then freedom is now. If someone talks about respecting citizens' rights, then these citizens' rights are being respected right now, as a result of decisions that I have pushed through - added the President.

- Someone please explain to me, ladies and gentlemen, if it turned out that reforming the National Revenue Administration (KAS) and making a few legal changes was not that difficult, indeed not very difficult, to prevent this gigantic VAT theft, then what? Were today's opposition, who were in power then, not intelligent enough to do it? Or perhaps they just didn't feel like it? - President Andrzej Duda said in Kielce.

“It is precisely judges who must be the first to abide by the law. They are to be exemplars of the rule of law. People observe them, after all, they also live in society. They are your neighbours. You know them, especially in smaller towns, perhaps not here in Kielce, a large city. But in smaller towns, everyone knows the judges. They observe them daily. They are to be social role models. They must live in such a way that nothing can be held against them, and if not, then please, change professions, if one is not undertaking it,” – said President Andrzej Duda in Kielce.

- As president, I would sign a ban on fur farming, and I will advocate for a ban on bird hunting. We will introduce legislative changes so that a horror like the one in Radysy does not repeat. If this doesn't change, we will have an even bigger problem with shelters, from which someone will again try to make a decent income. These are dogs taken from that slaughterhouse, in such a terrible condition due to human neglect, that you cannot turn this into a business venture - said Szymon Hołownia during a briefing at a Warsaw shelter.

- At the sight of the Hołownia couple, the dog ran away, but they were not discouraged and kept coming back for three months, taking him for walks, building a relationship with him, until they could finally take him home. Not everyone has the courage to adopt from a shelter, especially a difficult dog that requires work, and not everyone is able to dedicate three months to regularly visit the shelter and build a relationship with the dog. The Hołownia couple did just that - said the head of the Paluch shelter during Szymon Hołownia's briefing. - Thank you for that memory, because working with Grafit was not easy. He was a dog that caught our eye from the very beginning precisely because he had his own character, because he looked defiantly at everyone who passed his kennel. Other dogs would jump, bark, try to get attention, but he watched with distance and superiority, as if he wanted to show that we had to earn a relationship with him, not the other way around. We had to spend countless hours with Grafit in his kennel. And when he came to us, we thought he would live outside, because he was a dog who had never been inside a building, but he ended up living with us at home. Incidentally, by visiting Grafit, we met another dog who was surrendered for the May long weekend four years ago, and this was his second time at Paluch. We've now been together for four years. It's become a family tradition; my in-laws and parents each have two dogs. Grafit ran away from us in the forest, scared by a herd of wild boars, and it took five days of searching the woods until we finally got him back thanks to a Facebook campaign - said Hołownia.

- Our level of sensitivity and awareness regarding animal welfare is growing, and this is something the president should pay attention to. Therefore, following the example of President Lech Kaczyński, as he was the only president to hold such an office, I wish to announce that Barbara Borzymowska will assume this position. For 11 years, she has been creating a unique place in the Wrocław city hall: the Center for Friendly Human-Animal Relations. Therefore, immediately after the elections, I will reactivate the position of Plenipotentiary for Animal Rights Protection, created by Lech Kaczyński – Basia will become that plenipotentiary - said Szymon Hołownia.

„The lesson is clear. I want to state clearly here that we must create clear conditions for people to work in Poland, for this work to be rewarding, for it to be worthwhile to work as long as possible, but I also want to state clearly that if I become President of the Republic of Poland, I will veto any law that seeks to raise the retirement age. Do not be fooled by what public television says, because we learn, we listen to Polish women and men, and today this decision – who wants to work for how long – must be left in the hands of citizens, but appropriate conditions must be created for this, and this requires respect for work, which is so lacking today, and we have had enough of this too” - said Rafał Trzaskowski, candidate for president from Civic Coalition (KO) and Mayor of Warsaw, in Bydgoszcz.

- An important declaration by Rafał Trzaskowski [on retirement age], which I hope will cut through the narrative of President Duda's campaign, who presents himself as the sole defender of social matters. We've been saying for years: nothing given will be taken away. This applies to 500+, the retirement age, childbirth allowances, and various other things. While we may differ politically from President Duda on some points, this is about people, citizens. No one can be harmed here, and Rafał Trzaskowski says this very clearly. President Duda, in his campaign, is flitting between investments, water reservoirs, and accusing the opposition of wanting to take anything away from anyone. - Many years have passed. We are wiser from various experiences, including people's assessments. Simply put, we need different pension solutions, and that's clear, and we admit: it was a mistake then, and we will not repeat that mistake.
