It should be mobilization to the max, and I am convinced that it will be – the PiS MEP emphasized.

"I spoke with him after his interview, and he was clearly talking about people who were demonstrating on the streets of Los Angeles. I do not endorse this statement; I believe politicians attacking people is not good," said Adam Bielan in a conversation with Dominika Wielowieyska on TOK FM, responding to the journalist's question about Czarnek's words on TVP Info. "Human rights are important. Czarnek was speaking on a rather specific program where participants argue, and that's probably where such rhetoric comes from," Bielan added in response to another question from Wielowieyska.

- We believe in the President [Duda]'s victory, it is realistic. However, we will naturally respect every democratic verdict, although - I emphasize - President Duda is the favorite of these elections - Ryszard Czarnecki stated in an interview with Konrad Piasecki on TVN24's "Rozmowa Piaseckiego".

- I assume that President Duda will win the presidential elections. I assume that Rafał Trzaskowski will remain in his position as Mayor of Warsaw - the PiS MEP continued.

We are critical of what LGBT circles advocate, especially when they promote unconstitutional demands, but we should not attack people who hold these views. - I spoke with the President about this no later than yesterday. The President would consider signing a bill that would regulate the status of a close person. In Poland, the discussion about legalizing registered partnerships is ongoing, and a significant portion supports it, but not everyone realizes that this is the first step, at the end of which would be child adoption - Adam Bielan said on TOK FM. - This is a reaction to the President signing the Family Charter. Civic Platform has a culture of keeping its true views secret, as Rafał Grupiński stated at one of the equality parades - Bielan added.

- We will not play into PiS's plan, which attempts to divide Poles and forces us to deal with diversionary tactics - said Borys Budka in an interview with Robert Mazurek on RMF FM, when asked again about when Civic Coalition (KO) will submit a bill on registered partnerships, which is in their program. - We have registered partnerships in our program and we will propose it when there is a parliamentary majority for it. - I think we will talk about this after the presidential elections. At the moment, that is the absolute primary goal. I think they concern - firstly - elections, also at the local, regional level, within our formation, within PiS, but they may also concern certain changes in the Council of Ministers, structural and personnel shifts. This means that in the situation of a new challenge, a great challenge, which is exiting the economic crisis related to the pandemic, in a situation where a number of neighboring countries, with which we are economically linked, are having problems, and often bigger ones than ours, and 45% of our GDP is exports, meaning we depend on other countries' economies, there is a need for a government structure that can cope with these challenges. Although, in my opinion, the current cabinet, Prime Minister Morawiecki's cabinet, is doing very well at present. Nevertheless, we must be aware that the economic crisis will probably be greater or significantly greater than it is now. This is related not only to what is happening in Poland, but to what is happening in Europe, in our neighboring countries - stated Ryszard Czarnecki in the TVN24 program "Rozmowa Piaseckiego", emphasizing that in his opinion, Morawiecki will remain Prime Minister.

- If Jarosław Kaczyński, as the leader of the United Right, does not react, it means he is taking responsibility for Przemysław Czarnek's words - said Borys Budka on RMF, refusing to answer Robert Mazurek's question about whether he also endorsed the actions of Cezary Tomczyk, who spoke into Samuel Pereira's ear with a megaphone.

- If I were a certain Ms. Katarzyna from a commercial TV station, I would have ended this conversation - Mazurek stated after Budka repeatedly failed to answer his questions.

- No [whether Przemysław Czarnek should be expelled from PiS]. In my opinion, an unfortunate statement that should not have happened, should not cause the removal of MP Czarnek from PiS. However, it is absolutely certain that such words should not have been spoken - stated Michał Dworczyk in an interview with Beata Lubecka on Radio Zet.

- Mr. Czarnek explained himself and spoke about the meaning of his statements and the sense he wanted to convey with those words. One thing is certain. All people in Poland are equal before the law. Everyone, regardless of religious beliefs, skin color, political views, or sexual preferences, deserves respect. All people are equal, and there is absolutely no room for discussion on this matter. However, it is also a fact that there is no agreement on brutally imposing various ideologies in schools without parental consent, nor is there agreement on the adoption of children by homosexual couples - stated Michał Dworczyk on Radio Zet.

- The President [Duda] approaches all citizens of Poland, all Poles, with respect, while clearly emphasizing the values on which he is trying to build his presidency. For some, the most important thing is the LGBT charter, signed by President Trzaskowski in Warsaw; for others, it is the Family charter, which President Duda recently signed. This is precisely what freedom and democracy entail: we have the right to our convictions. - The LGBT ideology is aggressively entering, or attempting to enter, various spheres of our lives. Yes, I absolutely sign under that and I believe that just as there are people who hold this kind of view, there can also be people who hold entirely different views, and there is nothing extraordinary about that. And this is precisely an attempt to terrorize those people who have a different perspective, whether on sex education or on worldview matters, an attempt to intimidate them in such a way that they don't speak out, so that they adopt this one vision of the world that the LGBT community presents. - You're laughing, but some of your colleagues have probably crossed the line - Beata Michniewicz said in the Trójka Political Salon. - For years I was a head of human teams and I don't even know what their sexual preferences were. It's completely irrelevant. When I meet a person, their preferences are of little importance, but I believe that demonstrating them on the street is not okay. People with heterosexual preferences do not demonstrate their preferences with various gadgets on the street - replied Łukasz Szumowski on Trójka radio.

"I therefore express my strong objection to public statements by individuals holding high state office, who in recent days have stated that 'LGBT are not people, it is an ideology' (as stated by MP Jacek Żalek); 'These people are not equal to normal people' (as stated by MP Przemysław Czarnek); 'we are being told that these are people, but it is an ideology' (as stated by the President of the Republic of Poland and candidate for President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda); 'Poland without LGBT is the most beautiful' (as stated by MEP Joachim Brudziński); or have compared the relationship between two men to the crime of zoophilia (as stated by MP Tomasz Rzymkowski). I remind you that such exclusionary and contemptuous speech is unacceptable in a democratic state – it is not justified by any circumstances, including the ongoing election campaign" - writes RPO Adam Bodnar in a statement. The RPO recalls his recommendations on combating hate speech: "It is also worth noting that in its recommendations formulated directly towards Poland after the parliamentary elections in 2019, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) pointed out that: 'Candidates should refrain from intolerant statements, and authorities and political parties should unequivocally condemn any such instances.' This recommendation was the result of an assessment that the campaign then conducted was characterized by high polarization, and some candidates did not shy away from nationalist and homophobic rhetoric. The report noted that such a narrative evoked a sense of threat and negative emotions among the LGBTI community and other minorities. Authorities were therefore advised that, in order to prevent the spread of intolerant rhetoric during elections, they should review relevant provisions, particularly the Penal Code, to ensure compliance with international human rights standards regarding 'hate speech.' As the Ombudsman, I have also been directing such a recommendation to the relevant bodies for years, which unfortunately has not yet met with an appropriate response."

The head of Szymon Hołownia's campaign team is warning that Wednesday's TVP debate might be the only one to take place: "We are receiving increasing signals that the TVP debate on Wednesday, June 17th, might be the only debate before the elections. Newsweek has already withdrawn from the June 15th debate, and similar decisions might be made by TVN (June 19th) and Polsat (June 22nd) - who have not received confirmation of Andrzej Duda and Trzaskowski's attendance," wrote Michał Kobosko on Twitter.

For many weeks now, apart from one interview, I haven't seen President Duda answer journalists' questions at any press conference, neither from Mr. Redaktor nor from other radio or television stations, stated Cezary Tomczyk in a conversation with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus. Various things are happening on TVP. We want to participate in this debate. We are waiting for the conditions to be defined, because these conditions are still unclear. The format of the debate is still not set. We don't know under what conditions it is supposed to take place, where. We don't know what the thematic blocks will be, how many questions there will be. All these things are to be defined today and tomorrow. But of course, we want to participate in the debate, he continued.

- This is the long-awaited moment for justice. For social justice, which residents of many Polish cities have been expecting since 1989. For the past 31 years, the state in matters of privatization has been strong against the weak and weak against the strong. For these past 31 years, the state has allowed building clearers to operate with impunity. For 31 years, tenants, building residents, have often been brutally taken over along with the buildings and thrown onto the streets. For 31 years, individuals like Jolanta Brzeska, a brave woman, a tenant movement activist, burned alive, took to the streets and asked politicians for a bit of justice. For them to be able to safely plan their future and their families' futures. For 31 years, over 20 draft laws have been submitted, and none of these privatization-related projects have been adopted. In 2017, this year, the Deputy Minister of Justice, Patryk Jaki, stood up and, on the misfortune of people, on these great human dramas, proposed a draft law, assumptions for a privatization law project, inviting us to a great debate, and then to regulate these matters. 3 years have passed. The PiS government still rules our country, and the privatization law is still not here, just as it wasn't. Justice has not been served, and it still has not been served to this day - stated Robert Biedroń at a press briefing in the Sejm.

- Unfortunately, the list of sins and neglects by PO in this matter is also very long. successive presidents declared their intention to regulate these issues. When tenant and city movements appealed before elections to consider this socially important issue, very strong declarations were made, but none of these declarations were fulfilled. That is why today Lewica is not beating around the bush, because it's not about beating around the bush. It's about tackling the privatization mafia, about regulating something that should have been regulated 31 years ago. This is one of the biggest shames of the Third Polish Republic, which we must resolve today. Poland is today the only country in the post-communist bloc that has not regulated privatization issues. We are the only country that has allowed the mafia to throw people out of their homes with impunity, while politicians passively watched. That is why today we propose a discussion, a broad debate, because nothing about you without you. A debate on the privatization law. We want to submit the best possible project, to successfully pass it through the Sejm, with those who have repeatedly declared from this place that they stand on the side of the tenants, not the privatization mafia, and from today we will be conducting very broad consultations, which will lead to the best privatization law project being submitted to the Marshal's office in the coming weeks, and I appeal to all presidential candidates and parliamentary forces for cooperation in this matter, because it is an issue that we must resolve beyond divisions - he continued.

- Today is a time for absolute mobilization, today is the time, these last two weeks of the election campaign, precisely to support Rafał Trzaskowski. We have certain financial limits, but the more obstacles are thrown in our way, the stronger our will to fight for a better Poland, for a common Poland becomes – stated Borys Budka at a press briefing in Gliwice.

- Unfortunately, Silesia acts as a focal point, reflecting the current authorities' powerlessness and the errors made in the fight against the pandemic. When there was time to isolate the sick, to conduct as many tests as possible, Ministers Szumowski and Sasin were busy with elections. They weren't concerned with what was most important – people's health and lives. Now, it's far too late for those actions. Unfortunately, COVID is being used as a cover to brutally resolve the economic problems of Silesian mines, because the selection of these mines for partial closure is not accidental. These are mines that are recording very low economic results, but let me remind you that in the Silesian Voivodeship, Polish mines, this government pumped 10 billion zł into them with no effect – stated Borys Budka during a press briefing in Gliwice.

- We want debates with all candidates. We want these debates to take place, for all candidates to be able to participate on equal terms, but there is one condition. The debate must be fair. Rafał Trzaskowski proposed two debates before the first round so that every Pole could draw conclusions about the programs and proposals of individual candidates. The first debate could take place if television stations could link their signals, so that also and most importantly, candidates could ask each other questions. It's time to end debates where candidates only deliver smooth platitudes, with no interaction between them. We know that today the one most afraid of debates, the man most afraid of answering journalists' questions, is President Duda - stated Cezary Tomczyk at a briefing in the Sejm. 

- For disagreeing with the transfer and smuggling of ideological content into schools without parental consent or consultation, content designed to shape children's psyche, educate them, and instill principles, thus forming their morality, for saying this, I have been attacked both in Western Europe and, unfortunately, in our own country. I state this with great regret. To all these attacks, unfortunately ideologically motivated, I have, ladies and gentlemen, only one answer. I would like you to remember what the aforementioned Saint John Paul II said about these matters with courage and determination. Our moral authority, but an authority not only for us but for the entire world. He wrote the following in his book “Memory and Identity,” published in Krakow in 2005 by Znak Publishing House – said President Andrzej Duda in Lublin.

- He wrote: “There is no shortage of those guilty of serious forms of violating God's law. I am thinking, for example, of the strong pressure from the European Parliament to recognize homosexual unions as another form of family, which would also be entitled to adoption rights. One can, and indeed must, ask if some other, deeper and hidden ideology of evil is not also at work here, an ideology attempting to use human rights against man and against the family” – the president quoted.

- We cannot afford to have our family taken away; we must protect it with all our might. This is my conviction and my stance as President of the Republic of Poland. As long as I live and as long as the state entrusts me with this presidential office, I will defend these rights - said President Andrzej Duda in Lublin.

- I ask for your support, because we simply must weather this ideological hurricane, just as we have weathered many others in our history. We must endure and continue to stand firm, because our roots are very strong. Our history has shown this more than once. This root is enormously strong, and let us hold onto it and protect it, because this is our civic, constitutional duty – said President Andrzej Duda in Lublin.

- I assure my compatriots who are standing here under rainbow banners, under rainbow flags, because I decidedly stand under the white and red flag, and solely under the European flag. Although we have different views, this does not prevent us from respecting and accepting each other, calmly listening to each other's arguments. But above all, that all of us in the Republic have the duty to protect our children and respect the rights of our fellow human beings – said President Andrzej Duda in Lublin.

- All provisions of this charter are based on currently binding constitutional norms. Whoever attacks the provisions of the charter opposes the provisions of the Polish constitution. They want to violate the Polish constitution. I do not agree to this – said President Andrzej Duda in Ryki.

Ladies and gentlemen, I ask for your support because I want Poland to be an economically modern state. I want it to be a highly developed state. I want it to be a state where people live at a high standard, comparable to the countries of Western Europe in material terms. I want it to be a thoroughly modern state, yet one that is founded on its tradition, where this foundation is preserved. Where tradition holds immense significance. Where history and heroes are remembered. Where important chapters are remembered. Where we remember who fought for Poland and who sold Poland out, because this is exceptionally important, also for future generations – said President Andrzej Duda in Ryki.

When asked by journalists in the Sejm whether consequences would be drawn against Przemysław Czarnek for his words about sexual minorities, Deputy Marshal Ryszard Terlecki responded: "Are [they] normal? I don't know. You're asking me."

It also hurts my son. Just like other children whose parents we are, and whose humanity politicians are stripping away. They are not only our sons and daughters, but often also brothers and sisters, members of our families, our friends and acquaintances” - said Helena Biedroń, mother of Robert Biedroń, in front of the Presidential Palace, reading a letter to President Andrzej Duda.

„Mr. President, we are afraid for our children. We do not want to lose them just because someone, believing they aren't human, will hound them, beat them, murder them, or drive them to suicide. Too often, this is what the lives of our children look like in today's Poland. Such harm lasts a lifetime, and sometimes it is too much for the lives of some of our sons and daughters. Bad words hurt more than fists and spitting. Bad words kill” - she added.

- I would like to remind you that when Rafał Trzaskowski started and became a presidential candidate, his support in the polls was 13%. Today it is almost 30%. We are two weeks into the campaign, but it is a very difficult campaign. Let's remember that Andrzej Duda has been the favorite from the very beginning. If there is no full mobilization in the first and second rounds, Andrzej Duda might win these elections. No, I don't think so [not in the first round], although everything is possible - stated Cezary Tomczyk in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Polsat News's "Gość Wydarzeń".

- We know that to win in the second round against Andrzej Duda, absolute mobilization of everyone in Poland and around the world is needed. If I hear today that the government is hindering Poles living abroad from voting by not opening consulates in countries where there is no epidemic, I believe that Poles living abroad are being made to vote more difficult today - he continued.

People cannot get through to consulates, they cannot get through to declare participation in postal voting abroad, and this is indeed a huge problem. Despite this, there is a record influx of people to consulates today and a record number of people are registering to vote. I believe that the turnout could indeed be high. To win these elections in the second round, 10 million votes are needed. This is a truly enormous number – stated Cezary Tomczyk on Polsat News' "Gość Wydarzeń".

– The Civic Platform, just like Law and Justice, will not bring us community. This conflict between PO and PiS has been going on for 15 years, and it is a war where nothing else matters but the party interest of one side or the other. That is why the Left is needed to find some moderation, some sense in Poland, and to look for something that will stitch together a Poland so divided today – said Robert Biedroń in an interview with Danuta Holecka on the TVP Info program “Gość Wiadomości”.

- We have stated very clearly that Rafał Trzaskowski is the mayor of the capital city of Warsaw and a candidate for president of Poland. Today is for governing the city. This is more [than one day a week]. Usually, it's four days a week; travel is typically only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The more intense the campaign becomes, this proportion will likely change - stated Cezary Tomczyk in "Gość Wydarzeń" on Polsat News.

- The Mayor of Warsaw is responsible for Warsaw and must fulfill his duties. Today there are meetings with mayors, crisis management teams, and issues related to opening kindergartens and nurseries - he continued.
